  1. This topic is about a show that has ended about half a year ago. What do you expect! It's the reason why you can only see it on pay-TV. Besides, don't blame me, I barely gave away any spoilers.
  2. Seconded! It would be awesome getting a castle skelleton in the same silver as the droids in the new Assassin Droid Battle Pack with a battle droid blaster! Also, I'm really hoping that the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender feature films will bring back life into the Avatar theme!
  3. Nice to see that there is one more thing that we have in common, computerbug. I think he was referring to the Sozin's Comet 4-parter that forms the show finale and was shown back-to-back as movie on its US television debut and meant the episodes that precede it when saying "final epsiodes". However, as you might know, an Avatar feature film is in the works! Speaking of which, what do you guys think about Shyamalan's choice of white actors for the lead roles? Apparently, a lot of fans got mad about that. I, for one, don't really care what actors play the main characters as long as they do their job well. However, I do agree that an Asian actor would be suited better for the role of Zuko. Jet Li anyone? Here is for hoping once more that these films will bring life back into the Lego theme! Btw, where are all those Avatar MOC you guys promised to make??
  4. You can? Where? I need to catch up on the episode that was aired before the finale! I don't think so. As you say, this show is all about time travel, which involves paradoxes and stuff. These are all different timelines, and the series has its own. The whole show is practically a what-if scenario to the timeline of the movies. "T4: Salvation" will be within the same timeline as the last two movies. Get it? If you don't like that, you'll have to deal with it. HEY! Don't dis the 'wars, man! There were never any "alternate realities" in the Star Wars universe! At least not that I know of. And I know a lot about SW. And Star Wars is definitely NOT LAME! Sorry, but I just am a geek. Not completely, I believe. Jesse comes from an alternate future where Reese was analyzed. The Reese that we know comes from a future where he wasn't, implying that he created Jesse's alternate future by going back in time. How he did that, however, was not explained. Very cool plot, though, IMO! Haha, yeah, almost. But I'm sure that it'll turn out to be a military prototype of the HK-Aerial or something. They did? Crap. How am I supposed to watch Clone Wars and Terminator at the same time? I hope I can at least record them both at the same time. Yeah. She always looks at her as if she already knows...
  5. I have no clue, and I don't think anyone knows. We don't even know yet how many episodes Season 1 has. I'm guessing that it wont be until summer that we get a DVD. As I said, it really was! Yes, it really is strange that we haven't seen much of Grievous' sad side before. I mean, it's what inspired his name after all. Good that we start to see it now, though. What? You liked the fight against Gor better than Fisto opening a can of whoop-a$$ on Grievous?! Really? What about "Cloak of Darkness"? Glad you're starting to catch up, though.
  6. I don't think so. Filoni said that he doesn't want to change anything established by the old cartoon which already shows these events, so it's highly unlikely that they will redo anything shown in Star Wars: Clone Wars. And if you ask me, that's a good thing. The old cartoon was masterpiece, and any attempt at remaking any part of it would just make it worse. Besides, it would be boring and pointless to watch all of that again.
  7. Thanks for all the compliments on my summary, guys! It looks very good but there are some minor things wrong with it. In addition to what has been mentioned above, you forgot to include 8P-4C. Also, Beqin shouldn't be in the pic since this banner is for Season 2 which is set in kind of an alternate universe where she never traveled back in time and wont be part of the story anymore. At least not her future self. This goes to show that it is way too early to make a banner yet. A second season hasn't even been officially announced, so it could take a while for it to begin, and until then, there will probably be a bunch of new players. Therefore, everyone should wait until Season 2 starts before making a banner IMO. Btw, who is the guy with the black helmet on the very left? No it's not! In fact, the rules for the game have changed, so you are now forced to use a different head! So, what's it gonna be? Aww, thank you, Jim! What can I say - I just really enjoy this game. Congratulations on becoming a Duke, btw. You shouldn't be surprised that you aren't in the banner. No offense, but since you have never posted any pics, you shouldn't even be allowed to keep playing (see the rules). So, I hope you will keep your promise. Or else... Oh geez! I can already see a crazy, Adam-esque side plot coming up. What is it this time? Are you gonna turn into a T-1000 or something? Oh well, I guess I'll find out once the game starts again. Btw, JD, are you gonna keep playing as your future or present self? Season 2 ON!
  8. Thanks, KimT! Thank you for commenting on that. I really like how it turned out as well. But how do you know what the 09 set will look like? Or are you just refering to the fact that it will most probably have a dark bley and blue color scheme like those in the Clone Wars movie?
