Ads, Can I get rid of them

PayPal as a payment option would be great. I'm willing to pay for no ads. I would prefer an annual fee. -

I have sent an e-mail to Nathan Thom and asked about the status of Bricksafe and new members joining. As soon as I get an answer I will post the information here. -

The creator of Bricksafe is Nathan Thom and he writes on Bricksafe: "Websites always seem to hide behind a "we" or "us" these days. In this case, it's just me! I am Nathan Thom, and am also the creator of Rebrickable. Contact Me! You can reach me about anything to do with Bricksafe at support@bricksafe.com." -

I have used Bricksafe as a backup but now I have to move all my picture there. I have previously thought about doing that but I always found Brickshelf very user friendly so I have never actually done it before now. Or maybe I am just so used to Brickshelf and its functions? -

R.I.P Kevin Loch. This is very sad. I have used Brickshelf since 2000. First I was only looking at all the amazing Lego pictures and in 2003 I started uploading my own pictures. It is still my primary website for storing Lego pictures. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
SpacePolice89 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
While I prefer the original Futuron style I have no problem with including the new green ones from City or the orange ones from Build a Minifigure in my Space dioramas. The same goes for the Blacktron torso from Space Police III. I make the necessary adjustments so that they'll fit in with my original minifigs and sets. -
I see it as unlikely but not impossible. Even if the old molds still existed they would probably still make new ones so I don't see that as a huge problem. Nowadays large expensive Lego sets are more common so maybe they would sell more monorail sets today. I guess the electric motor parts were very expensive to manufacture in the late 80s and early 90s and drove up the price a lot and maybe nowadays they would be cheaper to make.

Looks very professional!

A fully functional monorail compatible with the old system used in Town and Space. Basically a modern version of 6399 with an updated motor and compatible rail.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
SpacePolice89 replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The "staff picks" on Lego Ideas are all too similar and leave out some of the best sets. I have noticed that I very rarely support any of the sets that get the staff pick label. -
I got inspired to build this motorhome by looking at old vacation photos. We used to have a motorhome and we drove all around Europe with it. It was a little bit different but I didn't have all the pieces to build an exact model of our Fiat. We never had a boat on the roof but on several occasions we rented small dinghies. Our RV had a bike rack on the back but I decided not to include one. I have so many fond memories of that vehicle so I decided to build a Lego version of it. The RV park next to Legoland Billund was a very well visited destination.

Back then both types of bags were used depending on the machine in the factory. I have myself bought several new unopened sets from Bricklink (sets from the 80s and 90s) and they have all been great. Because Bricklink consists of thousand of different sellers there is always a small risk risk when buying but the sellers with good reviews are almost always trustworthy. I've also had some problems with some old new tires. Some of the flat racing ones can become very sticky with age.

I wish they would make a green Futuron astronaut in the same style as the originals. Especially the one from 60097 looks great but the original design is still the best. I know there are some green prototypes from the early 90s on the market but they are very very expensive. 60097 The prototype minifig For more information: -
Anyone still playing Lego Racers?
SpacePolice89 replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Have you tried the time races? I always have trouble winning those and it takes ages for me to win them all every time I play the game with the goal of winning every single level. But they are very fun. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Are all cameras with this fault found in American or Canadian sold sets? From what I've seen in the forum everyone with this problem is from the US or Canada. -
Many thanks!!! This means a lot to me. My first Lego set that I remember was a Futuron minifig pack with astronauts in different colors and since then I have liked this logo very much. I used to draw it on the pages of school books when I was bored and nowadays I have a metal version of it on my desk.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO

Interesting. I see it completely the other way. I see the new versions as studless Playmobil like sets while the older ones looks more like construction toys and have more pleasant colors and design. I think there is no universal truth which tells us objectively which style is superior, in the end it is highly subjective and down to personal preferences.
