Wow! Not bad! If you're somebody who only gets sets because of the minifigs, you can save like $155 with this set! The best part is that the minifigs on this new kind of magnets aren't glued in any way. However, since I want the AAT and RAS and the Magnas from the Solar Sailer anyway, I wont get this magnet set.

Yes, thank you, repubilcFORCES. Now get into the game as soon as you can, and post pictures as often as you can (but not too big ones please! ) I have to agree with Jim btw. I am impressed and very happy how well the game is going! I didn't check in here for 2 days once and I missed over 2 pages of story! However, for the fact that we are already 4 pages into the game, there are way too few MOCs. Please get MOCing, people! This is supposed to be a comic. For example, who wants to MOC the CIS vehicle with the buzz-saws? (I would do it, but I only have one of those big saw pieces, and I have midterms right now ) Keep it up, guys!

I think it's gonna be almost as impossible to get an inventory of this set as getting instructions of it or the set itself. But if you just want to build it, I suggest you to look at the picture and try to built it from what you see. If it's true that the set was very badly designed, you might end up with something better if you MOC it. However, if you really want the exact inventory, you can only get it from someone who worked for Lego and/or has a prototype of it. There is someone on Brickset who claims to have the set. You could try to contact him somehow. He wont sell it to you, but maybe he'll be so nice to provide an inventory. Link EDIT: Oh, Sinner's pic is better for recreating it, but the one I posted shows the complete set.

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Oky replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Erm... Isn't that kind of what the new Space Police is? I mean, it's more City Police in Space than Pirates in Space, but the story is basically the same. -
The kind of people who bought the 10188 DS. I mean, that's what the DS basically was: A bunch of minifigs and grey bricks for $400. And believe it or not, it's selling well. So, I don't see what the difference would be in having a PT equivalent to the DS. In fact, with all the kids these days being more into PT and the CW, something like a Geonosis arena might even sell better than the DS.

Not if they do it in chrome black in celebration of the end of the licence! But yeah, I don't think the license will end anytime soon either.

Wtf? Are those microfigs? That's great! I must have those! And it looks like those dome pieces are built on 2x2 jumper pieces! Very useful! Really, I'm very excited about these games! I probably wont find anyone to play them with, but I might still get one or two of them. They seem to be great part packs. I just hope they wont be too expensive.
-
Seconded! And don't forget the three beasts! That would definitely be a great finale! The only other thing I could think of would be an all-silver Naboo Royal Starship with the false Queen Amidala, Handmaiden Padmé, Qui-Gon, Padawan Obi Wan, Captain Panaka, Jar Jar, R2, and young Anakin! It is possible, seeing as TLC had no problems releasing a set with an all-silver car. Or how about an Ultimate Podracing set with all the pods from the Boontha Eve Classic, plus some tribunes with Watto and Jabba and the commentator(s)! That would be way expensive of course, though. Also, I'm still waiting for a UCS Darth Vader bust! Ultimately, it would be awesome if TLC could give us that don't exist as real figs yet, in one way or another!
-
Oh no! I wanted to get that one, too, before it's gone! I hope they restock it. It's still in stock on the Toys'r'us website (Link), so if you really want it I would order it!

Happy Birthday, Bobskink! Happy Birthday, KimT! I hope you'll get more Lego later today. More than I will probably get for my birthday on Saturday at least. My parents think I have enough Lego (as if that would be possible ) and don't want to buy me any anymore. However, I saw my Mom coming home with a small Lego Store bag yesterday, so there's still hope!

Since TLC never even showed interest in making an Agents game (which had A LOT of potential if you ask me), I highly doubt that there will be one for PM, but since this is a What-If topic, here it goes: It would probably suck. All of them of course. All the miners, all the monsters, including the big King/Queen ones from the upcoming wave. Dynamite and other explosives, pick, shovel, maybe a small ax, and some hand-held (brick-built) drilling machines. Well, all characters seem to have a personality, so I guess their special abilities would be fitted to their personality. For example, the special ability of the professor could be to fix vehicles or something. Bonuses? I'm not sure what you mean... It would probably be the usual: a good balance of platforming/fighting and vehicle levels. I mean, why wouldn't there be vehicle levels? The whole theme is based on vehicles after all! I don't think there would be monster levels, though, considering that they are the bad guys. But in the end, they would probably be unlockable, playable character. Probably by drilling or digging through them with one of the larger vehicles or chucking dynamite at them. Bosses would include the Rock Monster King & Queen, and maybe something silly like a large Rock Monster Catapult. Seriously, dude, if you start talking like that, you're defeating the purpose of your own topic.

