Boy, I could really do with some 2026 news soon. Day #32 of having my own rebellion

That’s fair. It’s just that I’m rooting for more Andor and Imperial sets. And the Avenger and the ISB shuttle are the most likely candidates. I love how we’re all in agreement on this one. Had it not been cursed with being part of the stud shooter era they would have been the best BP combo of all time. Really hoping for a remake but maybe with clean stormtroopers (with new black pauldron piece), new shock trooper and a Scout Trooper instead. The build could definitely have had improvements. If it was remade I’d want the build to either be a checkpoint or one of the small turbo lasers you could commandeer on Sullust. That or an Army Trooper BP are my most hoped BPs for 2026. The empire is in dire need of a normal BP with versatile units. And rebels need some non-fleet troopers period.

Battlefront 2015 took 2.5 years to make the base game Battlefront II base game took 2 years from that to release in 2017 Theoretically, if they start making it now, it could be ready by Summer-Christmas 2027. Or they just bring back the original devs who have expressed interest to update BF2 within 6 months to a year with the previously planned Mustafar map and Ventress and Ahsoka heroes. Then the update pipeline starts focusing on content that released since it stopped development. (Mando, Andor, Bad Batch, Kenobi, JFO, JS…) Speaking of battlefront, I’d love a remake of the 2016 Rebel and Imperial BPs. 2 of the best battlepacks of the 2010s.

Agreed. Sometimes pain is the greatest teacher. The person who decided to make no sets for a freaking Superman movie is likely the same guy who thought Young Leia would be a good LSW Anniversary figure, the X-Jet, Hoopty and this year’s Endgame battle’s price, no Tie Avenger or ISB Tactical Shuttle for Andor S2, and of course the lack of Robin in the megablocking Batman and Robin Batmobile. These decisions are too stupid to have been made by multiple people. (I’m joking of course. But it does feel like this is the case at times)

Well then: (The BF2 community crashing the servers on every platform are Raddus’ fleet btw) Day #31 of taking the next chance. That would be a possibility for me if there were no other good imperial sets. Add LegoEmpire to that list. He’s started saying there’s a 212th BP coming this autumn.

Day #30 of Tie Avenger campaigning. Only about a month until 2026 news hopefully.

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Remember this. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. And then remember this. The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empire's authority and then there will be one too many. One single thing will break the siege. Remember this. Try. Words to live by. (Day #29 of trying) We are at a crossroads in the franchise’s history. Both I and the battlefront community are striving for a better future. This is not just a single battle. This is a war for the very future and health of the franchise. Lego is but one front. Battlefront is another. I’m just doing my part to win the war and help the franchise’s health. And it is a sacrifice I’d happily make in the name of the rebellion. There is a future here, for those who dare. (Why yes. Andor has radicalised me.) Anyway, I digress a Pauldron pic has leaked. 🥵 It’d better get used in more sets next year. The 327th didn’t serve under Obi-Wan or Mara Jade though.

It’s now releasing on the same day as Dune: Messiah. Is Marvel stupid?! The reason why Barbenheimer and Wickediator worked was because they were two completely contrasting genres. These are just 2 Blockbuster Action Movies. Dune even currently has a better track record among the GA than Marvel. No, no, no. This is good news. If Superman succeeds Lego will now have the opportunity to make more than 3 Batman sets next year. If Disney was smart, they’d move The Mandalorian & Grogu forward to capitalise on May 4th hype. (It is also going to be a bank holiday here in the UK)

Day #28 of fighting the good fight. The helmet is… alright I guess.

The BF3 movement is actually crazy. I was watching a YouTube video about the new Wonder Woman comic issue and a dozen of the comments were asking for BF3. BF2 player base also continues to spike. It’s now at 10,000 day peak on steam. The frontier of the rebellion is everywhere. Andor really was the one single thing that broke the siege. I have not seen this much hype and goodwill towards the SW brand since the Mando S2 finale. I love to see it. I just hope M&G and Maul Shadowlord can at least keep the ball rolling. (Coruscant ISB building map, Cassian hero, Fondor Haulcraft, and KX Droid reinforcement as BF3 features?)

I already did that when we got U-Wing and Clone Trooper dominance news. I can’t completely rehash material. God I love Andor. I’ll be sure to use season 2 monologues when 2026 news comes round (where is it?!!)

We are condemned to use the tools of our enemy (501st BP style lobbying) to defeat them. I burn my decency and data for another subtheme’s future. So what is my sacrifice? Not that much but I just really want a Tie Avenger (and ISB Tactical Shuttle and Army Trooper BP, but I’m willing to compromise unlike Clone Bros) Day #27 of Tie Avenger hunting. MARA JADE!!!

Day #26 of Tie Avenging Can we just get 2026 or Death Star news already?!

