These are very good, especially the X-Wing! Despite the dark color scheme, the Millenium Falcon is pretty good, too, and it's amazing that you could fit all those play features in there as well, especially considering that you made this at the computer! Well done you have! Yes, I had been playing with the idea of creating more of this kind of SW MOCs ever since I saw that Mini TIE Advanced too. I think it's an interesting concept and a fun challenge. I even made the suggestion to make this a contest here on EB in the new contests thread. At some point, I plan to make some super-deformed PT vessels. EDIT: I just made a super-deformed Naboo Starfighter! Look: I had to replace some of the grey parts with white, but I think it still looks pretty good.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
Oky replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Don't rub it in! Poor simonjedi can't do anything about the fact that his country gets the episodes later than us. Btw, what do you guys think is Catherine Weaver trying to accomplish by having the black police officer (forgot his name now ) (Don't read the spoilers if you haven't seen any season 2 episode yet.) -
I really hope that my Lego Store sells it already! I want to buy it before the double stamp thing ends. Could you tell me what that free Holiday Pick-A-Brick Box is exactly?
-
I gotta check my Lego Store for it! I really hope they have it, because that's the only place where I buy my Lego. Why? Because I drive by there every day on my way to college and I have a Disneyland Annual Pass, so I get 10% off of almost everything in Downtown Disney, including the Lego Store. Lucky me! Sorry for showing off. RFT on!
-
Unfortunately, I missed out on those, and I would absolutely love it if they were the prizes!
-
This is great! Someone should make a sticker out of it and put it inside their Lego City hospital!

Yes, "Destroy Malevolence" was pretty good. Reminded me a little of good ol' Episode IV. Funny thing about it: it is episode 4 - of the Clone Wars show that is. And I am very excited about the next episode too! Those new black battle droids look awesome! I have a sneak peek with a scene of that episode on my YouTube, and it looks quite promissing as well! Check it out here.

Does this mean you're planning to kill yourself off? Patience, young padawan! As it says in his sig, you only have to wait until the 24th.
-
Dammit, Willabee, You stole my idea! I was going to make something very similar: a couple of trick-or-treaters who are ringing at a door behind which some kind of real monster awaits them. But your classic horror movie setting of an abandoned house is much better! The execution of it is excellent too. The characters are perfect and you can see right away what is going on. Good job! Oh well, I already have a new, much better idea!

Most Annoying and Best Adverts in your Country?
Oky replied to Jipay's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm sorry, but except for the one Jipay posted, all those ads are retarded. No offense; just my opinion on the ads. If I find one that is really funny, I'll post it. -
Ooops! I misunderstood you there, simon. I thought you wanted us to change the last post of chapter 3 so that you were left behind on the separatist cruiser that crashed onto Hoth. But now I understand: You just want us to leave you on the Republic Attack Cruiser when we get to Felucia in the next chapter. We can certainly do that. Sorry for reacting like that. But as Jim said, it would still be nice if you wouldn't go solo so much in the future. I'll add the changes that you made to the summary.
-
Thanks! That helped a lot! I have added that information to my summary now. I have made changes here: and here: Hope that's OK like that. Anything else I need to change?
-
Yes, that's correct, Jim. And episode 4 "Destroy Malevolence" is the last part in the Malevolence three-parter and will be aired tonight! Can't Wait!
-
You should read my summaries of ALL the Chapters to fully understand what's going on. You can find them in my signature below. Are you talking to me? I thought I already spelled you like that. Should I add the part about Beqin to the summary?
-
I added the rest of the overview! Please tell me what you think and if there is anything that would need to be added, change, or shortened. Thanks!

