Well on first thought, it seems not that unlikely they would do something like that and the piece count would be a quite strange coincidence (and the name would fit actually) - but thinking about it, if it were a bundle pack it should have a set number beginning with 666

Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don´t see a reason to think that. With Owlery and Boathouse we got two Sets we didn´t get before and while surely not everyone that got one (or both) of the former Hogwarts lines will get this one too, there will always those that still buy them and lets not forget Harry Potter is a theme that also lives from new Kids watching the films and wanting to have a own Hogwarts. I have no doubt they will sell well enough - and honestly, if they wouldn´t have faith in those Sets selling, I don´t think they would do them. I am pretty sure the Boathouse will connect to the Great Hall and very likely to the Potion Class too, so we would already have three Sets. And well, I must say I was surprised it will be only two Hogwarts-Sets for the Summer wave that are part of the Castle itself. but then again with the Great Hall beeing quite a lot money to add for one Set and and expected Runtime for three Years it wouldn´t really make sense to put to many Sets out in this wave. Also, we shouldn´t forget that the other Sets like the Forbidden Forest one, Aragog and Hagrits Hut, aswell as the Ship and carriage also belong to the castle even though especially the last one works well as standalone Set - and likely will also appeal many that don´t want to start another castle System too. I think they might sometimes favor the first two films over others because they got more audience in general, since they have the lowest age recommendation. Anyways there are still enough Scenes from all movies that are missing especially if we are not counting the old sets before the theme got brought back. Troll on the lose likely beeing on of the most recommended from the first movie for instance. -

It isn´t the first time someone trys to claim this and so far it were always people, that are unknown. So I would take this as attention-seeking. That beeing said it wouldn´t make any sense to bring those sets now after all this time. If they were to put them out it would have been right after release - if they were going to do more, they would have done so last year not this. Whatever reason they had to cancel them, I am pretty sure we won´t see them. Also, welcome in the loop again. -
Exploration can basically mean anything. I mean it would likely be a ground Set but a space one is also possible. Or it could be more like Benny´s Space Squad, just with bigger vehicles. Some kind of Mech wouldn´t surprise me either.

Well I would say the majority like the grey more - and yeah they might be more accurate, however I don´t see the connection between what looks better and what is accurate. Just because something doesn´t look exactly like in the original it still can look better to people. Anyways. I would say I liked the grey ones more and was a bit disappointed getting the green ones, however since they made them to celebrate the 20th Jubilee of Lego Harry Potter I can see why they did them then, and honestly they still look good. So yeah now as they claim to be doing the most detailed Hogwarts I would say going back to grey is the only right choice here - and also leaves people the possibility to have the roof colour they wish, as right now both are avaiable. Well it doesn´t claim to be the burrow though, so I think we still have no confirmation unless it beeing very likely due to the survey leak. it would really surprise me at this point though if it would be something else. Anyways as it is supposed to be released on 1st September I think it might take a while till we get certain information towards price or minifigures. -

I would hardly call that a pattern. First of all it would have been hard to give the Blacksmith anything but a new (or better said redesigned) faction, since there wasn´t any at that time. Then they used them for the 3-1 castle and again in the Lion Knights Castle. Maybe they decided to give the castle to the Lion Knights since the Black Falcons already had one - plus having two Knight-Factions and the Forstmen adds a lot playability. Although beeing a 400€-Set aiming for Adults you can´t deny that the castle also has a lot of playabilty. Anyways, the mean reason why I don´t think they will put another faction there is because I think the Village will be the company set for the Lion Knight´s castle, meaning it is placed in their dominion, so we should see their knights then. So, now we could see the Axe Guards as some kind of Town Watch, and they were a faction that were related to the Lion Knights in the past, which the Black Knights are not, that is what I meant when I stated they would be unrelated. -

Well we can´t be sure until one of the designers talks about it in an designer video, interview or something like that. But I would also say, that they planned it from the beginning as a rough plan what they want to do, which minifigures, how the overall castle will be build. Of course in the design process there will always be change in the process, and all the things you mentioned don´t make much more sense when the sets are completely designed after another. Especially now that they are trying a more detailed hogwarts that is not modular like the last one they have to have a rough plan how the overall castle will be designed - I am pretty sure they have a prototype of the castle there. Also you would have to plan ahead what you want to display in the sets and which minifigures they will have so you don´t end up displaying a set that requires a minifigure (and we are not talking about the three here, since they will be in most sets anyways) but you have that minifigure already in an set where you could have put like every minifigure in instead without them appearing in two or more sets - which is not going to mean we can´t see the same character in several Sets, though. Just they will have a rough plan when they consider which minifgures they are going to add. Best example for this would be the great hall where you basically can add every minifigure that exists it the Great Hall, so releasing that one it would be good to know which Minifigures are added to other sets before choosing which ones you add there. -

I still think that Lion Knights are very likely too ;). Axe Knights, maybe, but I don´t see them including any unrelated faction like Black Knights in that set. -

I would expect that set to have quite some bigger plates - of course there will always be a lot small pieces but compared to the owlery and the boat house for instance, I would say there are just more places were you can use bigger parts. Aside from that, let´s just hope for many great minifigures and maybe a new mould for the Basilisk if it is included? They would likely reuse the head, but the body of the old chamber of secrets set doesn´t look that great to me honestly. -
Hmm I would disagree here. Actually I see higher chances for Lego bringing Lord of the Rings back as a theme than castle. While surely with both themes it is possible they could bring them back, I feel like for castle they will keep doing Lion Knights Castle- like Sets and retro sets for the next future - doesn´t necessarily have to be only sets that are that big (>200€) as I would love doing them some smaller sets aswell, and they could reach an wider audience then expensive sets like the castle. As for Lord of the Rings, it wouldn´t surpirse me if they would start doing normal sets again, since Rivendell seems to be selling well, they might consider it if Barad-Dûr is doing good aswell.

