The Pearl is now on backorder till 7 november

The Pearl is on backorder now and will be shipped after 7 oktober. Despite the high price it seems to be a hit. I think we can expect a Davy Jones ship next year. So fans of Pirates of the Caribbean will be satisfied.

Has anyone seen the Schwarzeneggers of the rings on YouTube? It's getting really popular. It's the scene where the fellowship discusses the Ring at Rivendell. All actors are replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger (AI) and the voices are done by voice actor and Schwarzenegger voice imitator Sam Hughes. It's hilarious. It's about 5 minutes long.

Rivendell too. I have bought that set too. But not day one. Waited for double points. And I am not even a true Lord of the Rings fan but I have to admit : it's the most beautiful display set ever made. Now it has become my precioussssss

I am curious to see how the Death Slice will sell. Out of curiosity I will check in at midnight to see if the site will crash like usual when Lego releases a major set. So many people complaining and refusing to buy it. But in the end when the time is nigh and fomo appears, we all say together : Shut up and take my money

I would like to see the Pearl how she was before she got burned 🔥 When her name was Wicked Wench or something. So brown hull and white sails. That would be awesome

I voted that I will buy it someday. Not a day one purchase. Sadly that day was yesterday. I shutted up and Lego took my money The Sega Megadrive controller gwp took me over to buy it at midnight. My best friend is a Lego fan and a huge retro gamer so I will give this Sega gwp to him for a birthday present. He has a ps1,N64,snes,Megadrive, Saturn and Dreamcast. So now I am saving money for not buying a specific gift to him. And therefore there was money available for the overpriced Pearl. Ofcourse this is an excuse to buy it day 1. I hope my friend will be happy with the present otherwise I bought it for nothing on day one. This is the second time I bought a set day one. Previous set was Lion Knights castle with Forrest People hide out gwp. Lego raising their prices....yeah I am part of the problem. Stupid gwp fomo.... Ah well it was either the Pearl or the Bluebrixx Queen Anne's Revenge.

Absolutely agree. It has better colors and better looking sails. However the Pearl has the better minifig lineup with Jack Sparrow and Barbossa

As castle, pirate , classic space and historical themes fan, the minifigs with animal costumes are the least interesting to me. So this series will be a total skip for me.

Oh wow. You must live very close to Billund. Every Lego lover must once in their life time visit Billund. You can't compare another Lego park with Billund. Billund is holy ground!

Nice! I really like the large tower and the house part. Interesting layout. A bit different then we have seen before but I like it.

My friends and me used this ship for an 'evil' pirate faction that even steals from other pirates like the Lego pirate comic book suggested.

Why are they replacing pieces? Are they so weather damaged? I tought they just painted the bricks over with white paint

Nice! Billund has a life size Eldorado Fortress build with Duplo bricks. Also went to Lego London but I didn't like it much. (too small). Never been to a Lego park anymore as an adult.

Looks great. I bought mine in 1993 with my allowance money in the Lego shop at the Lego park Billund. Boy, I was dissapointed with the price. Thought that Lego would be cheaper in Denmark.

That shield is a disappointment . Not usable for castle fans. Oh well we have gotten enough new castle factions now : Black Adders, Griffin Lords, Kraken Raiders and Riders of Rohan (horse faction) Waiting for them to be released on pab. We still need a proper return of the Black Knights with their iconic long dragon shields.

After seeing the official reveal of the Deathstar, the Black Pearl looks like a bargain compaired to this Palpatine planet crusher machine Even when the Pearl costs €350 for 2800+ pieces. It's just a diorama with an ugly backside while the Pearl is a full pirate ship with a smooth design that you can display at all angles. I know, different themes but both Disney
