LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

Same here. Fingers crossed a Tie Reaper is next (though I would prefer larger with more minifigs) I’m honestly curious as to why Lego’s not releasing a starfighter duel pack this year. -

You’re overthinking this. They’re iconic vehicles in fun festive colour-schemes Also, I’d argue that Christmas is a reasonable exception since it’s evolved from just a Christian holiday. Atheists like myself celebrate it, people I know from Buddhism and Hinduism celebrate it. It’s become so commercialised for better or for worse that the holiday, not the purpose mind you, has transcended its exclusivity to Christianity. Besides, are there any religious connotations to Gingerbread colours? Also by that line of thinking… children shouldn’t be allowed to get toy: tanks, soldiers, fighter jets etc… or video games like CoD for Christmas because they’d be “perverting weaponry into fun holiday” traditions. -
Well. It’s a good thing that I’m ARMED AND DANGEROUS! FANTASTIC! You fool! You think the high ground is your ally? I was born in it (on the elevated cities of Kamino), moulded by it. I did not touch the surface until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but pathetic. Oh, and I have a little spacefaring piece of jewellery which practically makes me high ground incarnate. LUX IMPERIUM!!!

I am never going to emotionally recover from this -
But they have been reported on YouTube. Just not by Ashnflash and LAN members.
-
And since this topic began there have been about 75 different leaks from SW, Ninjago, City, Marvel, Icons, Dreamzz, Friends, Technic, etc…

“Jarvis, drop my needle” Best case scenario is that this is how we get MK42. After all the Jingle Bells suit up from Iron Man 3 is iconic. (To me at least) Next year will be Snow-Spider vs Santa Goblin and Festive Venom. Mark my words. -

This interview gives me conflicting feelings as a DC fan. On one hand, they say they want to do more DC characters, good. On the other, they say that DC needs more media relevant to general audiences as if the freaking Superman movie releasing this year which they acknowledged a few moments later doesn’t exist. Also the relevancy stuff is utter crap at this point. Where were the Ant Man minifigs in sets for Quantumania? Where are the Thunderbolts sets? Where are the YFNSM sets, when X-men’97 got them? Where were the Spider-verse sets on release? Where are the Marvel Rivals sets?! Speaking of Marvel Rivals. If Lego really wanted to profit off Buildable figures… they could make morbillions off a certain demographic. -
The Absolute universe is peak. Therefore Lego won’t make sets based off it. It’s a shame, were never getting thought druggie MM ever. Or eldritch horror Mister Freeze. Or Bane… wait, he’s pretty much the same as Prime Earth. I’ve narrowed down the possible combinations of characters for the GL mech that’s totally releasing in January 2026. I’ll be listing them from most likely to least likely. This is judging by how relevant they are next year. Guy Gardner and General Zod (Logically capitalises on both Lanterns and Superman hype, plus Lego seems to like including letters on Superman characters) Hal Jordan and John Stewart (Lanterns’ leads) John Stewart and Sinestro (I have a sneaking suspicion that Lego might want to fulfill some diversity quotas for the DC theme as the last black DC minifigure was Val Zod in 2022) Jessica Cruz and Supergirl (My adventures with Green Lantern and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow are releasing, my guess is that Kara goes to same school as Jessica and that’s how Jess ties in with MAWS) Guy Gardner and Braniac Hal Jordan and Sinestro (I wish this one was higher) Jessica Cruz and Sinestro Jessica Cruz and Starfire

Syril and his identical cousins have been the backbone of the imperial military since Lego discontinued old mr angry. (I miss him) Long live the Empire I do agree that obscure sets like the UT-AT shouldn’t not be made. I think the wording of my point was quite confusing. You’ve @Swordy’d me. Maybe. Weird how we may see 2 different RFT releases in the time since the last play-scale Luke’s Land-speeder, Snowspeeder, A-Wing and Y-Wing. Wasn’t one of the Clone Bros’ main arguments before this clone extravaganza that those sets like those were remade too often. They’ve become the very thing they swore to destroy -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

