  1. IC: De'kra sits in silence as his allies depart for their quests. The shade is left alone with his thoughts, his mind drifting towards the Quest 4. The mistakes he made, the innocents lost and cut down by confusion. A war now struck the north, and it was all the fault of the heroes eight.
  2. By Mata-Nui, Athior's foil can read our stage directions.
  3. I'm rooting for the Monkey in Quest 16. Personally I would have classified it as Humanoid or at least Humanoid/Vermin, it looks closer to a human than trolls.
  4. IC: De'kra glances at the board before turning to Hybros. With a sigh the shade clicks, "It look of you have quest. Good look, I hope you quest not manipulation like Quest 4, or failure like Quest 6."
  5. IC: De'kra sighs and clicked, "Heroes and I on I quest...made mistakes. Heroes and I were manipulated of Shadeaux to make war between Lion Knights and Brobric Elves. Shadeaux become rich, sell weapons to both armies. Many will die only to make Shadeaux stronger other Crownies. Heroes and I succeed quest, but Uland lost."
  6. IC: De'kra nods at the leader of the Shadeaux's Trigger, even as Tomas readied himself for the next quest. The shade picked himself up and walked deeper into the hall. He had caught wind of all the many adventures that had gone on during Quest 4, especially the sad tale of Quest 10. Although the Mage redeemed himself from the failed Uest 6 by epically winning a battle after all his allies had fallen, the whole adventure was tarnihed by the death of an innocent. An innocent that only one person realized was missing. Uland was close to home in some ways, but that, that just felt wrong to De'kra. Eubric was wrong, the houses were wrong, perhaps even this world of Olegia was wrong.
  7. Makes sense, but my Cloak of the Blue Assassin has a hood. So would it fill both head and torso slots?
  8. OOC : Shadeaux's Trigger is De'kra's name for the heroes of Quest 4 IC: De'kra sighed and clicked, "Yes, heroes will one day fight Wren, it need exist." The shade flinched a little as the sun's rays broke the clouds, and struck him in the back. That light, lost hurting him. The shade still didn't know why he hated the stars and felt betrayed by the sun, but his memory was returning, bits and pieces came back every day. One day he would know the truth of the matter. As the ranger approached De'kra clicked, "It quiet for moment, but it better other over loud and not hear you self think. Of way, you know might some of Shadeaux's Trigger plan to work on Quest 17?"
  9. IC: De'kra nodded sadly and stroked the slug. Finally he clicked, "Heroica need more carefully choose quests, make sure quest isn't trap or evil plan. Chaos I not familar with, but I remember something back home; kind of creature. Creatures once were like I friend here, but evil people modify it to drain people of light. People who lose light lose good, become evil. But drain people were flaw and crazy, people need both light and dark to exist sane. I not sure if those creatures connect to Wren or helpful at al. But Wren, I heard green skin who run tavern mention her. Wren was once hero, but never succeed in quests. You think countless failures broke her mind? Or might all failures have exist plan of her, as part of master scheme? Or something else?"
  10. IC: De'kra nodded and replied, "Yes, Shadeaux manipulate Heroes and I like...Iron Wolves. Heroes and I not aware of what was at stake at first, and in the end heroes and I still not sure how much heroes and I affect things. Heroes and I know we were use, heroes and I know heroes and I kill many foes, but heroes and I not ponder why enough. Heroes and I only follow heiarchy, and Uland lost. I no think I should help in Quest 17, or even other quests for a bit. I...not sure I trust I judgement now. I might need think hard about Quest 4, and try to learn of mistakes. First thing I learn, trust few n uest, even employer. Other heroes might okay, but I need to careful more. How you last quest happen?"
  11. IC: De'kra nodded as the older Rogue finished his questions. "Yes, Shadeaux manipulate Heroes and I. Heroes and I made to trigger war between Brobric Elves and Lion Knights, which make Crownies loose money and Shadeaux gain power. I thought Shadeaux might manipulate heroes and I of start, it why I sign up for quest in first place. The Shadeaux no deny Shadeaux thieves, but Crownies hide it. At least Shadeaux honest on methods. But I not think Shadeaux would create war to get power. War no good, I remember it...I think I planet shatter in war, it take 100,000 years for planet to heal..."
  12. De'kra nodded at the cleric, and approached the table. "What leader think happen now?" asked the shade, "and why no heroes worry about war? Hall feel same...as usual, it no great panic. Heroes not of Shadeaux's Trigger not know of war yet?"
