Yes, and how the heck did he get from the underground lab (Sector 12) to the Sith temple (Sector 15) so fast? How did he get out of his bacta tank, and how did he know where we are and that we are in trouble? I didn't read about nobody freeing him. Oh well. Anyway, it sucks that he died. With that, our mission failed. One thing is for sure: I will not be the one who has to explain this to Mace Windu (especially when he is in type of mood )! Good, and while you're at it, you can change my fig too. He should be in his mission gear, the jet trooper outfit. Speaking of which: I can't wait for the Tank Droid set to come out so that I can have a proper jetpack! Yes, and maybe we should try to resolve the whole war by talking! Freaking hippie! Nah, I agree of course. We can use a little character development. I'm a little confused as to why Anakin and Obi are being brought into the story, but I'll find out in the next chapter I guess.

Ah yes, I remember reading that episode description somewhere before. Maybe you're right that this is the mysterious 22nd episode. Would be strange if you would get that before the Ryloth episodes. But I guess it would make more sense since Ryloth is supposed to be the season finale. Only if it's a version of Die Hard With a Vengeance!

Redux of Technic set 8830
Oky replied to Aliencat's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Very cool! Very nicely done! I especially like how you modified the PF remote control to have a steering wheel! Very clever! -
You're right; I was thinking the same thing! As soon as instructions are released, I'll try to recreate the LAAT/c to use it for my AT-TE. Then I will (technically) already have part of the set and will be able to wait for the price to go down. Er... No. I mean, why can't you use this set to reenact a scene from the Battle of Geonosis or one from the Battle of Felucia? Those vehicles were in those scenes in the movies. True, but it's still better to get half the clones than only about a quarter of them as in the case of the AT-TE and RGS. Hey, nice to see you here again, Jax! Thanks for the comment. Yes, these vehicles haven't been seen together before, but you can be sure that they will. Considering that this set comes out after the end of the first season of The Clone Wars, it can very well be that the vehicles are featured in the season finale, the Ryloth series. So this is not really an argument for not liking this set. Btw, it doesn't make much sense to say "long live the TIE Army". That game has been dead for a long time now, even on Brick Horizon. Sorry, but it's the truth.

The first Ryloth episode, "Storm over Ryloth", is episode 19. The Question is: What is episode 22? All we know about it is that it will air on March 20. Could it be that the Ryloth story is in fact 4 episodes long, not 3? I mean, was it ever confirmed that it is a trilogy? If it was, I guess that it's a final short story to end the season, perhaps even with a cliffhanger. Btw, click here to get some information on the second season and on how well the show is doing! Unfortunately, Season 2 is scheduled to start in fall!

Congratulations on noticing! If you would have checked a few posts above yours, you would have seen that we knew this for a long time now. Only one more week 'til the first episode of the Ryloth trilogy and the premiere debut of Ahsoka's starfighter! I'm so excited! Btw, the webcomic for Blue Shadow Virus is finally up. They are really falling behind with these!

Dude, calm down! I'm sure he didn't mean it like that. Besides, he is right that the live-action SW movies are superior to the CW movie. Any mature movie critic agrees with that. Wow. First you say that it's unfair for someone to say this, then say it yourself? Anyway, this is getting way off topic. Btw, please read the title of this poll before you vote, people! I bet most of the votes for "No" were made falsely.

No, that would be boring. The story of the harvester has already been told. The Xonohr relic is a new Sith artifact. Legend says that it amplifies the force power of a Sith. Dooku and Sidious want to find it so that they can make themselves more powerful.
-
Well, maybe right now there isn't, but in 2010 when Toy Story 3 comes out, I'm sure there will be a pretty big demand Toy Story toys.

KK wasn't terrible. In fact, there were some nice sets in that line. It's just that it was kinda like a Castle line that was corrupted by a Power Rangers storyline.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. Yes, "light" is probably the word I was looking for. As for the Joker... well, I don't know. He just looks more like someone wearing a Joker mask than the Clown Prince of Crime himself. But that might just be me. Also, he reminds me a lot of the Joker from the episode "Legends of the Dark Knight" from The New Batman Adventures where they made fun of the 50's cartoon. That sequence was just painful to watch. But As I said, I'll have to see him in action to make my final judgement about him. And I guess you're right that a different voice actor would be better suited for this Joker. I was just hoping that his strange appearance would be balanced out by a good voice performance.

Amen! Batman Beyond came somewhat close to BTAS as it connected to that series very nicely IMO, but yeah, BTAS remains untouched! PS: Return of the Joker is my second favorite Batman movie (Mask of the Phantom being my first of course)!

Are you kidding me? That would be the most boring thing ever! Just slab some wedged plates together and replace 'em with the wings on your UCS TIE Interceptor and - tada! - you have a UCS TIE Fighter. Sorry, I just can't stand TIEs anymore. They're so stupid and boring. What about PT? PT is for adults too and it has most of the vehicles seen in the clone wars. If TLC were to release, say, a UCS RGS, would you die then too? Besides, all of the interesting ships from the OT have been done already, so it would have to be the PT's turn.

