That would be assuming the scum all got vests from Stash, but as is clear from last night, they did not. The only scum we have evidence of having a vest is Sandy, and Stash himself can't even say whether any of the other scummies have a vest. I certainly don't expect anyone to assume my innocence, we can't assume the innocence of anyone. But I would hope my actions can speak for themselves. As far as I know, the only reason I have a vest is because I'm in constant conflict with the Mafia families in my capacity as the chief of police, so I was given a vest to protect me from them at night. But he isn't a danger anymore, as the only two people we know he has given vests to are myself and Sandy, and she is dead. I can understand your reasoning, but as we have no proof yet that Stash is protecting any other mafioso, and as killing him would severely hurt the town, I can't support a vote for him. And I especially can't support a vote for him when we have the bigger threat of Shaun still spreading his lies in our town. Right now, I believe strongly that taking out Shaun is the best decision this town can make. As I see it, a clear and simple choice.

If you had bothered to read all of the discussion today then you would have realised that we have absolutely no proof that this is true. Nothing. A scum was killed last night, so we know fora fact that he didn't have a vest. The only vets we know of currently are mine and Sandy's, and as Sandy is already dead, killing off Stash to remove vests is only going to affect the town, not the scum. Then we have the fact that no townies can kill at night, so it doesn't help us anyway! On the contrary, I don't see why it would be a good move to vote out someone who is not only helping to protect me from the scum, but has helped the town a lot in the past. The fact Stash has accused you of being scum certainly makes it interesting that you're so keen to see him gone, doesn't it? Doing nothing is the worst thing we could do right now. We must act, or we will make no progress and we will never b rid of the scum infestation. I have given you proof that Shaun is an anarchist bent on the destruction of our government, that he has the means to work with the scum to achieve this, and that he does not at all want to help the town. He is a neutral who favours the scum over the rest of us, so he must go. Why then do you hesitate? Killing him isn't going to have any negative effect on the town, he's a damn neutral, and a vile manipulating one at that. megablocks, you don't have any evidence other than the lies Shaun has whispered to you in private. The only reason you want him around is because you think he can protect you from guy who is out to avenge his family, the family you killed, but the fact is, he can't protect you at all. The fact that Shaun is the one who outed you to us and to the person trying to kill you makes it ludicrous that you would be defending him. We are so close to a conviction now, we just need a three more people to decide they want to save this town, rather than hand it over to the mob on a shiny platter. Taking out Shadows now will clear the air and allow us to focus on the scum tomorrow; keeping him will only lead to further conflict and splitting of the votes, like we are seeing today. His influence is heavy, and since he has to side with the scum to take out his targets and win, he will try to keep at least a couple of them alive at all costs. That isn't going to help us at all. As your police chief and as a loyal townie who is risking his life to clean out the filth, I urge those of you who haven't yet to vote for Shaun. Do the right thing, and you will all be relieved and glad tomorrow when I and my supporters are proved right.
-
But as we all know, there is only one scum boss left, and the only people who can kill at night are mobsters, so this doesn't help us at all. Plus it puts several townies at risk too; there could well be other townies out there like me who have vests too. Not only that, but there is no reason to kill you; we believe what you have to say, we aren't doubting what you claim, so why kill yourself? It seems very strange to me. Still going I see. *yawns*
-
As I said earlier, I will be all for killing off someone from Stash's list tomorrow, either Alice of def since they are both scum, but right now we are dealing with a threat just as notorious. Don't let his words sway you into doing nothing, that isn't going to solve anything. Voting Stash is pointless as we have already agreed, as is not voting at all, but voting off Shaun will achieve a positive outcome for the town and will eradicate a pest who has been working behind the scenes to use the mobsters for his own gain, namely killing townies.
-
Do you have a more suspicious person to suggest? Because in my opinion the neutral anarchist who is out to kill several townies sure is suspicious to me. We aren't doing this for the sake of a vote, we are doing to to make progress; doing nothing isn't going to get us anywhere. We have to act, and taking out someone who we know is out to gain from the deaths of innocent townies is positive action.
-
So you want to make sure he is convicted, but rather than reach a majority now you'd rather prolong the day unnecessarily and give him the chance to escape justice? Each to their own I guess... Lovely.
-
Which is why I'm so very happy I know I'm 100% right! I gave my promise people and I will hold to it, as I am a man of honour.
