I would assume something like that is what happened, yes. Or perhaps he was a miller as someone suggested. All I know is what I was told, and that just doesn't make sense. This really sucks. *sigh*

Indeed! For shame, cross-dressing construction man, for shame! -
Might be worth noting, just for the record, that I revealed my result on Wilem before Vera was killed.
-
I can understand why you are all so upset people. I am particularly upset too. If you want to lynch me then it is little more than I deserve after leading you all astray yesterday. I'm clearly not of any use to the town any more, if I ever was. I can assure you that lynching me will only help the scum further towards gaining a majority, but I know after making such a big mistake there isn't really any hope of convincing you of my innocence. I am sorry. I can't say that enough.
-
WHAT!? But... I honestly don't know what to say everyone, this is a complete disaster. I have failed you all. I finally got a result I thought I could rely on, but by some cruel twist it turns out I was wrong all along. I'm so sorry Wilem, so very very sorry. I don't really know where to go from here. Ever since Stanislav died we've been spiralling ever deeper into confusion and hopelessness. At least the poisoner killed Vera for us, we have that to be thankful for. But this... I have made a mess of everything, I haven't helped my town at all... I don't know why I got the result I did. I investigated Wilem as usual, and was told that after searching through his belongings I found some incriminating evidence that suggested he was from the Baritones Mafia. It couldn't have been any clearer could it? All I can do now is apologise for the mess I have got us into. If it weren't for the two families, I'm sure the scum would already be close to having us beaten. However I would say we still have some time to correct this terrible mistake. I suppose it doesn't overly matter any more, but last night I investigated my dear wife Raya. She is a townie so I am told, but I have no faith in my results any more at all, and I don't expect any of you too either. What a mess.
-
My previous results have all said Town, while this result said Baritones Mafia. I can only assume that in a situation with more than one family, it isn't as simple as town or scum, as there are two completely different scum alignments.
-
I can only laugh at how blatantly Irene and Wilem are digging their own graves. I will of course stand by my result and vote for Wilem today, his alignment is more than obvious by now, and I expect Irene will be next considering her blatant support of her scummy ally. It's a bit pathetic really, seeing them caught in the headlights like this. Rather satisfying after all we've been through though. Vote: Wilem (WhiteFang) And good riddance for that.
-
Gah, that's ridiculous! How the hell are we meant to know if we are making progress or not!? This better be fixed come tomorrow, or there will be hell to pay! I would assume it is a direct result of the fool moon and will go away much like the previous rule change did.
-
FINALLY! I knew I was on to something yesterday, I knew it! Last night I investigated Wilem and found him to be a member of the Baritones Mafia. The game is up you scummy trash, you didn't manage to get rid of me yesterday and now you're going down. I decided not to investigate Samuel as I thought that would be my obvious target and the scum might try to interfere in some way. So I went after the more suspicious of my other two suspects, the rarely seen but extremely vocal Wilem. And I finally got a return on my suspicions. Not only does this confirm the two family theory, but it bags us another mafioso bastard. Woo! In other news, why did we not find out the alignment of the deceased? That is somewhat worrying.
-
Oh yes, and while I'm reviewing a few things, let's recall day three for a second. Did Samuel help in the conviction of Donil, the Russian mafia killer that we had clear evidence against? Not at all. Firstly (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59026&view=findpost&p=1053397) he was all set to try his best to get stanislav convicted, the very person who supposedly trusted him enough that night to tell him I was "definitely" scum. Then, he went on (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59026&view=findpost&p=1053641) to try his absolute best to either split the vote or force a swing towards Ruxana to try and save his colleague, while maintaining an indifferent "oh it could be either but I'll go for Ruxana anyway" approach. I don't buy it Samuel, not one bit. And yet even though he lost he team mate, he still went on to convince us to vote Ruxana the next day. I can't believe I was so naively swayed to follow him.
