  1. I believe it was stated somewhere by Lego that Josh is either Johnny’s son or nephew.
  2. Guys. Stop with the tariff talk and the insults at each other. Even if we don’t agree on political matters we should be civil to one another and just discuss Lego and Star Wars. I don’t want to see this thread lose its friendly nature. Back to more light hearted things, Rebuild the Galaxy season 2 got announced Holy bantha! Lego acknowledged Jaxxon. Ashley Eckstein is back to voice Brickheadz Ahsoka. And Buildable Chewie is canon to RTG. Going back to Jaxxon, an obscure legends character, @Mandalorianknight, we both know what the implications of this could mean for season 3. She calls to us. @BrickPrick Welcome to Eurobricks. It’s a pleasure to have you
  3. Wow. Even Guy’s corporate suit actually looks really good in action figure form. Lego will pay for their negligence. This I vow.
  4. You don’t need to worry about getting the exact same model. The AT AT in the trailer is not the same variant as the traditional Hoth ones. It’s more in line with the version we see in rebels. If you want reassurance: observe the spherical turrets situated on the cockpit’s sides and the how the viewport curves round the said sides more like the ITT rather than the traditional single red slit of the Hoth ATAT. Also the interior appears to be one hollow structure, very different to the multi floored load-out displayed in detail by the UCS model. I’m currently going to guess this is a given set. The question is if the AT RT is included or sold separately. Either way, figs I’d guess would be: the officer, 2 tank drivers, Mando and 2-3 Snowtroopers (hopefully without the face covering, I like how the helmets look like skulls without them) Another question is how is Lego going to do the interior? Previous play-scale AT ATs have never had interiors as large and detailed as what’s evidently required for this. That’s largely due to the fact Luke never entered the AT AT, and therefore Lego had the opportunity to be minimalistic. Mando on the other hand needs crates and weapon racks as well as seating. Hopefully we’ll get some good announcements tomorrow. And even if there’s nothing public we have our very own Manny Bothans. Zero Company trailer is probably a given though. Maybe RTG season 2 trailer as the Lego panel is tomorrow.
  5. That was the Thing that stood out to me in the trailer. As for Silver Surfer: who put the Marvel Rivals devs on costume design? I fear a lot of more rowdy audiences won’t treat this like a F4 movie, but rather turn it into Avengers: Goonsday
  6. “🎶 Galaxy of Stars. Are you fighting just for me? 🎶— Ryan Gosling probably. We’re so back. How dare you. He’s obviously literally me! Lucasfilm will try to launch another Rogue Squadron movie in 30 years only to get upended by Top Gun Rooster. You forgot the buildable logo and clone battlepack Jokes aside, i’m curious to see who Ryan Gosling, who I’m guessing is part of a New New Republic or something, will be fighting in a space battle movie. My heart yearns for the Grysk or Chiss Ascendancy. But Lucasfilm logic dictates that it’s either pirates or Palpatine again. Also I have high hopes for this as A) Ryan Gosling is a great actor and his performances are usually gold standard (his Ken carried Barbie 2023 in my eyes) and in good films. B) He’s popular enough to generate an audience for the film outside of SW fans (no offence to Daisy Ridley) which should give Disney the confidence to actually release it. And C) Shawn Levy as director and writer is encouraging as he’s been writing the script for a few years now so it shouldn’t face MCU level problems, and he did an amazing job with Deadpool and Wolverine last year, showing he can do great service to established characters if any show up. And most importantly: it might finally get my sister to like Star Wars again. That can be simply answered by the fact that Lego knows that if they increase prices too much, no matter how justified they might potentially be this time, a whole lot of their consumers in NA will go away. Therefore they may be increasing prices by an amount that seems reasonable with the current situation and soften the blow whilst also making concessions to prevent catastrophic long term market losses. But anyway. Enough of tariffs for now, it’s a depressing subject and I don’t wish the friendly nature of this thread to get undermined by polarised politics. Not when we have more exciting things to discuss. So new leaked M&G trailer. I’m seeing snowtroopers with and without face coverings, beautiful AT ATs (looking a lot more like the Rebels version actually), AT RT, Razer Crest, Imperial base, the gladiator arena from Thor Ragnorok. I do love the look at the Imperial Commander I hope we get a minifigure, we need more imperial field officer minifigures. I believe it’s just Veers and Kallus currently. As for Mando himself: bro thinks he’s Daredevil. And it looks kriffing awesome.
