Yeah it’s not like in the OT Vader is actively seen executing imperial officers for making stupid mistakes. And some gunnery officers decided not to shoot an escape pod that came out of the hostile ship despite being given orders to do so. Oh wait. Imperial incompetence has always been a running theme in SW. Empire is still my favourite faction though. I always assumed that was because the storm was blocking the communications and radar. Kinda makes sense for a black-site research facility as no one can detect it, even Bodhi had to give manual directions instead of precise coordinates. But of course it’s a double edged sword. This is further suggested by Galen giving a physical message to Bodhi instead of transmitting it directly to Saw and Krennic going to investigate in person. Didn’t the turbo lasers on the Eadu installation take out half the rebel squadron that was sent in? I’d call that pretty effective air defence. Also I’m pretty sure all the rebel starfighters that made it to Scariff’s surface were shot down before the Death Star even arrived. Thank you! This is pretty much what I was trying to say. Same. Though I wonder if Hasbro would let lego use their Christmas trooper designs. As for downsizing. I’d say it’s relative to the vehicle currently. A-Wings AT-RTs and Jedi Starfighters need to be smaller. Things like shuttles in general (bar the LAAT) need to be bigger. All other starfighters I think are fine as they are.

You do know that Kathleen and Dave worked at Lucasfilm years before the acquisition right? They were literally handpicked by George. Look, I used to think like this too. But then I started looking at which content creators were actually criticising these things and what else they were criticising. They tend to be the same people who complained about bricks and screws in Andor, fire in space in the Acolyte (despite the Death Star itself having a massive exothermic explosion) (don’t get me wrong it is a terrible show), a real life gun being used in Andor, and even Ewoks existing if you go far back enough in the fanbase’s history. And don’t get me started on the “SW was never political crowd” George was literally inspired by the Vietnam war (which he was writing ANH during) and Bush’s push for emergency powers in RoTS. A lot of them are nit picky people who hold SW to a standard it’s never met because of their nostalgia. There’s also nothing wrong with adding more diversity. If you want to appeal to international markets and both genders it’s just common business logic. The problem is when it’s focused on and forced in at the expense of the story and writing (cough Reva cough) These days I just look at the good things (Andor, JFO, JS, Rebels, TBB, TCWS7, Mando S1-2 Rogue One, Squadrons, both Thrawn trilogies, Tarkin novel and the Aftermath trilogy) casually enjoy Kenobi, TFA and Ahsoka as they have their moments and ignore the abysmal bantha poop that are Acolyte, TBoBF and TROS. Of course this is all subjective. Overall it’s all subjective and dependent on each individual’s POV and preference. My father for one hates the prequels and animation but loves the sequels, I am the opposite, but we both agree on Andor and Rogue One being great. Like they say: one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure. The bait is strong with this one. Maybe you’re right. Maybe SW does need a little break from the big and little screens. But may I remind ya’ll that if SW goes away for a while it might lose all relevance, since you guys so eagerly point out that the Sequels didn’t create many new fans among kids. If SW isn’t kept relevant by new content so it can be introduced by new people, we face the risk of the fanbase gradually withering away since even established fans will have less to keep invested. Do you really wish to see future generations not be SW fans because of a few mediocre movies? Either way. Let the video games still remain operational. Jedi games, squadrons and BF2 are proof that Disney can cook in the video game department. TandN said earlier that a Christmas tie fighter is coming. That would be cool. But I don’t know the difference between reality and fiction on this accursed day.

I reckon there’s a chance of the Death Star fig list and, if there’s one, a Lego exclusive in October getting leaked tomorrow. On April 1st last year we got the sail barge fig list. And famously the year before we got the September wave and UCS Venator info. I am expecting a U-Wing reveal though.

We literally have footage. None of the cancelled films even got that far.

Those have already been confirmed for 2026. The delay suggests they are Mando Movie sets. The Avenger, Reaper and Defender are my most wanted Tie models. Scratch that, Starfighters. The only other things I want for the Empire are an ITT, decent (as in versatile unit like Army Troopers or Stormtroopers) battlepack and a patrol gunship (this one is optional if the Reaper gets made)

If it’s not a UT-AT I can see the following options (since otherwise the price point just doesn’t work for a fighter tank with galactic marines) A set with red guards (Palpatine throne room, Yoda vs Palpatine senate duel) A set with red troopers (Sith troopers, shock troopers, etc) Big grey vehicle (needle in a haystack of options) But this irregularity gives me one thing: Unless the set number and prices have been mixed up with the RTG set.

Speaking of Endgame time travel suits… we’re still yet to get one with the movie accurate helmet.

Seriously. At least the escape pod is a versatile build for normal clones and even imperial with a colour swap.