Well either way, I´d rather have characters that actually show up in the film/books than random inclusions - especially when more people would like to see Narcissa for sure. -
Hmm, cozy castle sounds strange though, not sure that really is a castle set in that means. However if we would be getting year of castle next year, wouldn´t they rather wait with that one too then? So I would kinda say that makes it more unlikely to get it.

I guess this is the set where they could add like every figure they could, so hard to guess what they will actually include - and might aswell depend on what other sets they are going to do. However I would guess for Harry, Ron, Hermione, Lockhart, Quirell, Dumbledore, McGonagall (While in the Boatshouse she could aswell be included here, since she is the one putting the Sorting Hat on the Students) Ginny. I would guess for both Fleur and her Sister aswell as Madame Maxime, Karkaroff. Krum and likely Karkaroffs Assistent? Maybe even some unnamed Students to fill the ship, however Crouch seems unlikely to me for this set. It would surprise me if it would be any different. Harry, Draco and Snape seem very likely to me. But I would guess it will bei either both Ron and Hermione or more likely Ron since, he´d rather blow things up than her so you can give him a matching second face. Could also be that one of the other students is included, that also liked to blow stuff up but I don´t remember the name. I would guess that they include the Halfblood-Prince book in that set, everything else seems like a wasted opportunity to me. It seems unlikely we will get a Madame Malking, without Madame Malkin to me ;). -
Well Red Panda sounds great to me. As for the rest we will have to see what will be included.
-
Yeah, was supposed to be the same price as the Galaxy Explorer.
-
Well according to Brick Clicker the Moments Space Spaceship was delayed till 1st August and also costs 110$ now. I wonder why it got delayed the second time now, I mean first it was supposed to come last year already and now with the second delay it will be almost one year later than that.

Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I wouldn´t call it pointless since the last one has been a while ago already, but I kinda would prefer if they would have made two seperate Sets for them Well I would stay with my guess that a big part might be the underground section and then maybe the staircase tower? Would depend on which size they are doing them really could aswell be just the great hall and underground with chambers of secrets. My guess would be that it connects with the underground section of the great hall set. They can add something on top of it later or can include another room with that build. Well, both will surely connect and since both display different parts of the forbidden forest I don´t see an issue - and actually I don´t think there is that much forst in that set, given we should expect the set to have Harry and Ron, Aragog and then I would guess we will have a bit tree with some spiderwebs and spiders. -

So my guess with the Great Hall beeing the big Set wasn´t that bad after all. Anyways I am kinda surprised with how few of the sets are actually for the new Hogwarts system (well of course the ship will kinda still belongs to is, but not really part of the castle). Not that interested in the buildable figures really, but they seem to have their marked - though if they are well made they can certainly look great -

Sets aren´t released based on their Set-Number or Numbered based on their release. No idea when they really are giving them the numbers but I would guess it is at an early stage when they don´t know the concrete release date yet. -

Black Falcon replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well that is one of the most common ways because especially rulers of the past liked to be displayed either with their horse heroic in battle or even more common just on the horse looking somewhat majestic and in the same time also is a sign of wealth. Anyways, there are many buildings where especially Lions or Horses were used as decoration (among other things) but I would highly doubt we would see Lego doing that anytime soon. For modern buildings it would look out of place and the building where it would have fit the most IMO was the Natural History Museum I think. Other than that I could really only see them doing that for a historical building they do for an architecture-Set. But for those the Lion mould we have wouldn´t really fit because it would be to big for most of the things they could display and many of them have an sitting Lion rather than a standing one. -
Well, the problem with that argument is though, that neither China is a poor country, and surely aren´t companies like Mouldking or Bluebrixx poor either. They could afford to go the legal way, they just don´t want to.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Well if we are beeing honest he didn´t wrote this is Sci-Fi, but it would be Sci-Fi for him, and he even explained what he meant with that. In the end Sci-Fi doesn´t always have to play in space and if they are searching the polar region for meteorids in his scifi-world, then why not. Let them find some Alien ship and you already would have an Sci-Fi-Movie ;). Additional to that, if we take the above picture, take the icebear away and add an landing place with an spaceship that could aswell play on an different planet with similar atmosphere to earth ;). -

Yeah the trials and slytherin rooms as well as potion class were mentioned a lot for this - the passage on the other hand is something I wouldn´t have had in mind and would be something fun to include IMO, good catch. -

With the boathouse it would look kinda strange if not. And in the end there is enough they can display there - also, the most detailed Hogwarts Set should also have the chamber of secrets included.