  13. De'kra walks into the marketplace, when the costs from quest 4 finally hit him hard. The eight heroes had been used to ignite a war between the Lion Knights and the Brobric Elves, which shifted the Shadeaux into a position of greater power. De'kra had expected a betrayal, but he hadn't expected war. Even now his mind was filled with visions of armored warriors, fighting in a massive battle over a city far more advanced than anything in Uland. So many died, and one betrayed his ideals to prolong his death. It was a terrible time, and even now visions of other wars struck De'kra like cold steel. Regardless, the shade had to prepare. More quests would come, and perhaps chances for redemption. And so the shade bought a Topaz for 100 gold, and had it melded to his Pongcanis Dagger for 50 gold, leaving him with 68 gold. Part one of his showing completed, De'kra purchased three potions and a Venom for 20 gold and a Pickaxe for 20 gold as well. Although he had only 28 gold left, the shade was ready for battle.
  14. IC: De'kra walked up to both Tomas and the ax barbarian of Quest 4 and paid them the owed funds. Now the shade had only two hundred and eighteen gold left, but his debt had been repaid. The shade in part was too surprised that it had been a Shadeaux trick, he signed up for quest 4 knowing that the Shadeaux had a talent with manipulation. They almost advertised the fact. If the group had forgotten that feature of the Shadeaux then it was the heroes' fault, and not that of the Shadeaux.
  15. IC: De'kra clicks, "I attack Keveak of front row." The shade could see that both foes were almost beaten, this round might be the last of their opponents. Odds were that De'kra wouldn't even get a chance to strike the elves, but that was okay with him.
  16. IC: De'kra nods and clicks, "I attack Keveak of front row."
  17. OOC: I don't think I have a potion left. Also, did Tomas keep the Phoenix Essence the Lion Knight Captain offered us when we were trying to trick him? De'kra nodded in agreement to the plan, and went to attack lord Keveak. "I attack of back row or front row?" asked the shade as he readied for battle, "What leader think?" The shade really didn't want to die in the final battle, and it looked like Keveak could easily destroy him. Of course, he was wearing his Cloak of the Blue Asassin, so some damage will be blocked...
  18. Those darn elves with their shimmering eyes, dashing good looks, majestic flowing hair, and their superior agility. What gives them the right to flaunt their glorious Spock bodies at us heroes? ...so yeah, quest 4 has been great, I wonder what our assassination on the elves will do to public relations?
  19. IC: De'kra nodded and headed for another attack on the Brobric Elf from the front row. The shade feels lucky that he has no spells to fail him, though that won't stop him from buying a gem the first chance he has.
  20. please let even the worse reward be money, De'kra is still in debt.
  21. IC: De'kra nods, hoping that he had not doomed the company into making the wrong choice. "It honor to serve and you!" he shouted as the group attacked, "I attack Brobric Elf from front row."
  22. IC: De'kra applied his venom onto his blade, as the group made their decision. He had been saving this vial the whole journey, to prepare for a battle that truly required his skills. The venom won't help much, but every bit is useful. "I still think it elves," he said finally, "but I thought has occur wrong before."
  23. I can't help it, I'm still under the irritable affects of a bad movie; a bad movie without MST3K treatment. I will never get those ninety minutes back! But true enough, we have accomplished a lot here that can't be taken from us. And unless I die in this battle, my level will increase to the two digits. I still don't want to lose, but I won't deny that even without victory we have accomplished more in this quest than most people do in a won quest. But mostly I need to get my share of the 2000 gold to pay off my debt to Tomas and a certain barbarian.
  24. Sure it's fun for the viewers, but what about us, the characters? We're racked with fear that we will fail this quest after spending so much time on it. We spent over three times the length of some quests here, what if we chose wrong? What if we die? We spent too much time on this quest to die now, or to chosethe wrong culprit. Sure my money's on the Elf(if De'kra had any money, he is forty two gold in debt), but how many of my crazy theories have been right thus far? But in truth it was very entertaining and next time Brickdoctor makes a quest odds are that De'kra will come along.
  25. IC: As De'kra uses the cloak his whispers, "I think elves one who start quest. Remember, elves not like invaders, and though knights might not invaders knights still strangers to Uland. Elves very want to fight, even though Lion Knights might exist here because of legal reasons. Elves spoke of use Shadeaux, and heroes and I hired when Shadeaux were raided. Elves also mentioned elven spies, and said elves knew heroes and I work for Shadeaux already. But I theories usually wrong, leader make leader's own choice."
