  1. 1) Seriously! Everyone is turning into a Jedi lately. 2) Making chapter summaries is actually my job but if you really really want to, you can make one too. Let's make it a race shall we? The summary that gets done first, will be official. Ready, Set, GO! JK 3) Since only few of us (if anyone) has the Rogue Shadow, we won't be able to recreate that. Any alternative? 4)Well, we never really agreed on a specific time, but we did say that it's halfway through the clone wars, around 20 BBY when the clones were switching from Phase 1 to Phase 2 armor (so that you can use any kind you have/want to in your picture posts ). And seeing as Bequin seems to be the new Assajj Ventress, we have to assume that Ventress has been defeated, which means that this game is set sometime after the happenings of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. What does it matter for you anyway?
  2. Good ending post, Jim! Even though it's kinda sad. The only thing that I have to add to the story is pictures - I have not posted any during this chapter. So, I will need to find some time and take and upload some to meet the requirement of at least one pic per chapter. I am pretty sure that the two Death Stars are the same. Both are from Alberta, Canada, they like the same three lego themes, and they have the same Avatar. Coincidence? I don't think so. So, someone should report to an admin, and if they confirm this and are OK with it, we can ask DS to rejoin for the next chapter. I think I'll keep my outfit for the next chapter. I really like how I look in that jet trooper armor, and a jetpack will probably be useful on Felucia. See you there!
  3. Yeah, I totally agree with you here, yellost. Although I usually don't mind some slapstick, I don't like the lack of menace from the bad guys in this show either. I don't think that Grievous is useless - in fact I think he is portrayed quite well. Up until now, he has done nothing but command a ship, but that will change later on, as you can see here and here. I, too, was kinda pissed off that Grievous has a cough in this show, though. However, I read an explanation for that somewhere. It said that Grievous' organs never completely adjusted to his droid body, so he always had a bit of a cough. When Mace crushed his chest, it just got much worse. That kind of makes sense, since he was coughing all the time during ROTS and has only coughed once or twice in the last two episodes of the show. As long as it stays this rare, I don't mind his cough. There is another negative thing I noticed about Grievous, though: He only has 4 fingers on each hand! Usually I would disregard that as part of his cartoonish design, but if he is to split his arms at some point, he will only have 2 fingers for each lightsaber! And I don't see how you could effectively hold a lightsaber in your hand with only 2 fingers. Oh well... And you're right: Ventress is pretty cool, and Ahsoka is kinda cute. I really hope that there will be an episode showcasing some Mace Windu action soon!
  4. That's a very good post, JD, but it's obvious that you're confused since you seem to think that we're still on Hoth. We're not on the planet, we're in the orbit of it (meaning in space) and there is nothing for you to stand on besides the gunship and maybe droid fighters or asteroids. Therefore, it would be good if you could change your post just a little bit so that it makes sense for a space setting. Oh, and "ovasive manouver" is spelled "evasive maneuver". And it looks like we're going with the plan that I initially thought was right, so here we go: As the battle was raging on behind him, Oky Wan floated off toward the large cruiser where they believed Garviel to be on. He was carrying a large weapon crate in each hand. One contained Adam and Thok, the other Jim and MacK. But both crates weighed nothing in the empty void of space. The distraction seemed to be working since they got through without any problems. They could only hope that there wouldn't be too many losses in that battle. Oky Wan was aiming for the hangar bay since that was the only place where they would be able to enter the ship. As they got closer, Oky could see General Grievous' starfighter, the Soulless One, standing alongside the other droid fighters in the hangar. Apparently, the Droid General had fled here. This will definitely complicate our mission, Oky Wan thoguht. After a few minutes, he had reached the hangar bay door. Since his flight speed was quite low, he was able to pass through the deflector shield. But once he had passed through, something happened that he hadn't expected: Now that they were inside the ship, the gravity generators took effect on them, and Oky Wan was suddenly carrying the weight of 4 persons and 2 crates in his hands. Since that was way too much for him and his jetpack to handle, they all plummeted down to the metal floor, causing a loud noise to echo throughout the whole hangar. This, of course, alarmed every droid in sight. Quickly, Oky opened the weapon crates to let the others out. "Are we there?" asked Adam in a hopeful voice, rubbing his forehead. "Yes," replied Oky, "but I think I just blew the element of surprise." They raised their weapons as they were being surrounded by droids... There - I noobified myself to create a cliffhanger. Happy?
  5. Thanks, KimT. Have you tried StarWars.com? They always upload new episodes every week. Clck here and see if you can view them. Btw, on StarWars.com, they also have a new webcomic every Monday to set the stage for the forthcoming episode. Click here to read them!