  9. It's not gonna be "based" on anybody. It will be about random new rebels and surviving Jedi, with main characters only showing up from time to time. It's set to debut in about a year.
  10. Thank you, WhiteFang! Yup. That's me. Always well organized. I can't believe it myself! The catch of having so many is that they don't have hair, though. Next time I get something from S@H, I'll have to order a bunch of ponytail wigs from PAB. Once I do, I'll post pics of them. Right now, I have them on display with every fig wearing a different kind of female wig. Looks quite interesting; perhaps I'll post pics of that as well... Thanks, but now you're just overdoing it. Many armies that have been posted here are a lot larger than mine, so it's not that huge. But you are right, it does look pretty impressive. Thanks for the compliments. You better did!
  11. That was a good idea, but unfortunately, aliens are usually rare. If you really want to be an alien, the best thing you could be is a Gungan probably, since Jar Jar was in almost every set back in the old Ep.1 sets. I have about six of them, so I would be totally fine with that. A Wookiee would be possible too, since we had a two Kashyyyk sets for Ep. 3, and Chewie was in a lot of sets as well. Alright, since there is no better place to post this, I will post my summary of Chapter 4 here: The Star Wars Comic Game: Chapter 4 - An Overview After our heroes arrived in the Felucia System, a large space battle ensued as the CIS tried to prevent them from landing on the planet at all costs. Wouwie's Republic Attack Cruiser was aided in this battle by others which had received their call for backup. Amongst those friendly Cruisers were that of Commander Bob and that of Commander Pr0. The Republic could hold its own against the droid forces for a while, but amongst all the chaos, Adam sabotaged Wouwie's Cruiser and fled secretly in an escape pod. Soon, the shield generator of our heroes' Cruiser broke down, rendering the ship a sitting duck, so Jim, Oky Wan, and Thok had to abandon the ship in an ARC 170 Starfighter while Wouwie stayed with his men. On the planet, the three made their way to Garviel who had left previously with a few troops on a special mission to take out an enemy out post that was scrambling their communications. Meanwhile, after getting shot down by the CIS, Commander Pr0 crash-landed on Felucia. After walking through a forest for a while, he met Adam, and the two engaged in a lightsaber duel. Adam won and forced Pr0 to introduce himself. After that, they became partners and made their way to the rendezvous point where they were supposed to meet the others. Garviel succeeded in his mission, and soon everyone joined him and his troops at the outpost. But the droids noticed that the outpost wasn't under their control anymore, so they sent a whole little army over to retake it. Jim, Oky, and Thok got trapped behind the enemy line and used that opportunity to sabotage the droids. They hijacked an MTT and used its weapons to take out every droid in sight. When the droids were almost defeated, they nuked the outpost in a desperate final act. Fortunately, all of our heroes were able to survive the explosion, thanks to JD who, being from the future, was able to warn them in time. Jim, Oky, and Thok hid in a supplement cooling storage unit (aka. a fridge) while the others hid in a bunker underneath the outpost. When they reunited, William Jones revealed himself to be alive. Apparently he had left MacK's cruiser to check something out before it was blown up. They all took off in their RGSs and flew to the large Separatist base where they assumed the time machine to be hidden. Thanks to blueprints of the base (which were mysteriously supplied to them by Adam), they could locate a secret entrance, but they were unable to land anywhere near it due to anti-air turrets that were arranged around the base. Oky Wan took the responsibility to drop down to those turrets with his jetpack and take them out. Once on the ground, he received help from JD's younger present self who was just recovering from an attack from a bounty hunter. Together, they hijacked one of the turrets and used it to take out the other ones. At last, they all entered the base made their way to the location where Adam's blueprints claimed the time machine to be. Meanwhile, Pr0 returned from a quick trip to his orbiting Cruiser. He had researched the bounty hunter that attacked JD's present self in order to help the future JD who was suffering from the bounty hunter's attack on his present self. When Pr0 returned the destroyed communications outpost where he had left the others, he only found Will Jones who had stayed there to investigate a secret room he had discovered earlier. The only thing Will has found in there was a droid called 8P-4C. The droid promised to help them in exchange for upgrades, and so he and Will joined Pr0 and future JD on their RGS to go and help the others in the CIS base. They flew over there, but were unable to locate Jim and the others. They were unable to communicate with them since a communications tower on the separatist base made any attempt at contacting someone inside the base useless. So, the four devised a plan to hit the tower with Wouwie's almost-destroyed Attack Cruiser. Their plan worked, but Skipper, who was still highly wounded and the only one left on the ship, had to sacrifice himself in order for Pr0, JD, Will, and 8P-4C to survive the crash. After they locked onto Oky Wan's signal, the four infiltrated the base and caught up with the others. When they all reached our heroes entered the room where the time machine was supposed to be, they had to find out that it was a trap set up by the dark jedi that used to be part of Adam. The time machine turned out to be a fake, and the group was attacked by a whole attack force of MagnaGuards. After those were defeated, General Grievous himself appeared and would have destroyed them, if Commander Bob and his troops wouldn't have blasted through the wall and driven the