-
This is utterly ridiculous. You are voting for me on the word of someone who has a terrible track record, no evidence and who trusted his final word to Samuel of all people? Samuel, who was unable to vote for 2 days, who has lied about this so called peeping tom, who has been making up crap about private communications, and who has lead or been a pivotal part of every townie lynch mob so far? Are you all really that blind? I thought I could trust Samuel to some extend after my initial investigation, but things have clearly changed. He must have been converted, or framed in some way, it makes perfect sense now. If I end up being convicted today so be it, but I want my suspicions known so that you can act on them appropriately after my death. Although it may be too late by then. I can almost guarantee you that this whole situation has been a set-up by the scum to try their best to get me convicted. They must be close, and they know that if they can manipulate you all just a little longer, then this town is doomed. I'm not going to stand for it, no sir. Look at who has been most vocal to have me convicted. Three people have been driving this; Samuel, Irene and Wilem. Those three have been twisting everything I've said, have been forcing this supposed message from Stanislav which, even if true, doesn't actually mean anything at all. I'm frustrated that so many of you have fallen for these lies and are out to get me now. It's easy to say "oh, there are no other options, let's just vote for him". But when you're going to be losing a vital townie role... it honestly isn't worth it. For now, I am going to make a last plea to you all to reconsider. It really hurts that the words of my old friend and ally have been turned against me, used by the scum to convince you to fall into their trap and convict me, but it isn't too late to change that. We can still win this, and I am confident that even if I can't convince you to convict Samuel and his groupies today, at least you will do it tomorrow. So, I vote: Samuel (Sandy). It should have been clear to me earlier, but this person is the source of all our confusion, all the lies, all the so called "facts" that have lead to so many town deaths so far. Don't let his lies poison you any longer people. Don't give in just because it is apparently the easy and lazy way out, to vote where the scum direct you to. Use a bit of brain power and realise what's going on here, I beg you.
-
I must ask how exactly having the message come from a confirmed townie changes anything. It doesn't change the fact that Stanislav's gut instinct is wrong. It doesn't change the fact that I am a townie. It makes no sense to me that you are willing to vote for me on someone else's word, just because they are dead. If Stanislav was still alive and came out and said "he's scum, convict him" with no evidence, would you do it? I sure wouldn't, even if I knew 100% that Stanislav was a townie. That sort of logic, or lack of logic I should say, doesn't make any sense. I know Stanislav quite well; if he was certain of someone and had the evidence to prove it, he would have included that in his message. But, as samuel has attested, he didn't. He just had a feeling. I would think that is more to do with the fact I look like a Nazi, actually. And made a comment to the big voice about looking like a Nazi before this whole game of life even began. Are you honestly that desperate for a reason to convict me, Samuel? Very much so actually. Your entire stream of logic is full of "what if?". There isn't any fact, there isn't anything to base your accusation on, it's just a long twisted line of "suppose this was the case" and such. A very flimsy argument to place a vote on, certainly. I'm sure you would try the same argument no matter who I investigated. It's easy enough to say that I made them up, that is after all the usual method scum generally use to discredit the town investigator and put the town off track, especially when they are getting close to winning. If I had investigated someone less in the spotlight, you would say that I am clearly trying to protect my fellow scummies. If I had investigated someone who is more trusted, you would say I picked them as safe bets. That sort of "logic" holds no real weight I'm sorry to say Irene, it can be applied to any situation. A pretty stock standard way for the scum to discredit someone really. I find it extremely interesting that you are using it now. Ever since this supposed message came out you've been keen to find any excuse you possibly can to try and get me convicted Irene, and I don't trust it one bit. A real townie would at least be a little fearful of convicting the real investigator because they simply don't know, but not you. No, you're full of certainty, and you'll more than happily blame it on Stanislav's final message when I am confirmed as a townie after my death. Sort of typical really, I was half expecting someone to try it, but I wasn't expecting you to be the person to try pulling that stunt. Certainly; last night I investigated Patrick, who is the only person other than Stanislav and Samuel that I have spoken to privately. There were a few things that didn't really ring right in what he was saying to me, so I decided to check. However, my suspicions were unfounded as I got a townie result. As noted, I had a long discussion with Stanislav abd was happy to investigate Ruxana, in fact that was my intended target for that night, but he wanted to be certain of my previous results as he still wasn't all that convinced by Samuel, and so I agreed to confirm my sanity by investigating him. Which is why it confuses me so much that Samuel got this mysterious PM from him that night. A short, single sentence accusation with no explanation. If I hadn't got the results I did, I would suspect Samuel was making it all up, or that there might be a framer of some sort involved. May I ask why you think it seems obvious? We're going off a single man's word here, a man who's only other "gut instinct" accusation turned out to be completely wrong. To be honest, I find it very strange that people like Samuel and Irene are willing to put so much trust in these words. Almost like the whole thing was planned to try and get me killed, and then it can all be blamed on Stanislav when I turn out innocent and my accusers can walk free. With our numbers dwindling, it seems exactly like the sort of ploy the scum would make to successfully take out a power role, laugh it off tomorrow, and then nail another townie in the vote the next day to finish us off. We cannot afford to make that mistake, especially after we were all so certain of Ruxana based on other evidence provided to Samuel from some nameless peeping tom. I don't know about you all, but as a target myself, this whole situation is extremely off. The scum are likely grinning at their good luck.
