IC: De'kra nodded sadly and clicked, "I agree, Nerwen is skill healer. If you what to try then go forth, just be careful. Even greatest of champions has moment of weakness., though they often recover even stronger."
-
IC: De'kra spotted Galan making a move for the Lancer and clicked, "You should not risk it. Single hit from any foe, regardless of row, will defeat you right now. You will be knock out at least, dead at most. Team's healer will probably restore you health in time for you turn, but if something goes wrong, you will be incredible vulnerable. It is you decision, but be careful."
-
IC: De'kra strikes down the soldier, only to spot Nerwen and Galen stumble back in pain. "I suggest you two rest through this round," clicked the echo with concern, "and try to heal. Only three of foes are left, rest of heroes and I should be okay." De'kra readies Kapura for an attack on the Mage from the front row. The echo's reserves about attacking the foes are forgotten in this attack, only the fact that two members of the Team were so critically hurt was important. Kapura burned bright in his hand, though the hilt remained cool and calming.
-
IC: De'kra whipped out Kapura once more, relieved that his attack had managed to take out one of the foes. "I will attack Soldier A from front row. Hopefully this battle will be easier and attackers down two combatants. I worry though that Team need hurry, heroes and I still have no clue what Russel up to."

I mostly want to know if you can change from an expert class back to an advanced class, but I figured I might as well ask about advanced to basic first.
-
I have a question about class changes. I know you can change your advanced class after you choose one, so for instance you could go from a Warden to a Druid. And I know they you don't haveto become n advanced class, if I recall that answer right. My question is this; can you move from an advanced class back to a basic class? Could hypothetically a paladin become a knight for instance, if it is uncomfortable with all advanced knight classes? Likewise if you are an expert class but miss your old advanced class, could you revert back?
-
Maybe the class could involve chance and balance? As you said they are a mix between order and chaos, so perhaps that could be reflected in giving them two sets of abilities? So that in battle a die would be rolled before each round, to determine what set of abilities to use. So if it was an even number they would use Ordered themed Misses, Hits, Critical Hits, and so on, but if it was odd then the attacks would be chaotic themed. Maybe the order set of attacks would involve defensive and team buffing abilities, while chaotic would relate to offense and parasitic attacks? Basically it would be like Two-Face, a flip of a coin (or in this case a roll of a die) would decide what they do. Does this make sense, or am I just babbling here?

Good to know. I wonder how interactions between Shockwave and Soundwave will go. Shockwave I usually associate with a logical unemotional mindset, basically evil Spock. And Soundwave thus far seems mostly detached from the other Decepticons, unless Megatron is involved, and I believe it was said that he deleted his emotions to give himself more processor power. So I look forward to seeing how they interact and play off each other. -

I have no clue if you intended the pun, but I enjoyed that you described Optimus Primal as "Guerilla." That reminds me, I believe in the Prime Continuity one of the Thirteen original Transformers had a beast mode. I wonder if that means beast mode Transformers naturally exist on Cybertron. I know about the Insecticons of course, but I am not sure if they are just modified typical Transformers like the Dinobots in Fall of Cybertron. And one reason I am curious is that we know that Cybertron had a caste system before the war, which I think was based on what your alt mode was. For instance I believe the Seekers were some of the elite. So I am curious if all the times Insecticons are called "bugs" by Autobots, they are being called a racist slur. Anyone know anything about this? -
FIC: An ebony translucent figure with a unicycle in place of legs approaches Bilbert, and hands him a card. "My name is Akseronix, De'kra's personal lawyer. We understand you have used De'kra's image illegally in a recent production. At the moment De'kra is not planning on pressing charges, but that is mostly because my client has forgotten he has a lawyer. And his name. However if my client's image is continued to be used without his permission or that of his trustee, we will become more...active in this matter. Don't worry about finding us, we'll find you." Finishing his message, the shadowed entity rolled off before fading entirely.

I can not fantom making a toy called a Transformer that does not transform. It is just madness. The printers irk me too, the Deceptixon Pretenders weren't fooling anyone, and I pretty sure a gigantic human whose body vaguely resembles a jet wouldn't blend in too well. I believe the Pretender technology is what was suppose to develop into the Beast Wars ability to takethe forms of wildlife, but I might be wrong. Wasn't it Beast Wars that also invented the concept of Sparks and Protoforms? I have heard a little of Beast Machines, is it true they got Optimus's characterization all wrong? Or is that mostly fan exaggerated outrage? -

I have to see Beast Wars sometime, I have heard a lot of good things about it. I have heard tales that it saved the brand, though I am not positive on the accuracy of that. Plus it would be interested what happened in G1's future past Pasture. -
That might be a bit too many battles, though I greatly enjoyed Quest 4 and it had 10 battles, if my memories serves faithfully. I guess it depends on how you pass your quest and the area it spans. But I would suggest planning for only five or six battles, unless you are planning for a globe trotting adventure.