Ah, thanks for reviving this thread, Batbrick! I was going to do it at some point, but I guess you beat me to it. My friend who is a die-hard Batfan like you loves this show as much as you, so we both sit down to watch this along with the Clone Wars every Friday night, and I must say that I find myself liking this show a lot too! It's still a little too campy for me, and BTAS will remain the best DC show of all time for me, but this one definitely has its moments! My favorite episodes so far are the ones where Batsy is transformed into an actual Dark Knight and the one where he joins the Green Lantern core! Those were simply badass! Thanks for that preview! That's the season finale that starts in a week together with the CW season finale, right? Looks pretty good! I was wondering when the Joker would finally make an appearance. Like Batman, the Joker seems to be stylized after his portrayal in the very first, corny Batman cartoon. He looks weird, and it's too bad he isn't voiced by Mark Hamill (He is the best Joker ever!), but if he has a good personality, I might get used to him. Can't wait for these episodes! BTBTB on!

Alright, so there you have it. Dooku is after an ancient Sith artifact as simonjedi suggested a while back. As soon as everyone is rescued and we have left Trexxon, we can end the first chapter. And may I take this chance to ask everyone once more to post more pics? It really shouldn't be that hard, and this is supposed to be a COMIC game.

Meanwhile, Oky and Jim walked quickly but quietly through the hall ways of the Separatist compound. "You know what's odd?" Oky asked Jim "This place... It seems really old! At least a few centuries old. But all the technology looks like it had been installed yesterday!" "Maybe this was an old temple and the Seps just turned it into a base" suggested Jim. "You're probably right. but what are they up to?" "That's what we're hopefully about to find out... Wait - What's that?" Jim paused. There were voices coming from behind one of the doors. The door was of an ancient kind, the one where the door was mounted on hinges, and it was slightly open. Oky and Jim peeked inside and saw Dooku kneeling in front of a hologram of his master. Unfortunately, the Sith Lord was cloaked so that they couldn't see who it was. Dooku proceeded to say: "... and I have that foolish scientist believe that this "test" will be an experiment to test a new weapon, but it's really just a way of burning everything around here down and destroy any evidence that we were ever here." Darth Sidious said: "Good... good... And do you have it?" "Yes, my lord," replied Dooku and held up an old holocron. "I finally found it after searching through this entire ancient Sith temple! It was in a secret basement. Now, with the knowledge from this holocron, we will be able to locate the Xonohr relic!" "Excellent" said Darth Sidious. Suddenly, the holocron was lifted out of Dooku's hand and flew right into Jim's. Jim quickly stuffed it in his pocket and shouted: "RUN!" Oky stood there for a second, trying to understand what had just happened. Then he realized that Jim had used the force to steal the holocron from Dooku, and now Dooku was after them. He snapped out of it and started running after Jim. Dooku was right behind them, firing force lightning at them, but fortunately he missed. Jim took out his lightsaber and cut through a pillar while running past it. The pillar collapsed, and with it, a section of the hallway. "That'll hold him off for a while" said Jim. "Now let's just hope that the others are on their way back!"

Some of you compare this set with the RGS and AT-TE. However you should keep in mind that those are separate sets. This one is not. That means that you get twice the playability with this set than with the AT-TE or RGS! And if you own the AT-TE when you buy 10195, the set will have even more playability for you. But if you do see this set as two separate ones in the same package (which it isn't) look at it this way: The AT-OT is a larger vehicle than the AT-TE and has a fancy way of folding the cockpit back/open, so it will have more pieces than the AT-TE. The AT-TE seats 6 clones, but only comes with 2 and none of them is a pilot, so that's less than a third it should have had! The AT-OT seats 16 cones and comes with 6, but at least it also has a pilot to drive the thing. The only thing the AT-TE may be superior to the AT-OT is its playability since it has way more weapons to play with (including the hidden missile launchers) and has less legs, so it's easier to move/pose it. The RGS and LAAT/c are hardly comparable since they have different purposes. The RGS (or LAAT/i) is for troop deployment and has a bunch of playability on its own, like the bacta tank, the command center, or the speeder bike. The LAAT/c on the other hand is made to interact with the AT-vehicles, so it has less features, but instead, it can easily pick up the AT-OT included in the set and drop it off again with the push of a button (which is pretty impressive IMO) and it can even do the same with the AT-TE. What's even better is that the LAAT/c has a convenient fold-away handle and seems to be pretty sturdy, so it has a better design and much more swooshability than the RGS. And while it has all these function, it looks very good IMO with all its greebling etc. Plus it has a more badass color scheme. Also, the LAAT/c comes with a clone Pilot, exactly the minifig it requires. The RGS would have needed 2 pilots and 2 gunners (for the wing turrets), but instead it came with a clone commander, a regular clone, and a bunch of random Jedi/Sith. So the dropship is much better (or at least more accurate) minifig-wise. There. That's my in-depth comparison. I don't expect to change anyone's opinion with this, I just wanted to layout the facts.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
Oky replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Which is also what Salvation will be all about! Can't wait! -
Hehe, nice pics! Thanks! Are those pinchbots attacking the people or partying with them? Cause judging from the happy faces and dance-like poses of the figs around them, I'd say the latter is the case.
-
I agree, the one from the RAS looks much better than the one from the magnet set, especially regarding the face. I hope that's the one I'll get when I get my RAS.
-
"Oh No! Here come the Pinchbots to pinch us to death!" Very cute design and an interesting project. This goes to show that the most creative and fun projects come from random moments. I like how your different pinchbot models have a consistent design. My favorite is the landing bot because he resembles the original pinchbot so well, especially its pinchers. It's not much of an army though. How about showing us the army of original pinchbots you promised us with the title of this thread?

I hope you payed those moths well for their labor, or else you're a moth slave driver!

I completely agree with legoman on this! Even though Yoda and Maul didn't have a plaque, they were obviously UCS sets too. Anything legoman didn't list is just an exclusive.