  6. Wait, wait! I am still confused about the plan! I thought that Jim, Thok, and MacK were going to get into weapon crates (and maybe some of the clones too) and that I would fly that crate over to the CIS cruiser with Garviel on it, so that we can go and free Garviel undetected while Wouwie and JD stay back on the gunship and create a distraction and/or get back-up. But now I'm not so sure anymore. What is going to be the distraction? The gunship or the weapon crates? And what goes into those crates? Us, or some kind of bomb? If it's a bomb, where did it come from, and what is it supposed to blow up? What is the gunship going to do? It would be great if someone would clear these things up for me and if everyone here would be a little more specific about these kinds of things in their posts in the future. Btw, Jim, have you contacted Da_Death_Star yet? And What about Skipper24? Can we kill him off yet?
  7. I agree 100%! The Christmas atmosphere (and food) in Germany is fantastic! It's the thing that I miss most about Germany. And it's true that the toys there are of much better quality too, like pretty much everything in Germany. Why the megablocks do you people have to be so crazy about quantity here in America? Oh well... Back on topic: I don't remember there being a PAB in the Karstadt in Berlin, but I haven't been there for over 3 years now, so that might have changed. But it's true that their Lego section is pretty good. There is a Karstadt very close to the Spiele Max that I recommended above. Its address is Schloßstraße 1, 12163 Berlin. I do remember, however, that KaDeWe used to have a small PAB section. KaDeWe is located at Tauentzienstr. 21-24, 10789 Berlin, and it's opening hours are these: Monday - Thursday 2008 10am - 8pm January - October 2008 Friday 10am - 9pm Saturday 9.30am - 8pm
  8. Wait a minute - a bomb? What bomb? What shuttle? Did I miss something again? And how is the dark jedi supposed to sense us if he is on his way to Felucia? I sense it too. The dark side of the force surrounds our posts.
  9. Yes, I can recommend Spiele Max as well! That's where I used to go for most of my Lego needs when I was living in Berlin, and they had some good sales from time to time! For instance, they are having a 20% sale on all Lego from the 20th to the 25th, so I really hope that you'll be there during that time! This is the one that I always went to: Schloßstraße 1 Berlin, BE 13467 Germany +49 (0)30 790 1290 Open Hours: 10a-8p M-F, 9a-4p Sa And yes, the Discovery Centre store sucks. Viel Spaß und auf Wiedersehen!
  10. Oh, I see. Yes, I remember that post, but I was confused at the time. I thought it was the Adam impostor talking at the end of that post because it was followed by a post from Adam in the POV of the impostor, but Adam's post was set before yours. Now I understand. No, Beqin would never work since she was facing me and Annix at the time! I have changed my post to feature you fighting Grievous and I hope your happy with it. You can find it here. The bold part is the one I added. "Sounds good," said Oky Wan, "There is only one problem with that: We are in a gunship, and those aren't equipped with escape pods." Jim hadn't thought about that. He looked around in the gunship for something that they could use as an escape pod... and, finally, his eyes fell upon some weapon crates, which were each large enough to hold one or two persons. "There," he told the others, "we'll use those!" "Hm... OK. But how do we get over to the cruiser in those things? They don't have any engines!" Thok asked. "No problem" said Oky Wan, "if I can borrow a helmet from one of the clones, I could fly us over there with my jetpack!" Jim thought about it and said: "Hm, yes, that could work." "Hey, what about the Republic Assault Cruiser?" said Wouwie all of a sudden. "We could get a better transportation from there!" No," said Jim, "It's too far away. We don't have any time to waste. We'll go with Oky's idea." And so, they started emptying the weapon crates. While they were working, Oky Wan asked Butcher: "So, I noticed that you have a lightsaber... and that you are pretty good at using it too. Does that mean you're...?" "A jedi? No," interrupted him Jim. "Force sensitive? Yes, a little. And about the lightsaber fighting, well..." He continued to tell Oky how he learned the fighting style of the mandalorians, and how he built his own saber. "Fascinating!" said Oky Wan. "So, what did Grievous want from you?"
  11. Hi. I just have a favor to ask of an admin or mod who is reading this: Could you please merge kill_will's topic about this show with this one? Thanks.
  12. Yes, and I already answered that the first time you posted this. But you're right: someone should really merge these two.
  13. Sure thing, buddy. I'm not simonjedi, but I know the answer because I talked about it with him, so I'll tell you. It's either Spalko's or Juno Eclipse's head with a brown pony tail and on a Sith-robed body. I'll post a pic for the post where Annix and I meet her soon. I'm not sure if I understand the plan right: We are all going to squeeze into an escape pod (even though RGS' don't have any) and fly toward the enemy cruiser while the RGS works as a decoy? Idk... What?! When did that happen? I thought it was the evil Jedi who knocked you out! I don't think it makes much sense, but if you really want me to, I can change my post. Shall I?
