  1. This is also a good decision! Though I used light tan on mine: ... But in TNBA, Bullock wears dark grey, and his fedora is relatively small, so I think the Detective's hat would do the job.
  2. Thanks! ... And I haven't done Harvey Bullock yet. I just need to get my hands on the new Noir Detective's hat...
  3. These designs are indeed very beautiful. Too bad we'll never see them in physical form... If Lego realised something like that, I would have bought them all!
  4. Marvels here, Marvels there... New characters, who appeared only in one issue of the "Adventures in the DC universe" comic - Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel jr. Although it's not well visible on this photo, Batgirl's hair is painted with exactly the same colour as TLG's dark orange - and it's AWESOME!!!
  5. Thank you so much! But, sadly, I only painted one part - Batgirl's cowl (BTW, I recently repainted it with a colour which matches TLG's dark orange almost perfectly, and it looks fantastic!! Because before I accidentally had some small bits unpainted ). The rest of the minifigures are customised with small cut-out stickers. It's hard, but looks nice and is reversible
  6. The Aslyme is back! Watch out for the Man and Jonkler in their new film "Ham city"!
  7. I would've been happy about anything new, concerning Lego DC. CMF? Even better
  8. *Your entry has earned 16 XP (S:6, T:4, A:6) + 4 bonus XP for a total of 20XP Somewhere, {relatively} not far from Pavo Prime... Captain Brandei of the Star Destroyer Judicator, who was tasked by Commissar Rax to transfer some precious Sith artifacts, rescued from the Imperial palace on Coruscant, on board of the Galactic Empire, flew his Lambda shuttle through hyperspace. The planet Pavo Prime was in three minutes of lightspeed travel. ... Suddenly, the shuttle dropped out of hyperspace. There were no planets seen anywhere - only black space around. - What is going on? - captain Brandei asked the pilots. - I don't know, sir, - on of them answered, - I'll try it again... But nothing happened. The shuttle didn't jump to lightspeed at all! - Jar Jar! Did you do anything to the hyperdrive? - the captain shouted in the back of the shuttle. - Nopsa! Mesa not dosa any dodosa back there! - the Gungan answered, - Mesa just talked to TKsas about Palpy... - That's not good, - Brandei said, - contact the Commissar immediately! And keep trying to jump to lightspeed! - Captain Brandei, this is Commissar Rax - the transmission said, - I hope you've got something serious there, because I'm dealing with a pirate problem at the moment... - The hyperdrive is malfunctioning, Comrade the Political Director! We've tried to jump to lightspeed, but all in vain. Jar Jar claims he didn't touch anything. - Then it's impossible that the hyperdrive is malfunctioning by itself, - the Commissar answered, - try looking around you. Is there any gravity well source out there? - No, Comrade the Political Director. Only... - Brandei wanted to say 'space', but was suddenly interrupted by a pilot: - Sir! Unknown device spotted in sector 2-7! - It's an artificial gravity well projector! - Accelerate to attack speed, - Rax ordered, - and try to get out of it's range as soon as possible! - Copy that, - the captain answered, - you said you were dealing with pirates? - Send me your coordinates, captain, I am going to send a Star Destroyer to your position in case you'll be under attack. - Copy, Comrade the Political Director, - Brandei said, - you heard him! Accelerate! We must get out of the device's range before the pirates arrive!.. Below: Commissar Rax and the shuttle crew. The shuttle was transporting an ancient golden Sith sword, an unique bust of Emperor Palpatine and a collection of Sith lightsabers.
  9. I would love a DCAU CMF series. I really think it would have been a great idea. Customising minifigures with stickers and Mr. Hobby is fun, but Lego would have done it better than me. As of Batwing, I have read the Wayne family adventures webcomic. It's nice, but I HATE the idea that the Batfamily has expanded THAT much. A legion of Bats! So personally, I don't care about these characters. But it's simply my HO. So never mind
  10. Lex Luthor - FINALLY! I initially didn't believe I could do it, but I succeeded. Though it doesn't look like much...
  11. FINALLY! I dared to paint a Lego part with Mr. Hobby! And now Batgirl's hair colour is almost screen-accurate! After acquiring a second Batgirl hairpiece, I decided to paint the first with Mr. Hobby paint using an airbrush. After mixing paints I got a colour similar to Lego's dark orange, but a little bit darker. I painted the hair by all modelling rules and am quite satisfied with the result! (Note: I shortened Barbara's skirt to look more faithful to the original, which may look inappropriate to some people; however, I believe it would be silly to assume that her legs are THAT short, so I think there is nothing obscene here; anyway, I agree that this decision is quite ambiguous). Here is a better view on the painted hair. I also corrected Amanda Waller's torso: Hope you like it!
  12. Wait, isn't the arctic Batsuit actually based on the 2004 series "The Batman", where he is fighting Mr. Freeze? Here is a clip from the series.
  13. UNPOPULAR OPINION: personally, I liked the Flash movie, though there are many inconsistencies and weird decisions (the idea that Flash's mom rescue would create a totally different Bruce Wayne is crazy, not to mention the Beatles' mention from the deleted scene). Nevertheless, it's enjoyable enough. I don't really care about the set not being realised, I'm just sad that the Joker minifigure head isn't as good as in the UCS set. P.S. : Would've LOVED the inclusion of a Heath Ledger Joker in an affordable set
  14. Supergirl is the only thing that makes me feel like it could be a fake. Yes, and this one too. TLG had better options than this, even though they don't always make good choices
  15. The Lego Batman miniatures game is dead - long live the TNBA board game! Characters' bases represent their combat power no more - everyone now has a base as small as possible. At the moment I have 24 Batman characters, including Bat-Mite (I don't know whether to include him in my game, since his appearance in the DCAU is quite ambiguous): Also there are 9 extra non-Batman characters: Also here are some game tools: combat damage markers (trans-yellow for stun, trans-red and -neon for injury), a Batarang range template and 4 move templates: Now I am going to write characters' cards (Batman card is ready).
  16. New characters here! Commissioner Jim Gordon, Mad Hatter, Amanda Waller and Kyle Rayner Green Lantern. I also made Hamilton Hill, Mayor of Gotham, but wasn't satisfied with the minifigure. Also here is a character not from the DCAU, but still - Vacation Joker from the Killing Joke comic: My custom DCAU minifigures are now going to be part of my Lego Batman board game
  17. Still think it would be an AWESOME set, if realised
  18. Does anyone think there is any chance we're going to get sets based on Knuckles? I don't think we will
  19. TBH, @cdavidc29 mentioned it's not the engine - it's the rear hexagonal window. I personally solved the problem without stickers on my TIE interceptor (but the cockpit design of my model is very different, though):
  20. This is possibly the best Lego TIE fighter... But the decision of using 4x4 dishes instead of 6x6 ones seems controversial to me. I think we need 5x5 dishes, which are yet to be realised by TLG... You did a great job redesigning @Jerac's model, and it looks MUCH BETTER than the original. Especially the solar panel struts, I've never seen such a beautiful decision before. Congratulations!
  21. The cutest Lego tractor I've seen yet! And it's so nicely done!
  22. This is gorgeous... But it's by no means an outpost or fortress - it's a palace! Yet beautiful.
