I don't remember them giving any details as to when and where this will be released and there was no comment on if this will have any connection to Maximum Overload, although I think it's possible.

Some pics of the Batmobile from SDCC: SDCC 2015 - Batmobile by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr SDCC 2015 - Batmobile back by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr By the way, I saw the world premiere of LEGO DC Super Heroes: Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom! and it was great! Much better than expected. This is the first Lego Super Heroes movie I have seen that actually felt like a genuine superhero movie with an interesting story that we haven't really seen before. Except it features minifigs and has the signature Lego humor thrown in (my favorite joke was a pun about the New 52). If I wasn't already planning to get the Blu-Ray for the Trickster minifig, I'd be buying it anyway! There is some sequel bait at the end, so I hope that means there is more to come!

At San Diego Comic Con during the Lego Marvel Super Heroes panel, they announced a new animated movie called Avengers Reassembled! It's about Ultron taking control of Iron Man's armors and attacking the Avengers during a party at the Avengers Tower. Other Marvel characters are said to appear, including Ant-Man and Yellow Jacket. Here is the teaser trailer: SDCC 2015 - Lego Marvel Superheroes: Avengers Reassembled teaser trailer by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr And here is an animation test showing the process steps: SDCC 2015 - Lego Marvel's Avengers Reassembled animation test by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Do you think this will come with an exclusive minifig? At last, it appears we are finally getting a Wreck-It-Ralph sequel! http://comicbook.com/2015/07/13/john-c-reilly-confirms-wreck-it-ralph-2/

So I went to SDCC and there was no sign of Angry Birds at the Lego booth... Did I miss something or were the reports of a set being revealed at SDCC a hoax? This doesn't exactly help to boost confidence in this theme.

Like many here apparently, I don't really buy Ninjago (despite being a fan of the cartoon). I only get a set every once in a while for parts. But man, this set is very tempting! It's so beautifully designed and comes with all the main characters plus a few civilians! I love that they included part of the surrounding village and all the little details! I especially love the shadow puppet theater and the box with "Cole's Stuff - Hands off!"

EVERYTHING IS SOLO! Christopher Miller and Phil Lord to Helm Han Solo Anthology Film Uhm... Interesting choice. Not sure if two guys who are mostly known for comedies can pull off a genuine Star Wars movie, but we'll have to wait and see.

Pixar Animation Studios and Films Discussion
Oky replied to just2good's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Our first look at Sanjay's Super Team, the short film that will accompany The Good Dinosaur. Honestly, the style looks kind of odd and not very Pixar in my opinion, but I'm still curious to see it.- 279 replies

What cut scene? Please explain what you're talking about. Whatever you saw, it was probably a teaser for the BTTF level pack in Lego Dimensions. That's as close as we are ever going to get to a Lego BTTF game.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Oky replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't think they would revisit those themes, especially since at least half of them were flops. Although if they were to revisit Toy Story to give us some of the characters that we never got in that theme, I'm all for it (Bo Peep anyone? ). Haha, yes, it seems strange, but I could see it happen. In fact, I see it happen every time I visit Disneyland. Which makes me think... What if we get a D2C set to go along with these figs like we did for the Simpsons? Like a UCS Disneyland castle? Nobody ever said anything about them redoing the same sets with minifigures. This rumor is about a CMF line, so if anything, they will just make minifigure versions of the princesses. The point of this would be to make figures that would appeal to a wider audience. While the minidoll sets are specifically aimed at little girls, CMFs appeal to pretty much anyone. There are even little girls who prefer minifigures over minidolls. Good points. I agree that if they give us a wide variety of characters and retain the high number of male characters as in other CMF lines, it would make them appealing to everyone, even the boys. If they throw in some princesses along with other (male) main characters from their respective movies like in your Aladdin example, it would encourage the boys to "collect them all". So that's what I'm expecting.- 4,155 replies

