  1. Thank you! Today's vehicle is a bit unusual: a sled with bat wings and jet propulsion. I wonder who could be riding it? Day 23: Batsled DCSAC Day 23: Batsled by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Batsled.lxf
  2. Day 22: Riddler Dragster DCSAC Day 22: Riddler Dragster by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Riddler Dragster.lxf
  3. Thanks! I know what you mean, but that would have driven the already high piece count up and wouldn't have looked quite so cute/chibi.

  5. Thanks! Day 20: Joker Elf Henchman The Joker can't ruin Christmas all by himself, so he hired a few little helpers such as this henchman to assist him in his crimes and forces them to wear pointy hats and fake elf ears. DCSAC Day 20: Joker Elf Henchman by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  6. Thank you! Today we have another villain ship, and just like the designers of the original ship, I took inspiration from the Gungan Sub for this one. Day 19: Black Zero Dropship DCSAC Day 19: Black Zero Dropship by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Black Zero Dropship.lxf

  9. Woohoo! Looks like luck has been on my side lately! Thanks again for organizing this great raffle again! I'd be even happier if one of the Prize A winners would be willing to trade their prize for my Prize F, so let me know if anyone is interested, but I'm happy either way. Congrats to the other winners and happy holidays everyone!
  10. Thanks again! What's better than a snowman? Day 16: SnowBatman DCSAC Da616: SnowBatman by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr SnowBatman2.lxf
  11. Thanks! Well, the official Lego model does have some blue accents, but not the real thing. Besides, even if this was based on the set, the blue bits are too small to recreate at this scale. Maybe next year when there will be AOU sets to base some of the microbuilds on (and probably a bunch more Spider-Man ones). 12. To contrast Joker's colorful steamroller, today we have another one of the Dark Knight's vehicles: Day 14: The Bat DCSAC Day 14: The Bat by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr The Bat.lxf
  13. Yeah, I noticed that too... Maybe she's bisexual. Yeah, that did seem quite unrealistic, but this is a cartoon about living toys, so realism is out the window to begin with. Maybe one of his parents works for the toy company that produced the Battlesaurs and got them cheap? Regarding your first point about how the real-life toys have never been as good as the on-screen ones, I completely agree. I've always been jealous of Andy, Bonnie, and all the other kids living in the Toy Story universe because that world has some AMAZING toy designers! Buzz Lightyear alone is a marvel of engineering with all the different play features he has! Not even the supposedly accurate Toy Story Collection Buzz had the karate chop action or wingspan of the one in the movies/shorts. And the Battlesaurs had an impressive amount of play features too, particularly that motorized cabinet with robotic action figure accessories that apparently allow you to remote control the figures! Some of these features are just too intricate to be feasible for a real toy company to produce. Indeed. They must have been a lot of fun to design. I've been playing with the idea of MOCing some of them. If only the Dino or Jurassic World dinos were more customizable...
  14. OK, I'm just gonna say this: This movie looks friggin hilarious! Can't wait!
  15. Thanks guys! Nah, everyone hates catapults. I made this instead: Day 13: Joker's Steamroller DCSAC Day 13: Joker's Steamroller by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Joker Steamroller 2.lxf
  16. Well, at least that would be humorous. I'd prefer that over a bunch of random specific themes, so I'm sticking to my statement. (But obviously that's not the ideal description.)
  17. Well then I guess it's time for another minifigure! And what would a DC Advent Calendar be without the Joker! Here he is in a festive outfit based on the second episode of Batman: The Animated Series, Christmas With The Joker. DCSAC Day 12: Holiday Joker by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  18. Great work! I'd say you succeeded in your goals. You can clearly tell what's going on and it's a very typical Spider-Man scene! I think Ma Cop's hairpiece would have been a lot better for Aunt May, but Vitruvius' hair is an interesting choice. Lots of nice detail in Peter's room too. I look forward to seeing more Superhero MOCs from you!
  19. They are weightlifting weights. Day 11: Green Lantern Jet DCSAC Day 11: Green Lantern Jet by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr GL Jet.lxf
  20. Not sure if you're joking, but that's actually very accurate. Let's face it, at the rate at which Lego releases new licensed themes nowadays, it's hard to keep up with what's current or popular, so even if the description does finally get updated, it will be obsolete again in a few months or at least years. And who knows how long it would then take to get it updated again. So yeah, I'd say the new description should be something along the lines of "Disney, Harry Potter, Super Heroes, Nickelodeon, and other themes based on movies, TV shows, and videogames." It may be very vague, but this way it would be broad enough so it can be kept for a long time. I don't have a problem with saying Disney because the only two exceptions are SW and PotC and it's pretty clear by the descriptions of the other forums that those don't belong in Licensed. Honestly, anything would be better than the current description at this point, so whatever the admins decide on, I just hope they change it soon. Pretty please!

  24. Today I made another minifig-scale build to stay in Lego advent calendar tradition: a weapons rack! Day 7: Bat-Gear DCSAC Day 7: Bat-Gear by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Bat Gear.lxf
  25. Thanks again! Today's build is meant to go along with yesterday's Batwing: Day 6: Jokercopter DCSAC Day 6: Jokercopter by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Jokercopter.lxf