I think he might be referring to the fact how different the two figs look, even though they're both played by Harrison Ford in real life. Perhaps he thinks their faces should have looked more alike in terms of resembling the actor. But I think that would be kinda pointless, as it's the characters we're interested in, and for that, the figs look very good IMHO, especially Indy. Perhaps TLC could improve their Han Solo a bit. The version that we have now looks somewhat - how should I say - chubby due to the lack of detail, whereas Indy looks pretty much spot-on. Just my opinion.

But there is a keychain of her, too, which is only five bucks.

Ren Luun turned back to Jim and asked: "So, Commander Butcher, what are you and your team doing here?" "We were looking for you." replied Jim. "The Jedi council sent us to find you since you were reported missing." Oky Wan stepped forward and said:"We also received your call for backup, and it sounded like you knew something about the latest plans of Count Dooku. Is that right?" Luun suddenly looked very serious. "Yes, that's correct. I had spotted him on a different planet and followed him here. He is going from planet to planet, looking for something, but I haven't been able to find out what." "Hm, strange," said Jim. "So, where is he now?" "I... I don't know. I saw him going deep into the jungle, but I couldn't follow him because this battle started all of a sudden. He must have known that I was following him and created a distraction." "Damn!" said Jim. "Well, now that we found you and provided backup, how about we help you find him?" "Seeing as there are only three of our troops left, that would be appreciated, I think" said Commander Jifel. He turned to Luun and asked: "What do you say, general?" "Sure. You and your men go ahead and join Butcher's squad. I, however, need to leave." "What? Why?" "Er... Can't say... secret Jedi business... I'll see you later." And with that, the Jedi disappeared amongst the bushes. "Hm," said Pr0, "well, that was kind of suspicious." "Yeah..." confirmed Jifel "He has been acting like that since we got here." "This thing is just getting weirder and weirder." said Oky Wan. Jim shook his head: "No matter. We'll have to find out later. first we have some friends to save!" "Right," said Oky Wan "Everybody, into the tank!" They all got in. Oky Wan sat into the driver seat and set course for the location where the two dots on the scanner had been.

You know, we could always host this type of contest by ourselves on Brick Horizon. EDIT: It's a possibility anyway.
-
I don't even know what I'm getting at exactly myself. It's just that you have said/posted some stuff here in the past (especially stuff about the CW) that I didn't agree with. But never mind that. I know you don't have anything against me, and I respect your taste/opinion. Now let's get that contest started already!
-
WTF? What kind of a reason is that! And is that really reason enough for you to kill somebody? I hope I never have to meet you in real life! You really hate EU, don't you. Oh well, it's not like this is the first time we disagreed on something. Wow! Thanks for agreeing with me for once! That would be more like it. And yes, Ahsoka's JSF is a very generous price although a bit ironic.
-
Ahsoka's fate: She will become a Jedi master, survive everything, marry Jar Jar, and live happily ever after. Seriously, why the heck do you all hate her so and want her to die in the worst possible ways?! What did she ever do to you people? I for one don't really care what happens to her as long as it makes for a good episode. Even though I don't want her to die, I', expecting that to be the case due to what Yoda said in the movie: It is debatable why exactly Anakin will have to let her go, but I interpret Yoda's line as a foreshadowing of a future incident where Skywalker will have no choice but to let Ahsoka go, which means a tragic death scene to me. However, this show seems to have too light of a tone to feature something that tragic, so I'm not sure if I'm right. Either way, we'll have to wait and find out. But if she is going to die, I'd like it if it was at the hands of General Grievous since any Jedi killed by him is a well killed Jedi. But I doubt that that will be the case. I like the idea of having a contest about this. But I wouldn't call it "Kill Ahsoka" and rather something like "Ahsoka's Fate" (like the title of this topic) so that it's not so limited and allows contestants to show what they think will happen to her. This could also result some humorous entries as well (like my example above ).

That's some deadly LEGO. I kinda like this show too. It's just as dumb and random as all the other [as] shows, but it has an interesting style, and you just gotta love cartoon violence. Thanks for sharing, but I don't think this deserves its own topic. Next time, yous should post such things here. Sorry for mini-modding.

