  1. I see it that if you attack from the front with say a sword, you can stab deeper with your blade than if you stood farther away. So from th back you might be able to pierce an inch of armor and skin, but from the front you can stab through the whole foe, as you have more reach. Ranged weapons have the same penetration despite the row, so they hurt the same regardless of row.
  2. IC: De'kra nodded in response, though his expression was distracted. Finally he asked, "Might you know where group was go?" Turning to the other heroes he commented, "Other heroes think that was one of other teams sent to Dastan, or group of escape foes from Uland? I suspect it former, as person name Hans aid heroes in Quest 7, but it might be common name." OOC: You tease me so. I love the Zora/Rito so much, so very much. Why are they not in Spirit Tracks?!? Why! Phantom Hourglass can be excused since it takes place in another realm, but New Hyrule is still in the Adult Timeline and universe. Zora should probably be in Skyward Sword, but I suspect the Parella might be a pre-Zora evolution. And we don't even hear if the Rito decided to stay in the Great Sea or not. The whole situation is making me obsessively write fan fictions with again, and nobody wants that.
  3. IC: De'kra turned to the human in purple and asked, "Strangers like this team? Was one mage cloak in blue and white and them? Also, I know Rito not often seen by outside world, but are there common themes in stories and descriptions about them?" OOC: Ignoring the fact that we will probably encounter the Rito judging by the fact that they are mentioned, I have to ask if a Minifigure form of a Rito has already been made. OOC: Interesting race these Rito, though for some reason I thought we would have found them on an island in a great sea.
  4. IC: De'kra watches as the rest of the team interacts with the customers of the building, more than a little aware that his skills fall short here. Still, at the least he could listen and see if he could find any clues. The Rito sounded like an interesting people, but De'kra was particularly interested in the fact that they don't seem to like the Dragon Emporors. It might be nothing, but there was a lot of trouble going on in Dastan lately. But if the Rito were wise like the Orc said, then De'kra was pretty sure they won't help the knights. If the knights succeeded the Rito would be hated by the populous, as at least the empeor they have encountered was beloved. And if the knights lose, the Rito wounld be hunted down. They might aid the knights a little, but nothing so direct. At the moment doesn't say this, instead he waits to see what Cronk gets as a reply.
  5. It's fine, I am having trouble sometimes finding where to jump in, but the pacing is still good. By the way, interesting race in Quest 29. Might they happen to worship a dragon, and be descended from fish men perhaps?
  6. Quest 20 ties in because De'kra and Arthur kept sending each other messages about the siege at Quest 17. It isn't really a part of the mythos, but it offers some side information and a different perspective.
  7. Yeah, Quest 4 is indirectly a part of the Wren mythos, because it introduced the Lion Knights. Quest 17 is the sequel dealing with Quest 4's end, so I would recommend reading that next. Quest 20 also has ties to Quest 17's events, but it isn't majorly linked.
  8. Well we know what De'kra would say; Although if he is in a different mood he might instead say, Of course you have to convert them into De'kra-speak, but they would still mean basically the same thing. Now without looking, who knows the source of those lines? Also, I am really glad we have a second Rogue, especially a skilled one.
  9. Alternatively, since so many characters have mental issues, perhaps mental instability is actually neurotypical here, and the heroes with no disorders are considered the insane ones.
  10. Thank Mata-Nui there is a second Rogue on Quest 29, as De'kra is really bad at it.
  11. IC: De'kra clicked, "It might...be?...good idea to visit Vender's Square. I have gotten some gold from attackers, so I could restock party and bombs, tonics, potions, and other supplies. It not much gold, but it only seven less than 100. Also, I not sure if Hammer-Hero have enough for it, but if there gems and blacksmiths at market, you might be able to upgrade one of you weapons so it can hurt undead."
  12. ...Arthur is a weregoat? But seriously, I am kind of glad I don't know what has been happening, it will help me realiztically write De'kra's shock when the time comes. From what I know I agree he probably won't approve, as eating people isn't good by his standards. The rule of them is that if Teridax does it, odds are it is an evil thing to do. Not sure about the rest, but De'kra would find that torture is a slippery slope, based on experience.
