On 1.10.2024 I ordered some Imperial flags and other pieces from Pick a Brick. All were standard pieces and were supposed to be shipped from Billund. Yesterday (14.11.2024) I received all pieces from Poland (including the Imperial flags) except the trans neon green round 1x1 bricks, they are shipped separately from Billund and are on their way. After I ordered they have also changed the classification of all pieces except the round 1x1 brick from standard to bestseller. It is very interesting because trans neon green parabolic element Ø16 was shipped from Poland.

Best looking City space set so far.

"independent labor unions are almost non-existent in China. The Chinese so-called national trade union is state-controlled. The Chinese government doesn’t allow unions with full legal independence from the national trade union. Worker strikes are illegal." https://coalhillreview.com/labor-unions-in-u-s-and-china/ That doesn't sound worker friendly at all. Mainland China has merged the worst parts of socialism and capitalism and created a dystopian society. That is a good reason to avoid fake products from such places.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
SpacePolice89 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I agree -
The sails and flag are nice but otherwise this ship is a wasted opportunity. If they made a minifig scale sailing ship from the Napoleonic War era or earlier it would have a much broader appeal. This thing is just hideous.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

It doesn't have to be 50% bigger, as long as it looks like a Blacktron ship and has the right colors. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
SpacePolice89 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Not the same style but both are similar to their original subthemes while using new building techniques and parts. If they wanted to they could have used more detailed printing in the early 80s. There are many toys with very detailed printing from the early 80s. Minifigs look better with simpler printing because minifigs and pieces themselves are not very detailed and very blocky in their design. There are even Town minifigs with many details from as early as 1980 like the chef . -

The hair piece looks weird, some sort of hat would've been a better choice. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I hope that they make the upcoming Blacktron set in the same style as the Galaxy Explorer and the Blacktron Cruiser, new parts and building techniques with original minifigs and colors. -
I wouldn't mind preordering replicas of old sets if all or most of the pieces and colors are correct and would happily pay a premium for that.
-
That would be fantastic. But any Blacktron set would make me very happy.

Yes, it looks like could've been a retail set. I believe it would've been really popular if it had been sold with the other sets.

It's nice to see that many different people are building Seatron stuff. Will you post pictures here?

The last time a monkey in the original style was released was in 2016 with the silver Ninjago monkey. It seems to be a little different from the Pirates monkey The head and back seems different but the differences are very minor. Bricklink has it listed as the same part but I think they are different molds. What do you think? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2550&idColor=0#T=S&C=0&O={"color":0,"iconly":0} If the silver monkey is a different mold it has only been used for a couple of sets in 2016. It would look nearly identical in brown.

Thanks for the information! While I like such sets I am no fan of subscriptions and try to avoid them as much as possible. I am very happy that they didn't go with a subscription model.

You did a fantastic job with the Seatron monorail! Is the YouTube Video also about your monorail?

LEGO Monkie Kid 2025 Rumours and Discussion
SpacePolice89 replied to Agent Kallus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Are the Monkie Kid sets imported to Europe and North America from China or are they made locally for each market? What factory code is printed on the boxes?