droid general into retreat. Bob joined the team, and they were about to follow Grievous, when suddenly the dark jedi emerged from a dark corner of the room and introduced himself as Ragnakk Vohr. He revealed to them that he was sabotaging them by controlling Adam's actions ever since they entered the Felucia System. Jim started to duel him while Pr0 fought the possessed Adam. Vohr and Adam won, and Vohr ordered Adam to kill his friends, but Adam fought the dark jedi's mind control and refused to do it. In return, Vohr threatened to eliminate them himself and was about to kill Garviel when suddenly Beqin appeared and stabbed Vohr in the back. She continued to chase Garviel through an abondoned warehouse where Garviel finally managed to defeat her. Afterwards, he caught up with the others who had fought a couple more MagnaGuards and the bounty hunter that attacked JD's present self earlier. The futureJD finished his business with the bounty hunter, and they all entered the secret time machine room where Grievous was about to execute his plan of sending the mushroom mutants back in time. Grievous mocked them and threw present JD, who he had taken with him after their last fight, into a time portal. Adam, Thok, and Pr0 followed him into that portal to help him, using up all the Utapauan crystals that fueled the machine. Jim dueled Grievous while the others fought a horde of battle droids that entered the room. During this fight, Will and future JD got heavily wounded. Jim, Oky, Garviel, Wouwie, and Bob were forced to retreat into a hallway which turned out to be a dead end. In that moment, Adam, Thok, Pr0 and present JD appeared out of thin air. It appears that the time portal simply took them a little bit into the future. With the help of one of Thok's EMP grenades they could rid themselves of the approaching battle droids and return to the room with the time machine. When they entered the room, they had to find out that Grievous had killed Will, future JD, and 8P-4C while they were gone and he continued to kill present JD who had tried to save his future self. Upon this, Jim, Adam, and Pr0 started fighting Grievous with their lightsabers, but to no avail. He killed them one at a time and continued to his massacre until each and everyone of them was dead. However, Oky Wan barely survived his attack, and using the crystal he had taken from the Utapau mines, he went back in time and used the time machine to prevent it from ever being created. This caused a paradox in the time/space continuum that transported our heroes back to the beginning of their adventure. Now, all that has happened wont happen again, and all the brave men who sacrificed themselves to make their mission a success wont have to die. The only proof of the fact that the reversed events did happen is the memory of the eleven heroes. Satisfied with this happy end, they walked off to start a new adventure... There. I hope I didn't get anything wrong or forgot something important. If I did, please tell me.
  12. Done. Sorry about that. Alright, so what do you think now?
  13. Thanks to four BPs and two MTTs that I got recently, I now have quite a large droid army! I have about 67 Battle Droids, including 4 pilots, 4 securities, and 2 commanders. I also have 14 Super Battle Droids, 2 MTT-style Droidekas, 1 Dwarf Spider Droid, 1 Homing Spider Droid, 1 Hailfire droid, 1 Droid Starfighter, and 1 Snail Tank Droid. Thanks to the spare arms and blasters from the two MTTs and all my 2008 sets, I was able to exchange the arms of my old-style droids (those with megaphones for blasters) until only 10 standard battle droids and the two Pilots and Commanders were left with the old-style arms. I thought that the pilots and commanders don't need to be able to hold blasters since their job is it to pilot a vehicle or oversee the battlefield and command troops. I put 6 of the standard droids onto the STAPs and gave the other 4 modified megaphone blasters (which now look like bazookas/missile launchers) turning them into assault droids. Here you can see that I am the proud owner of an assassin droid BP. And - Oh No! - It looks like Threepio got into the droid factory again! This usually headless droid is actually not a droid, but the body of Aldar Beedo from the SW Bucket. I didn't want to display it without a head, so I figured the Threepio thing out. My STAP armada. The Snail Tank is one that I build with the instructions of the official one, but with my own parts. This way, it kinda became a brown recolored version of the official Snail Tank. The Droid Starfighter is my attempt at updating my old DSF in the style of the one from the Naboo Fighter set. It worked our pretty good, I think, considering that I didn't have the right parts in the right colors sometimes. Click here for more, hi-res pics. I am still planning to add the new AAT to my CIS army, but after that, I'll try to concentrate on enlarging my Republic army because it's not very large at the moment. I have 6 Phase 2 clones, 3 Star Corps Troopers, 3 Shock Troopers, 1 Phase 2 clone pilot, and 1 Scout Walker driver. From the Clone Wars, I have 10 Phase 1 clones, 1 Fox, 1 Rex, and 1 Commander Cody impostor. That "impostor" is a generic clone with Cody's helmet printing that I got from the Clone Speed Build Contest in my local Lego Store. I switched his arms with orange ones and gave him pistols and a visor so that he now looks just like Cody, except that he doesn't have the orange markings on his torso. Of course, my army of Phase 1 clones is going to be much larger once I get my hands on some more of the new BP! I will post pics of them as soon as my Republic army is large enough to be a match for my CIS army. You can see most of my clones and droids in my Battle of Dagobah diorama. My Rebel and Imperial armies are not worth mentioning. However, I do have an army of 17 yellow slave Leia clones! They had them in the Build-Your-Own-Minifig section of my Lego Store once, and I couldn't resist getting them all. I'll post pics of them some day. So, what do you think?