Alright. It has been a long chapter full of intrigues and revelations! Time to look back and see what has happened. The Star Wars Comic Game: Chapter 3 - An Overview After landing safely on Hoth, Jim, Thok, Oky Wan, MacK, and a wounded Garviel started to make their way to Easy 501's outpost while Skipper 24 and William Jones, two new allies from Utapau, stayed with the freighter. Our heroes had to face many obstacles like Homing Spider Droids and Wampas, but they also made some new friends. Adam, a Republic spy, and clone commander Rex and his team joined the group. Half of them almost died on the way to the sieged outpost, but in the end, they all made it there in one piece using a strange all-terrain vehicle with surprisingly advanced technology that they found in the snow. Once there, they were greeted by Easy 501. He told them to call him Wouwie and offered to help the group on their mission in return for the help they had provided in his fight against the droids. They were able to evacuate the outpost in an RGS just in time before the droid force teared it down. Later, Adam revealed to them that the vehicle from before was an AT-AT, sent here from the future by the separatists a year ago in a time travel experiment. He also told them that the CIS was now crafting mutants that were half human, half Felucian mushroom, and the only living tissue that could survive the time travel process. These mutants were being made in a facility nearby, so they decided to go and look for clues about the location of the time machine there. They all flew back to MacK's freighter and split up. While Jim, Thok, MacK, Wouwie, and Adam jumped into the freighter to get to the facility, Oky Wan, Garviel, Rex, and the clones continued in the gunship to go and search the crashed CIS core ship for clues as well. When Jim's team arrived at the location that Adam had led them to, Jim entered the underground facility together with Adam while the others waited for a signal from them to enter from the back. After outrunning a swarm of mutants, they came to a black door. In that moment, something very strange happened: Adam split into two different persons. One of them, the ghost of a dark jedi that had been resting inside of Adam for some time, knocked out Jim and made his way to the hangar of the facility in order to leave the planet and wreck havoc in the galaxy. The other, Adam's true self, was flung into the future, where he woke up to find himself in the possession of a lightsaber. Meanwhile, Oky Wan, Garviel, and the clone commando were searching through the wreckage of the core ship, without success. They were just about to return to the gunship as their communications were cut off and they were ambushed by the bounty hunter who kidnapped Moda Annix on Utapau. Fortunately, the gunship flew in and shot away all the battle droids that surrounded them. Being the coward that he was, the bounty hunter fled into the bowls of the core ship. Garviel ran after him, but suddenly, he was transported through time into the future. There, he met up with Adam and an aged Jim Butcher, who told them all about the Empire, the rebels, and what had happened by the end of the Clone Wars. It turned out that he and his rebel engineers had recreated and perfected the separatists' time machine so that they could warn them about the future. It was now up to Garviel to warn the others and stop the group from destroying the separatist's time machine. After Garviel had vanished, Oky Wan continued the pursuit of the bounty hunter without him. He followed him to a dead end where the hunter used Annix as a hostage to escape. But the two Republicans were able to overthrow the coward and reclaim their weapons. As they walked back, they were ambushed again. This time it was Beqin, the female dark jedi. She questioned them about Garviel's whereabouts, but since they couldn't give her an answer, she killed Annix. Afterwards, she turned toward a wounded Oky Wan. She didn't kill him right away, though, because she could sense a lot of anger in him. She offered him a chance to turn to the dark side and enhance his force powers to be able to fulfill his dreams. Oky Wan was tempted, but could not make up his mind, so he changed the subject by ordering her to kill him. She was about to do so when Rex and the clones suddenly busted in and drove her away. They returned to the gunship and headed toward the facility where Jim was just regaining consciousness. He stood up and opened the mysterious black door, but the room behind it turned out to be a simple conference room. Suddenly, he was attacked by General Grievous from the back, and the two engaged in a lightsaber duel. In the future, the rebels were preparing to send Adam and Garviel back to their own time, but when the Battle of Hoth started, the two time travelers offered to help the rebels out. On speeder bikes, they were able to fend off the first wave of imperials. They were assisted by a double agent called Jammie Dodger. But as the imperials started to invade the Hoth base, the rebels quickly sent Adam and Garviel back. Jammie Dodger was sent with them for support. The three managed to return to their own time successfully, but on the way, there was a glitch that resulted in Garviel being left on board a separatist cruiser above Hoth, right in front of Beqin. While the other two appeared in front of Oky Wan, MacK, Wouwie, and Thok and told them what had happened, Bequin revealed to Garviel that she is from an alternative future where Garviel protected the time machine, that caused the separatists to win the Clone Wars. She then revealed to him that she was sent from the future by the Jim Butcher of her alternate universe to prevent Garviel from saving the separatists' time machine plans. Garviel then defended himself against his arch nemesis. Surprisingly, he did that using force lightning that suddenly shot out of his fingers. Alarmed by the news of Garviel being in the hands of the separatists, the group of Republicans on Hoth decided to get Jim out of the CIS facility and leave the planet to rescue their friend. They entered the facility and Adam led them to the place where he had left Jim. There, they found him dueling Grievous and came to his aid. They were able to get the Droid General to leave. After Adam told them the story of his "evil half", they exited the facility to find out that the very same dark jedi had destroyed Mack's freighter and damaged the gunship before leaving the planet. Skipper24 was barely alive and William Jones was nowhere to be found, so he has been assumed dead. The group left in the gunship and devised a plan to rescue Garviel and destroy the separatist cruiser. It worked well, but Mack had to sacrifice himself to set off the bomb in the cruiser. Now, our heroes are on their way to Felucia, where they hope to find the time machine and stop the dark jedi... Phew! That really was a long chapter! I hope I covered everything important and didn't get anything wrong. Thanks for reading! Sig Updated!