Thanks for those descriptions, Simon! Some promising stuff in there! I totally can't wait for the Mace Windu episode! Looks like they're saving the best for last! Or at least humanoid shield. Yes, they were very "kool"! If TLC does decide to make a small set of this episode, they should include one of those speeders, a normal BARC speeder, a Talz warrior on a Narglatch (hopefully new molds, not just Boga in blue ), Anakin & Obi Wan in snow gear (using the new Hoth rebel goggles), the Chairman, maybe even the young Senator, and last but not least, Rex in snow armor!
-
I agree! For a single episode, it had the most story/conflict to date! That, and the surprisingly beautiful icy landscape make this an excellent episode! Also, it was very cool watching Rex save the chairman in his snow armor! Only thing that bugs me a little: Weren't Talz supposed to be from Alzoc III and not to be discovered until 15 BBY? Oh well, I guess that theory never made much sense anyway, seeing as there were Talz seen throughout the galaxy before that, like Foul Moudama or Muftak. I guess this is just Filoni ignoring the EU again. Maybe he'll think of an explanation later on; something like "To protect the Talz from any further harm, the Jedi destroyed every record of them." Yes, I did, of course, and I really liked it! Very nice artwork too! But I think that the poetic Dreams of Grievous is still the best and most sad one. Don't be scared. I'm pretty sure that it will turn out to be somebody completely else, someone you don't expect to be the traitor at all. I mean, isn't that how all those type of stories end?
-
Exactly! Cause if you listen to Obi Wan at 4:30 in this scene, you'll see that Ahsoka is still a youngling when she meets Anakin, so she couldn't have had a prievious master other than Yoda. And I'm pretty sure that it wasn't Yoda who told her to use that stance. But judging from her frequent quotations of the stuff from the Jedi Archives, I'm guessing that she read about it and, being a rebel at heart, decided to use it. And then, later on, Anakin learns that this stance is an effective one by observing Ahsoka, so he teaches it to Starkiller. That's my guess at least. Why the heck not? It's really easy actually. Just take the lightsaber out of the minifig's hand, turn it 180 degrees, and reattach it to the hand. Of course they can't point it straight down, but they can hold it behind their back and on their side and stuff. Besides, having them point it down would look stupid/lame anyway. So, I don't see a problem.
-
Or maybe the other way around. Maybe TLC is planning to use the new goggles from the upcoming Hoth BP on Obi & Annie in a future set from this episode! Would be great to get some Talz!
-
You're right, Tim Bit! So, yeah, shut up, jifel! Hehe, just kidding, jifel. It's great to have you (and all the other new players) in the game and are glad you guys are enjoying it! Keep the MOCs coming! @repubilcFORCES: As Jim said, read the rules, create a character, and get into the game! You'll be welcome (as long as you post frequently)! Oh, and btw, JD's links to the pics of the Fortitude are FINALLY working! I have already made a mini version of the ship based on those pics, and it came out pretty damn good! I'm waiting for a good opportunity to make pics for the game of it. Btw, JD, have you made those changes you wanted to do yet? If so, can you please upload pics of it? I'd like to see them so that I can make the same on my Mini.

You mean the Battle of Geonosis? You can't compare that at all! They all had lightsabers, and at the end, they had the help of a whole army of clones! In the end, they won, yes, but it was a pyrrhic victory. Besides, that was a battle! Anakin & Obi Wan never wanted to fight the pirates, just escape from them, and being Jedi (good guys), they couldn't kill the pirates in order to do so. Dooku might have been able to fight the pirates mentally (he is a Sith/bad guy) and physically (with force lightning, force choke, etc.), but Anakin & Obi wouldn't have let him, which means that he would have had to kill them first. But he didn't want to do that since he would have had to "carry their bodies". Also, there were much more than just "a dozen" of pirates, so (as Filoni said) even if Dooku would have fought them, the risk of him getting harmed was quite high. On a personal note: I don't think Dooku is all that powerful. In fact, he is the weakest Sith I know. I have never seen him win a fair fight. Also, did anyone notice that a single blaster shot was enough to cut the energy rope that tied them together? That means that they could have easily taken one of the pirates' blasters and freed themselves. Oh well, no matter how you turn it, these two episodes didn't make sense, so let's try to forget about them and just hope that there wont be any more illogical episodes like that. Old news, Jim. But yeah, it was, and the Ark will be next, so look out for it!