-
This is highly troubling. Not only is Ruxana a townie, which seems extremely odd considering how certain some people were yesterday with their evidence, but one of our number has... blown herself up? That's just crazy! I'm glad we finally have the FBI on our side though, Agent Hottie's help should be extremely beneficial. I didn't find a mafioso last night, the person I investigated came up town. Would you like me to share the identity of this person with you all? A few people complained when I did that yesterday saying it put those people in danger, so I thought I might check first today. Personally I feel the more information we can collectively share and use against the scum the better, but I'd like to hear what you all think too. The scum do already know who is and isn't a townie, after all. I was not informed that I was attacked last night, so I can only assume the scum left me alone knowing it would be useless to try killing me, and instead tried something else. That or perhaps I don't notice when people shoot at me, but I highly doubt that. I tend to suspect that either our blocker was successful or the scum did not kill last night. Perhaps they converted, as has been suggested. The rules of this life do suggest that such a thing is possible. Anyway, I need to sleep get some breakfast, so I'll be back shortly.

Awesome conclusion Hinck, you had me laughing so hard. And I got to play the Nazi! -
So your mistrust is entirely based on the final words of a townie who also mistrusted Petr? I've said it already, and still haven't had a clear answer from anyone as to why his word is all of a sudden so trustworthy. The fact is, he doesn't have any evidence against me, otherwise he would have shared this with Samuel. He just has his gut instinct, and that didn't really serve him all that well while he was alive, did it? Unfortunately, the target Samuel painted on my head with her accusation was big enough already that I felt I needed to come forward to clear up any confusion and to defend myself. I understand the risks, but I felt it had to be done.
-
I agree that with the evidence against her we need to convict Ruxana. Much like Donil, I believe we have caught her in the act, and so for much the same reasons that I voted Donil, I'm happy to vote for her as well. Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator) I do however intend to get to the bottom of these supposed messages tomorrow, and clear my name. I know I'm a townie, I know I can be helpful, so that issue needs to be sorted.
-
How very interesting. He appears to be very suspicious of me too, contrary to any possibly logical reasoning I can think of. Wilem, to be honest I find your complete trust in the unverified suspicion of Stanislav somewhat odd. Why exactly do you believe he is correct in his finger pointing? As Ruxana said, he was extremely suspicious of Petr, and how did that turn out? Petr seems to be dead. Oh, and a townie too. I'm also finding it a bit strange that Stanislav told Ruxana of all people not to trust me, considering he was he was quite happy to consider voting Ruxana today, as he said yesterday. Odd also that he didn't mention Denis in that particular message. I don't know, all these random messages out of nowhere are starting to seem mighty suspicious. It just doesn't add up at all.
-
Dammit, not another townie. While we can thank the poisoner for getting Max, the other deaths really aren't helping us at all. I'm beginning to suspect this poisoner has to be a serial killer, the daily kills and almost random approach certainly suggest that. I too would like to hear from Ruxana before proceeding with a vote, although I have to agree that the evidence, if we can take Samuel's word, is certainly compelling. That canvas is empty!