  13. Good to know. I know what you mean on long term plans though, I ran into some problems with long term plans in a different RPG, where many of my fellow plans started posting frequently. Sometimes events you don't plan for come up, Quest 4's end for instance left quite an impact, along with the death in the same quest. But in terms of De'kra regaining his memories and realizing who he is, he is about at the same pace as I planned. Hopefully we run into Arthur's group, long enough for us to catch up on adventures. A lot has happened since he last saw you, as he has reached the character development of Level 14.
  14. Just curious, but how does De'kra come off nowadays? I am worried that he has gotten OOC, though I don't know why. He still is following my long term plan well, though I have changed some details, but the pacing is still about the same. But I worry some aspects of him might seem out of character and cliche in a bad way, despite being planned from the start. So does he still seem loyal to his roots, and has plausible character development, or does he seem to have gotten of track? Please give feedback.
  15. IC: De'kra nodded and clicked, "Bigger half of team encounter three foes, one able to resurrect dead foes. Resurrector manage to resurrect three skeletons in fight, Hammer-Hero knock out for time. Team end up use bombs to weak foes enough to finish foes off. Group not find much else, though resurrector had four strange potions. Here one of them." De'kra pulled out his Purple Potion, and showed it to the others, "Either of you recognize this kind of fluid?" Tilting his head towards the guide the echo asked, "You know where other cultist bases might exist?" As De'kra spoke his clothing began to roll about, squirming about him also like it was a living thing.
  16. Why not? Female Assassin- Umbronx Umbronx was originally a citizen in a far away sprawling metroplex known as Hobrx. The population of Hobrx numbered in the tens of thousands, yet only one hundred of them were truly free. Those individuals were some of the first settlers of the city, and it is they who held the chains of command. Much like Eubric corruption was everywhere, and different families fought behind the veil of alliances. Overall the nation was run by one High Queen at a time, who would pass on her crown to whatever house had managed to gain her favor. Beneath her and the twenty clans were the four castes: worker, organizer, soldier, and engineer. At the time of these lower castes were organizers and engineers, while the workers were the lowest of the low. Since workers could never advance in rank, they begin their jobs of farming, cleaning, and production at the age of seven. Umbronx was one such worker, forging new weapons of war for hours every day. Despite the smog poisoning her body, Umbronx had not lost all hope for the future. Her mother had once told her that her father had been a soldier, who had breed between castes while drunk. Maybe if she could find her father, should could become a soldier and escape the poisonous slums. More often than not she would practice with the weapons she helped to make, pretending she was in the Iron Guard battling the northern barbarians. One day an organizer caught Umbronx playing with the blades of her work, and acted swiftly and coldly. The fire hot whip ripped into her back, before she even knew she was watch. From then on the organizers watched her more closely, and made sure to deal punishment. She was insignificant enough to be maimed without harming weapon production, but they couldn't allow such a low caste to get ideas. Her face was burnt, and she was exposed to so many toxins that her hair decayed to a white hue. She was nine when they finally stabbed a heated prong through her eye. As she was beaten over and over again, Umbronx's childish hope began to condense and reside. Slowly a new emotion firmed, a raw apathy born of total hatred and anger. Her life was meaningless, and no one would change that but her. Umbronx began to learn how to move in secret, and trained with her weapons more and more. She began to meet with other likeminded workers, each wanting the fall of the clans. More workers began to meet with them, even some soldiers and an engineer began to speak to them. The movement began to make actually moves against the clans, killing a servant or two,, stealing from the armory, blowing up a warehouse of jewels, small steps but ones that felt extremely pleasing. And all the while the few soldiers of the movement trained Umbronx and the others in the art of warfare. Then came the Day of No Sun, for the Eclipse that occurred coincidentally at the same day. It was then that Umbronx sneaked into the Grand Palace, and personally shot a crossbow through the High Queen's heart. The clans panicked at the sight, as the High Queen had not yet chosen a heir. The clans began to fight, turning their armies inward rather than to conquest. As they pounded on each other, the clans were taken down one by one by Umbronx's brothers in arms. Soon enough the last of the clans had fallen, and the revolution was victorious. The rebels then got to work setting up a new government, which they dubbed the Mass. The Mass was an assembly of all Hobrxites, each shrouded in blood red cloaks, cog sen for the ones they had lose to the Clans over the years. In the Mass anyone could submit an idea, and the cloaks rendered the speakers equal to each other regardless of caste tattoos. The Mass would vote on the idea, and in this way govern themselves. Umbronx remained in Hobrx for the next twenty years, until she was thirty three years old. Seeing as their reborn nation had not given into corruption once more, she decided to spread this freedom elsewhere. Eventually she reached Uland, a land sick like her land once was, though like Hobrx it can be redeemed in the fires of revolution.