I bet Lego’s glad that 501st BP MkII is still on shelves. Take a look at this. (2 days ago, it’s about 650 higher now) The Andor and ROTS effect is crazy. And it keeps climbing. And now that plastic pauldrons are likely a thing, Lego very much has the ability now more than ever before to do the Imperial and FO BF2 classes. There’s also a 501st BP style BF3 movement happening right now as well. Good point. It’s just we’ve missed out on so much stuff this year, I just hope that M&G doesn’t cannibalise the possibility of more Andor sets (unlikely as they are already)

Tie Avenger. Where art thou Tie Avenger? (Day #26) How many sets do ya’ll realistically think we’ll get next year? More because a movie is releasing, or the same because Lego’s a cheapskate?

Day #26 of Tie Avenger requesting After the Turbo Tank and 327th BP’s outcome, I don’t have too much faith in the MTT being good either. Soon these days will end.

It almost feels like DC’s trolling me at this point (August cover art) I mean. Kyle’s literally holding one of the new Ninjago swords.

So. I was recently watching a couple of videos regarding the recent Vader Fortnite controversy… and I noticed that there are some ITTs placed around the Fortnite map. I seriously question why Lego’s not made a proper ITT yet. It’s very popular due to appearances in Rebels, Mando, Outlaws, JFO and now Fortnite. It just feels like a no brainer for a imperial vehicle. Nah. Zeta Class in the Milano scale would be better imo. The vehicle key to the movie’s plot, finally getting made would be a perfect and symbolic tribute to the 10th Anniversary of the best Disney SW movie (which of course has been made even better through Andor’s character building) Agreed on your other point. Day #25 of Tie Avenger summoning. Though I’d also calibrate my enthusiasm for a ISB Tactical Shuttle.

Now that Andor S2 is over I’d like to share some ideas. I honestly think that all of these deserve to get made.

Theory: @THELEGOBATMAN is Manny Bothans and discovered the construction of a 2nd Death Star when he attempted to rescue Dedra from Narkina 5. As he found out that the prisons were still manufacturing Death Star parts despite it having been exploded. TheLegoBothan then alerted the Alliance and faked his death so he could live happily ever after with his war criminal wife. Now that would be Kino (Loy)

Just finished it. I’m lost for words. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a live action TV show, let alone a SW one, that’s played with my emotions as much as Andor has. The endings of the last two arcs had me shedding a tear. Stellar performances all round. I hope Lucasfilm learns what a well thought out project can do. I agree with @THELEGOBATMAN. I can confidently say that Andor has usurped Brooklyn 99 as my favourite TV show ever. Cassian and Mon Mothma are now definitely in my top 10 SW characters. With the rest of the Andor cast being joint 11th. What did Cassian sacrifice for the rebellion? Calm, kindness, kinship… love. By the time of Rogue One he’s given up all chance of inner peace. He’s made his mind a sunless space. He shares his dreams with ghosts (Maarva, Brasso, Kino, Luthen, Nemik, the Ghor.) He’s condemned to use the tools of his enemy (literally K2S0 and the uniforms he steals). So what did he sacrifice? Everything! The writing and parallels are constantly on point.. We need more Lego sets for Andor. 100%. I have a few ideas. I honestly don’t think words cannot fully describe how much I love this show. I was afraid that I was losing interest in the franchise after Acolyte. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish SC. But Andor S2 has restored my faith in the franchise’s future. Bravo Gilry and Co. Just bravo.

According to TandNbricks, the age of cloth pauldrons will be over as of this year. Before you complain, he says that they’re being replaced by a much better looking alternative. Rubber Dr Strange cape material? If so, that would be great cause I’ve been asking for that for years. Sandtroopers, Stormtrooper officers, clone officers might be peak now. Hopefully we can get an imperial Sandtrooper/ stormtrooper/ BF2/ JFO Battlepack utilising these supposedly better looking pauldrons soon. Either way, a lot of options just opened up for the empire. As for downscaling: I think it’s overblown at times. The U-Wing, ISD and ARC-170 are arguably some of the most overhated perfectly decent sets. Yes. It would be better if some stuff (Turbo Tank) was bigger. But it honestly doesn’t bother me as much in most cases as long as it still performs it’s basic function (U-Wing can still fit 3-4 figs in the bottom if you place carefully.) Days #22, #23 and #24 of Tie Avenger lobbying.

This guy gets it. Army Trooper and stormtrooper BP, Tie Avenger, Occupier Tank and ISB Tactical Agents’ Shuttle would all be perfect. Day #21 of Tie Avenger demanding (Marauder is low-key my favourite Lego imperial tank. It’s so versatile!) I think I gave a pretty good theory about why this was the case with Eadu the last time you brought this up. Otherwise, I respect your opinion. No piece of content is going to please everyone. I don’t agree with your argument though. I don’t see how Rogue One directly contradicts the lore of the OT. And if fan service is all that SW fans respond to, then how come TROS is so unpopular?
