  1. Just finished it. I’m lost for words. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a live action TV show, let alone a SW one, that’s played with my emotions as much as Andor has. The endings of the last two arcs had me shedding a tear. Stellar performances all round. I hope Lucasfilm learns what a well thought out project can do. I agree with @THELEGOBATMAN. I can confidently say that Andor has usurped Brooklyn 99 as my favourite TV show ever. Cassian and Mon Mothma are now definitely in my top 10 SW characters. With the rest of the Andor cast being joint 11th. What did Cassian sacrifice for the rebellion? Calm, kindness, kinship… love. By the time of Rogue One he’s given up all chance of inner peace. He’s made his mind a sunless space. He shares his dreams with ghosts (Maarva, Brasso, Kino, Luthen, Nemik, the Ghor.) He’s condemned to use the tools of his enemy (literally K2S0 and the uniforms he steals). So what did he sacrifice? Everything! The writing and parallels are constantly on point.. We need more Lego sets for Andor. 100%. I have a few ideas. I honestly don’t think words cannot fully describe how much I love this show. I was afraid that I was losing interest in the franchise after Acolyte. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish SC. But Andor S2 has restored my faith in the franchise’s future. Bravo Gilry and Co. Just bravo.
  2. According to TandNbricks, the age of cloth pauldrons will be over as of this year. Before you complain, he says that they’re being replaced by a much better looking alternative. Rubber Dr Strange cape material? If so, that would be great cause I’ve been asking for that for years. Sandtroopers, Stormtrooper officers, clone officers might be peak now. Hopefully we can get an imperial Sandtrooper/ stormtrooper/ BF2/ JFO Battlepack utilising these supposedly better looking pauldrons soon. Either way, a lot of options just opened up for the empire. As for downscaling: I think it’s overblown at times. The U-Wing, ISD and ARC-170 are arguably some of the most overhated perfectly decent sets. Yes. It would be better if some stuff (Turbo Tank) was bigger. But it honestly doesn’t bother me as much in most cases as long as it still performs it’s basic function (U-Wing can still fit 3-4 figs in the bottom if you place carefully.) Days #22, #23 and #24 of Tie Avenger lobbying.
  3. This guy gets it. Army Trooper and stormtrooper BP, Tie Avenger, Occupier Tank and ISB Tactical Agents’ Shuttle would all be perfect. Day #21 of Tie Avenger demanding (Marauder is low-key my favourite Lego imperial tank. It’s so versatile!) I think I gave a pretty good theory about why this was the case with Eadu the last time you brought this up. Otherwise, I respect your opinion. No piece of content is going to please everyone. I don’t agree with your argument though. I don’t see how Rogue One directly contradicts the lore of the OT. And if fan service is all that SW fans respond to, then how come TROS is so unpopular?
  4. I think it’s concerning that you have a secret camera in his house. (U-Wing is easily one of the best sets of the year)
  5. Can’t wait to see what Lego’s planned for the theme’s funeral.
  6. Honestly most realistic part of Andor seeing that the Empire’s officer corps is predominantly British. (I’m joking of course) True. Fair enough. Still praying for the Tie Avenger though. (ISB round table would low-key be a great diorama) I’m surprised Lego’s not created a Luthen’s shop subtheme at this point seeing how they’re now so obsessed with buildable objects. Same. 2026 news can’t come soon enough.
  7. Bacara’s helmet looks good. On the other hand though, it’s made me realise Lego’s probably going to want to reuse this. And there’s only one known way they can…. *Sighs* I can practically smell 501st BP 3: Electric Boogalee next year. It reeks of unfortunate inevitability imo. Day #20 of Tie Avenger grovelling (please Lego, do an Army Trooper BP to tie in with an Avenger instead of the above)
  8. It looks great… For a £90 set. I just can’t see where the price is justified here. Is there a heavily moulded Octupara Tri-droid as a side build or something? I know. I know. But rebellions are built on hope. Andor Season 2 is just too good and has so much set potential for it to just get ignored from now on by Lego. I will die on this hill. 4. 2 Marines, Bacara and Mundi.