  14. Ghosts of Mars: Except for one zombie fight, it's pretty boring and cheesy.
  15. Yes, but after we save Garviel. Btw, I noticed that The_Death_Star is back under the new name Da_Death_Star. Perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to kill him off. Somebody should contact him and ask him if he would like to rejoin. William Jones' body wasn't actually found, so if Death_Star does want to continue playing, his character could be revealed to be alive after all in the next chapter.
  16. You live in America, right? Then why don't you just go to McD's and buy'em?
  17. Yes, mine. I think there should be only one of these, and since mine has a better title and was in the Multimedia forum all along, I suggest that kill_will's is the one that should be closed. EDIT: Just kidding, but could KimT or someone else please merge this thread into the other?
  18. Agreed. Gotta love that Australian accent! In fact, most of the voices are actually very good IMO. There are only a few exceptions: Mace Windu: It's a simple fact that nobody can sound as cool as Samuel L. Jackson! Plo Koon & Kit Fisto: While their voices aren't bad, they're just not what I expected these two Jedi to sound like. I have no clue what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. Oh well, I'll get used to them. The Narrator: Idk what's the deal with this guy, but he simply sucks. Btw, has anyone else seen the preview for future episodes in this season of the show that CN aired right after the second episode? It looked very promising, but it looks like there will be an episode with Jar Jar! :hmpf: NOOOOOOOoooooooooooo! Anyway, I don't think that the show should be on every night because then the first season would be over in like two weeks and we would have to wait for the next one for several months! Also, being aired weekly makes the show the more special, and not an everyday thing. Besides, there's nothing you can do about it, so train yourself in patience, young padawan.
  19. Since Adam doesn't seem to have noticed that, I'll tell you. Front row: Lt. Col. Thok, Oky Wan Kenobi, Jim Butcher, MacK, Adam. Back row: Garviel Loken (simonjedi), Wouwie/Easy 501, Moda Annix (dead), Skipper24 (not playing at the moment). Btw, I have noticed that you still refer to Simonjedi as simonjedi. Please stop that and start caling him by his character's name, Garviel Loken. I'm an engineer, thank you very much! "And you're telling us that NOW?" complained Oky Wan. "Well, where is that evil half of yours now?" Neither Adam or Jim had an answer to that, but in that moment, they could hear the distant sound of jet engines and the whole hallway started shaking. After a short while, the vibrations were gone. "What was that?" asked Wouwie. "Sounded like starfighter taking off" said Thok. "The hangar!" Oky Wan called. "The dark jedi is getting away! Quick, we need to get back to our ships!" All of them ran back the way they came in, but before they could reach the exit, they could hear a big explosion outside. When they finally got out, they had to discover something terrible: MacK's freighter had been destroyed and the RGS was heavily damaged! They could see a small starfighter heading toward orbit, which meant that it was the dark jedi who shot at their defenseless ships before leaving to ensure that there would be no one following him. They ran over to the burning wreckage of the freighter to check for survivors. As they came closer, they could see Skipper lying in the snow. They kneeled down beside him and checked on him. He seemed barely alive. "Can anyone see William Jones?" Jim asked. "No. I'm afraid he didn't make it." Thok replied. There was a sad silence. Then, they heard footsteps and a familiar voice: "Sirs, are you alright?" It was Commander Rex who had come over from the gunship. Fortunately, he and his men seemed unharmed. "Yes, commander, we are fine," replied Jim, "We cannot say the same for our friend here. Tell your men to get him to your ship and put him into a bacta tank immediately!" "Yes, Sir!" Rex made some hand signals to the other clone troopers who came forward and carried Skipper away. "What's the status of your ship, commander?" Jim asked Rex. "It's hit pretty badly. We think that she will fly, but she wont stand a chance in battle." "Good," said Jim, "that's all we need. Prepare for take-off - We'll leave immediately." "Yes, Sir." They all went over to the gunship. On the way, Thok asked: "What's the plan, Jim?" "We'll try to follow that dark jedi of course" Jim replied. "But what about Garviel?" said Thok. "He'll have to wait" said Jim. "No," Adam interrupted them, "don't bother with my evil half. I know where he's going." Thok and Jim looked at him in surprise and said: "Where?" "Felucia," Adam replied. "What makes you think that?" Jim asked. "Don't you get it?" said Adam. "He was in me all this time. He knows about the time machine and the CIS base on Felucia. He knows that it is the ultimate weapon against the republic and probably wants to use it for his own purposes. So, let's go and help Garviel first, then we can go to Felucia and find him." What Adam was saying made sense to Jim, so he agreed to that plan. They got into the gunship and headed toward orbit. They could only hope that they wouldn't get attacked by CIS forces before they found the cruiser that Garviel was on... I hope that's OK with everyone. I wasn't sure if I should kill Skipper24 off since he never officially left the game, but has never really been in it either.
