Not me! I think that French(ish) accent is hot! You may have a point there. But I think the reason for Aayla not taking too much initiative is the theme of this episode. It's about doubting the Jedis' behaviour in the Clone Wars. If the Jedi would have kicked more butt in this episode, the kids who are watching the show might have actually started to believe that the Jedi (or at least Aayla) really aren't the good guys. And we certainly don't want that to happen. So maybe this wasn't the best time or place for the Jedi to appear powerful, but otherwise, I agree with you! Some Jedi really could be portrayed a little more badass than they appear to be right now. Except Yoda, who has been shown to have plenty of power in the very first episode of the show! There should be more episodes like Ambush where we see other Jedi masters defeating a whole CIS army on their own! I'm really hoping for an episode like that with Mace Windu! That kinda bugs me too, but I think Filoni might be right when he says that the Jedi may be able to take out a majority of the pirates, but not all of them. Especially not without any lightsabers! Pirates are much smarter than BDs after all. And when did it ever happen that 200 Jedi defeated a 10,000+ CIS army on their own (meaning without help from clone troopers) and with no lightsabers? He always sounds weird. But at least his voice isn't as annoyingly high-pitched as in the movies. Yes, I really liked that battle too! The most interesting thing about it is that it was an air battle, not a space battle, something that we had never really seen before. But I don't think the CIS will win. Sure it may have seemed that way by the time Aayla and the others left the battle, but I'm pretty sure that the Republic will win the battle by the end of the next episode. It's always the same: When there is more than one part/episode to a story, the bad guys will appear to win for the first parts to create a cliffhanger, but in the last part, the good guys always win. It's only in some stand-alone episodes like Cloak of Darkness that the Separatists truly win. Btw, have I ever mentioned that I saw a special sneak preview of one of the episodes from around the end of season 1? They showed it at an animation convention in August. The episode was still a WIP back then, so it didn't have any rendering. It was a scene that showed At least that's what I think it was. Anyway, it seemed to be an interesting episode!

In that case, I think the (sub)title of this topic should be something like "Show Your Display" so that people know what they are supposed to post here. My display doesn't look all that good right now IMO, but maybe I'll post it later.

OK... So, we are talking about baseplates in relation to displays now? Well, I don't really use baseplates for my displays. Usually, it's just vehicles on a shelf. The good guys' vehicles face one way, the bad guys' vehicles face the other, so that it look like the two factions are rolling toward each other. I only use baseplates when I want to display single minifigs (like a formation of BDs or a Jedi leading his clones into battle) or include a certain scenery. On a side note: I think there should be a topic where members are asked to post pics of their displays. That would make much more sense than topics like this one. What do you guys think?

I like the sound of that. But on second thought, I only like R&C because it's a fun game, not an interesting stury. When it comes to storytelling, Jak & Daxter is a much better candidate for an animated TV show or movie, IMO! That would be awesome! HALO would make an awesome movie, of course, and I think they are already working on it. I don't know if it would be a good TV show, though. There is not enough material to make an entire show of, I think, and it could end up as something similar to Star Wars: The Cline Wars. Although the live action movies weren't all that good, Tomb Raider might make for an interesting TV show too. And since the last Metal Gear Solid game was made out of more cutscenes than playable levels, why don't they just stop making games and start making it all an animated movie. But what would really be interesting is an animated TV show in the style of Super Smash Bros.! You know, a show where characters from different games team up to fight bad guys, and not only characters from Nintendo games, but from all games! That's all I can think of right now.

