  1. I feel attacked here. But yeah. Over saturation is a problem. And ignoring cool things such as the Tie Avenger in a year where it’s 100% more relevant than a Glup Shitto legion with 5 seconds of screen time, is just way too annoying when it’s at the detriment of said relevant cool thing’s chances at getting made. (I will not let this go, however annoying I may end up being, it’s just too perfect a piece of play-set material from a exceptionally good piece of content to go to waste) For the record like clones. I just prefer the empire. I have this username because I like a cheeky bit of alliteration and because I had TBB on the brain at the time of making my account. (Also it makes more sense to have a custom GL paint job on clone armour than stormtrooper armour) Agreed. Also, Krennic and Tarkin should in no way be kept exclusive to this set. They are both main antagonists in multiple pieces of media at this point. They 100% should not be locked behind a $1000 paywall! The ministry of silly hats and the emerging “why the kriff are we even in here” squad are fair game though imo. Diabolical…. Just diabolical.
  2. Wow. So Lego’s sacrificed the desires of all fans but TCW ones this summer and the sets aren’t even worth it? Who am I kidding. Clone bros will complain and still buy 50 day one anyway. Please tell me you have some good news. You wouldn’t have to explicitly say what it is. Just something hopeful. All Lego’s done this year is drop the ball. I need to know if this is a fluke or a new standard. What helped with those sets is that they also stood out in their respective waves. This year, all play-sets either have clones or are a Starfighter with red colouring. Half of them fulfil both categories at once. The U-Wing is definitely what stands out the most this year. Due to its light blue and white colour scheme and unique figures. Day #5 of asking for asking Lego to make a Tie Avenger. I personally think it looks to similar in flight mode to the standard tie to warrant a set. But I respect that you’ve been left out from an Outlander for almost 5 years now. So I hope that at least you can be happy with whatever next year’s Tie is. (They can’t ignore ties again? Can they?) Only if it includes a decent officer.
  3. To my fellow Tie Avengers. (ASSEMBLE!!) Let us pray that there isn’t a notable Tie Fighter in M&G next year. As that would certainly take up the next Tie set slot and definitely condemn our chances of a Avenger as it’s just too large and detailed for a duel pack. 2027 is also a no go since either a normal Tie or Vader’s tie will have to be made for ANH 50th anniversary. Why did Lego have to release 3 different red and white republic starfighters this year?! Couldn’t they have saved one for next year and made the Avenger instead?!
  4. I get why you dislike it. But I don’t think it looks that bad. It’s not as noticeable as Commander Fox. But wouldn’t letting them go and locating the secret rebel base have more strategic value than just killing Leia and letting her become a martyr to the still hidden rebels? I think the plan from the get go was to let them escape and lead them to Yavin. Why else would Vader not join the response team to the security breach regarding his prisoner? Preach! TBF, Major Vonreg’s tie, another Tie Interceptor look a like with red accents, was already on shelves at the time so the lack of a Tie Whisper was understandable. The lack of a Tie Avenger on the other hand is completely inexcusable for the reasons you’ve already listed and especially since the Fang Fighter vs Tie Interceptor, the tie it looks closest to, is now retired. I would have traded the K2S0 Buildable as we likely wouldn’t have gotten Dedra or K2 at all if it was the Avenger. Lego has really just fumbled with the decision making this year huh? DC and SW more than other themes.
  5. Today was about wiping the taste of Acolyte from Lucasfilm’s mouth. Can we just get a confirmation on which tank shitto 75413 is already?!
  6. He did initially leak the Buildable Ewok though. We live in the strangest timeline. But yeah. All his previous LoTR “leaks” have been the Lego equivalent of a Mike Zeroh video.
  7. Wait. The Tie Avenger has shuttle capabilities? I did not know that. I was under the impression that it was just a chunkier Tie Defender. But then again, I haven’t watched the first 3 Andor S2 episodes yet. You have. Now I want one even more for my ISB agent and Death Troopers to deploy from as the Tie Reaper may never happen. The reason why my version was £60 with 4 minifigs was due to that being the standard going rate for smaller ships/ larger starfighters. U-Wing Tie Bomber Sith Infiltrator ARC-170 Mando’s N-1 So I reckon if a Tie Avenger happens it’ll probably be in the £60 sub theme. I’m still waiting for a BF2 Corvus/ Raider Corvette as well. (A 18+ midi in scale with the 2021 light cruiser would be so good) Me Tambor needs a Wat figure. I love all of these. If only Lego would read this thread for ideas.
  8. Someone’s about to get trooper of the year. I know right. This and no Superman sets are just inexcusable. I just got word from my wife’s boyfriend, John Lego. The 2030 AC will be $100 and include Cloud City Boba Fett. I hope that either Maul or Thrawn and a Stormtrooper are the villains included in this year’s AC.
  9. Absolute Cinema! Yet so annoying on the Lego end of things. (My apologies for beating a dead bantha) In other Andor news: it’s currently rated at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes! I believe that’s the highest a SW project has ever recieved. We’re definitely in for a treat. With or without enough Lego sets to do it justice. U-Wing is a day one purchase for me in order to try and get Lego to make more sets.
