The Pop star hair I think is pretty close, though a little too perfectly symmetrical. Additionally I think the movie Wonder Woman hair is pretty close too.

It almost looks like Will's bed has a cloth blanket. Joyce's hair I think should have been a little darker. And it's funny they used that hairpiece for Eleven when there's actually an existing hairpiece exactly in the style of the wig she wears. Overall I really love it and I think this will be a day 1 purchase for me. I hope we get more sets in the future.

Thanks for the info! I'm glad they're releasing those legs in so many colors.

@legoSDR Do all the kids use medium legs?

Yeah, it's definitely no coincidence that the season where he started hanging out with the core child characters is the same season he started getting more merchandising. His likeability went way up and he's much more of a marketable character now. Nancy and Jonathon's part of the show is often a bit detached from the other core characters and their role often focuses around gathering clues or going through personal drama, as a result they're a tougher sell as toys. I hope we do get them all down the line, but I'm glad Lego made the choices they made for this set, so far.

Or it could be that those 3 characters are pretty much the C story in season 1 and the designer wanted to focus on the more important characters. As much as I like those characters, their story takes nearly all season long to finally merge into the main story (and up until then it's mostly teen drama) and Steve isn't even likeable until the end of the season. I mean, even in the regular merchandising I don't see those three as much as the other characters. I think it makes sense not including them for a season 1 set. Honestly, I'd take Barb over any of those three. #JusticeForBarb

I saw that too. There's been some Jurassic Park leaks for the D2C, it could possibly just be a new head variant for Ellie.

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
strangely replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, the sets represent the movie very little, in fact barely at all. I truly hope there's another wave or a D2C to make things right. I can't believe the Quinjet got a set this time around, since it's basically not in the movie (unless sitting in the background of a shot counts I guess). The only set I think actually sort of represents the movie is the Avengers compound, which is sad since that set is pretty plain by itself. While seeing the movie did hurt my opinion of the sets, at the same time, I can't be mad at Lego. I am really betting Marvel gave them almost nothing to go on when making these sets, so really this was probably as good as it was getting. Side-note: I will definitely be using the new braided bun hairpiece from the City Fairground set for Shuri. I'd also like to believe the introduction of this piece might hint at her popping up in a set again sometime soon. -
I just get tired of all of this pearl clutching about this or that being 'too adult' for Lego. Indiana Jones routinely involves villains melting, disintegrating, and being eaten alive by ants, plus there's that temple where people have their hearts ripped out in ritual sacrifice while children are used for slave labor and people are hypnotized by the forced ingestion of blood. Revenge of the Sith features countless people being murdered in cold blood, including children and to top it off we get to see a man burnt alive and then his wife dies in childbirth. Lone Ranger features a ton of gun violence, a guy getting his head crushed by a crate, and quite a few prostitutes not to mention a heart devouring cannibal. The Crimes of Grindelwald features literal baby murder, as well as baby drowning. Batman V. Superman features Batman mowing people down in the Batmobile and sending people through walls. Then there's the terrorist actions of Zod in Man of Steel (I mean the destruction of Metropolis invokes 9/11 imagery), then the subsequent neck snap. Jurassic World features a guy being chomped by the Indominus and it rains blood from above and then you have Claire's secretary who gets brutally killed, to say nothing of the countless times people get torn apart or eaten in any other Jurassic Park movie. Why is Stranger Things suddenly the straw that broke the camels back? I mean, what does it feature that we haven't seen in any of those other franchises Lego chose to adapt into sets? At the end of the day, standards change. Lego is constantly moving the line for what's acceptable and what's not. It's getting ridiculous that they can have a Die Hard minifigure featured in a Lego movie, but not in a physical set. These rules are just arbitrary at this point.

In America it's TV-14, same as the Big Bang Theory. Honestly, even by movie standards it's basically a TV version of the movie Super 8. I'll admit season 2 got a little more gory, but it basically just tips into Jurassic Park territory.

