Those are some pretty nifty minis! Can't tell which one I like best. I love minis! They are the best thing when it comes to swooshability! Minis ON!
-
Erm... I don't see what's supposed to be different. The only difference I see is that the stickers look a little darker on the pic of the actual set.

Which is your favorite Star Wars movie?

He can, but I don't think that's what darkrebellion wants, though. He wants to know which one you like specifically! So, choose. -

Which is your favorite Star Wars movie?

Oh? So, you had the pleasure of watching the saga in the right order, eh? I wasn't so lucky. The first film I saw was Episode VI: RotJ. It had just come into theaters and my dad reckoned I might like it, so he took me there. Let me tell you, it's not the best place to get into the saga. I didn't have a clue what was going on! But I enjoyed it nevertheless, so my parents rented the other OT films for me. And so, after seeing Ep. IV & V, I watched RotJ again and finally understood it. That's when I started to become a SW fan. Then Episode 1 came into theaters and I must say I enjoyed it just as much as you, Jim. Podracing is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, Darth Maul is the shit, and back then, I thought Jar Jar is actually kinda likable. Now, after watching the movie over and over, I must admit that he is getting a bit annoying, though. Podracing ON! -
Wait a minute! It's a secret base that we found out about just by the end of the last chapter. How the heck are we supposed to have acquired blueprints? No, I don't think so. Just a lightsaber. He is filling in the gap in Adam's post. It's kind of a flashback. And it was never said that Will and 8P-4C (BPac) are not with us, so they could very well have boarded the gunship with us during that gap. Sure.
-
Ah, good to see you finally posting, BPac! I was worried that you might have changed your mind about joining. Oh well. Just let that coward have his fun. Jim inspected the electronic key for a while, then he said: "Sorry, Will, I have no clue. But keep it with you; it might become useful later! Now, go back down to that secret room and see what you can find. Then, come back as soon as you can, we don't have much time!" "Will do, Jim" said Will and hurried off. In that moment, an RGS descended from the sky and landed right next to them. As the side dorrs slid open, they could see the man in charge. "Wouwie!" everyone who knew him said. "There you are - finally" Jim said. "Where the heck are your troops?" "I told them to attack the droid forces." said Wouwie proudly. "Never mind those! Tell them to attack the separatist base! With everything they've got!" "Oh... alright" said Wouwie disappointed, having thought to have done something right for once. He did as he was told, and shortly thereafter, the ships turned around and flew to the CIS base. Once there, they dropped all their bombs and fired their heaviest weapons, but to no avail. All the bombs and shots were caught by a large deflector shield that surrounded the facility. "It's worse than I feared" said Oky Wan. "That's a very powerful deflector shield. The only way to take it out would be from the inside." "Which means that we might as well go into the enemy base and destroy the time machine at its location" added Jim grimly. "Wouwie, tell your pilot to get ready to take off again. We will fly toward the edge of that shield and then continue on foot." Jim turned around to the others and said: "Who wants to help us infiltrate the base?" Now you can meet up with BPac, Death Star, and bring him up to us so that you can join us if you want.

Which is your favorite Star Wars movie?

You can hate me for it, but my favorite is Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith! I am a big fan of animation, and seeing a SW movie that consists to 90% of top-notch animation was a dream to me! I think that SW was made for animation, and apparently, George seems to think so too. Besides, it features Obi Wan in his best years, General Grievous (one of my favorite SW characters), Mace Windu (the most badass Jedi ) and many other Jedi (even though they are only shown in their death scenes ), and Phase 2 clones (my favorite kind of clone). Also, this film shows most of the CW, my favorite era of the SW universe. You are a Knight, so why don't you make a poll out of this, darkrebellion? If you like RotJ so much, then you might want to consider copying the quote in my sig to yours! -
Right you are! Seriously, guys, what's wrong with you? It was only a few posts ago that we said that there shouldn't be any more large armies arriving!
-
Wow. That's just sad. So much obsession about a crappy cartoon aint good for you, you know.
-
Very funny, you jerk. You need some kind of credibility to post rumors, especially obviously bogus ones like that! Keep it up, and you'll get banned sooner than you can say "Code Lyoko sucks". And whose name am I supposed to spell right? If you're refering to my EB name, it's not what you think it's supposed to be. Click here to understand it. I hate to break it to you, but that must have been a cheap knock-off brand. PS: I have a good feeling of who you really are, Ulrich! I'm whatching you, buddy!

