And an Army Trooper BP, and a ISB Tactical shuttle. Season 2 has so much set potential that it’s a real shame. (Day #44 of asking for Lego to make a Tie Avenger)

Perfect opportunity for a 2013 Geonosis style Battle of Jakku or Endor wave. So according to Tony Gilroy, Star Wars is supposedly done with streaming after Ahsoka Season 2. What does that mean for the future of LSW? Will we get more sets based off movies?

The Aslume isn’t here anymore. It’s flown away… it’s everywhere now. (SW, Marvel, DC… we’re all suffering from a lack of coverage of new content and fixation on one brand of characters) Day #43 of my noble crusade. Wedge, Norra, Kleya, Melshi, Cassian, Jyn, Cal, Kanan, Bix, Sato, Baze, Chirrut, Cere, Kallus, Zeb, Ezra, Mon, Bodhi, K2S0, Saw, Luthen, Vel, Tech, Nemik… They all sacrificed more for the rebellion than fraud Solo ever did. Yet where are their medals and dozens of minifigs? /s So many cool rebel characters who will unfortunately never get made or remade. It honestly saddens me. Especially seeing how we can’t get the main characters of some SW movies, shows and books over Glup Shitto clone commanders who have max 5 seconds of screen time.

Where have all the good sets gone and where are all the dioramas? Where's the streetwise Wedge Antilles to fight the risin' odds? Isn't there a Rebel Commando upon a flash speeder? If the Clone Bros bite on the overpriced sets this year… I’d say anything is on the table (which may have some positives) including off the top of my head: AT XT Falchion Tank Republic Attack Shuttle (I would be interested in this one ngl) Republic Y-Wing Republic Snowspeeder AV-7 Anti-vehicle cannon Z-95 Headhunter Police Gunship (please no, this should go to the empire) UT-AT SPHAT AT OT Minifig scale swamp speeder Dropship Named 501st (Jesse, Kix, etc..) Delta Squad 442nd, 91st, 104th, 13th… Glup Shitto Commanders And then they could repeat the process with remakes or milk the kriff out of P1. I sure do hope that the Clone Bros do have some sense of self control this year and at least wait for sales. If Lego gets the idea that Clones sell better than everything else, it’s game over for the theme. Thankfully some reliable sources on Bricktap are reporting that the U-Wing is selling exceptionally well this year. In Europe particularly. (Tie Avenger And/Or (ANDOR?!!) more Rogue One sets incoming?) They’ll work better on stormtroopers since the helmet’s chin will hide the neck bracket. Same man. The 2HY of 2026 better deliver for OT/ Empire era fans, like they have for TCW fans this year. (Though you probably won’t catch us complaining as much)

Sets actually look a lot better than I was expecting. The Turbo Tank and MTT do look like solid £100-110 sets. Figs are overall good. General Kenobi is just 🥵. I really hope he shows up in another set because the V-19 is one of my least favourite star fighter designs. Ewok was a waste of a set slot. And a horrific reminder that we somehow can’t just ignore JediBricks as a ‘leaker’. One minor nitpick which is going to make the Clone Bros insufferable: Bly doesn’t appear to have his torso stripe. The only exclusive about his figure is the helmet. That is not the laziness we want to accept in an already overpriced to heck set. I have friends everywhere. I hope so. This is a battle of the wills between me and Lego. And it’s therefore a good thing I’m a huge Green Lantern fanboy. /s

It somehow manages to strike a good balance between normal Star Wars, the Lego Movie’s charm and a Minecraft Movie’s meme fest. You know it. Day #40 of Tie Avenger praying.

Same here man. All Lego has to get me back aboard the hype train is for the January 2026 wave to consist of 3 specific sets: Tie Avenger, ISB Tactical Shuttle (Melshi and Kleya being included are non-negotiable) and Army Trooper Battlepack. Lies! Deception! Everyday more lies.

They never set foot anywhere near the Pearl in those uniforms though. But they would be cool, just work better with a Interceptor. Speaking of which, the current rumoured fig list works much better for the Interceptor than the Pearl imo.

Day #39 of Tie Avengering. Yeah. No one’s expecting something like Commander Keller. He’ll obviously be in next year’s Kashyyyk Swamp Speeder 🤪

If we’re getting a Tie Avenger it will have to probably be in 2026 or never. That’s why it should be the next one. Nothing to say the Tie Reaper or Defender couldn’t show up later in the year. It’s just that the Avenger is exclusively tied to Andor, whilst the Defender and Reaper have multiple mediums to keep it relevant. True. You know what I mean. I want it in Spring 2026 or ASAP, before Lego forgets Andor exists.

Yet you are still here? If Star Wars was truly dead then you’d either have to be completely disinterested in the brand, or refuse to consume new content. News flash: new Lego sets themselves, even OT ones, count as new content. And if you really wanted to send Disney a message for ‘killing’ SW then you’d just stop buying their products and letting them profit, including Lego. I disagree, but that’s a respectable opinion. I’d personally keep the canon and make some alterations to keep anything before Mando S3 and canonise the HttE trilogy. Day #38 of asking for the next Tie Fighter to be a Tie Avenger. Dank ferrik Next evolution of Lego’s strategy is… Buildable clone troopers. 10 buildable clone troopers of different legions instead of play-sets a year. You may be suprised.

Well, 5 years old, the first time my father showed me ANH. I was taken in by the pure majesty of the universe. Cool soldiers, stunning spaceships, laser swords. Then Empire and ROTJ solidified my adoration. Followed by TCW and Prequels a few years later. And reaffirmed by Rogue One, Rebels and Battlefront. The plot thickened this decade with the Jedi Games, Andor, TCW S7, Crosshair parts of TBB, Mando S1-2 and when I finally read the Thrawn (HttE, Ascendancy and canon trilogies) and Aftermath books. Lego has always been a constant in how I enjoy the SW brand as well. To say that Disney killed SW is just blatantly wrong imo. Sure, we’ve had some awful things. But I’ll be damned if we haven’t had some of the best SW content ever since 2013. Also Andor S2 pulled the ultimate redemption arc with the fandom after Acolyte (as seen with BF2 resurgence) We need an over ambitious leaker hunting Meero at Lego to accidentally get added to the Death Star group chat/ have all the files dumped on their desk. And before you know it FalconFan1414 and LegoMinecraftGoat are standing somewhere in the Caribbean embracing each other and the great beyond. Which then miraculously leads to some 6 year old named Luke kissing their sister and destroying their Dad’s Death Star 2 days after they’d finished building it. Huh. Good point. Lego’s backed themselves into an unnecessary corner now. Haven’t they? I’m not sure whether we’ll get any more sand-troopers now as they’d need a backpack/ pauldron combo. Behold! Wow. Can’t wait for Lego to ignore the most blatantly obvious movie to make sets for. Somehow Dick is in Tim’s suit and Jason is in Damian’s suit.

We haven’t seen the pauldron from the back yet. Maybe Lego’s been smart and considerate of future uses and placed a stud on the back to accommodate future backpacks. It would also help the stability of the pauldron on the fig and stop it from spinning around if the head’s loose. This one was a Maul prediction megabluck. I didn’t get any of these. Sigh Nice likely list. But Lego’s really unpredictable nowadays. Another Maul prediction!

The new pauldron is going to work spectacularly well with the current stormtrooper helmet. The helmet’s chin is going to cover up the neck bracket.
