  1. The problem of the Wayne car is that it employs some techniques that are impossible to recreate in the real world, such as one part overlapping another. But if you intend to build it only digitally, it's no big deal
  2. One Superman set is not enough to stop the Aslume. Besides, Ledger's Joker from the upcoming Tumbler set doesn't have leg printing. While looking good on its own, the minifigure pales in comparison with the other two and cannot be considered a full-time solution
  3. Nice work! The size and dimensions of the Mouldy Crow are, as far as I remember, very ambiguous, varying from a medium starfighter to a large freighter. Here is an article on the subject.
  4. Why, thank you, but the problem is... I honestly didn't intend my model to be 'oldschool', just a decent, not super awesome, yet faithful recreation of the spacecraft. Maybe it was unintentional...
  5. Well, that's what I was thinking about. But if you say some...
  6. Congratulations, @MrWayne! You did an excellent job here!
  7. It is. And minifigure proportions are weird by default. Vehicles in 'minifigure scale' are too small to fit even one fig! That's why I use 1/32 scale, which isn't even close
  8. The jet booster was only seen in one TNBA episode and was covered by an edgy cap the rest of the time. I redesigned the Batmobile's rear end to reflect this:
  9. I didn't find anything on the Internet, so I tried myself, using Dr. Eggman's legs: I don't think it's a good solution - Vader is too tall now for my taste. Besides , his helmet already makes him taller than the other minifigures. But if you still want to try, I suggest crafting a long cape and a long 'skirt' for a better look out of black paper.
  10. I see. Well, it's just the solution I could think of back then. Studs are sometimes impossible to avoid, and the deficit of tiles is often my bane when building MOCs. Nevertheless, my build was utterly imperfect, and I had to redesign it a little. Despite the many problems, I think it's a decent model mow, albeit not the best-looking.
  11. The previous front landing gear leg was a disasterous disgrace! Redesigned it. Looks much better now, IMHO
  12. Remember "All-star Batman and Robin" where Batman painted himself, Robin and the room yellow to humiliate Green Lantern?
  13. Albeit a very advanced one. If so, it would explain so many things...
  14. It's complicated. Let's say I have much more parts than those who build digital MOCs, yet much less than those who build very large creations
  15. Thanks! Sadly, I have no intention of creating and posting instructions for those ships (though I may tro, starting with the TIE Defender). Studying the techniques of more experienced builders is a good way to study - and there are lots of designers that are far more advanced than me out there. Building out of a limited number of physical parts is also very helpful. I built all of my MOCs without designing a 3D model first or having a strict blueprint in my head - I created them on pure inspiration, starting with the parts of my future build that I imagined in my head, considering the pieces I have or can acquire now. It may not be the most rational way of MOCing, and I didn't build everything I wanted, but it's somehow reliable in some ways
  16. Why, thak you! But, yes, it's not my best-looking ship. My X-wing and TIE defender look much better, for example
  17. Why does Turtle not understand why Lego favours Marvel? Didn't he read our multiple posts here? Also, why does everyone think we'll be getting an Arkham? There is no solid evidence of this
  18. Of course we (at least, I) do! Isn't it the entire point - to show your progress? I am very curious now! Thanks! I will try... Speaking of non-Batman sets turned into Bat-vehicles, I just noticed a heavily modified jet plane from the Agents 8630 set. It's almost impossible to recognise. It's seen on the left in the 'Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic' scene. The Bat-Ekranoplane seen on the right, while hardly based on any set, is very interrsting
  19. I don't understand. Seriously, such parts didn't exist even in 1999. I know better-looking MOCs of the Y-wing exist, but I didn't know mine is that bad. I think my take on the engines is the problem - I couldn't think of a better solution...