  17. I see Nur as a Crow, not sure exactly why. Maybe it is because they can recognize themselves in mirrors? (see Quest 10)
  18. World conquest. I want world conquest, and I am using this RPG as the foundation. Soon my Chimpanzee infantry will move against Europa and Titan, and we will control the path to Alpha Centauri. ...but seriously, I like this game as some quests force you tho think creatively, and it is fun to imagine another world and create a character. Plus this is like the most social interaction I get, aside from interacting with professors. There are otherfactors too, but they are obvious. Really De'kra and me differ in several aspects, like I am more cynical but less eager to have blood on my hands. Plus I am not as social as him in real life, although we both are not the best at social rules. Luckily I think just comes off as eccentricity, which probably isn't too inaccurate.
  19. Might the Alchemist Alphonse be a reference to a certain Anime?
  20. IC: Even before Nerwen's healing waves restored his health, De'kra was a glow with power. This was his eighteenth victorious battle, not merely a multiple of six and three, but of six times three. Both numbers were always a comfort to De'kra, almost an obsession. And to feel such multiptiude of numbers, that was a powerful elation. De'kra clutched his head as events and worlds began to merge together, flowing into a singular point. Memories realigned themselves, filling him with an unbound synergy. Then in a great burst of comprehension, De'kra understood. He know knew what the island had been, what the city was, what hope had been, and why the evil's might had been so terrible. Everything made sense, everything was connected. Everything, except who he really was. De'kra looked about, looking for the source of the sound. It was in his native tongue, the comforting clucks and chirps of his past. But try as he might, he couldn't see the source. De'kra looked about frantically, before calming down. He recognized this voice, he couldn't place the name, but it was a heroic voice. A voice that was not evil in the slightest. De'kra could trust this entity, he would had to. Especially since this voice knew about the betrayal. Speaking out loud, De'kra clicked, "Before team go further in cave, would healer want one of I potion so they save power next time they wound?" There was a new flavor to his voice, so much richer, yet so much sadder. OOC: And yes, I have been planning this for a long time.
  21. I know what you mean, perhaps you could go the Quest 12 route and give them personality. Or go the Quest 26 route and have them give benefits to the party. Here's a similar idea, could you have sentient beings as weapons, such as a Golem or an Automaton? They could be like the empathic swords some players have (Freud might have something to say about that) but able to move on their own and fight on their own. They would function the same as normal weapons rather than a summon, and damage dealt to them would hurt their controllers, maybe through an empathy link. Any thoughts on this?
  22. So he was sane while he ate and tortured that NPC? I have got to learn more about the culture of Arthur's Homeland, they sound like a very interesting nation if they do that while rational. I probably don't have all the facts since I still can't look at that quest. When will we crossover? Edit: I just realized that Scubacarrot's avatar is a carrot wearing air tanks, A.K.A. a Scuba Carrot. I get +5 basic observation skills.
  23. Shouldn't Xander be able to attack in this turn, since he was revived and all? I have noticed that occuring in other quests.
  24. Upper torso of a Space Police III officer, head of a Jawa, brown cape and hood of a Jedi, short brown legs, black colored hands, one of those silver Ninjago "dagger-tridents" in his right hand, and a small downward facing gray knife in his left hand.
  25. I have a 1000 posts. ...in other news I am not exactly sure how to search for his new design in this "Bricklinks" you speak of. I know what the parts look like and I can find figures with them, but I am thus far unaware of how to get results of individual body parts.