Really, I was unaware of the graffiti thing. They did something like that in a Good Man goes to War as well. Yeah I have been enjoying it mostly thus far, though I am sad that we never got to see the Wrecker vesion of Seaspray. Nane drops are fine, but It kind of ruins a death if you never get o see him. He is the only Transformers figure I own, and it would have been useful to have a semi aquatic Autobot in general. If the team goes to a swamp or a body of water right now they are pretty much sunk. Right now I am hoping naively that he survived and will end up crashing half destroyed on an aquatic planet in a possible dual reference to the God Gambit and Sea Change. Agreed, the relic hunting is not the best plot. It kind of reminds me a little of the original Transformers cartoon, or at least what I know based on reruns. From what I know of the G1 Cartoon almost every episode centered around a MacGuffin, from giant purple gryphons to rubies to Wheeljack's immobilizer. And although each episode seemed to center around a new "greatest power in the galaxy," there was a continuity between them, though not as much as in Prime. The only sought after technologies I remember being focused on multiple times was the Space Bridge, and the Dinobots if you want to stretch it. I am not sure if that is intensional, but the fact that one old weapon in season one was called the Immobilizer could be evidence. -
IC: As he winced in pain, De'kra moved to the back row and clicked, "I have idea. I throw I Ice Bomb, which should weaken all foes and ...defeat...Soldier B. It also might deal double damage against Lancer and Elite, though I am not sure of exact stats of hybrids. Hopefully that defeat foes. I also suggest put Sarick, Galan, and I as last three combatants this round, so two heroes and I no worry about free hits." OOC: sorry for taking so long, the power went out.

I know, all this talk of physics has me freaking out! ...Oh, you are talking about whatever crazy things Arthur is doing in Quest 31 right now. I am almost sad the groups split back up, though this situation might not be occurring if that hadn't happened. Plus we have a mission to do and all that.

Battle of the Pointy Hats-Round One You know technically you could have killed De'kra, he just would have come back to life immediately after the battle. After that he would have constantly quoted Lhikan around Arthur, excusing for grammer of course. Luckily you didn't, as I only know so many quotes from my favorite red and golden Toa. (Boo Tahu with Golden Armor) Also, why must all of you tempt me with hints of Quest 31? Especially describing it with the word "epic?"

I did say pretty much everyone. I am not sure if I count "Dc MODOK" as humanoid either, as he is a giant head, but aside from that he fits. I am okay with some humanoid races, but at least make them slightly more alien than "human+bird wings" or "humans with slightly different facial features and a palette change." Of course like Doctor Who before it, translation devices don't explain why their mouth movements match the English translations. I am not sure if this is the topic to mention it, as TF has had it's own page in the past, but has anyone here seen Transformers Prime? -
Great, now we can't make any more rouge jokes. And there were so many left unsaid. ...why must I speak out loud so?

Green Lantern Animated Series has caught my eye as well, though I am not sure how to feel about it yet. The major issue I have with it is that pretty much everyone is humanoid and everyone speaks English, but the latter could be explained by translating technology and the former is probably caused by the source material. Aside from my personal issues with alien physiology I have been enjoying it. I have mixed thoughts on the time skip. I am a little lost, but I figure it will all be explained in due time. I would have preferred that the show be split among two timelinesthough, with flashbacks among the episodes to help bridge the gap. So for instance in the recent episode with Roy, half of it would contain scenes of Roy in the five year gap searching for the original, and his interactions with other searchers. Maybe showing him interacting with Jade in the past, stuff like that. Yeah I have watched Thundercats a few times. Odd that there are so many remakes of old shows are coming out recently. -
IC: De'kra repeats his frontal attack on soldier B , though hopefully his luck will improve from his last attack. As Kapura flares in his hand, the echo briefly notes that the blade feels...different. Kind of heavier than it did before. Of course a battle is not the best time to get distracted, so he pushed the thought aside. However in the back of his consciousness he wondered why the dagger felt so odd.
-
IC: Even as flames burn the Emeraldo Soldier, De'kra readies for a second attack frontal on Soldier B. "Think they already know?" commented De'kra, "I not recall see them earlier, they might be infiltrators." The thought didn't help ease him any, but the fight seemed unavoidable. With Kapura in his hand Kapura began to dance forward, hoping that if the knights would only be knocked out by battle's end, provided they weren't spies.

Except in that Batman Dracula crossover, but I wasn't serious either way.
-
We don't know that, he could just be Batman. Wearing a mask and the rest of the costume so often has to limit your tan, and at least in Batman Beyond the Batcave had tons of bats. Not to mention Batman is also practically made of iron.
-
Well De'kra replied to Arthur's last post there, and asked him to make sure he remembered the information De'kra told him about the Rito, so you have a reason to go back there if you missed it. Just try not to notice what is currently going on.
