Great ideas. SW 2027 50th Anniversary ideas Right, so I know that before Lego’s never done something all that big for a SW anniversary bar the LSW anniversaries themselves, but I have a feeling that half a century is a pretty significant thing to commemorate. I’d also like to consider this a celebration of the franchise’s history rather then than just ANH. So here are my propositions: Sets for all widely well received media, a play-set and 18+ set for each main movie with one of either for the rest. (OT, PT, TCW, RO, TBB, Andor, Mando, Rebels…) 6 special 50th Anniversary Mcquarrie concept art figures in the main movie play-sets A 50th anniversary Ideas contest in 2026 Videogame CMF (see my previous posts) Exclusive George Lucas minifigure snuck in somewhere, perhaps even in the style of the chrome Vader. Bear in mind this list is excluding Starfighter as we know next to nothing except for literally me playing the main character. So without much further ado let’s get into it. Half of these are what I think would work well/ likely with current state of the theme, and the other half are things I’d like. OT ANH Millennium Falcon: Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, R2D2, C3P0, Chewbacca and Mcquarrie Concept Art Vader as 50th Anniversary figure. Mando S2/ RO/ Andor Imperial Battlepack: 2 Shore Troopers and 2 Stormtroopers (this is a three way pooled set so it can be additional) RO 12+ Zeta Class Shuttle: Cassian Andor, Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, K2S0, Baze Malbus, Chirrut Imwe and Director Orson Krennic (Milano scale) Ahsoka midi-scale Chimera (Ahsoka S2 sets will likely still be on shelves) Legends Z-95: Mara Jade, Jacen Solo and Jaina Solo That’s 22 sets + CMF and Ideas set, still leaving 3-4 set slots for Starfighter. I’d love to hear you guys’ thoughts on whether I cooked and this is a good idea for how 2027 should play out.

Day #64 Are we in the Eadu, Jedha or Ring of Kafrene stage of that leak process? You just know they’ve already considered it though.

Preferably DC CMF S2. But I’d settle for detailed versions of the characters who built this theme.

Day #63 of Tie Avengering We’ll probably have pics by Tuesday one way or another. I’m more interested in us getting 2026 set news from a more reliable source than JediBricks. And what the Cobb Vanth/ boba set actually is.

2027 is also when Starfighter is supposed to release. So the question is how many set slots will be actually available for 50th Anniversary play-sets if the current trend of 18+ and Buildables continues. I concur. At least a set based off each PT and OT movie would be good. And maybe even some space for the more well liked of post 2010 content (TCW, Rebels, Rogue One, Andor, Battlefront, Mando, maybe even a Jedi set since the 3rd game will likely release that year.) We need people to draw the line somewhere. Otherwise Lego will continue to raise prices like this since they don’t think there will be consequences. I sure hope those who are planning to army build 327th are at least patient and wait for them to go on sale.

Buzz Lightyear to Eurobricks Command. Come in, Eurobricks Command. Eurobricks Command, come in. Do you read me? Why don't they answer? My Tie Avenger! Blast! This will take months to release. Buzz Lightyear mission log, star date 4-0-7-2. My Tie Avenger has run off course en route to summer 2025. (Day #62 of asking Lego for a Tie Avenger in 2026) Maybe Lego will treat us and add Ralph McQuarrie’s concept art of characters as anniversary figures. Or better yet, they do a D&D 50th and make a fan competition Ideas set and CMF. (Video games or Books are ripe for a CMF) However, there would preferably be some rules regarding the ideas competition having to be something not as well covered before by Lego since otherwise there would be a lot of clone wars brigading instead of us getting something truly unique as a celebration of 50 years of SW.

“Joy will not announce its arrival”- Perrin Fertha But I can sure as mustafar ask for it. (Day #61 of lobbying for a Tie Avenger like Perrin for a party) Ah yes. One of the more needed imperial vehicles due to it being in both Mando and Kenobi. Right up there with: Tie Avenger, Tie Reaper, Tie Defender remake, ISB Tactical Shuttle, Zeta Class Shuttle, ITT, AT ACT, AT DP remake, and a patrol gunship. Though I’d argue the ITT is more in dire need of a set than the assault lander just by pure screen time. I’m pretty sure empire’s got a larger backlog of undone vehicles than clones at this point. I personally am expecting: Urban, imperial, Christmas, clone trooper and gold variants before the next normal variant as well.

Excellent (day #60) As a DC fan I know this better than most. I just want a win man. *huffs rhydo* Are you sure? You had us in the first half… Bingo. Lol. Forgive me. But from what I understand the Writers’ biggest problem for season 7 and 8 was that they’d run out of books to use as source material? The Boba/ Cobb Vanth helmet is an intriguing development. Either Lego’s started doing exclusive figures for busts or we’re getting some Mandalorian legacy sets as @Swordy logically suggests. If the latter, I hope an ITT from S1 is on the cards.

Never! Day #59 of Tie Avenger crusading! 😃 I guess. I mean I started watching GoT a couple of weeks ago since some of my Andor loving friends recommended it. (It’s so peak so far) But even I’ve seen the memes of season 8. I more meant that the Clone Bros are the Lannisters. Mentally ill Individuals with large amounts of cash who want complete control over the 7 subthemes. Whilst we, honourable heralds of set balancing and the Tie Avenger, are the Starks who swear to keep the faith of the old theme. And the White Walkers are the Buildable characters for obvious reasons.

And related to the previous note You could say that the entire theme has become a…. Game of Clones I’m torn. On the one hand LSW sucks right now. On the other we wouldn’t have gotten TCW, Andor, BF2, etc… Yet no Tie Avenger, Tie Reaper, Shore Trooper BP, Rebel Battlepack, Fondor, etc... smh. More budget towards my imperial base I guess. Though I’m not happy about the lack of garrison opportunities.

Good news everyone. It appears we will be getting an Absolute set in 2027. Can’t wait for Lego ideas absolute Killer Cr… I mean Godzilla. Dear Lego,if you are so insistent on doing purely Batman minifigures and doing buildable characters, I have a proposition for you: God the Absolute and Ultimate universes are so peak.

Fingers crossed we get reliable 2026 set news regarding a Tie Avenger over the next week. (Day #57) Some YouTube channel named Drew Bricks is claiming to have seen rumours about a Y-Wing and Imperial tank that isn’t the AT AT next year. They’re most likely fake but it’s annoying that it actually sounds like a good duo of sets.

🤣 can’t wait for the Ghorman collection next year. Clone Bros, are these your goats? Another chance we have are Luthen and Kleya backstory sets since the firing squad use DC15’s. I smell heresy. The Tie Avenger will come if true believers persevere! Day #56 of our noble crusade.

Weekend Ghost Whip is mine. Which is weird because I only listen to it once a fortnight while Invisible, We Built This City, and Feel It are played all the time.

They have until January 2027. If it’s still not there then… 1807. Or I just keep asking until the end of time. It’s not like Lego can ignore the only Disney + show that actually gained popularity overtime as episodes released and is widely acclaimed by fans and critics right? (Day #54 of asking for a Tie Avenger) Seeing as we haven’t had any un-named Rebel Endor commandos since 2015 either (or non fleet trooper rebels all together since 2017)… perhaps it’s due to Lego suddenly deciding that their camouflage is too reminiscent of real life soldiers. I will not stop until I get what I want. Simple as that. Thanks. I’m glad you enjoy them and don’t find them annoying. That possibility becomes more and more likely with each passing day there’s no 2026 news which excites me that much.