-
On the contrary it isn't done yet, we still need 3 more votes for a definite conviction. Otherwise a couple more people like you and we will have made no progress at all. There is no room for neutrality in this situation; you must choose your side and stick to it, my friend. I know it is tough and I know he lies well, but please, for the good of the town you must make a stand for justice. Evidence is always hard to come by in these games, we all know it, so you aren't going to get anymore. I respect that you don't want to make the wrong choice, but dong nothing now isn't going to save our town.
-
Not making a decision now and doing nothing isn't going to help us at all. Shaun is a liar and out to ruin this town, what more motivation for a vote do you need? He speaks well and sneakily tries to divert the blame, but if you let that get in the way of the truth, then we'll get absolutely nowhere and my sacrifice will have been for nothing.
-
Again, that is only speculation, we have no proof whatsoever that the godfathers have vests exclusively. The only vests we know of so far is the one Sandy had and the one I have. Even Stash doesn't know of any others. And as proved by the events of the first two nights, I have conclusive evidence that I am a loyal townie, which I most definitely am. Read back a few pages and you'll see where I carefully explained that.
-
Coward, be a man and stand up for the truth. It is a bit unclear considering the odd voting rules, but I believe now that we've got the minimum required vote you can't unvote. No matter though, my position is clear and Shaun's guilt is clear, so I know as the townies gradually trickle in here they will see the truth and vote against him. I have to be brief as duty calls, however I must say I am proud of those of you who are making a stand today against an anarchist and a lying manipulator; as you will see tomorrow, it will all pay off for the good of the town, kill me if it doesn't. There are a lot of lies, blatant fabrications and empty words flying around today that will try to confuse you people, but I urge you, stick to the facts, stick to the truth, and the town will triumph.
-
Hypocrite much? Let's face it, it's my word against yours here, except in my case I actually have the supporting evidence of several other people to back me up, and you have absolutely nothing. We can bandy words back and forth all day, but when it comes right down it, truth will always prevail in the face of your fabricated lies. Nobody is going to support you other than your Scum backers; you're done for Shaun. Your attempted reign of terror in this town is at an end. You can't defend yourself against a single point I've made so far, so you've been forced to resort to trying to ruin my good name with lie after lie. I'm glad to say, my town isn't stupid, we can see through your lies, and the with your conviction the truth will be revealed. I don't think you're scum, as I've said already; I know for a fact you are a scheming, manipulative neutral who will stop at nothing to ensure anarchy is brought to this town. You've sided with the scum before, you've betrayed them before, and you will do it all again to achieve your ultimate aims; it is clear you have no morals whatsoever. You cannot be trusted to help this town, and with your anarchist agenda you are a danger that must be stopped immediately. Notice the lack of support you have right now? Yeah, that's the sound of the lynch mob, preparing for your burning, witch. I find it hilarious you're trying to blame the methods of the voice in the sky on me, another feeble attempt at slandering my good name through baseless assertions and wild, desperate ploys. As much as I would like to stick around and continue pointing out all the flaws in this moron's story, I unfortunately have my police duties to attend to (that is, I need to sleep ), however I shall be back shortly to enjoy the burning that will come once the townsfolk have convicted this arrogant manipulator. I've said what needed to be said (several times now ), and the facts speak for themselves. My honour, my life, my badge, I pledge to the truth of my words. It is time for us to put a stop to Shaun once and for all, and give ourselves a fighting chance at taking down the few remaining mobsters.
-
It's funny you say that, because you've been trying to convince me since day 4 to help you get him lynched. And you're right, you haven't said it in public, because you're not that stupid, you do all your manipulating behind closed doors, as many here can testify to. As I've said previously people, all I have done so far has been in the interests of the town, and as many of you already know, I'm doing so again. I swear to you, if Shaun turns out to be anything other than what I tell you he is, lynch me right on the spot. His arguments are full of rash assertions and baseless speculation, and the holes are showing. I'm making a stand for my town, a stand for my people, putting my life on the line to see justice done. Once Shaun is gone we will be able to pick off the Mobsters with ease; with him here, he will continue to get in our way in his quest to enforce an anarchist state upon us by removing all forms of government. He's neutral and doesn't give a damn whether the town survives or not, as long as his goals are achieved. Hear me now people, if we do not deal with this Menace now then it will be too late to stop his spreading lies. I know you will make the right choice, townsfolk, we have done well so far and we shall not fail now in the face of his manipulate raving.