  10. We usually have Advent Calendar information by now. At this point I’m expecting us to get it alongside the January 2026 intel. (Possibly within the next few weeks-months as we got this year’s August information in December.)
  11. Lucas, I despise Lego right now. Agreed. Even an AT ST, which is due a remake anyway, could include Jedi characters and sell well. Soon enough, these days will end. There will be no rules going forward. What the heck is actually up with Lego this year? It’s been miss (no Superman sets) after miss (not enough Andor sets) after miss (too many buildable characters and clones). I’d go as far to argue that this is the worst year for me lego-wise in the last decade. Why is it that the Republic gets 3 red and white starfighters this year whilst the Empire and Rebellion get one Rebel starfighter shared between them as a normal set? In a year where the only content releasing is about those two factions no less. Wasted potential. And the sad thing is, unlike TCW, Disney + shows don’t seem to get revisited that much. So what’s terrifying to me is that this might be it for Andor. And after that, Lego may prioritise movie based sets.
  12. Ok. So celebration is over. And we have a bunch of news for both 2025, 2026 and maybe 2027 (depending on how quickly they wrap Ahsoka S2) projects. So I’m going to go over what I’d find ideal yet probable for next year’s line-up. Andor Season 2 (Jan 2026 wave I pray) Imperial Army Battlepack (£19.99): 2 Army Troopers, Army Trooper NCO (White stripe) and a stormtrooper. Build is the riot control speeder from S1 finale. Tie Avenger (£59.99): Cassian Andor (test pilot disguise), Stormtrooper, Range Trooper and either Director Krennic or Major Lio Partagaz. Please note: As much as I want an Occupier, ITT, Partisan X-Wing and the new imperial shuttle variant, I unfortunately don’t see those happening if Lego keeps insisting on gimmick sets. Zero Company (least likely of the bunch, but Lego seems to insist on TCW so you never know) The Caisson (£109.99): Hawks, Trick, Luco, Tel, Cly and Astromech. AAT (£39.99): Trick, Cly, B1 Commander and 2 B2s. (Those 2 squad members specifically as their the most marketable) The Mandalorian and Grogu Mando’s AT RT (£12.99): Mando and Grogu Razor Crest 2.0 (£139.99): Mando, Grogu, Zeb, Sigourney Weaver’s character (jacket), Carson Teva, 1 un-named character. New Republic Y-Wing (£59.99): Zeb, Dave Filoni’s character, Sigourney Weaver’s character (flight suit) and R5 D4. Remnant AT AT (£159.99): Mando, Imperial Officer, 2 AT AT pilots and 2-3 Snowtroopers (without face coverings) Arena battle (£29.99): Mando, Rotta the Hutt, Embo and another un-named character. Ahsoka Season 2 Weird force creature from concept art (£49.99): Ahsoka, Sabine and Baylan Midi-scale Chimera (£54.99) Chimera Bridge book nook (£79.99): Grand Admiral Thrawn, Commodore Faro, Captain Enoch, Captain Pellaeon and a few crewmen. (A few of characters on this list are pure hopium) New Republic A-Wing (£34.99): Zeb, Ezra and Captain Enoch. Something else with Admiral Ackbar and Night Sister Assassins. I’m not sure what to put for Maul Shadow Lord. Except for: Maul, Rook Cast, Marrok and not Darth Talon as minifigs.
  13. Sorry. The opportunity for the meme was too good to pass up. “I’m just a simple man just trying to make my way in the universe.” I don’t ask Lego for too much particularly, but apparently it’s still too much of an ask. The same applies to DC to an outrageous extent. I wholeheartedly agree. Aesthetics are key to success in SW. Wait. Who’s the 2nd clone trooper? I thought there was only one. 💀
  14. BEANO my beloved! What the f*** is a bad story?! I can confirm that Absolute Dennis is next. Without the catapult. Without Gnasher. Dennis must embark on an epic quest and redefine what it truly means to be a menace. After that is Absolute Minnie the Minx. Think of it as British Doom Slayer. Then we choose between Roger the Dodger, Desperate Dan, Bash Street Kids, Calamity James or Corporal Clott to be the next wave of titles.
  15. The Tie Avenger and an Army Trooper/ stormtrooper BP for it to strafe (based off what appears to be Rebel Moon planet but better) is currently my biggest hope for January 2026. Make the build for the BP the riot speeder from the S1 finale and the Empire’s 2 year ground force shortage (Lego-wise) would be over just like that. MARA JADE and Starkiller are my unlikely hopes. But Jek-14 and Rowan Freemaker are characters who I realistically hope show up. I fear what’s happened to Obi-Wan in this universe if Ahsoka’s a Brickheadz. Did he turn into his 2017 construction figure?