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Oky replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
It would literally bring me a lot of Joy if they made Inside Out minifigs! Even though they would take up a third of a series if they include all five emotions in one series. Agreed. I've been trying to recreate these characters in LDD actually and that's exactly how I made them (except for the Black Widow hair which is not available in LDD). I used the Spongebob head for Anger which works fairly well, but I would prefer a new head mold for him and Fear of course. I think they could do Tinkerbell. After all, we have gotten out-of-scale minifigs in CMFs before, like the fairy or the garden gnome. Sure, she'd be out of scale with the rest of the figs, but so were the Toy Story Army Men. Disney wouldn't let scale inaccuracies get in the way of selling minifigs of one of their most iconic characters. Two words: part re-usage. They already have the hair molds for them, so it would be easy and cheap for them to make minifig versions of them and I'm sure there is a fair number of people who would want minifig versions of them, even if they already have the dolls. While I wouldn't want the entire line to be about princesses either, I certainly wouldn't mind if they were included along with other characters. Maybe each series could have a theme? One could be Pixar, the next could be Princesses/Disney Classics, and then Mickey & friends?- 4,155 replies

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

You know, he said that it was legit from the beginning, it's just that most people didn't believe him because of what day it was, so this doesn't change anything. There is still the chance that his source might have been pranking him, but J2G seems to trust his source, so I trust him. Maybe just because I really, really want this to be true. We'll just have to wait until some kind of confirmation surfaces. I wonder what the chances are that they might announce this at D23? Doesn't Mickey count as "animated canon"? I don't see why they can't do both. However, I doubt that any live-action properties will be included, mainly because we already had a whole line based on the only one that was ever truly popular (PotC) as well as two not so popular ones (PoP & LR).- 4,155 replies

I'm not as opposed to this theme as most people seem to be, but even I have to admit that this looks more Duplo than I would have liked, although it is at least accurate to the source material, so I can't fault Lego on that. I'll be at SDCC, so I look forward to seeing these in person.

It looks light gray to me, but if the final piece is indeed silver, it would be even better. I don't think there would be enough reason for people to buy the set if it only included one main character. The last movie based wave had both Supes and Zod in every set, even the $10 one, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same for BvS, although there is a much wider variety of characters to choose from this time.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. It looks pretty cool to me and it's probably as detailed/accurate as it can be at this scale, at least for an official set. I really like the new windshield, especially since it can open like the real thing. True, the exclusion of the front wheel armor is a bit strange and makes it look a bit like a buggy, but that should be an easy mod. The minifig doesn't seem too different from the one from the Jokerland set, but at least it will be much more affordable. And I'm surprised no one has pointed this out yet, but we FINALLY get a new batarang color! This is something I've been wanting since wave 1 and I'm surprised it has taken them this long to make a variation of that piece. Hopefully we will get more colors in the future, like silver or trans. light blue. I'm guessing the other two figs will be either Superman or Lex Luthor (considering there is another vehicle included) and a secondary character. I really hope we get Alfred in this wave. I would prefer a classic comic version over the Jeremy Irons version, but I'll take what I can get.

Two weeks ago, a little movie called Jurassic World came out and made all the money, so here are a few Jurassic funnies to commemorate its success. So what do you guys think of the Zootopia teaser? I think it looks fun and look forward to seeing how this turns out. Although that pun at the end was pretty painful.

Current List of Marvel Villains - also who do we want, officially?
Oky replied to Krikkit's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh, I see. Yeah, it always depends on the iteration, but they are clearly portrayed as the villains in the sets and in the cartoons the sets are based on. -
Pixar Animation Studios and Films Discussion

I just saw it as well and I agree! Brilliant idea and brilliantly executed! The feels, oh the feels! Great humor, too, as expected. And the romantic short at the beginning fit very well with the movie. The film sets itself up for a sequel perfectly, which is not a bad thing, though I'm not sure I want them to do even more sequels. The Good Dinosaur will have a very hard time living up to this one, although I'm still optimistic that it will at least be decent.- 279 replies

You're also missing Winter Soldier, Yellow Jacket, Taskmaster, and the Collector. And Deadpool, technically. So yeah, I wouldn't say that there is such a distinct lack of Marvel villains as there used to be a couple years ago. By the way, why are you counting the Ultron sentries if you're not counting henchmen? I think there is already a thread for wishlists... -
The "Show Your Armies" thread: Licensed Themes Edition!
Oky replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks! I guess you're right! I got all of the Toy Story accessories, even the alarm clocks (as you already know), except for the watches. The only Toy Story related Lego products that I don't have are the Duplo sets and the promo bricks. I always kinda wanted the Duplo sets, especially the Pizza Planet Truck, but I never saw them at a decent price. Oh well. Wow, that sounds like quite a collection! Can't wait to see some of it!