With the reveal of the new Marvel busts I feel like Vader is a no brainer since they’d be able to incorporate his chest thingy. I think the new Book Nooks might come to SW, despite obviously never being based on the books. I reckon the Death Star Jump, Emperor’s throne room, duel of the fates, battle of the heroes, geonosis factory, etc… would all make good book nooks. I hope dioramas aren’t done. If we can’t get a ISD bridge diorama then the entire sub theme was pointless for me. MIDI scale capital ships that are left (I don’t think anything smaller works that well): Lucrehulk, Munificent, Recusant, Venator, Interdictor, Profundity, ISD, Victory, MC85, Hammerhead Corvette, Light Cruiser, Resurgent, Dreadnought, Supremacy, Malevolence, Eclipse, Nebulon B. I wouldn’t mind SW Modular’s though. I reckon an imperial base series starting with a hangar and Endor bunker would be great. Battlepacks (£19.99) High Republic Jedi Knights: Human male, Human female, Wookiee and a Pantorran female. Naboo defence: 2 Naboo Security forces, 87th Sentinel Corps Assault and 87th Sentinel Corps Heavy. Crimson Dawn: 2 Maul Mandalorians, Pyke soldier and a Black Sun soldier Imperial Army: 2 Army Troopers, army trooper NCO and a stormtrooper Imperial Remnant: Incinerator Trooper, Scout Trooper and 2 stormtroopers. Imperial Excavators: 2 JFO Scout Troopers, stormtrooper Commander and an imperial jumptrooper. Jabba’s Goons: Weequay, Gran and 2 Gamorreans. CIS Soldiers: 2 Umbaran soliders, Nemoidian Guard and a Geonosian Warrior. New Republic Rangers: 2 New Republic soldiers, armoured New Republic soldier and a Navy Officer. Vader’s Fist: Purge Trooper, 2 501st Stormtroopers and a 501st Stormtrooper Commander Rogue Rebels: 4 assorted Rebels from the Rogue One Scarif team. Buildable characters now seem to be mandatory, so let’s have some which are at least interesting. Buildable Rancor (£69.99): Starkiller minifig included Buildable Zillo Beast (£69.99): Crosshair minifig included Buildable Jedha Jedi Statue (£69.99): Cere Junda and/ or Eno Cordova Empire Occupier Tank (£34.99): Stormtrooper Commander, Bix Calleen, Tank Trooper and a Stormtrooper. ITT (£59.99): Lieutenant Lyste, Ezra Bridger, 2 Combat drivers and a Stormtrooper Commander. Tie Reaper (£79.99): 2 Death Troopers, Krennic, Jyn Erso and a Tie Pilot. Tie Defender (£49.99): Thrawn, Captain Pellaeon, Sabine Wren and a Tie Baron Patrol Gunship (£59.99): JFO Scout Trooper, JFO Scout Trooper Commander, Purge Trooper (Kenobi), Jump Trooper and a Jump Trooper Commander. Rebels/ New Republic New Republic A-Wing (£34.99): Pilot, Hera and Navy officer B-Wing (£59.99): Crix Madine, Pilot, Mon Mothma and Lando. Hoth Defence (£49.99): Luke, Dak Ralter, 2 Rebel soldiers and a Snowtrooper. -

“Behold OT fans! This is your play-set for the year! Enjoy.” - Lego probably No. I believe that’s @THELEGOBATMAN on date night. (Crushing rebel scum is Dedra’s favourite past time) If the Galactic Marine set turns out to be just a bridge that would be an absolute waste of a set slot. I know I’ve been critical of the UT-AT actually warranting a set with its 2 seconds of screen time, but at least that’s a cool looking tank and would probably be understandable if this was a more balanced year for factions. -

This. Part of me is still holding out hope that Lego will pull a 2023 Executor (surprise set with no previous rumour or number) with a 3rd Andor set. I’ve basically given up hope on DC so I guess my hopium/ copium supply had to go somewhere. MaYBe ThE RtG sET Is ACtuAlLy a OCupiER or ItT?! GrEY VeHIclE mAtchES PrIcE pOiNt!! -

What Disney + series are currently in development? If we look at patterns, the next marvel CMF will be in 2027. And I doubt the TV shows this year will be in recent memory enough to get spots. -

Wait what? M&G might be doomed. It releases exactly 3 weeks after Doomsday so that will cannibalise a good number of ticket sales. They won’t be able to capitalise on May 4th hype. What is Disney doing?! Doomsday might be able to hold its own if they swapped the release dates around but M&G is in a worse position either way. -

This was the release slate Disney announced in 2023. A couple of months before SW celebration. I do admit that I couldn’t find an official confirmation for the NJO’s release date. I got these 2 mixed up. My apologies. But as @Mandalorianknight said, it was heavily but reasonably speculated that the NJO movie would take the 2025 slot since it was the only film announced at celebration which had some form of casting (Daisy Ridley coming on stage) and therefore we all assumed that it was rather far in development. It wasn’t. Isn’t that a decision KK would have made as president of Lucasfilm? -

Yes. It is weird. My personal theory is that after SW a celebration 2023, Lego allocated a few set numbers for the newly announced Rey movie which was supposed to release this year, and then awaited the for the needed concept art and character, vehicle and location details to be confirmed. These obviously never happened and the Rey movie is now evidently in development limbo whether Lucasfilm wants to admit or not. Early last year the Mando movie got a surprise announcement. Lego, having nada for a good number of last year’s supposed set numbers now had a pretty much guaranteed project to put those numbers to use. So they reallocated the Rey movie set numbers to the Mando movie’s. But that’s just a theory… a commando theory. We can’t rule out that there’s nothing in June. Many a SW project recently has received its first sets post initial release: JFO (BD-1), TBoBF, Kenobi, TBB… Granted none of those were movies. But I guess there’s a quasi-precedent. -
Rebooted, Skybound and the Oni trilogy are now around the same age the first seasons were when the 10th anniversary legacy sets hit. Also Zane was the only Ninja to get a remake of their Possesion vehicle.

DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
CloneCommando99 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
In my defence. I have nothing against normal Snyder fans. I myself enjoyed MoS and WW quite wholeheartedly despite their flaws. It’s just the most vocal group of them who display Eobard Thawne levels of pettiness toward James Gunn and the new DCU despite Superman not releasing yet. That group, rightfully dubbed “Snydercult,” are who it’s both hilarious and disturbing to watch get in a tizzy for no good reason and reveal themselves not to be comic fans in the slightest despite claiming to be so and that Gunn isn’t. I actually was thinking about this the other day. If Lego wants to capitalise on the Superman hype, they could do a Guy Gardner mech vs General Zod in January 2026. Since that’s where both GL and Superman now overlap in the character and villain department. (Guy was also in House of Braniac, albeit a background role so they could also do Braniac) It’s X-Mansion priced. Therefore we can expect 9-10 characters. I am definitely ruling out Robin now. -