  9. Depends on whether the model would have efficient landing gear.
  10. 19. Day #19 of Tie Avenger summoning. Yes Soon I hope. In my mind I’m praying that leakers reveal on Wednesday that the Christmas AT AT is actually the Death Star GWP with a single figure. And the £80 Lego Exclusive set will end up with the 3 figs (Cassian, Stormtrooper and Range Trooper) and be a Tie Avenger. Hence why there’s been such confusion. It’s a delusional idea though. And my theories (apart from V-19) have never turned out to be true. I still wince from the memory of my theorising that last year’s Young Leia set was actually a Zillo Beast with Omega or that the X-Wing vs Tie was a New Republic set. What Clone vehicle types will be left undone after this year? If we figure that out, we know what to expect next year.
  11. Alright. So my friend recently bought and showed off to me his Lego Marvel Milano (76286) In line with @ArrowBricks’s previous suggestion of a sort of bridge sub-theme between UCS and play-scale, I have a few suggestions for how the ‘12+ GoTG Milano/ Benetar scale’ could be applied to some SW ships. (Spoiler: this would work really well for shuttles and freighters) Zeta Class Shuttle: Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, K2S0, Chirrut Imwe, Baze Malbus and Bodhi Rook (Perfect set for RO’s 10th Anniversary if they were to do only one set) Nu-Class Shuttle: Hunter, Crosshair, Wrecker, Rampart, Scorch and Royce Hemlock (Alternate option would be a Republic Commando lineup) Fondor Haulcraft: Luthen Rael, Cassian Andor, Vel Sartha, Bix Calleen, Lonni Jung and Kleya. Shuttle Tyderium: Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie, Lando and Crix Madine Sentinel Class Shuttle: Thrawn, S4 Sabine, S3-4 Ezra, 2 Death Troopers and Governor Pryce The Caisson: cast of Zero Company Stinger Mantis: Cal, Greez, Merrin, Bode, Cere, Eno Cordova and Dagan Gera. Twilight: Anakin, Ahsoka, P1 Rex, Denal, P1 Echo, P1 Fives and R3 S6.
  12. Kriffed Up Beyond All Recognition Day #18 of Tie Avenger lobbying. When we getting the full DS fig list? Also, is the GWP confirmed to be a standard Tie? If not, I reckon it will be an obscure Tie (Raptor would work very well with the current piece count) or Vader’s Tie.
  13. @Darth_Bane13, @Swordy Just watched episode 9. Holy kriff, you guys weren’t kidding. That was one heck of an emotional roller coaster. Day #17 of Tie Avenger requests. But Lucas damn, we just need more Andor sets in general. Mon’s Speeder, Riot Speeder, Troop Speeder, Narkina 5, Partisan/ early X-Wings, Fondor Haulcraft… I’ll take anything. I’ll happily reward Lego just for acknowledging this masterpiece. Hard agree. I was already in the pro Rogue One sets camp. But another great thing about Andor is that it’s retroactively making Rogue One, which is already a very solid movie, even better with small details. I need Zeta Class, Tie Reaper, Scariff citadel, etc… ASAP. Like the optimism. But at this point it’s a given that this one is KUBAR.
  14. So did Bronze Tiger kill Robin in the Lego DC canon?
  15. Just finished watching Episode 8 of Andor S2. Wow… just wow. I think that’s some of the best SW I’ve ever watched. It’s made me feel things about a SW project which I haven’t felt since Victory and Death released, and even then to a greater extent. If Acolyte is what it took to get this… it was worth it. Can’t wait to watch 9 tomorrow. Day #17 of Tie Avenger lobbying (I am also rather enticed by the imperial troop transport speeder (not the ITT) and the riot control speeder which have popped up in quite a few episodes now) Can’t wait for this to be the SW Hoopty (no one will buy it full price)
  16. So now that 6160 figures are on the table thanks to Oscorp’s Green Goblin…. I’d say that Iron Lad has a pretty good chance at being either in the next Hall of Armour or the next Iron Man mech minifig. I could also see Ultimate Cap being a figure if they do another mech for him. Winter Soldier/ Wolverine, as much as he’d be cool, would be very hard to slot in a set casually like other characters could be. His design is so distinctive from your standard X-Men set.