He was also in the 2016 Vader’s Tie vs A-Wing I do wonder if the next Battlepack next year will be a imperial battlepack. The UCS AT AT was followed by the Snowtrooper BP The UCS Venator was followed by the Clone vs Droid BP Recently it appears that faction UCS ships are shortly followed by a Battlepack corresponding to that faction.

Wow. Nice one. Which panels will you be attending? The Mando movie panel? SW animation panel? Respawn’s upcoming strategy game panel? How many Death Star figs do you guys reckon will be kept exclusive? They can’t lock a literal main character like Krennic behind that paywall. Can they? Ministry of silly hats and other officers (bar Tarkin and Jerjerrod) I think are fair game though.

Judging by the way she’s clutching her throat… yeah I’m not sure whether you want to do that . Yes. But a lot of Mando sets won’t be OT overlap sets as well.

Oh phew. I’d thought you’d lost the plot. Took me a minute. Wow. I love all these sound of all these characters. I love how the creative the lore is whilst fitting with the Legends continuity. Ngl I love the sound of a Mudhorn Company series. Each character has an interesting back story and could work really well in the style of Creature Commandos. Wait a minute. You’ve got a Sniper, Demolitions, Heavy, Soldier, Engineer… move over Bad Batch there’s a new Star Wars TF2 equivalent in town. (Jokes aside, fascinating character concepts)

My thoughts… Night Trooper BP: Excellent figs, mid build (I don’t hate it. I just think the sides are too flat. But I do like how the troop holders are reminiscent of the 2015 ITT BP build) I hope we can get some normal Death Troopers in a set soon (Rogue One 10th Anniversary Tie Reaper! Please Lego, I beg you) Plo Koon Microfighter: Perfect 10/10 microfighter. Both the minifig and build are excellent and well detailed when considering the size of the set. Maul Mech: It’s alright i guess. But having a shirtless chest plate when the minifigure isn’t that variant is an odd choice. There should also be a 2nd figure like the superhero ones. 327th BP: Inexcusable. The AT RT colour neither is canon or looks good. The spider droid is too squished. Come on Clone Bros. If this is what you truly want from the theme, buy it! I dare you. Let it be widely known that you are the reason for horrendously designed and priced sets selling well and being acceptable. (Bacta reference is cool though) It’s a battlefront rocket launcher I believe. Yet we’re not even getting an Avenger. I know I’m beating a dead horse but this year is excruciatingly miserable for me (Lego-wise) What makes it even more crazy is that the ITT has actual plot significance in many Rebels episodes. Whilst the UT-AT not only just appears to be blown up within 4 seconds, but could have easily been subbed out for an AT TE there would be no difference to the plot or scene.

I like this one a lot. I don’t know why /s I love the sound of all your OCs. I reckon they’d make one hell of a franchise. I especially like how you’ve carefully thought each character through. I’d be interested to hear your SW ones,

Oh yeah. This gonna be peak. (New poster) Wait. Are those Occupier Tanks, Range Troopers and a new Imperial Shuttle variant as well (seriously I compared the hull to the Sentinel and Lambda)?!! What the actual f*** Lego?! Literally the only things in this poster on shelves rn are the ISD and Tie Fighter. The only problem with this is that it’s been inconsistent. None of Kenobi, TBoBF or Andor S1 got sets released in the next year after they ended. That’s exactly what makes this even more infuriating. ITT especially is so overdue anyway. More fuel for the Aslume Just don’t bro. Whenever you make a joke about future sets you only tempt fate. (A Tower of Fate?)

New Andor trailer dropped. Love the aesthetic of the ISD klaxons throughout the trailer. Really highlights how this is documenting the beginning of the end for the Empire. But… seriously Lego? The U-Wing and K2S0 was the best you could do instead of another 50 clone sets?! I’m seeing: ITT, Gozanti, Tie Avenger, Fondor Haulcraft, Partisan X-Wing, Army Troopers, Stormtroopers… all of which would make great set potential compared to Season 1. Yet we’re somehow getting 3 different Republic Starfighter variants, and 10 different Clone variants (excluding multiples) instead.

Nice. I have nostalgia making my own SW characters from custom parts. And even some unreleased at the time established characters. (I made a custom Fives in 2013 using the 501st trooper and Shredder’s neck bracket) Makes perfect sense. I currently have a few OC NCOs in my 501st and 212th units.

Nope. Childish is saying the May 4th Promo is the escape pod from the Boba arc, with Clone cadets. Actually pretty neat ngl. And we have a winner! I wish pick a brick qualified on May 4th. I might have to see if any of my friends have any SW sets they want.

When I said I wanted Clone Cadets (6 months ago) I meant Domino Squad in training armour Lego!!!
