  1. We know that, thanks. This is the scene: As I said in the other thread, I hope he doesn't look this strange and more like the one in the show.
  2. Yup. But they weren't so bad actually. Their heads just looked weird and the LU swords were kind of a gimmick. But the Hordika... Just plain !
  3. All of the Hordikas were just horrible. And I forgot their name now, but the ones with light-up swords looked pretty stupid too. Not like BIONICLEs at all, especially around the face.
  4. Yeah I don't see him in any of the other videos either. I think it's a misunderstanding. Fine! Some people are so lazy! Here you go: That's all you see of him.
  5. He is the hologram behind Ventress at the beginning.
  6. Ah! We are getting closer and closer to finding out how Dooku looks! The next pic that comes up will hopefully reveal what he looks like exactly at last. I like the fact that he comes with a hood, and his speeder doesn't look too bad! I'm kinda disapointed by the pilot droid, though. I mean, a white battle droid doesn't even look close to this: They could have at least replaced the legs with something brick-built that looks a more like the lower body of that pilot droid; something involving cheese slopes perhaps? Do you ever like anything?! :hmpf_bad: Seriously, man, most of your 61 posts here are negative comments! I would appreciate it if you could lighten up a bit.
  7. Hmmm. Interesting conclusion. I do hope, though, that he looks better as a fig. I mean, he is not only ugly, but doesn't even nearly look like the one in the show. However he turns out, I'll get the Solar Sailer anyway.
  8. But mesa wants to! Besides, it's still too early. Lazy! Wow. You actually agree with me on something for once. I know, but as I said, it doesn't help - it's just not very funny/nice. Whatever, though.
  9. Awesome! Excellently built and has some funny stuff going on! But I don't think that you are allowed to show yourself racing, even though you say that you are doing it illegally. Mmmmh... Peach Nectar....
  10. Awesome! Sounds like fun! I'll try to enter as I have many funny ideas already! So... many... contest! It truly is the best time of the year! Thank you so much for giving us this chance to contribute to this fun event!
  11. Oooh! I thought you were Darth Legolas and wondered why he got upset with me. Sorry about that. Next time when you quote, specify which part of a post you are talking about. That will help avoid such confusion. Sorry about the tongue reference too - I guess. Seriously, though, what's up with all the n00bs Vassals with the words "Darth" and "Lego" in their name? Stop trying to copy Darth Legois' username, people! You are confusing the heck out of us!
  12. I voted 2008, so... I guess that makes me a CW n00b. But I'm not a n00b. I have been with Lego SW from the beginning, and I must say that this year has given us the best, most well designed sets yet! PT/CW fans got their fill with all the CW sets, and OT fans get two cool BPs and that amazingly wonderful DS! And we have never had this many new head piece molds either! So, 2008 is definitely the best year so far! I rated this poll poor because IT JUST PLAIN SUCKS! Nah, just kidding. I did vote poor, though, because of these reasons: It's too early. If this poll is to be held in celebration of the anniversary, it should have been held on the anniversary. Besides, we don't have anything to vote on for 2009 besides the 5 sets that are starting to pop up now and the first pics of the solar sailer. Voters don't know what they are voting on. I had to look up each year of LSW on brickset to know what came out when. So, a list of sets or some set pics would be nice. Not pics of every set of course, but maybe a selection of the best sets of each year. Or at least links to the brickset lists of every year of star wars sets. IMO, the poll is a little... well... onesided. There could have been more questions included. Why not ask which year was the worst as well? It renders me (and all voters of 2008) a CW n00b. The "=" and capitalized P don't help. May the force be with us, and may TLC continue to give us great sets!