-
But, if I may ask, is the only reason you doubt me because of what Stanislav told you? His gut instinct? I'm sorry, but that seems like very little to risk killing off the investigator in my opinion. If you're willing to take that risk I sure can't stop you, but at least my death will confirm my results for you and be of some little help I guess. Oh. That's all he said? No evidence, no reasoning, just a gut instinct? I must say that's rather hurtful. Are you sure there isn't some alternative motive behind his words? Because I'm pretty certain he didn't have any reason to suspect me, after I so trustingly revealed my action to him. To have him turn around and say this... it just confuses me, I honestly don't understand his logic. Wait, someone saw Ruxana target Petr last night? Or is this another hunch? If you're certain, then that certainly suggests that Ruxana killed Petr, especially considering he lied about his target. To be honest I find it hard to understand how you could know anything about what an inventor can and can't make Irene. I know of inventors who can make pistols, for example. There are a lot of variations on these sorts of roles, so I find your reasoning to be a bit vague sorry. Doesn't matter what it's called, the item I received serves the same function. Your friend clearly wasn't in a town with many guns. Although I guess I'm only safe from a bullet, not from poison. Anyway, I've come out and revealed myself, I have one line of defence, so I expect I'll probably be dead within two days. But, if I can somehow help the town either confirm another couple of people or find a mafioso, then it will have been worth the risk. I'm sure the Mafia(s) would be more than happy to see me gone today, but I'm hoping that by being honest about my action I can avoid that.
-
That would just be Stanislav and I; he was the only person I felt I could somewhat trust so far, due to his action. And indeed, I was intending to work gradually to build up an alliance behind the scenes, but with the death of stanislav and sudden fingers being pointed my way, I don't feel that is possible any more. So I'd rather the information I have be out here where we can all use it. And as noted, it would have been silly to role-claim too early, as the scum would have simply blocked me or attempted to kill me. As I'm sure they will try to do now sadly, but no helping that. What's done is done.
-
Did he also happen to mention that that investigator is me? I guess I may as well be open about it, since people are starting to point fingers and I've lost my only ally to the damn scum. It's a hard decision considering the risks, but we've lost enough power roles already and I would hate for you to make a mistake and vote for me today. Luckily, Stanislav used his inventor action on the first night to give me a vest, so I am fairly confident that the scum can't kill me at night, at least not on the first attempt. doesn't mean they can't try during the day though! I've been collaborating with him this whole time trying to make sense of our situation, and to have Samuel come out and say he sent a message saying he suspects me is very confusing, and certainly unexpected from my end. I am very interested to hear his reasoning, please do elaborate Samuel. If you're interested, my results thus far have been: Night 1: Samuel (town) Night 2: Yan (town) Night 3: Stanislav (town) We decided that I should investigate Stanislav last night despite me already being certain of his alignment because we wanted to make sure I wasn't an insane investigator. It seems I am not, which I am certainly glad about. There was some indication that things would be different during the full moon, but I received the result as per usual and currently don't have any reason not to trust Yan, so I think that my action at least remained unaffected. I've put myself in the firing line now for the scum, and will probably die before the end now, but hopefully it will be of some benefit to my fellow townies.
-
That's very strange, did he say why he suspected me? I can understand why he would be suspicious of Denis, but I don't see what I've done to raise his suspicions. I can confirm though that Samuel's claim regarding Stanislav's action is correct, he was indeed our inventor. His loss is a big one for our town.
-
God dammit. After all our efforts yesterday to go against the tide and get Donil convicted, the scum still managed to get their revenge and take out Stanislav. This is a terrible blow to our efforts, I will miss his insight. We have a tough day ahead of us everyone, we need to make sure we don't let ourselves slip. If it is true that we are indeed dealing with two Mafias, then we need to be extra vigilant. Does anyone have any new information to share?
-
And with that I think we finally have a conviction. Vodka all around! Nice to see us finally able to agree on something, even if it was by a very tight margin.
-
I concur with this, and from what I've seen so far today, I think the evidence against Donil is far more compelling than the suspicions surrounding Ruxana. I'm not going to vote for someone just because they have the most currently, I'm going to vote for who I think is most suspicious at this point. Hopefully by the end of the day a majority of you will agree with me. Vote: Donil (Waterbrick Down)