  7. Huh. I almost forgot about that. Maybe I should continue? If I remember my roadmap correctly it should have been Darkseid War: Part One next. The sad thing is that I’ll probably never be able to top Season 3: Gorilla Warfare. Even my Lantern season, although fig choices were better, felt a bit less inspired. Which honestly shames me as I’m primarily a GL fan and only know the basics of Flash lore. This is kinda what LSW is doing with Rebuild The Galaxy
  8. It is tariffs because this is only in North America. Don’t be shocked that the company that we all know to cut costs wherever they can to increase profits doesn’t want to get less profits than they were initially planning because of tariffs which were implemented a month ago, after they had already set the August and June prices. Ya’ll should have seen this coming the moment Trump was elected. Tariffs were one of his big campaign pledges. (I’m not getting political, it’s just logic) The prices are extremely outrageous though. And I feel bad for ya’ll across the pond. But it’s not unexpected. Sauce? Vietnam = 10% Denmark = 10% Mexico (the largest US provider) = 25% last I checked, It appears Lego’s making some concessions as prices are increasing for US by 10% on average. The $1100 DS is gonna be crazy,
  9. What even is this set. Has there ever been a set that’s been as muddled up in information as this? Even the Death Star rumour last year only went from Death Star to ISD (with some minifig mishaps). (TBF the Falchion was admittedly in both of the two Zillo beast arc episodes.) But what is the point of making the Falchion without the Zillo Beast? It’s otherwise a completely useless vehicle. Bad news? As in bad news for clone fans? As in Lego’s replacing it with a Andor Tie Avenger vs ITT or Occupier tank after the very vocal hype around season 2? As in I’m being delusional with this train of thought aren’t I?
  10. Just for the sake of asking questions which one of these potential DC CMF series would you prefer? (They all have 0% chance of happening) 1. Lantern League CMF Kyle Rayner (Ion or White Lantern) Dinah Lance (Dceased) Alfred Pennyworth (DC vs Vampires) Superman (Injustice) Parrallax or God of Light Hal Jordan Alan Scott (Kingdom Come) Jo Mullein Guy Gardner (Red or Blue) Flash (Blue) Lex Luthor (Orange) Wonder Woman (Star Sapphire) Supergirl (Red) 2. Absolute CMF Batman Superman Wonder Woman Martian Manhunter Flash Green Lantern Mr Freeze Alfred Pennyworth Peacemaker Captain Cold (with Grodd accessory) Lois Lane Darkseid Booster Gold 3. Dark Knights/ Dark Multiverse CMF The Batman Who Laughs The Lois Lane who Supers The Wonder Woman who Chainsaws The Robin who Kings The Superboy who Primes The Batman who Breaks Dawn The Flash who sits (in mobius chair) The Batman who Grim Reaps The Batwoman who drowns The Superman who rocks The Sinestro who both lives and dies (White and Black Lantern) Duke Thomas - The Final Knight
  11. If memory serves me correctly, we knew those set numbers from TBoBF and Mando S3 were coming but just not what they were. Unfortunately those sets were complete spoilers. I fear the Tie Avenger may have been doomed the moment Lego decided to prioritise a Buildable K2S0. A part of me selfishly hopes Lego loses money this year as a result of focusing too much on clones and Buildable characters. They seem to not realise there is such thing as over-saturating the market. And yes. I know this is what we in the Aslume would call a “Turtle solution”
  12. So I guess I was right. As the Buildable K2S0 just leaked. Holy bantha! That’s an ugly waste of a set slot. The head is near chewbacca levels of disturbing (it looks more like SM-33 than K2S0), the shoulders are really thick and out of proportion. The arms’ colour pattern is the inverse of what it should be. The arms are too skinny in way too many areas. I’d argue that the chest is well done though. This should have been a Tie Avenger no question about it. Black series confirmed that the inferno squad looking pilot is Cassian’s disguise. Not a spoiler cause we see this outfit in trailers and sneak peaks. Very good points. I sincerely hope you’re right. Same. It’s been my most hyped SW project since Jedi Survivor released. My hype list is the same as yours just with Zero Company added on. You know as well as I do that’s not how Andor rolls. I reckon the most we’d possibly get is a Vader appearance to punish certain ISB officers for their failings. No even then that theory is only going off a few frames in the trailers. 5 shifts remaining Fair enough. Speaking of which, Lego has the audacity to put a child in the building image of K2 S0. What child would want this ugly kriffer? Just admit you’re making these for adults now.
  13. I sincerely hope you’re right on both accounts. Honestly so far I could see one potentially including: Cassian (in Tie Pilot uniform), a stormtrooper or two and a range trooper. Maybe the Commander of that base is important or something or it’s just Krennic stealing yet another Tie-with-better-weapons-and-hyperdrive project’s funding. I thought they had a normal armour variant. But I did the research and it turns out I was gaslighted by numerous fan arts and video game mods. According to Wookieepedia that’s just the 21st Nova Corps’ standard armour and the Snowtrooper face covering is used to protect the troopers from toxic atmospheres. Which is the type of environment where the marines were deployed apparently. Actually, i have a feeling that K2S0 might get revealed this weekend at celebration. This is stemming from the fact that Lego.com lists preorders as illegible for qualifying for SW May 4th promos. Which is a curious detail since all the current SW sets available for preorder currently will release in May 1st and therefore qualify for the promos. And the June sets are surely all too cheap to warrant preorders, “You’ll get your Buildable Glup Shitto and you’ll like it!!” — LSW designer who seems to dislike minifigs and vehicles.