  17. I know right. ”Welcome to the rebellion.” Day #16 of Tie Avenger bargaining. (Krennic, test Pilot Cassian, Range Trooper and a stormtrooper would be perfect.) So America is just Thneedville from The Lorax? I’d honestly take it. Great parts pack for both rebel guerrillas, civilians and pirates . Good point. So maybe Cassian, Range Trooper, Stormtrooper and the datapad droid? 2026 news! Please be swift in your arrival!
  18. So….. Trump’s new 100% movie tariff. Will that apply to/ affect merchandise based on said movies? That concerns us because a lot of SW stuff is filmed here in the UK by Pinewood studios. And all SW movies have used non-US locations. In fact I believe Starfighter is/ was slated to film in the UK as well. If Trump’s tariff applies to already made films as well, that means practically all SW merchandise is screwed. I’m not going to call anyone out about this tariff except for Trump himself because who the kriff was anticipating this one?! Avengers Doomsday is already confirmed to have been hit badly as it was filming in London, Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow is currently filming in the UK, Mission Impossible’s definitely been screwed over, Superman might be screwed, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is cooked… you get the idea. (Before I get eaten by the rancor, this a genuine question about whether it will affect the LSW theme) Day #15 of Tie Avenger begging. (I can practically smell the peak fiction of episodes 7-9 tomorrow)
  19. The DC theme’s getting nothing year. Isn’t it?💀
  20. 2020 Clone Wars and Cantina, 2021 Mando sets, and the very diverse waves of 2022 were all available meaning there was a wide variety of sets to choose from. Before the dark times. Before the buildable characters.
  21. Wow. I’m ignorant. I didn’t even notice the Ferrix security army troopers and Aldani army troopers had different jumpsuits. Whichever variant Lego’d go with, I’d personally hope that they’d keep the division type of army troopers consistent and it’d be 2 army troopers, 1 army trooper NCO (white stripe) and a stormtrooper. All of which have armour. I’m glad we see eye to eye on the build. Bold of you to assume that Lego would even consider making a set based off the unit and featured planet of Lieutenant “Vader wouldn’t tolerate my actions” I hope so.
  22. Just built the Kamino GWP. It’s very well designed. I hope we see some more obscure May 4th GWPs in years to come. As much as I’d like it to be an actual set… a AT PT would be a perfect candidate for this. Perhaps with a certain purple lightsabre wielding red head as one of the figs. (Day #15 of Tie Avenger pleading) Seconded. 2 stormtroopers, a death trooper and a shore trooper would be perfect. Though I’d also like a Army Trooper BP for Andor
  23. Best: either 2015, 2017 or 2022 Worst: 2025
  24. May the 4th be with you everyone Ah. Shops like that are pretty common on your average UK high street. There are others such as Bernado’s for vulnerable children (in addition to the BBC Children in Need telethon in November), Salvation Army (I believe they’re also in US), Hospice in the Weald for those with terminal illnesses, Oxfam for the impoverished, and others. Basically, people donate their old clothes, china, bedsheets, toys etc… to the charity shop for free after cleaning them, the charity shop checks the items’ quality, the charity shop then sells it for 50-75% off the original retail price, the proceeds are then donated to the shop’s organisation minus the shop’s operating costs. The workforce is made up of part time volunteers such as myself and part time paid workers (who, with electricity and water, make up the operating costs.) It’s a system where everyone wins. Everyone’s able to get decent quality clothes/ etc for a significantly marked down price whilst donating money to charity, it provides employment opportunities, and most importantly provides a decent flow of funds for achieving the charity’s objectives. Whether that’s researching cancer, helping homeless people or giving less impoverished kids hot meals. We also have other charities such as the British Royal Legion which raises money to provide support to veterans by selling poppies around Remembrance Day and taking cash donations. They also run a number of pubs for veterans to have a social space. But where does the Reaper Tie into all of this? (Wow, Lego’s really crazy to have made 3 different red and white republic starfighters this year when there are so many cool and popular Tie variants uncovered.) (Day #14)
