I just hope Lego enjoys taking all my money 💵, because I’m buying those sets day one. Doesn’t even matter if the builds suck, the minifigures suck, or the sets are way overpriced. I will be throwing money at Lego the day those sets drop.

There were plenty of issues. Thinking “hey, we have the big three heroes so this will be a hit” was definitely one of them. Heck, the pitches for the first two films of the universe were literally “dark gritty Batman reboot made money, let’s do the same for Superman” and “Superman and Batman, everyone will see that film.”

Very unfortunate choice of date for that Clayface film. The Batman part II hasn’t even finished the first draft of the script. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets delayed again, or just never happens.

Superman trailer is rumored to drop next week. Looking forward to seeing all the potential sets Lego isn’t going to make.

We’re getting a Creature Commandos series right now, so clearly Gunn and company aren’t basing their decisions on who is popular. The DCEU tried making content based on what was popular and it sucked. I much prefer the DCU method of making content based on what stories the creators want to tell and the quality of the script.

I don’t think there’d be any issue with sticking Deathstroke in a regular set. The only reason Blade, Daredevil, and Deadpool have issues is because they’re almost exclusively known for R TV-MA properties. Deathstroke is best known from Arrow and Teen Titans. The takeaway is you need to turn up your thermostat and stop reading Fantastic 4 comics to fall asleep. 😝 Why would we fight you? You’re right!

I’m thankfully to whoever started that rumor because “Tower of Fate” is such a fun way to describe obviously false rumors and to talk about things that will never happen. Creature Commandos? Peacemaker? Deadpool? They’re all included in the upcoming Tower of Fate.

DC advent calendar has already been ruled out.

Yeah, there’s no way we’re getting Clayface movie sets. The film will probably be rated R, given how DC has handled their other villain solo projects. You’re probably right that Lego would go the buildable figure route instead of making a minifigure or a bigfig for him. I’d be down for any of those three, tbh. Anything to take a break from Joker and Harley.

I’ve been trying to find where I got 12 from, but I can’t. I guess it’s just a number I made up. Sorry about the confusion. Creature Commandos is currently getting a series so I don’t think popularity is a prerequisite. I’d assume it takes places in either the DCU main since they already have a Clayface cast or is another elseworld film. I doubt it’s in the Reeves Universe when 1) the character hasn’t been introduced yet in that universe 2) that character wouldn’t fit into that universe 3) if it was, the press release would probably mention it. As far as sets are related though, it’s probably a moot point since it’ll probably be rated R if DC’s other villain franchises are anything to go off of. I’m just thinking Lego might pull another 2016 Suicide Squad and throw him in a regular Batman set to cash in his likely rise in popularity.

A Clayface movie is officially in the works. Not sure what it’ll end up being rated, but our odds of getting a Clayface figure might have just gone up.

Minifigure Bane will be included in the Tower of Fate.

If we get one, I’ll consider a victory. If the number is indeed only 12, I expect all will be repeats of characters we’ve already gotten.

The new Lego Poison Ivy in Fortine is what I want for Arkham. A green skinned variant is long overdue, IMO.

He’s a fan of Green Lantern. The only DC fans who have it worse are Flash fans.

It’s gonna be hard to be less interesting than a giant black box with a Batman logo cut out of it. If DC gets a comic based CMF in 2026, I will eat every minifigure. That’s how confident I am it won’t happen.