I really don't think that the rumored speeder is a STAP because it would never fit inside the AAT with its long, transparent stand. And have you ever seen one without a stand? Of course not, because the whole STAP is built around that stand, so it would be hard to remove it in order to fit it inside the AAT. Besides, if it were an STAP, why would TLG hide it from us? They would show the second BD riding it along side the AAT in the attempt to attract people to buy the set even more. No, since it's hidden, it's probably something insignificant like Darth Maul's speeder in the Sith Infiltrator that is only shown in a small pic on the back of the box. Yes, I know, but why doesn't TLG give them blue torsos for crying out loud?
-
Hm, this is exciting. I knew a lot of the new sets would come out this year, but not this early! A pleasant surprise indeed. I wonder if my Imagination Center has 'em... I'll check on Monday.
-
Oh no, you're right! I hate this kind of BD. Why, TLG, why? If they are supposed to be pilots, at least give them a blue torso, dammit!
-
Yeah, thanks for the link, dude! I like that Yoda has hair... Makes him look the more accurate. I might end up liking this CW Yoda better than the old one after all. Good eye! I really like that piece, so I'm happy we're getting it in different colors! These seem to be black. I hope we'll get these in silver or grey at some point; that would be so great for greebling! Hm, yeah, that's rather strange... especially since we haven't seen any speeder in any of the prelim pics. However, I can imagine that one could fit in the back or the under that big, hinged, smooth piece on top of the AAT. I hope it's a typo, though, since I'd rather have some interior. Either way, this set is turning out to be an absolute must-buy!
-
Exactly. That's where things started to get out of hand. Ya, ok, that's what I thought you meant. Thanks. Well, according to PSAs of the 50's, hiding under a table does in fact protect you from a nuclear blast. Not exactly... A few minutes earlier: Jim, Thok, and Oky Wan stayed hidden behind the giant plant where they had been during the explosion of the detonators. A few droids were still roaming around looking for them. Suddenly, Oky's comlink beeped. Oky answered, and a few whistling sounds came out of the comlink. "It's the R4 unit from our ARC 170! He says he has a transmition from Wouwie's cruiser" Oky told the others. "Tell it to record the message," said Jim, "We don't have time for that now." Oky did as he was told. Once he had hung up, he said: "Why, what is it, Jim?" "Look!" Jim pointed at a large hover transport, driven by droids, with an even larger missile on it, that moved slowly toward the communications outpost. "Are they crazy?!" Thok exclaimed. "They can't honestly be planning to nuke the place!" "You better believe it." Jim said grimly. "We can't outrun that," Oky Wan said, "we need to find a place to hide!" He looked around. There was a crashed freighter lying amongst some oversized plants not far from them. "Over there!" Oky Wan called. They all ran over and entered the wreckage. Inside, they looked for something that could protect them against the rays. After a minute or so, Oky Wan found the solution to their problem: a refrigerator! ( ) "Are you nuts!" Thok said outraged. "Don't worry; I've seen this in a movie once!" Oky Wan assured him and emptied the inside of the fridge with a few moves of his hand. They all got in, and not a second too early. Once Oky had closed the door, they could hear a loud noise, and the next thing they knew, they were flying through the air. They landed hard and were flung out of the fridge immediately. Slowly, they got up, and to their pleasant surprise, they seemed to have landed right in front of the outpost. They sighed in relief when they saw Garviel, Adam, Pr0, and a few clones coming out of the remains of the outpost, unharmed. At last, they were all reunited! Get the reference? Anyway, can we please stop all the ridiculous Easter Island, giant army, and atom bomb stories and start taking the storyline of this game seriously? Thanks.
-
Oh come on - an atom bomb?! Aren't we taking it a little too far here, guys? As Jim said, this was all supposed to be secret mission! Oh well, I guess it's too late to go back now... Actually, it's his future self that you know from Hoth and who is talking to Pr0. He helped you and Adam defend Echo Base from the empire and then came back to the present together with you, remember? You never met his present self, and he is the one fighting droids far away. What bunker are you talking about btw?
-
I don't know, you tell me! You made the pic and chose to include him, so who is he supposed to be? If you ask me, though, it kinda looks like Adam used to look back in Chapter 3, but it can't be him, since he is in your pic with his new look. Is that perhaps Bob with a black helmet instead of a red one? Seconded. And they can't be "killed" either, but perhaps "destroyed".
-
Oh boy, if that's true, I'll be so happy! I've been wanting that torrent ever since I saw the pics of it, and now I can just pick it up from my local target store! And that Soulless One... it's not bad, but seems a bit deformed. Being a Grievous fan, I might get one of those too. But wait... Are they being sold together, or why are they on the same page? That wouldn't make much sense looking at the price. What does the "AST" stand for? And are they really available already?
-
Of course you can post pics! In fact, you really should! Because how are we supposed to give you tips on how to mod a MOC if we have no idea how it looks like! Just try to keep it under 10 pics or so. Also, you should specify on where you want to install these missiles and what kind of missiles they should be. Are they supposed to actually shoot, or just be stored? Are they MOCs as well or are they something like those missile launchers on the under side of the AT-TE? And you might want to try to find a better English translator.
-
Not according to this reference pic: This is from the old cartoon. I'm not sure about how they are in the new one, but I think they stand straight there too. However, isn't this something a little modding could fix?

Hello there! I have been observing the topics over at the Lego Star Wars forum for a while now, and there was something that has been bugging me. Everytime people started discussions about Star Wars that were not related with Lego, they got silenced by mods for not posting these in the right thread. The problem is: There was no right thread! Therefore, I decided to open up this highly overdue topic so that the SW fans here on EB have a place to talk about their favorite saga! Discuss, ask questions, share news and rumors, and simply geek out! Perhaps this could even be pinned? That would be great! To start things off, here are some SW discussions of the hilarious kind: Clerks (Note the soundtrack! ) Clerks 2 (This one's much better IMHO! ) And here is some news: One or two weeks ago, Samuel L. Jackson presented George Lucas with the Scream 2008 Icon Award on behalf of Comic Con! Click here to see the video and the awesome SW tribute that they showed on that night! Enjoy! And may the force be with you!

Anyway... back on topic: Finally a new episode this Friday! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a webcomic for it, though.
