Finally, the one Bat-vehicle Lego hasn’t adapted - The Bat-Dumper!

Our buddy is back with another leak. I gotta say, maybe he’s a fake, but his leaks honestly sound like something Lego would do. $60 Fantastic Car with Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, and Mole Man all based on the new movie. It’s be just like Lego to leave out half the team and the main villain, just look at the GotG vol 3 sets. 🤣

It doesn’t help that new episodes of MAwS premiered at midnight on Adult Swim. Maybe I’m just out of touch with how kids view content in this day and age, but I’m fairly certain that is not it.

There’s hints to Apocalypse and Sinister. If you’re looking for a depiction of them in bigfig/minifgure form, you’re out of luck (until Gambit-guy starts posting sketches of the 2027 Modular Apocalypse Pyramid).

The third Joker is the people who bought those sets separately for significantly more money.

Here in the US, we just call those politicians.

Out favorite Gambit-based leaker is seeking attention, er um, has some more “info.” - Hulkbuster (I guess AoU based?) - Sentinel is $60-$70 and includes Gambit, Wolverine, Rogue, and Morph (that X-Jet looks better and better ☠️) - Marvel CMF series 3: Spider-Man, Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Wiccan, Iron Heart, God Loki, Death, and maybe Daredevil The more he talks the more I’m convinced he’s trolling. There’s no way he’s getting info this early.

It’s surprising we’re getting teased this early. Sure, we knew about the Xavier Institute a year and a half in advance, but that hasn’t been the norm. We didn’t know about The Daily Bugle, the Sanctum Sanctorum, and Avengers Tower until 3-4 months in advance.

Counter point: palnetttt replied with “👀” to multiple people saying the D2C should be a modular Arkham Asylum. It certainly seems like he was teasing that, and he is the one who leaked all the January sets for this coming year.

No idea. We’ll probably get a release date when and if we have some confirmation it’s happening.

So far, that Gambit-based leaker is the only one to come out and say it explicitly. But he’s not proven. palnett has kind of teased it could be Arkham, but he wasn’t all that explicit and I could be misreading his “hints.”

I don’t think any of the set names have been leaked. Not sure if you’re talking comic or AoU based, but we are getting a comic Ultron in the Iron Man mech this January. (Personally, I really want comic based versions of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch). There’s a rumor over on the DC thread (with not much to back it up yet) that next year’s modular is Arkham Asylum.

Looks like Lego fixed their site. Set is available on the 4th with Insider early access starting the 1st. Same exact ranking for me, but the Mansion might be #1 once I get my hands on it (I’m an X-Men fan so I’m 100% biased here).

Just guessing, but I think collected means arrested while missing means they’re presumed dead but because it’s the X-Men it’s just as likely they’re lost in time fighting aliens in another dimension.

Does anyone know what hairpiece Gambit actually has? It seems to change with every photo. 😂 Good news for anyone who wants more X-Men sets.

Deadpool is inappropriate, but apparently a school bombing is perfectly ok. 🙄

I guess Jubilee was included in the GWP, just not in the way anyone wanted. 😂

I will never look at Iceman the same way again. 🤣 As far as the quality of the figure, I am overall very happy with how they turned out. My only gripes are with Cyclops and Gambit who should have had dual molded legs (I really don’t think that’s a big ask considering everyone in the Sonic line with the exception of Eggman and Metal Sonic has dual molded legs with printing) and Rogue who really needs a better hairpiece (the legs honestly don’t bug me that much.) The prints all look great. Jean, Iceman, and Bishop (who IMO is fine without sleeves) are all pretty much perfect. Magneto is an improvement over the last two and maybe even the first one. Xavier looks great and I will die on that hill. Wolverine and Storm look as good as they can without just reusing the CMF figures. I also think 10 is fine for a set this size. Obviously, there are characters I wish had made the cut (the absence of Beast is especially bafflingly considering they could just throw in the CMF figure and a third of the building is his lab) but most of the essential players are there.

We don’t even know if it’s happening. I’d guess modular, but I’d prefer it be its own thing like Rivendell.

My first thought when I saw that set was “that looks like it’d make a great Arkham Asylum.” It’s not just a random leaker without a track record. Palnett (the guy who leaked the superheroes sets for this January) dropped a couple of hints that it might be Arkham Asylum (not specifically BtAS, but that makes the most sense). But yeah, obviously we shouldn’t take it as a guarantee until we get something more concrete than a tease. I’m just speculating about it because it beats arguing about what breed of dog is most comic accurate for Krypto (we all know he should be a cat 😝).

Assuming we get something similar to the X-Men Mansion (five new figures, 2 reuse, 2 reuse with new pieces, 1 new character made from existing pieces), I think an ideal figure lineup would be: Batman (reuse) Robin (new) Harley Quinn (reuse) Joker (new face print) Mr Freeze (printed legs) Two Face (new) Riddler (new) Scarecrow (new) Poison Ivy (new) Guard (all reused pieces) No new characters per say, but some highly desirable variants.