You didn't need to know ahead of time; you saw she had attacked you on night two and jumped at the opportunity to make a strategic move, not only killing off one of your quota but using her as a meatshield to fall back on later, as you are now, and to take control of the Night Watch. brilliant maneuver, but the truth is out now. If you actually bothered to read my earlier statements, you would see that her statement was only the final clinching evidence in a long series of statements which point to your true goals, most notably your fixation with killing off our mayor, which you haven't even bothered to deny. Seriously, trying to link me with the mob now when I'm most obviously not is only weakening your entire story. Trying to poison me now? On the contrary, I will probably be motioning to vote off one of those two tomorrow, but we have to deal with the major threats first, and since you've been manipulating the scum since day one, that is most definitely you. You've run out of fabricated defenses, and now the only thing you can do is feebly attempt to divert everyone's attention elsewhere. Pathetic. Well I'm looking forward to blowing her brains out tomorrow, if you're referring to me. I presume however that you're referring to Shaun here, right? So Shaun, tell us, what do you like to do with Mrs. Nutter? Hmmm?

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the show! -
Exactly what I expected to hear, so typical. And as I mentioned above, her conversion worked perfectly for you; not only could you steal control of the night watch from her and manipulate the other members for your own gain, but it gave you an opportunity to both fulfill one of your goals and weevil your way into the trust of some of the townies by vehemently attacking her. But the truth has been exposed now, and your crusade against the Arm of the Law is at an end. I know it, you know it, and the voters know it. If the voters were here that is, looks like it's just you and me right now. Yep, clearly you've run out anything possibly useful to say, and in the fashion of the truly guilty are turning to insults. You'll be oinking within the hour.
-
Yep, the head of your Night Watch did an admirable job of that, didn't she? Oh wait, that's right, she turned out to be a mobster, how typical. Assertions, that's all you have left now... And don't try and claim you killed her to restore your Night Watch to its pure state, we all know that's a blatant lie, you acted in self-interest on that one, and it worked perfectly for you; not only did you kill a policewoman but you gained a meatshield you could use to put us all off your trail. Well we aren't falling for it any more, bud.
-
In other words, you're bluffing and you have nothing in your hand, not even a pocket ace. Lucky it isn't poker night, aye? Oh there is no certainty, sure, but it is awfully convenient that the one thing that you could possibly use as an alibi was the action not shown in the morning, isn't it? Did I hear you mention you were a toaster salesman before you became a teacher? No wonder you're so silver-tongued. Actually, if you look back there is evidence of the third family right from day 1; there were three actions reported at the start of day 2 and day 3, and now we know why; because there are three families. Quite simple, really, I'm surprised you didn't see that.
-
Incorrect actually. Firstly, we only have your assertions that you were told Sandy targeted you, so that proves nothing. Secondly, every single morning, without fail, we have been informed of what the scum did the previous evening, or more correctly, the outcomes of their conversion and murder attempts. Of course there are other actions out there, but it is the scum ones we see each morning, not those other ones, so your misleading point about false information also holds no sway whatsoever. You monster!! Only a truly wicked person would even conceive of doing such a horrendous thing!
-
I would dispute that, as Sandy converted Carrie on night one, and there has been no indication that each godfather got 2 actions. In fact, as the night 1 results clearly show each godfather using one action and one action only, I would be willing to say you're flat out lying, which isn't surprising considering how much you've been doing it recently. You have no proof that Sandy followed you whatsoever, the voice in the sky certainly doesn't confirm it, and going by your own logic, we can't trust the word of the scum, can we, so even your so-called alibi is flawed. It's funny, you are quite happy to have us believe Sandy where it suits you, but when we have other sources backing up something else she has said, you're quick to point out that because she was scum she was obviously lying. Hilarious really, how you keep digging your own grave. But I've said enough, it is getting tiresome pointing out all the flaws in your arguments, the town will ultimately reveal the truth in their voting today.
-
It isn't about catching one mafioso bud, it's about consistency and doing what is within your powers to help the town. I have no way of catching mobsters myself, but I do have the power of the vote, and I have used that diligently so far to rid our town of two godfathers. And I am using it again now combined with information from several sources to take down another threat. You took down Carrie for your own gain; I'm taking you down for the benefit of the innocent and for justice. That and you want to kill me, since I'm a public servant. I have made my case, and now I leave this in the hands of you, the citizen body, to make your decision. Please, vote wisely, for a wrong decision here will only send the death toll higher and prolong the presence of the mafia scum in our midst.
