  1. Well, but you still do. The series can have a set number in the range of the CMFs without taking a spot of the CMF. Whether that is the case we will have to see.
  2. Well they were CMF, so CMF was the theme anyways. In the text you quoted I was talking about non-CMF series. I think you are misunderstanding me. I meant it makes sense for the F1 Series to have the same number Range as the CMF-Series because it is a similar thing. I don´t think that F1 will be a CMF and neither that it would make sense for it to be a CMF - at least not in the rumoured way.
  3. Mario and Vidio were part of their theme and got numbers according to it. With Unikitty it seems like they wanted to make a new CMF-Like think, hence it is labeled as Series 1 - which is IMO why it got unique numbers. F1 on the other hand isn´t a Theme on its own, so it doesn´t have an own number range, but the range of the other themes it is a subtheme of. That beeing said it would make sense if it were in the range of the CMF numbers even if it isn´t an real CMF series.
  4. I don´t think that a bigger Renegade wouldn´t be compatible with the Invader anymore. I mean one of them is a bigger Spaceship and the other one is a small one-manned fighter - if the bigger ship becomes even bigger that would actually be a rather good thing honestly. If it were the other way around and the one manned ship would be increased in size I would agree with you. Yeah, but they didn´t get the next Space theme right afterwards either ;). Not to mention a new theme with just one Set would have been strange. I would actually expect the ship and Paperbag to be the last Sets for that wave. But wouldn´t complain if there would be more in the summer.
  5. Yeah and still if you read the Star Wars thread they still complain about what they are getting although they really get a lot different stuff ;).
  6. If law forces companies to print those lables on the boxes, it should actually be to stop people from getting hurt though ;).
  7. Same here. I have said it multiple times already and I will only start beliving it is a cmf when there is no other series in that time range.
  8. Well - that´s pretty much populism. Lego is a company and as such it shouldn´t shock anyone that they want and need to make profits. And it isn´t like they only have two themes. City, Friends, Ninjago, Dreamzz, Harry Potter, Technic etc etc - and the list goes on in on. In the end everyone would love to see different kinds of Sets, but they can´t please everyone. Would I want to have Castle back as a Theme? Sure. Look how many would want to get Adventurers, Western, Lord of the Rings playsets, Bionicle - you could make an endless list with basically most older Lego themes - and then split the themes down to subthemes, because some would rather have M-Tron returning and others prefer Ice Planet. Not to mention like every IP on the world they never have done yet. I would love to get Star Gate Sets but that isn´t going to happen either. ;) On a side note, Modulars get one Set each year, so probably that one isn´t the best example for the only things Lego cares about ;).
  9. The 3-in-1 retires this year. And, no surely they won´t have a problem to have two castles at the same time out, but probably to have two with a certain size. If they would do a Black Falcon Castle, I would expect it to be much smaller than the Lion Knights Castle, with around 200-250€ price range. And I don´t actually think they even see the need for another Castle right now but you never know. Anyways for the next Castle Set I would expect something else, like a Wolfpack Tower for instance. Many wish for a Joust set, that might also be a possibility.
  10. Since we are not expecting any Pirates set for next year, aside from a GWP maybe right now, that isn´t really surprising ;).
  11. Everything else would have been really strange. I said earlier this year that this wave is missing a bigger spaceship and am happy that we are getting it now.
  12. Noone said it wouldn´t be profitable. And actually I do belive if it is done well both castle and pirates would do better than Lego expects, because Kids and Adults would buy them. But I do belive that their market research showed them that kids rather want to play with Ninjago sets than Pirates or Knights and that that those themes wouldn´t sell good enough to put them on the shelves sets from other themes. That beeing said, that is merely speculation, but basically I would guess that the problem isn´t that they wouldn´t make profit with those sets, but that they make more profit producing something else. Which is basically what I said ;) Well as I said in my last post, I am not so sure about it. If the fort port and hideout are together with the ships, how many people would buy everything? And how many would rather only buy the ships, because they are cooler? After all I wouldn´t expect the ships to be cheap, especially larger ones, and how many really could and want to afford a complete wave?
  13. I don´t think that Bricklink plays any role in such decisions, however they might consider the Creator 3 in 1 Castle as such. Eitherway I don´t think they will release another Castle as long as the Lion Knights Castle is out on the shelves.
