  2. Yeah, I know what you mean, I just don't think changing the gender of the lead character would make it different enough from Adventurers, PQ, and Indy to warrant a new (sub)theme. Perhaps if it takes place in a completely new location or has some new kind of bad guy faction it could be interesting. What did you have in mind?
  3. Isn't she basically a female version of Johnny Thunder/Indiana Jones/Nathan Drake/etc.? Unless you're talking about the reboot, which is WAY too violent for Lego. However, that does give me an idea... How about a Gilligan's Island/Lost type of theme about a group of characters getting stranded on an uncharted island? The sets could consist of make-shift vehicles, weapons, or base camps, and for conflict, they could include wild animals or Islanders, which would be an interesting way to reintroduce that subtheme.
  4. Does it come in Black?
  5. Someone earlier in this thread suggested using Falcon's head for Static Shock, which I thought was a great idea, so here he is, together with Gear! I'm quite happy with how they turned out, although the old Nightwing hair might have been more accurate (and would have made Static look less like a black Harry Potter in a costume ) but I don't have it. Static Shock and Gear by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I know little to nothing about The Green Hornet, but one thing I do know is that he is supposed to be the descendant of the Lone Ranger, so the irony of using the Lone Ranger's head for a custom Green Hornet fig was too good to pass up. Green Hornet and Kato by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Going back to DC, here is my purist custom Lucius Fox / Morgan Freeman using the EIA Edition Vitruvius head. 6. Ah, thanks. Although I still don't know what he was trying to say with that comment... And yes, you really should. Well, technically Karai is the one with the Loki backstory, but yeah, the elements are there! Thanks! Thanks! Hm, interesting, I didn't know about those. I'd definitely like to see someone try to recreate those characters with minifigs.
  7. You know, I could actually see those two playing Joker and Harley... Not very well, if I might add. I saw the remake in the theater too, but unlike you, I did watch the original all the way through the day before, and I think the original is far superior. If you had watched it, you would know that. Yes, it is dated and yes, remakes should be more than just remakes of the original, but the original accomplished so much more than the remake did. I do like what they were going for with the story in the remake, but it was so unsubtle and badly executed that it just didn't work. The acting was mediocre and the supporting characters were boring and useless. As for the action, it was very lacking, not just compared to the original, but action movies in general. Ultimately, there was nothing memorable about the remake whereas the original will always be remembered for it's great characters, themes, and action scenes.
  8. Thanks! Do you mind elaborating on that? What are KO minifigs and what kind of experiments are you planning to do with them?
  9. Thank you all! Yes, I was surprised myself how perfectly all these characters match each other once I started thinking about it. Thanks. I think this head would be more accurate, but unfortunately I don't have it. Let's hope we get an official Casey in the next wave. True, although it is the wrong shade of green for Raphael. Color-wise, his and Donnie's head should probably be switched to match their bodies, but I think it fits so much better personality wise this way. It kind of is.
  10. In an alternate universe where TMNT and Avengers are the same thing, a new team of heroes has been assembled: The Teenage Mutant Avenger Turtles! Known as the Turtlevengers, they fight against crime, alien invaders, and all kinds of sci-fi threats. TMAT by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Here is the main team of superheroes in a half shell. Captain Leonardo is the leader in (red, white, and) blue and does anything to get his avengers through. Donnie Stark has a way with machines, so he created a high-tech, full-body "shell" for himself. The Incredible Raph tends to loose his temper and mutates into a big green(er) rage monster. Michel-Thorgelo is one of a kind. He loves the food and entertainment that the human world has to offer and he always goes into battle swinging his weapon around and shouting his catchphrase. Turtlevengers Assemble! by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr These are the friends of the Turtlevengers. Hamato Fury, aka. Splinter is the dark-skinned man who created the Turtlevengers. He is also the one who trained April Romanov, the red-haired friend of the Turtlevengers, and Casey Barton, who has a relationship with April and whose weapon of choice is sports equipment. TMAT Allies by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Oroku Loki, aka. the Shredder is the Turtlevengers' arch enemy and likes to wear a pointy helmet, a cape, and pointy weapons. He leads an army of Kraangtauri, an alien race of generic soldiers in shiny armor who entered this world through a portal, in a quest to conquer the world. TMAT Villains by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I hope you enjoyed this little crossover.