HEY! Don't blame me; it's Jim who is being too lazy/busy to take the time to get the index done and give me the green light to start the new season. If I were in charge, we would be half-way through the first chapter already. Hm... those sound pretty good. "Dauntless" sounds a bit weird, though. If I had to pick from those choices, I'd say Fortitude, 'cause it's a good name for a ship since it could refer to either our group's strength or the strength of the ship itself. What do you guys think? Yes. I just really like that word, "paradox". I think it would be too complicated to come up with a new name for the ship all the time, but even if we did, it would still need a "true" name, one that we refer to the ship with all the time, like the serenity is called the serenity, you know. So, let's try to find that name. We don't keep the time machine thing secret. It's just that nobody would believe us since there is no trace of it. But yeah, I get your point. An interesting idea to call our ship that. But since the only secret agents in our team are Jim and Adan (and maybe Garviel), I don't think the name of our ship should be based on secret keeping. Sorry, just my opinion. Well, if you would do it via PM, and if you are sure you can trust us ( ) ( ), I say go for it. Ask who wants to see them and tell those people to PM you. But as simonjedi said, we already know what it looks like, so you don't need to do this. So... What do we do with them? Just drag them along, like we did with Skipper? You have finals already? Didn't your school start, like, 2 weeks ago? Anyway, don't worry about it. School has priority. But once you're done, you better get going! JD is getting impatient. Interesting ideas. Another option that doesn't involve him becoming a separatist would be a Duel of the Droids style side plot where he gets captured by grievous (or is about to be) and we have to find and destroy him in order to prevent his memory of Republic secrets falling into enemy hands or something. As I said, since he is a droid, there are many interesting ways of taking him out of the game, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The game hasn't even started yet, and Jim says that he is still playing, so we'll see what happens.

Well, no, but he is still a little kid, so about the only thing they could do is an episode about him starting to step into his father's footsteps as a bounty hunter. I think in episode 20, "Storm over Ryloth". There is a sneak peek on the CW DVD from that episode that shows Ahsoka sitting on a starfighter that looks like the lego set, crying over a mistake that she did in a space battle.

Awesome! Very nice idea, and a great choice for a theme! It was about time that we see more Avatar MOCs here, and this raffle (even though it's not as good as a contest) should motivate everyone to make some! Therefore, thank you so much for organizing this! I have some questions though: Can we make a separate WIP thread for our MOC? Anything is allowed, right? (custom pieces & decals etc.) Can't you at least give us a hint around when the thread will close? Can't wait to see the entries! I'm also very curious what themes the other raffles will have.

That looks FREAKIN AWESOME! I'm so excited now! SW: Battlefront is one of my favorite (Star Wars) games of all time, and this one seems to be better than all of the prievious titles combined! I agree to all of that! Very cool cutscenes, meaning that this title will finally have some interesting story behind it with cool new, canon Jedi! A lot of the gameplay scenes look great! The one that intrigued me the most is where the Eta 2 takes off from Coruscant, passes skyscrapers and capital ships, and lands in the hangar of a capital ship IN SPACE! I was very disappointed that they took the feature of using starfighters in ground battle levels from Battlefront I out of the last two titles, even though the new space battles were pretty sweet. Now, it looks like they combined the two improved battle styles (ground & space) from Battlefront II into one that's similar to the levels of Battlefront I! A very good move IMO! With Free Radical having closed, it may be possible that the game ends up not being released, but they would be a fool to let that happen. So here is for hoping that they will find somebody else to finish the game for them! It looks very good so far, so it can't be all that long until it's finished.

From what I can see in that picture, the ship looks very good, JD. So, what do you think we should call it? I'm not so sure about your Rex, though. We already agreed that he is the commander from the clone BP. Besides, yours looks more like a captain than a commander without the visor. Although having six engines might be too much, I agree that having some big ones on the side would look good. Perhaps those could replace the ones at the top rear. Or we could leave it as it is and just say that I did my miracle engineering on the ship's engines to supercharge them, like on Garviel's fighter. Speaking of which, Oky Wan must be a real genius if he modified Garviel's Delta-7 to have a hyperdrive without making any visual changes when not even Anakin Skywalker was able to hide the hyperdrive thruster on his Azure Angel. Thanks for that info! But you didn't need to tell me in which sets I can find the piece in. The AT-AP doesn't interest me for some reason, and the JSF with booster ring is a little pricey for me. If it goes on sale someday, I'll be sure to get it though. As for which insignia to use: Unless we are part of that "Open Circle Fleet", we shouldn't use that insignia. So, it's either the Rebel Aliance insignia or the Republic one (even though it's too obvious). I like the idea of using the Rebel one because it would be a unique symbol (for the Clone Wars era) and represents hope. And anyone who has the Rebel BP has that insignia. Therefore, I'd say let's go with that. Hm. I don't know. He did express the wish for a second season at the beginning of this thread, but we haven't heard much from him since. I might have to PM him to get a confirmation on that. The new season should begin in February - if Jim FINALLY gets the MOC index done by then.