-
Blah blah blah, somebody knows they are in tight spot they can't wiggle out of now, don't they? You're the only one speculating here, the rest of us are sticking to what we know, and we know you aren't here to save the town, only yourself. Oh I agree, as I said I don't think anyone did try to kill me, as the comments from night 2 clearly suggest that it was an attempted conversion that failed. And there is no proof that vests are limited to the mob, so that is a void point. Is all you do speculate and manipulate? I concur.
-
Well, as far as I (and Stash) know, Sandy and I are the only ones who have vests; she was scum, clearly, however I am not. I don't see why you think it unlikely for a townie to have a vest; as the police chief I am an obvious target, as shown by the attempted murder/conversion of me on night one. As I'm still here, it was obviously prevented if it was a murder attempt, anif it was conversn attempt, which I think more likely, it also failed as I'm unconvertible, as proved by the failed conversion of Rick during night 2, where the converter said "Hello, Rick Russian, I would like to... oh come on! First Drake, now this!". Also note that the vests are provided by a neutral, which indicates that they can most certainly be owned by both sides.
-
I wouldn't have it any other way my friend, if Shadows turns out to be a loyal townie then I will hand my badge in and you may relieve me of my role as a public servant. But I know I am right, so there will be no need for that.
-
Hang fire just a bloody minute people, this is a strange situation we have here, and considering the possible mental instability of our dear stylist, probably needs the careful and skilled handling of the police force. *Clears throat* Stash, what are you hoping to achieve by killing yourself? You can't help anyone once you're dead, suicide just isn't the way to handle this information. I am saddened and hurt that you feel I've been lying to you, but please trust my word that I'm a townie as I have said all along. I do have one of your vests, that is true, and that makes me a target, but killing yourself is only going to hurt the town and the chances of the rest of us surviving.I've put my faith in you day after day so far, don't ruin all your efforts yesterday now by doing something stupid like this. As for the rest of you who are shamelessly taking this opportunity to vote for Stash, I ask you this; strategically, what are you hoping to achieve by killing him? All we will discover is that he is neutral, and we will have gained nothing. I would rather use the information he has provided now and deal with the real threats than vote off someone who is an asset to our town and whom it isn't necessary to kill. I think it's shameful that you would even consider wasting an entire day of voting and allowing more of us to be killed during the night just so we can kill someone who has helped us so much. I implore you, try to think with your heads on this vote. You may say I have a vested interest in seeing this vote stopped, that is true, however I do not say this for just my own benefit, I say it for the benefit of our town as a whole. Only the scum are to gain by opening townies up to night kills, as there are no town vigilantes that we are currently aware of. Does nobody see that? Seriously, take a moment to engage brain people, otherwise you may make a mistake we will all regret in the coming days. Speaking of engaging brain, it is about time we dealt with a neutral who does actually pose some threat to the town. The neutral I am speaking of is of course the manipulative teacher Shaun Dows. He helped us right at the beginning, but since then I have come to realise this was a cover for his real motives. Shaun has been doing a lot behind the scenes, and I suspect he may well be behind Stash's decision to commit suicide, as I know the pair have been having extensive discussions with each other. Back during Day 4, Stash came to me with some very interesting news; that he needed to kill all the politicians, and that I counted as one. At the time I didn't feel it was enough to act on, but for the last couple of days Shaun has been trying to convince me privately to help him in getting the mayor lynched. I don't know if the mayor is innocent or not, but Shaun's fixation on killing him raised some alarm bells. He approached me telling me he is neutral and has to avenge the death of his brother, a story which I find highly doubtful and, even if true, detrimental to the survival of the town. This added to my suspicions. The final confirmation came with Sandy's interesting revelation yesterday evening, and with that, I think it is time we acted, as do many of you. Upon my honour as a loyal townie and your Chief of Police, I swear that what I say is true, and that Shadows is a neutral bent on the destruction of several of our loyal townies. As is becoming a tradition in this town, if I am proved wrong I will hand in my badge and willingly allow myself to be voted out tomorrow. Shaun knows that the only way to kill some of us is at night, so he aligned himself with Sandy and tried to use her, but clearly that backfired for him and he abandoned the attempt. But not before Sandy could stab him in the back too. I am taking a risk, but it is a risk that will benefit the town as a whole, so I am willing to take the full brunt of it. Vote: Shaun Dows (Shadows) Townsfolk, I urge you, make the right decision today and vote for the real threat. Don't listen to his neutral manipulations; he is not in this to help the town, only to help himself, no matter what he may claim. I speak as one of you, in defense of my town and my people; act now! *The chief sits down and pours himself a drink.*