  13. Yeah, I think you guys are right about the MGSF. Waiting for a set that is around the same price ($35) and includes improved Magnas and a probably exclusive Dooku fig makes much more sense. I'm still not convinced about the AAT being better than the shuttle, though. The RAS just seems to have much more playability, and while I already have old versions of the figs from the AAT, I really need (and want) Mace Windu and the pilot. So I think I'll rather get that one. Yeah, I think you guys are right about the MGSF. 14. Well, the pics are new to us, I think. Thanks. In the link for the Repulic shuttle, one can see the interior very well. Not bad, but it could use some modding, me thinks. I like how you can just fold the roof up instead of dropping the whole interior out of the ship like in the ILC. Yoda looks so cute! Very accurate to the one in the show too!
  15. What? What did I do? Did I say something wrong? I was just making a little Bond reference.
  16. Welcome, Darth Legolas! Very funny title for this topic! Funny. There is someone with a similar name like yours who is known for those tongues. Btw, I don't expect you to talk, Mr. Bond, I expect you to leg godt!
  17. Nope. I don't know about target, but both my local TRU and Lego Store are quite stocked up on all of them.
  18. At TRU in he US, the MagnaGuard starfighter, V19, and Twilight are 30% off until the 20th.
  19. I went to my local TRU today and they had most of the 09 SW sets - except for the clone BP. Now I want to get one of the large ones, but I can't decide which one. Please help me make up my mind here.
  20. Well, that's no surprise.
  21. Alright, so I went to my local TRU today and they had most of the 09 SW sets - except for the clone BP. Now I want to get one of the large ones, but I can't decide which one. Should I get the Republic shuttle or the AAT? The AAT has this cute CW-style Yoda and a bunch of SBDs with new arms, and I need an AAT to fight my Fighter Tank. The shuttle, on the other hand, is $10 more, but it has a clone pilot and that awesome Mace Windu! I already have SBDs and a Ep.2 style Yoda, so I don't really need those. But I do need a Mace and clone pilot. Also, they have the MagnaGuard starfighter for $35 at that same TRU. I really want those Magnas, but I'm not too impressed with the ship. So, should I get it, or rather wait for the Solar Sailer to come out, which probably has Magnas with printed shoulders (as seen on Legoworld) and a new Dooku fig. I have the old Dooku, but I would prefer having one that fits in with my CW figs. So, what do you say?
  22. I say Henry Jones Senior. I have never seen such a detailed fig, and it's Sean Connery spot on! I know that minifigs are all about caricatures, but if you have one that is supposed to represent a specific actor/character, you want it to look like that person as much as possible, and this fig succeeds in that excellently. Plus, his suit is pretty useful, and his head makes for a great fleshie Count Dooku with glasses.
  23. Seconded. That would suck. I mean, it's not like those were gory or anything. Agreed. I mean, c'mon, where is his signature emoness? It would be cool if Ahsoka would die this way, but I think that would defeat the purpose of Annie learning lesson about loss. Of course, we all know that he doesn't learn this lesson until the last freakin' minute when his own son is about to die but still - it's a kids show that is supposed to teach morals and junk. Yes, especially the first one that is shown. It's him in the same pose as in the second fashback of the webcomic. The others are probably representing what Grievous sees himself as today: The same Kaleesh warrior he used to be, but with mechanical limbs as "improvements". True.
  24. You are the one who should be telling us something we don't know. Dude, if you don't like this show, get out of this thread and make your own topic about the old cartoon! Besides, you shouldn't judge the show until you have seen Rookies, Duel of the Droids, and Lair of Grievous. Those are some of the best episodes so far.
  25. How about an average pirate story narrated from the point of view of the pirate's parrot or monkey? He could be mocking pirate cliches that he observes. Could be funny, but probably not worth 10 mins of video. Or how about a story of a pirate who buries a treasure chest and accidentally throws away the map that shows where he hid it? He could chase around the seven seas in order to get the map back and find his treasure again. He fights islanders, imperials, and sea monsters until he finally finds the map and returns to his treasure chest - only to find out that there was only something totally invaluable inside! There are many things you could do! As Captain green hair said, watch other pirate films and build interesting MOCs to get inspired.