That would work too, but if we have that sign on our HQ ship, we would have to have it on our starfighters as well, but I (like some others) don't have that piece. The insignia of unity (the black and white one), on the other hand, should be in the possession of everybody by now, thanks to the BP. Therefore, I think that one would be best. Btw, what does that circle insignia represent? I tried to find it on Wookieepedia, but I couldn't. Yes, I thought about that too. Perhaps it should have a name related to time travel as a reference to our victory of the last season. Therefore, I think "Paradox" would be a cool name. What do you guys think? Btw, I don't think BPac is playing anymore. After his last post in this game, he hasn't posted anything anymore, and he is not answering any PMs. I think we should take him out of the game until we hear from him again. His character is a droid, so we don't have to kill him off; we can just say that he is deactivated and is lying in a closet on board our ship. So, if he should decide to keep playing, we can just activate him again.

After all these days, the pics are STILL not public, JD. Perhaps you should try it again or something. Uploading them to a different site like Flickr as simonjedi suggested might be a good idea too. Btw, how long does it take you to upload the pic of Rex? For your ship? Well, as of now, we don't even know what it looks like completely, so it's hard to tell. Besides, you're the one who built it, so why don't you give it a name (or a couple of possible names) and we tell you if we approve or not? Sounds good. Makes more sense than using the Imperial insignia at least. But I would still prefer it if we had the usual Republic one. I mean, we're still working for the Republic after all.

I think his words did make sense and that he appeared to be in grief - compared to his usual happy/goofy self at least. Yes. As I said before, this is exactly what bothered me the most too. Well, it might be true that she is more "shapely" than other female character on the show, and she has a Russian accent, which makes her even hotter but it's not like she walks around naked or anything. Therefore, I agree with Snake in saying: Who cares what the kids think! What do you mean? There have been several episodes without Annie already, like Lair of Grievous, Cloak of Darkness, and Ambush. Besides, the episodes that have Anakin in it aren't all that bad, especially Duel of the Droids and (probably) the upcoming 2-parter with Aayla Secura. Speaking of which... Looks like you'll get some answers on your questions about the morality of the Jedi in the Clone Wars, Mr. Mandalorian.

Yes, this episode did have a lot of nice quotes, and that last one was my favorite too. What was also nice is the Twi'lek silhouette on the pirate's speederbike and the poster on the wall, a nice reference to bikers of our universe, and the poster on the wall. And did anyone catch the Indy reference? We don't hate Ashoka. He/she is a nice and respectable EB member. Ahsoka, on the other hand, is somebody some people do seem to hate. I don't share that feeling, however. I think she is a fun character. But I agree that her conversations with Anakin do get annoying after a while, especially when they call each other by their stupid nicknames. I disagree. Clone commanders are boring. Mostly, they are all the same. They are clones after all. Besides, we get a new clone commander with every second episode or so, so you shouldn't have any reason to complain.

I am currently receiving catalogs from S@H, but I have never gotten a Lego Club Magazine and never asked for one. So, I was quite surprised when I found a Club Magazine in my mail the other day. I just saw "Gungan General", and I must say it was almost as disappointing as "Dooku Captured". However, there were some nice things going on, like for example And Jar Jar's actions in this episode were quite pleasant except for the fact that this was the first time that one of his shenanigans actually caused some deaths. And it looks like there wasn't any big plan behind Dooku's decision to let himself get captured and walk around tied to two jedi, except for getting his behind off of that planet. I don't know. Somehow this 2-part story was kinda stupid. Oh well, it looks like the next episode will be much better. It has Aayla Secura in it! Woohoo! Btw, has anyone read the webcomic to "Gungan General"? It features the pirates' Kowakian Monkey Lizard trying to poison Obi & Annie. It's hilarious! Reminded me of a Road Runner cartoon. Now, I don't want to start a fight with an admin, but... I must say I don't like your tone, JINZONINGEN. What you said was almost insulting to people who liked that idea. People like me. I think the "carbonite infiltration maneuver" was a very creative and clever idea and would have been something new to watch.