  14. So your solution to increasing the number of in-house themes is to get rid of the big one that’s probably providing Lego with a large chunk of its non-licensed profits? This feels more like a scorched earth policy. As you know, Monkey Kid is ending next year anyway. It makes no sense. But you, o great Turtle, have never made sense.
  15. I hope so. But the unfortunate big difference here is that this isn’t a spoiler set. The Mando S3 and Ahsoka ones you’re referring to were. We can only hope. But the precedent doesn’t bode well.
  16. Watch at your own risk. This might give you a heart attack. The LEGO Movie also starring: Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, TMNT’s Michelangelo, Abraham Lincoln, Wonder Woman, Milhouse Van Houten, Shaquille O'Neal, Gandalf, Dumbledore and more. Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn and Aquaman were in TLM2 Is Technic not in-house?
  17. Lucas damn it Lego! Was a second Jango’s Slave One really necessary instead of this?!
  18. I’ve never felt so confused and insulted simultaneously. Let me tell you something, I have always liked SW shuttles. Ever since I first watched SW when I was 4 years old. Therefore, [insert Kingpin reference] I took my spare parts and built a damn good self-made variation of the iconic Lambda. It didn’t matter that it was made from a fever dream of different colours or was too boxy. I loved each new variation I made because it was mine and my minifigs had something to deploy from. Luke Skywalker would have epic battles with Vader, General Greivous, battle droids, non-Lego dinosaurs and Lego city minifigs. I didn’t care if it was canon or not. It was up to my young imagination. The vehicles, the storylines, the different locations made from the carpet, garden, bed sheets, old wooden railway kits. It all mattered to me. I made my own epic stories. And I’m sure this is exactly what most young Star Wars fans have done. If that’s not true creativity and creating your own universe. Then I don’t know what is.
  19. Point of conversation: I think the next Marvel modular will be a corner seeing how the normal Modulars do one for every 2-3 normals. Any guesses on what could fit as a corner? Something spidey related would be my guess with the film next year.
  20. This looks cool. But I think that Lego will give Arkham a more stretched out appearance than this. Like the X-Mansion from last year.
  21. Attention fellow Brits. The Kamino GWP is £145 threshold. This suits me as I was planning on getting the U-Wing, Clone vs Droid, Mandalore Ambush and Dropship vs Speeder to bolster my forces and for double VIP points anyway. It’s either him, Vader, Shockwave, Dr Doom or Batman. Observe how the dark side grants an aura farming proficiency.
  22. “Turn off the lights” Face it tiger. You and Peter Parker should form a therapy group. I’m sure Hawkman and Barbara Gordon would love to join. He just needs to cheerio up. I’m sure things will turn out Greatttt. I’m sure the rebel pilots are just thrilled at their new set of stylised repulsorlifts.
  23. I’ll be honest. I think a TBBS3 Turbo Tank with all Clone Force 99 members (Except Tech) and a couple of TK troopers would have been a better choice than this. But still, I’m happy for those who are happy. Thanks. Will do. There’s also bound to be more playable characters if this is truly SW X-COM. So that’s going to be interesting to see. I feel like the Jedi might have a green lightsaber specifically because they’re a Consular. And therefore there may be an additional Jedi Guardian class with a blue lightsaber.
  24. My apologies for the double post. But Star Wars: Zero Company just got announced. It’s a turn-based strategy similar to X-COM set during the Clone Wars. Now I know I’ve been vocal about my lack of desire for more TCW stuff. But this. This is something different. (Even the playable clones will likely have cool and unique designs) Battlepack sized character packs would be perfect for tying in with a game like this.
  25. Huh. I never see BPs go on discount at my local stores and supermarkets. Just on Amazon. These are very good points. Thanks. Karyn Faro (my tactician Queen) Arihnda Pryce Elia Kane Ellian Zahra Natasi Daala Nath Alico Adea Rite Tala Durith Oniye Namada Nanda Delian Mors Jylia Shale Terisa Kerrill Iden Versio The day that happens may be the day where I lose all faith in the theme entirely. Simple answer to the problem: Year 1 = Imperial Battlepack, clone Battlepack, Resistance vs First Order/ rebel vs Imperial super Battlepack. Year 2 = Rebel Battlepack, Criminal faction Battlepack, Clone vs droid Battlepack. Rinse, repeat, profit and everyone wins. UCS Falcon, TRoS Falcon and Daily Bugle have entered the chat But helmet holes? No cloth waste capes. No 69th Legion. Lego obviously hates their fans!!! Star Wars celebration is in a few days. I’m anticipating a sneak peak at M&G to get released as well as news on the next animated project. Either way I’m fully expecting us to have a lot of educated speculation on 2026 sets this weekend. I definitely expect there to be a RTG S2 trailer since the Micro Tank is definitely not a S1 set.