  16. I think Jedi 3 will release in 2027. And Ahsoka S2 will release in late 2026. So yeah, very good point. As I said before. Delta Squad could never. Yet again: Delta Squad could never attempt to match this level of rogue agent aura. (They’re still cool though) Cal Kestis, Obi-Wan (2014), Darktrooper Attack Luke, Siege of Mandalore Ahsoka, Commander Cody, Grand Moff Tarkin, Pong Krell, 501st Trooper (2013) and Santa Vader all hold special places in my heart. As for things I’d like either for Lego to make or which I don’t have: Mara Jade, Delta Squad, Captain Pellaeon, Director Krennic, Thrawn, Purge Troopers, Merrin, Army Troopers and more stormtroopers in general.
  17. Wait. Does that mean it’s being canonised? Or was it already a canon exception to Visions like the Homelander episode in The Boys: Diabolical?
  18. F***. The perfect cosmic DC set is right here. But Lego refuses to be cool. This would cater to Lantern fans, Superman fans, spaceship fans, Justice League fans. Add Carol and Red Lantern Sinestro. And it’d be a top 5 DC set easily.
  19. What I find funny about the trailer is the narrator says that they fight a war in the shadows but the main cast immediately proceeds to take on the separatists in full on open warfare Bad Batch style. But, a diverse group of operatives heralding from different species and with a Jedi on the team? Delta Squad could never. Really intrigued by this game. Hopefully we can at least get character packs or droid tanks with the main cast if Lego doesn’t want to make their ship. Ahsoka Season 2 concept art has me pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think Thrawn was going to get screen time as Ahsoka, the main protagonist, is no longer in proximity plot-wise to him. We had better get Gilad and Karyn up on the Chimera’s bridge this season. And hopefully Thrawn calls the Ascendancy for aid (I’d pay good money to see Ronan’s reaction to the Death Star blowing up twice) Oh. The realisation just hit me that the double death troopers were probably Pik and Waffle. RIP. It makes me optimistic that 2026 will be an Imperial renaissance (just hopefully with a decent number of generic forces alongside the Night Sister assassins.) But I’m still fearful that Andor Season 2 sets won’t be part of it. Also Zeb and some NR soldiers appear to be fighting on Dathomir. If only there was some force sensitive ally who has endured the hardships of the planet first hand, with a thorough database of the fauna and a Night Sister waifu to help them. Otherwise they’re cooked. As for Admiral Ackbar: he’s also cooked, just not fatally. Nothing will. Darkseid Mara is. @Swordy: good point about the 2020 AT AT. I forgot that the speeder could fit into the back. You’re probably right that if they get rid of that function it should be fine. (though they might make the entire platform a bit wider.)
  20. MCU, yes. But they’ve only scratched the surface. Spider-ham Venomised Spider-ham Spider-cat Venomised Spider-cat Lockjaw Ultron Antony Princess Lasher Bats the ghost dog Jeff! Lucky the Pizza Dog Rocket’s animal friends (comic versions or GoTG animated series) Doop Just to name a few. Venomised Groot’s existence suggests that all of these are now possible.
  21. Trust me. You don’t want that. That’s how it starts. And then before you know it buildable characters take up between 1/4-1/5 of the theme’s annual set slots.
  22. I believe it was stated somewhere by Lego that Josh is either Johnny’s son or nephew.
  23. Guys. Stop with the tariff talk and the insults at each other. Even if we don’t agree on political matters we should be civil to one another and just discuss Lego and Star Wars. I don’t want to see this thread lose its friendly nature. Back to more light hearted things, Rebuild the Galaxy season 2 got announced Holy bantha! Lego acknowledged Jaxxon. Ashley Eckstein is back to voice Brickheadz Ahsoka. And Buildable Chewie is canon to RTG. Going back to Jaxxon, an obscure legends character, @Mandalorianknight, we both know what the implications of this could mean for season 3. She calls to us. @BrickPrick Welcome to Eurobricks. It’s a pleasure to have you
  24. Wow. Even Guy’s corporate suit actually looks really good in action figure form. Lego will pay for their negligence. This I vow.
  25. You don’t need to worry about getting the exact same model. The AT AT in the trailer is not the same variant as the traditional Hoth ones. It’s more in line with the version we see in rebels. If you want reassurance: observe the spherical turrets situated on the cockpit’s sides and the how the viewport curves round the said sides more like the ITT rather than the traditional single red slit of the Hoth ATAT. Also the interior appears to be one hollow structure, very different to the multi floored load-out displayed in detail by the UCS model. I’m currently going to guess this is a given set. The question is if the AT RT is included or sold separately. Either way, figs I’d guess would be: the officer, 2 tank drivers, Mando and 2-3 Snowtroopers (hopefully without the face covering, I like how the helmets look like skulls without them) Another question is how is Lego going to do the interior? Previous play-scale AT ATs have never had interiors as large and detailed as what’s evidently required for this. That’s largely due to the fact Luke never entered the AT AT, and therefore Lego had the opportunity to be minimalistic. Mando on the other hand needs crates and weapon racks as well as seating. Hopefully we’ll get some good announcements tomorrow. And even if there’s nothing public we have our very own Manny Bothans. Zero Company trailer is probably a given though. Maybe RTG season 2 trailer as the Lego panel is tomorrow.
