  1. Added brick-bulit sails. Now the ship looks slightly better, IMHO.
  2. DC is dead already, yet we discuss ways to reanimate the corpse? Oh boy... Who guarantees that TLG will actually listen to our suggestions and speculations? No one...
  3. I liked redcoats since watching the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. In addition to our 31109 Creator Pirate ship, I wanted to build a decent redcoat ship. After building 14 cannons, I chose the 1775 HMS Kingfisher as the basis for my future MOC, willing to recreate it as accurately as possible. Sadly, I didn't (and still don't) have enough parts to build a decent model of this ship - I need a lot of tan slopes for that. Acquiring the Star Wars 75365 Yavin fortress would've partially solved the problem, but I'm yet to collect enough money... Anyway, madness struck me, and I decided to build something slightly resembling a British ship instead, until I'll have enough tan slopes. And I built THIS. The fat bastard, the big disgrace. Yes, its rear is nice, and the front is not bad, but the rest is horrible, especially the hull - straight, square and crude, since i didn't have enough curved parts. I tried my best to turn it into something acceptable, but all I got was a silly toy. Here it is: As you can see, the build lacks sails and rigging, but I'll solve this problem soon. I understand nothing in XVIII century sail ships, and, as I said, my original plan was to recreate the 1775 HMS Kingfisher very faithfully using paintings and technical drawings. I can't do this right now, but I promise to do it as soon as I have enough parts needed. I don't have enough tan slopes and curves to make the hull. Is there any way I could improve my ugly build? I am open for suggestions, if you have any.
  4. If TLG realised a Ninjago city-esque modular BTAS/TNBA Gotham city, I would acquire it, no matter how expensive it would be. That would've been a great decision!
  5. Maximally unpopular opinion: I love stickers! You can stick them wherever you want. You can cut nice little bits out of stickers and customise minifigures. But it's just me thinking...
  6. I now think you were right that time... Harvey Bullock is now my second minifigure to have a part, painted with Mr. Hobby - his fedora hat is now the exact same colour as TLG's dark bluish grey! TLG didn't produce this fedora in that colour, so I had to! Also, Robin and Batgirl have new, more narrow capes.
  7. I replaced Barbara Gordon's previous hairpiece with Anna's from Frozen 2. Please let me know what you think of it: does it work better for her or worse? Noir Batgirl is from Batman Beyond: return of the Joker flashback.
  8. Black-eyed Joker! Aaah!!! Looks like they had cursed TNBA Joker in mind...
  9. I saw it!!! Oh my I am disappointed with the minifigure section!!! If Harley is indeed included in the Batmobile set, along with Mr. Freeze, there is no sense to purchase this set for me personally. ... But it's beautiful, and the minifigures are nice. It's just not for me. Too bad... On the bright side, it's expensive, so my money will stay with me!
  10. Maybe if the now good MCU turns bad, it would be not only beneficial to Lego DC, but they will realise sets directly based on new Spider-Verse animated movies? Or it wouldn't benefit DC at all?
  11. Oh man this Bat-family extended itself!.. I know some like the idea, but for me it's too much... BTW, how about a set based on the "Wayne family adventures" webcomic? Isn't it a good idea?
  12. Yes, that's right. I just feel sorry for DC... They failed creating their own cinematic universe, so here it is... TLG doesn't really care about good old classics...
  13. It seems to me that TLG treats Marvel better than DC. More different, better detailed minifigures with unique moulds, bigger and better quality sets, more small sets...
  14. One of the best pirate ship MOC's I've ever seen. Awesome!
  15. I am glad for you. But, speaking of me, if I MOCed a Batcave, it would've been the TNBA one. I could do it without the Box. I agree that the Box is a great set. But it's not for everyone... There are lots of Lego sets that aren't for everyone. And it's sad they decided to retire the Box. Sad, but explainable...
  16. It's worth, but only for Batman Returns fans. I think it's safe to claim there aren't many of them. Totally agree on Rivendell, though I am not interested in acquiring it
  17. Batman Returns isn't very popular. This Box is too expensive. That's it
  18. This is an example of what you can achieve with so little parts. Great job!
  19. Magnificent! Love that build.
  20. Thanks for correcting my mistake. I apologise for this outrage TBH, I think the set was cancelled Since there is no information on the subject Or it would probably emerge on lego.com first...
  21. This image is in the internet for long, and it's by no means the finished product, yet it may be helpful to some..
  22. If well handled, it could save the DC universe. IF... BTW, concept arts for the show have leaked. They may be fake, but still...
  23. DC animated 'cause it's based on the DCAU
