Nothing is wrong with me. If you haven't noticed, JD is from the future - a future where Jaina is dead. He hasn't seen her for decades, which is why he forgot all about our fight when he saw her. The problem is that Jaina only knows the present JD, who is off fighting in the CW somewhere, presumably on Felucia. Get it? Well, with all the drama going on lately, that actually makes sense.

Well, as you said, this is comparable with SW. As the "movie magic" gets fancier, prequels start to look better than the originals. But just like in SW, there is an explanation for that: With the group of human resistance fighters growing, Skynet has to go from quality (like the motorbikes & mechs) to quantity (the normal terminators & hunter killers), just like the empire had to cut down on costs to be able to take over the whole galaxy. The only exception are the cyborg terminators, which are kind of the elite force of the machines. That's my theory anyway.

Animator confirms Lego Harry Potter, Lego Indy Crystal Skull games
Oky replied to liquidcross's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yup. Just like they made a Batman game after the last few sets of the theme were released. -
Oky looked away while JD and Jaina made out for a while. Then, JD took a step back to get a good look at Jaina. In a dreamy voice, he said: "You look so... wonderful. I... I missed you so much!" "But... you've only been away for a week. Shouldn't you be stationed on Felucia right now? What happened?" "Errr..." "And what happened to your face... You look so different... You seem so much older... JD, what's going on?" Uh-oh, Oky Wan thought. JD was messing with the time-space continuum by seeing her. How would he ever explain that he is from the future?

Yeah. Also, JD apparently missed her very much (which is why he went to see her), so he probably forgot everything that was going on and wanted to make out with her right away.

Model team return petition
Oky replied to Buttons's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The hood of 4404 basically consisted of only four pieces and the front & back of 4993 are mostly made out of those big bow pieces. Of course it's not an extreme change, but if you ask me, the MT sets had a much more brick-built feel. -

Yup, same here! It simply has to happen! There is SO much potential! Besides, it's the least TLG can do to repay all the Lego Potter fans for discontinuing the theme. -
Ah. I see. Well, now that I think about it, it would make more sense than the Break Jaw headpiece since there already are two other villains with that headpiece. Besides, it would fit because his female partner has quite distinguishable hair as well, and together, their hair would have complimentary colors. Also, why else would he not have any headpiece on the display model? If he was going to have the Break Jaw headpiece in the final product, it would have been easy for them to put one onto him for Toy Fair. Unless someone managed to steal the headpiece from Toy Fair.

Model team return petition
Oky replied to Buttons's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Let's face it: Model Team as we know it wont return. The design standard has changed a lot with the production of all the smooth, round, and/or <insert that tiresome argument> pieces, so the best thing we can hope for is for TLC to release more sets in the spirit of the 2003 Creator sets and S@H exclusives like the VW Beetle or the big airplanes. Whether this happens under the name of a new Model Team-like theme or not doesn't matter. -
Nice pics! These sets are looking excellent, especially Robo Attack! That set is just packed with awesome little references and details, like the Classic Space tribute and Inferno's escape flyer! I don't care much for the aerial defense unit, but the villain in that set looks awesome! I really want most of these sets, but unless I can catch 'em on sale, I wont be able to afford them with all the awesome SW lego coming up. Green Dooku hair? What are you talking about? If you look at the top of his torso, it becomes rather obvious that this is Slime Face pretending to be Inferno! What an awesome plot! Oooh! Sounds intriguing! How about finishing IA first, though.

Animator confirms Lego Harry Potter, Lego Indy Crystal Skull games

Yes! I knew there was some truth in those HP game rumors! Even though this is still not completely confirming anything, this is still great news since the information seems to be reliable and shows that they are at least planning these games. Can't wait to get some official confirmation and release dates for these! Lego Harry Potter ON! -
Sure! Sounds good! Anything that will make the main plot longer is a good thing (as long as it's nothing silly of course). So, yeah, ga ahead and do that, but as always, don't get into personal side plots for too long. Lol. This story is becoming more & more Indy-like.

Maybe. I bet it was Hinckley.

Hello there! I'm sorry to create yet another topic about Chrome Vaders, but this question just popped into my head. There is an awesome contest over at (the new & improved) FBTB where the Second Prize winner has the choice of either a Chrome Vader or a Chrome Threepio, so I was thinking which one I would choose. Then, I wondered what everyone else would choose. So, please vote and tell us why you would prefer your choice. I would prefer the Threepio. It would make more sense to have since C-3P0 is pretty shiny in the movies, but Vader isn't all that shiny. In fact, his suit looks like it's made out of plastic in the movies, so it makes sense to have a plastic Vader. Besides, the Threepio fig is older and more valuable than the Vader, and there is still a chance that Vader could come out of one of the sets I will purchase this year. So what's your choice?

Hello there! I just wanted to let you guys know that there have been three new comics since we talked about them the last time: Sith Make the Best Pancakes That's no Space Station Always trust Secret Strategy #3 They are excellent, as always!

So... erm... I couldn't help but notice that EB was inaccessible for a few hours today. Just curious: What happened?
-
Wow! That's almost minifig scale! Looks promissing. Quite a big project, though. If you succeed with it, I'll be very impressed!
-
That would be nice, but how do we prove that someone's Vader actually came out of the stated set? Apparently, not even a video of a Chrome Vader coming out of the box of a set is proof enough. ... Wait a minute! Does that actually work? If so, that would be the first actually affective way of checking for the Chrome Vader since it would be easy to bring a powerful magnet into a store and check if there is resistance if you hold it up to box! Can anyone confirm if these Vaders respond to magnets at all?
-
Well, at the first sight, these just seem to be regular Belville figs with weapons in their hands. Not very impressive, but a nice idea. There are a lot of things that could have been better here. For example, the setting looks too peaceful. If these figs would have been placed in an actuall Hell setting (a red baseplate with flames and maybe some BURPs in the background), it would have delivered the evil feeling of the figs much better. Also, some photoshopping (like making the eyes red) would have helped.

Looks like TLC can't get rid of the clunk-a-dunk. No surprise there. This is a nice price for this set though. But still not low enough for me to even consider purchasing this monstrosity of a ship. If it were, say, a third of the MSRP, I might think about it, but only for parts and for completion's sake. Then again, there are so many other sets I would rather have...
-
Funny that you say that. Isn't it you who constantly keeps criticizing people for saying this?! Oh well. I don't mean to flame.

Erm, Pr0? Could you please change your post a bit? It doesn't make much sense. Why are Jim, JD, you, and I together again all of a sudden? JD is lying in his appartment, I am repairing the Fortitude, and Jim ran off to have the holocron replicated already. If you want, you can say that Jim met with you, but please take me & JD out of your post. Thanks, and please pay a little more attention from now.
-
Looks cool! If this should ever be available over here, I'll definitely consider getting it for parts! Agreed! Macaroni pieces are awesome! And this set seems to be full of them. Also, if that baseplate is really one piece, this would be a neat way to get such a rare piece!

I think you are. Look what it says on the wookieepedia page DarthSion linked to: Isn't that exactly what you wanted to hear? Btw, DarthSion, why did you start a new thread for the live action show? There already is one about it. And please stop posting such sarcastic posts! Everyone has a right to have his own opinion.
-
Yeah, this thread is kinda biased. I take the question serious, though, and am thinking what to vote for. Both themes have a similar charm to them. But I think I'll vote for Castle since there is more variety in sets (not only ships and forts and islands) and more factions (not only Pirates & Imperials).