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

I heavily suspect we'll get one soon. Between there being a classic set unrevealed and the dino mech being colored like the Explorer, I really suspect we'll see one this year. -
Pretty impressive wave I'll admit. The restaurant is easily the standout. I like the new shopping cart piece, hopefully we'll see that recolored at some point.

I had hoped that in seeing the final product, that I'd be okay with Hermione's face, but unfortunately I hate it more than I did when it leaked. I get that they had to reuse heads because of the budget, but honestly, it just doesn't work. It makes her look too young, which when paired with Viktor Krum makes it look like he's taking a child to the dance... I'll definitely be swapping the head out. I can live with all of the other head reuses, oddly enough. I love the texture in the builds, it really makes these locations spring to life. All the new arch pieces are used brilliantly. I love pretty much everything about the clocktowers design. The rooms feel better designed this time around too, not as cramped as usual. The tent design is pretty poor though, doesn't look much like a tent. The new pumpkin are awesome! Plus a golden egg! Knight Bus is average! Don't care for it! So close Lego, you almost went an entire wave without including a vehicle. Can't wait to see the Advent Calendar!

Not sure why people don't like Hermione's dress. If it had been a slope piece it would have been the exact same print except the darkest pink layer would disappear on the sides, plus it's inconsistent with Hermione's height in the rest of the wave. Honestly this solution really pleases me, they actually got to portray the multiple shades of color correctly on the dress. Printing on the back would have been nice, but they barely do that even on proper slope bricks.

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion

I imagine it will be the Fantasyland/Magic Kingdom train with the iconic train station. But I think I would actually prefer it be Big Thunder Mountain. A roller coaster train set is more appealing to me than yet another Lego railroad. Hopefully there's some amazing minifigures. Goofy would be great, but I also would like to see Cinderella or any of the princesses for that matter. I liked Disney castle, but populating it with mostly variants of characters and then including only 1 new character was pretty lame. If they want me to keep spending $300 on these things, I need better minifigures included.- 961 replies

Maybe the set will be like the giant Hoth set from the Star Wars theme, a combo of various scenes. I am hoping for 'survivor' versions of the other 4 main characters. Muldoon and Gennaro would be great too. Ultimately I'm just happy they went with a JP set and not another JW one. -

Yeah, that's Ian after he was injured. -
If Ron and Harry are using mid-legs than I fully expect Hermione to be at the same height. I imagine they'll just print the design on a pair of mid-legs, which wouldn't be too bad actually.

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion

I don't think it's possible for the legs to be triple molded given the coloring on the top of the feet, but perhaps Lego has mastered the art of printing on all sides. Love all the new hats. The top hat is great. It gives us more options for hairpieces that have the peg connection hole. I hate the lack of hair on the regular top hat, so being able to connect it to a hair piece is great.- 961 replies

Futurama takes place in the distant future in a sci fi world. So I see Benders drinking as no different than drinking in the Pirates franchise or even Star Wars.

Um... Jack Sparrow. To say nothing of Johnny Depp's real life behavior...

Maybe Lego will just surprise us with a new medium dress piece.

I'd say I'm disappointed, but mostly I'm amused. The box art is pretty hilarious. I love that the play features in the compound set includes Tony having a staff meeting, Nebula using a door and Tony picking up a welding torch (There's nothing to weld Tony). Then on the front of these boxes there's art of the heroes in costumes we mostly didn't get. Yes, nothings more taunting than putting pictures of what you wanted on the box, but including nothing inside the box that represents it. It amazes me how this turned out to be a Monkey's Paw scenario. We wish for accurate helmets for Cap and Ant-man, much sought after Iron Man variants and the Avengers compound. But in return every character has the same torso, we're given multiple bike builds, yet another Quinjet and the most phoned in variations of Thanos and Hulk imaginable. And this happens with the ultimate culmination of the Marvel movies. Again, I'd say I'm disappointed, but mostly I'm amused.