That's what I meant.

It's actually not supposed to be sad. It's supposed to look serious. You know, as in "You should really do that."
-
No problem for me. Actually, it kind of makes sense since we have been on this adventure for a few days now without shaving (or eating, sleeping, or going to the restroom for that matter ). So it's quite logical that you are starting to have a stubble. No can-do, simon. The story of this game is based on players' reactions on others' posts. We're not gonna change what we posted just so that you can tell your own little story. You can fill those plot holes in the next chapter via flashbacks. And, who knows, maybe we'll get attacked on the way to Felucia so that we will have to use escape pods to get to the planet. (possible spoiler )

I would love a minifig-scale Venator too. But you know what would be kinda cool too? A UCS Malevolence! With Mini CW-style Y-Wings to attack it!
-
Yes, that would be rather strange if that's the case. But maybe Zorro just said that without checking if it works for him, as so many people do here.. Actually, that's the second episode. But you're right, it does kinda suck. The other ones are much better. The first episode was the one with Yoda. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it to you; it's the best one so far! Btw, Jim, have you ever finished watching the first Clone Wars series? Yes, you do! Btw, why is everyone thanking stash2stixx for the starwars.com link? I provided that link a while before he did! Here, to be exact. But apparently nobody listens to me. Oh well. How do you guys like the webcomic btw? I think it's... nice. Some of the artwork is pretty good, and they give you a nice preview at the upcoming episode. In the latest one, they mention something about pirate attacks, so we might get a glimpse at what the "Pirate Tank" that was rumored to become a set in 2009 looks like. However, there is a slight chance that this weeks episode could be the one with Jar Jar, considering that he appears in the webcomic.

What do you mean? Like, who makes the longest limo wins? Anyway, I had another funny idea: A "Cirque De Eurobricks" contest - make a vignette that shows your sigfig performing some kind of circus or variety act! That could be fun! Or how about a contest about building super-deformed Star Wars vehicles and vessels in the style of Vader's TIE from the Death Star playset?
-
Nice entries so far, everyone! But I'm not so sure about TheBrickster's entry... Isn't this supposed to be a Town themed contest? I don't know what I could make yet and I don't have much time on my hands either, but I'll try to get something in. And thinking about my entry, I have a question: Are engraved bricks from a Lego store allowed? Or do they count as modified parts?
-
It's nice to see some more people join! Any news on Da_Death_Star? Does he want to rejoin? And what about Dark Sword Ragnarok? Didn't he want to join too? Same here. I also don't have that lightsaber hilt. What would you like me to use instead: a regular grey hilt or Count Doku's crooked chrome hilt? Also, aren't force choke and force lightning powers that you can only learn from a Sith? For those who are working on a group photo: You might want to wait until all the new players have joined before you take and post your pic. And don't forget that it should have a Felucia setting and include the information that this is the fourth chapter. I'll have a Chapter 3 summary up soon.

So, it works for you? What is your country?
