Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Official pictures for the Iron Man mech have leaked. Very happy with both the figures. Hopefully the comic based figures with a mech trend will continue. -

I want them to include the pieces of a highly desirable minifigure across multiple blind bags. Minifigure, singular. There’s only one head, one torso, one headpiece, and one set of legs produced and they’re hidden across the world so the only way this minifigure will ever be completed is for four strangers to put aside their own selfish interests and unite to combine their pieces together. -

I believe claybricks said as much when he leaked the Asylum. Falconfan has also hinted it might be the only set. Nothing definite, but I wouldn’t go off and vow to eat a Lego minifigure if DC doesn’t get any more sets. -

At this point, it looks like we might not even get a proper movie tie-in set for Superman. -

X-Men series would have been my first pick too. Then a comic series. After that, any series that would give me more X-Men. -

I wouldn’t worry about it. If you’re able to touch the radiator, I doubt it’s giving off enough heat to have any effect. -

Excessive heat could warp the boxes and fade the ink over time. I’m not sure how much heat we’re talking here, either on your end or how much heat it would take to ruin a Lego box. If you’re really that concerned, you could always put a layer of tinfoil between the boxes and the radiator to reflect the heat away. -
Arkham is getting 10+ figures. Currently on the shelf we have Mr Freeze, Joker, Harley Quinn, Batman, and either Batgirl or Catwoman depending on whether they go the BtAS or comic route (Harley can work for both IMO). So that’s 5 characters they can recycle. Now, look at the X-Mansion. We got 5 new figures, 4 recycles with some part changes, and 1 made with pursuit pieces. Assuming we get something similar, we can easily pass the 10 minifigure count using recycled characters and purist pieces for guards. edit: it’s also worth noting that out of the 5 new figures, 3 of them got leg printing and 4 got new head prints and of the recycled figures, one got new legs and one got a new head. Characters like Riddler, Two Face, Mad Hatter, and Scarecrow could get away without leg printing. Two Face could recycle the head from the Tumbler set (if he’s comic based). Poison Ivy could also get away with a recycled female head. So, arguably, Lego could make more than 5 characters without increasing the number of new printed pieces.

I wasn’t exactly excited for a third Disney+ series, but at least those had variety. Who are we going to get in a Spider-Verse CMF? Gwen, Miles, and Peter? Those three have been done to death. Noir and Spider-Ham. We’ve had plenty of those too. Spider-Man 2099? Honestly, glad to have him again for those who missed out last time, but he’s also not a character who needs the CMF treatment. Green Goblin and Kingpin are too large. Peni Parker makes zero sense without her mech. Doc Ock needs too many pieces for the arms. Same goes for Scorpion and his legs. Maybe Prowler, and Tombstone will happen. And then probably some Spider-Men like Spider-Man India and Spider-Punk. So, when all is said and done, we’re probably looking at three Spider-people that have been done to death, three that have been in sets already, maybe two new villains, and maybe four new Spider-Man variants. IMO, that’s a boring lineup and doesn’t offer anything for anyone who isn’t a big fan of niche Spider-Man variants or these films. I’m sure it will sell well, because it’s Spider-Man, but I probably won’t be picking any up. -
Those 3 could just as well be Marvel. Lego likes to jump around with the set numbers. Case in point, set 76328 released this fall while 76300 is releasing this summer. Both are DC. Another possibility is Lego is just skipping those numbers. They skip numbers all the time, though typically not all in a row like that. The guy who leaked the Arkham info claimed it’s the only other DC set next year and Falconfan has sort of hinted the mech is all we’re getting for Superman. I’m willing to bet those 3 sets are either Marvel or just got skipped.