  14. Well but you essentially had the same issues with all the other Revival Sets. There is no siege for the Lion Knights Castle, no opposing Ships for the Galaxy Explorer (not counting the GWP since well, it was just avaiable for a short time and you couldn´t just buy it to be able to play with both). All of them, while surely having play features are not really designed for kids but rather for adults - that doesn´t mean that kids couldn´t have their fun with them and play just as well as with other sets with them - as play features and such are an essential part of Legos design phylosophy and they also add them to their sets targeted to adults. And maybe the Fortress would sell better if there were other Sets like Pirate and Imperial ships at the same time - but honestly, I do belive that imperial are just not that popular like Pirates for both kids and parents. And if there would be more ships to accompany the Fortress the question would be how many would actually buy the whole wave - and how many would just go with the pirate ship or maybe the pirate and the imperial one. Well it is basically the same with the other classic themes like space, castle and adventures. Yeah, Space got some Sets through city now but that will get one set and a polybag this year and then it is done IMO. And probably Lego is right that castle and pirates aren´t that popular among kids anymore - since they would have to compete with City, Ninjago, Jurassic World, Harry Potter, Friends, Monekey Kid, Dreamzzz (though that one might be the weakest competitor amongst them - and probably I am forgetting something anyways). That beeing said, it isn´t like those Sets wouldn´t sell - the question would rather be if they would sell well enough for Lego to be worth it over producing other Sets. Eitherway I am sure they have done their research about the popularity of those themes. However, I actually do think they might underestimate the demand that Adults have for those. Well maybe one day we will get some Playsets again and till then I am happy with getting the bigger Sets and hopefully some nice GWPs.
  15. Yeah they changed it quite a while ago. End of 2023 or early this year. I liked the bay but didn´t buy it. To many good sets and space and money are limited in the end. Though, todays me would probably have bought it :P
  16. With Space getting a set next year, pirates turn could be again in 2026 then. Eldorado didn´t seem to be selling that well. I mean it was meant to stay around till 2026 and they changed it to 2024.
  17. Most of the other ships - including the Galaxy Explorer are symmetrical, and many of them have a V-Shape. The Renegade however has neither of bpth, but an very unique design. Most of the ship are just plates with some joysticks on it, the only parts that really have some room are the cockpit and the rear of the ship - for a remake they would likely have to add some space to all parts of the ship, because in a modern version a blacktron-spacemen can´t just sit on the top of the spaceship and sit on the controls there. For the Galaxy Explorer on the other hand that was an easier task since they could just leave the flat parts of the ship flat. So all in all the Renegade does need more changes, but at the same time they have to make sure that you still recognize the ship (which the unique shape might actually help with), like you could with the Galaxy Explorer.
  18. I still would think that they would make a bigger Blacktron Ship first, like, the Renegade? Would really be looking forward to a redesign from that one as it really has an unique shape and I guess it isn´t the easiest modell to really make it look cool and (more) modern. Blacktron 2 still can be done at a later time, same as M-Tron, Ice-Planet. Not sure if they would make a Futuron one however, since the minifigure design is quite similar to the classic space one really, and classic space just seems so much more popular. If they would make a remake of an older set, which one would you whish for?
  19. Well, to be fair, back then rumours said we would get a black spaceship - not really sure where the renegade rumour came from then, but this time the only info is it will be blacktron, so it should become that. I think Blacktron might be more likely to happen than Blacktron two. After all it is more iconic and we didn´t get an opossing ship for the Galaxy explorer aside from the GWP yet.
  20. Both were cloned by Biosyn - and were actually both used to create the Indominus Rex, though, so there DNA was there, they just never cloned dinosaurs with it. And well that is the point mentioned above, we don´t know what else they all have cloned, as the new film makers can just decided that like they want.
  21. I don´t think that this would play any role in it. Especially since if the rumours are true there will be a series in between still.
  22. They also had new Dinosaurs in the later Jurassic World films and we never got a complete list of what Dinosaurus were cloned and which were not, so it isn´t really like you could rule out that they bring a new dinosaur. Eitherway I guess the Dreadnoughtus works good aswell. It isn´t really like Mosasaurus is the biggest aquatic dinosaur either, and the franchise isn´t really true to nature anyways.
  23. My guess would be, because they are smaller so more fit into a box. They probably also have different box sizes for different parts but in the end I would guess that they ship full boxes eitherway, so there would always be one part having more than others.
  24. Well, interesting, but given the discription, I would actually rule out all the dinosaurs you mentioned for the land, and would say it has to be something like a Titanosaurus instead. Something I actually didn´t expect as mentioned above, because carnivores surely grant you more action, but in the end, the action doesn´t need to come form one of the big three in this case but could aswell just come from predators showing up when they are on their task to get the DNA sample from the Titanosaurus. Yeah as I said above, there is no way that won´t be included and I think the T-Rex is granted too.
  25. Ah, well I knew about the three animals they would search for some kind of medicine, but didn´t know the Mosasaur was actually leaked and not just a rumour. Aside from that, it is kinda an obvious choice, as it IMO is an important part of the franchise. So would have been one of my guesses anyways, with the other two beeing the T-Rex and maybe Spinosaurus? I just hope they use real dinos and not some clones again. I would kinda take T-Rex and Mosasaurus as granted, the third one seems likely to me, but there are some other options that also seem plausible, like Raptor ( I kinda hope they don´t use them though, but surely they will also be in the film anyways) or Pteranodon (that would make one air, water and terrestrial animal). Herbivores kinda seem unlikely since most of them are probably rather slow and easy to spot like brachiosaurus, though if it is one of them I would guess it will be a triceratops.