  20. Just get rid of the post all together. Then nobody will have anything to criticize about it. "Wait a minute," said Oky Wan, "if you're here, Adam, then Jim is all alone down there! Who knows what trouble he could be in by now! We need to help him out of there first!" "Well... alright" said Thok "Let's get in, get him out of there and try to get to Garviel as quick as we can!" "Good. Let's go," said Oky Wan. "Where is the entrance to the facility?" "Right over there," replied Adam and pointed at the secret hatch, "I'll lead the way." The six of them entered and followed a hallway for a while. As they walked, Adam thought about what had happened before he traveled into the future. He was sure that, at some point, he'll have to tell the others about his evil half. He lead them around some corners until they were close to the place with the black door. As they turned around the last corner, they were shocked to find Butcher engaged in a fight with what seemed to be General Grievous. What was the most shocking thing was that Butcher was wielding a lightsaber. They had never seen him use one, but there he was, fighting like a pro! However, he didn't seem to be a match for the skill and agility of the Droid General. So, all of them pulled out their blasters and started firing at Grievous. The General turned around, knocking Jim down, and started deflecting the shots with his two lightsabers. After a while, the he seemed to realize that he couldn't keep on blocking all of the shots, so leaped into the corridor next to him and vanished. As the group stopped firing, their eyes fell upon Jim, who was lying on the cold ground. "Jim!" Oky exclaimed. He ran over to his friend and kneeled down to him. He shook him and said: "Jim! Jim, can you hear me? What happened?" Slowly, Butcher regained consciousness. At first, he opened his eyes only a little bit, but as soon as he saw Adam standing in the midst of them, he pulled them wide open. "YOU!" screamed Butcher. He jumped onto his feet and started charging Adam, who took a couple of steps back. He had almost reached Adam when Thok and MacK grabbed his arms and held him back. "No, Jim, what are you doing?! It's just Adam!" "Get him! Stop him!" Butcher cried as he was insane, "That's not Adam! That's an impostor!! He transformed and attacked me!" "What?!" asked Oky Wan confused. But he didn't have time to figure out what Jim was talking about because, in that moment, Butcher pulled himself free and leaped toward Adam. Before Adam could defend himself, Jim had already flung his hands around Adam's neck. Alright, Adam, either you explain this whole evil-half thing or you die!
  21. Just a bucket on a hanging pivot with a rope attached to turn it over, much like you'd ring a church bell. But nothing sophisticated like we English have today. Or you could go down the Swiss Family Robinson route - complex plumbing made out of bamboo, but completely unrealistic. Oh, OK. Does that mean that they didn't have any bathtubs or sinks either? Not even in the late 1700s? Also, were those bucket-showers indoors or outdoors?
  22. Well, I think Order 66 is all about irony. By putting more attention on relationships, they try to make the irony of the whole Order 66 situation more clear to the kids. Thereby, they will understand how wrong it is to betray your friends. That's the only sense I can make out of this at least. Here is a hilarious comic about that btw: And for those of you who are jealous about us yanks being the only ones who get to watch this magnificent show, read this. I hope that will stop all the jealousy posts. CW on!
  23. Hi, all you Clone Wars fans! Now that the first few episodes have aired, I think it's time to open a discussion thread for this show. Tell us what you think about this series, but please refrain from making such posts. Alight, let's get started: I think that this show is pretty good. It has good action and animation, and due to the 20-30 minute time span of the stories, the negative aspects of the show are less noticeable than in the movie. The first episode (the one with Yoda), was very good! The second episode wasn't bad either, but it felt more like the first part of a 3-part episode, which it kind of is. The next episode will be about . It looks definitely promising. What do you say?
  24. Are you talking about the previews or about the show? The sneak peeks are already on my YouTube, but I doubt I'll put up the episodes - they'll probably be removed as soon as I upload them. Talking about sneak peeks - I uploaded another one! It shows Rex, the most badass clone since Cody, preparing his men for a battle. Can't wait to see the rest of the episode! You can find the sneak peek here. Only one more day! I'm so excited! Note that CN has a timer in the lower right corner during their shows counting down to the premiere!
  25. Sigh! Seeing as there still seems to be some confusion going around, here is a quick overview of what's going on: Oky Wan Kenobi, Thok, MacK, and Wouwie are outside the separatist research facility on Hoth in the present time and are about to go inside and help Jim Butcher, who was attacked and knocked out by a dark haired man, the "evil half" of Adam. This impostor is now on the run, looking for a starfighter in the facility's hangar. Meanwhile, Adam's true self is in the rebel base on Hoth in the future, at the beginning of the Battle of Hoth. Together with Garviel Loken (simonjedi), he was roughly told about what has happened since the Clone Wars until this point by the future version of Jim. Now, they're helping the rebels fight the imperial forces attacking the base and are befriending Jammiedodger714 in the process. Hope everything is clear now. Tell me if I missed something.