    Ah, that makes sense, thanks.
  14. Awesome recreation, Chris! The Schwartz is strong in this one! The Eagle 5 is spot-on! Does it have an interior? If so, I would love to see it!

    MOD: Bat-Ecto-1

Thank you! Thanks! And yes, yes there has. This vehicle should be very useful for fighting Gentleman Ghost!
  16. When there's something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? BATMAN! Bat-Ecto-1 by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr In order to allow Batman to fight ghosts, I have modified the Ecto-1 to look like the Batmobile that Adam West drove in the 60's. It has the same black and red color scheme and features the Batman logo on the side instead of the Ghostbusters one. Bat-Ecto-1 side by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And in the back, there is the obligatory jet exhaust again, plus those two black boxes that are next to it, whatever they are which contain the parachutes. Bat-Ecto-1 back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr As always, comments and criticisms are welcome. To the Bat-Ecto!
  17. Robin: "Jumping Jigowatts, Batman! Are you telling me that you built a Batmobile... out of a DeLorean time machine?" Batman: "The way I see it, if you're gonna to build a time machine into a Batmobile, why not do it with some style." Bat-DeLorean by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr This is an idea I had a while ago, but I didn't have time to build it with real bricks, so I did it in LDD instead. Apparently it traveled back in time to the wild west, before Gotham City was founded. Bat-DeLorean side by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Aside from changing the colors, I didn't really do much. I only switched out the exhausts for bat wings, added the obligatory jet exhaust, and smoothed out the hood a bit. Bat-DeLorean back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions for improvements in the comments. I might do an Ecto-1 Batmobile next. Thanks for your time. See what I did there?
  18. Sorry for the double post, but here are some new funnies: Back To The Future Past by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here's some fun with the new TMNT figs. I hope these aren't considered racist against bat or crocodile people. Wrong Man Bat by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Craggerhead by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  19. Nice funnies guys! And thanks for all the compliments! Yup. You should really at least watch the first episode so that you can get these references.
  20. Sweet. I'm looking forward to this game and any sets we might get based on it. I don't know why they use this design for MM or why GL has green gloves in the trailer, but I hope this is yet another sign that we will finally get GL and hopefully Cyborg in a set soon. I think I liked Cyborg's classic look from the last game better, but I wont complain if we get this one. Batman's spacesuit and WW's new silver outfit look surprisingly good as well, so I wouldn't mind getting those either. I hope we will get a set with Brainiac in his skull-shaped ship versus Space Batman, GL, Cyborg, and maybe Wonder Woman.
  21. Yes, Silent Nomad on Flickr already told me about it. As Digger318 says in the video, I already talked to him and he was kind enough to give me credit on both his videos. This is quite upsetting. While I am flattered that they chose to copy my designs, I don't like that they are making a profit with it without my (or TLG's) consent, but I guess there's not much I can do about it. I really hope that Lego shuts all these bootleg sellers down soon and that people who want to buy my Racers will support my projects instead of buying these cheap knock-offs.
  22. Here are some more Dark & Light side comparisons that I have been working on for quite some time: The Dark Side of the Robot by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr This one didn't line up as well as I had hoped, but here it is anyway: The Dark Side of the Spaceman by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  23. Great pictures guys! Here's another entry in my Light & Dark Side series: The Dark Side of the Sailor Droid by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  24. Yeah, that does seem a bit odd... Maybe they didn't want anyone to think that it's part of the MCU? I'm sure the final movie credits will have some kind of mention of Marvel.
  25. Not really Pixar, but it is Disney, so here is the teaser for Big Hero 6: I gotta say, this looks fun. I was a bit skeptical about this film since I don't know anything about the comics, but based on this cute trailer, I have a good feeling that Disney is gonna keep their streak going with this one.