  14. Very cool, JD! It looks very good so far! Some of the animation is very good, some of it is not, but overall, it's works quite well. I like how you do special effects using bricks! Can't wait to see the finished result, especially the part with the jet troopers!
  15. What?! Man, I am sooo jealous!
  16. Yeah, but I (like many others here) don't have that head. Could you please choose a less rare head?
  17. Funny. That's actually a problem I would have expected to happen to Sinner! But yeah, poking something through the bottom is probably the best idea.
  18. I got a bunch of DVDs, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Blu-Ray, and Bose speakers for my computer! No Lego unfortunately, but that was expected since my parents told me that I had enough Lego and that they wouldn't buy me any anymore. However, there is still hope since I could still get some from friends later today!
  19. NOOOOO! I didn't make it! I was just about to post my entry, but the entry thread was already closed. Oh well, I was never good in keeping deadlines. Too bad though, since it turned out pretty good. Perhaps I can still post it as a MOC... Anyway, my vote goes to Dennimator because his entry looks nice, is big, and has some amusing scenes.
  20. Yes, it seems to be the one seen in the Chandler, Arizona, display case: I'm not sure how satisfied I am with that. I think I'll have to hold the minifig in my own hand to judge that. But I can say that I like his face! It's (like all the others CW heads) very accurate to the original! There are some things that disappoint me about the Sailer. I was almost sure that the MagnaGuards with the stripes printed on their shoulders from Legoworld would be in this set, but it doesn't seem to be this way. Now I wonder where those will be included. There just has to be an explanation for the printed ones being shown at Legoworld. The other thing that disappoints me, as I stated a few pages back, is the pilot droid. I mean, a skellie foot for a head? WTF, TLG! Also, it shouldn't have feet! Another bummer of sorts is the fact that the speeder doesn't seem to fit into the Sailer. It makes more sense this way, I guess, but it would have been a neat play feature. Now I wonder if the Sailer does anything interesting except for storing the Magnas inside the "trunk" and pointlessly opening its "shell". I think I'll get this set. It's still better (although a ittle more expensive ) than the MagnaGuard Starfighter. I just hope that the US doesn't have to wait to get this exclusive as it did for the Fighter Tank!
  21. That's awesome! I think that was one of the funniest scenes in Family Guy: Blue Harvest and your MOC recaptures the hilarity very well! But I think that that green thing in the back was supposed to be part of a spoiler, not a flag.
  22. ! Awesome song! Why is it good to build to? It's got a good beat so that you can build at a good pace, and it reminds you of the MOCs that you built last Christmas, so you know how to improve. If you want more beat, check out Basshunter's Jingle Bass!
  23. Oops, misread that. Never mind then. Is that a skull inside the rabbit's head? That's... kinda creepy.
  24. Hellohoho there! As the title says, this is my entry for the Christmasification contest on FBTB, and it has already made it into the final round of the voting! It's a christmasified version of Anakin's Podracer. Perhaps an obvious thing to do, but I think it came out pretty nicely. Here is a reference pic so that you can see the similarities: A view from the back: I hope you like it. If you do, please go here and vote for me. If you don't, well... do it anyway. Merry Force, and may the Christmas be with you!
