Two new keychains have been found: Leia and Wicket

Interesting idea, but think about it: Every series of collectable figs is comprised of 16 minifigs. If each minifig is from a different movie, Lego would have to buy so many licenses that it would go bankrupt. Right, because that's the kind of crap I'd want my kids to play with. Seriously, do you guys even think about what you're writing there? I realize this is a dreaming thread, but still. Besides, no offense, but if you're dreaming of serial killer Lego sets, you might wanna consider seeing a psychiatrist. Anyway, I would love it if there was a Tintin license, possibly tied to the upcoming Spielberg movies. There could be sets like the small submarine, Haddock's mansion, or a mayan temple. And I think I already said this, but it would be great if TLC would make more Avatar: The Last Airbender sets based on the new live-action movies. There are still so many great sets and minifigs that could come out of this theme! I also wouldn't mind sets from James Cameron's Avatar. That would be very cool actually.

As ADHO15 said several months ago: Soon. (You know I'm just teasing you, ADHO, right? )

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Oky replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yes, that's what I meant. And what would that be? Yeah, you might be right. Would be neat to be able to target your enemies and throw a lightsaber at them. -
No offense, but these look nothing like tactical droids. More like really fat, colorful penguins with broken necks. Remove the slope in the back, and try coming up with a different design for the arms and a way to attach the head in the center. Then you'll start getting somewhere.

I doubt it. There were no TS3 sets at NYTF because of them, and the train seems to be the only set they showed at that event Tilius linked to. Also, there was no pic of the Trash Comactor set on ComingSoon.net because it's . (There, I used spoiler tags. Are you happy now, Disney? ) But that's how he looks in the movie too. What bothers me is that his legs have the same gapping holes as the wampa's arms. But at least they're not as noticeable as on the wampa.
-
Thanks for the links, Tilius! That's some pretty awesome stuff, especially that jetpack. Oh, and this picture is priceless! You're the man, Lasseter! Anyway, here are some hi-res pics from ComingSoon.net: 7789 Lotso’s Dump Truck (MSRP $19.99) 7597 Western Train Chase (MSRP $79.99) I wonder why Ham isn't included in any of the recent pics of the train set, and the two other characters are missing from the dump truck set.

*adds Shoot Em Up to Netflix queue* Well, this is actually a site intended for adults... but fine, let's leave it at that. It IS true. I read it in CGW magazine. Here's the article, in case you're interested in reading it. Ah, I wanted to see that one soon too. Yes, that type of ending has been getting old lately, especially since the release of TDK. Batman/Superman: Public Enemies suffered from the same problem. I don't care how badass Batman is, there is no way he could have survived
-
I see. So... Shoot 'em Up is a good one? I wanted to see that one for a while now... What about me? You know, the whole thing about the main character being designed rather square whereas the secondary characters (his wife and the kid) are very round, "smoothing his edges" so to say, and completing him in more than one way. While not PIXAR's best or my personal favorite, UP is a very good movie, though I disagree that it's for kids only. The whole story about an old man trying to fulfill his and his dead wife's lifelong dream is actually a very coming-of-age type of story which kids probably wont even really understand. As a whole, the movie is made to appeal to pretty much anyone though, just like all PIXAR movies, having all elements that make up a good family movie (action/adventure, comedy, drama, cute animals, etc.). I'd say two thumbs UP. (Yeah, bad pun, I know.) Last movie I watched was Death Race. Friggin love that movie. It's not a particularly good one, but it's very enjoyable to me somehow, mainly because it stars my favorite car, plus the story aint half bad.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Oky replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Uhm, haven't you read the press release that has been posted over eight times? Apparently it's "Squad command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber jumps, long distance Jedi attacks and Grapple Tie-Ups", whatever they mean. Btw, you forgot "No Hub menu" and "broomstick flight" for Harry Potter. -
No, it says "Clone Trooper x2", so probably no Bly.
-
Some very valid points. Now I'm pretty sceptical too. Wouldn't surprise me either if it wont be included, considering we are getting a few new molds with this set already. Besides, a lone tactical droid wouldn't make any sense in such a set anyway. They need a CIS vehicle or at least some BDs to command.

Got Woody's Roundup today from TRU at the $39.99 sale price. Now my Toy Story wave 1 collection is complete! I'll be working on a review soon.
-
Hmmm... Maybe that's why there was no battle droid on display... Because the tactical droid isn't ready yet. Good eye! I wonder what it will look like.
-
So, are these magnets already available? You know, doing that with the printed-legs-and-arms-Cloud-City Boba would result in the perfect Boba fig!
-
Well, with Bane's speeder and this magnet set coming out, the Venator set just became completely worthless. I'm not interested in the CW one as I already have those sets, but the Endor one is great! Finally a cheap regular Han!
-
Thanks for that pic, lightningtiger! I wonder where the other figs are... What the heck are you talking about? Believe it or not, this is a system set. Too bad we haven't seen these at Toy Fair yet, but there are banners and empty walls dedicated to Toy Story, so I'm guessing there will be a big unveiling later on. Can't wait!
-
I was just gonna say the opposite thing. I mean, I can understand that one doesn't like Fith Element if it's not your type of humor, but Armaggedon is a very fun movie IMO; cheesy in a good way, with some pretty good effects for its time. Anyone agree? Btw, it's not very nice how you "fix" other peoples' comments, Batbrick. It's as if you're censoring their opinion. I think it would be better if you would say something like "I disagree with that".

More hi-res Scan Still can't make out what the Karate Kid is holding, but it looks like some sort of golden microfig!
-
After looking at the new pics of Boba's new helmet, there is no doubt in my mind that they will recolor it and reuse it for Mandos eventually. Not sure if they will be in a BP or not, but there's a very good chance they might be, considering their popularity and the fact that we saw an entire army of these guys in the last episode.
-
Yes, I have consolidated quite a bit. I mostly focus on Toy Story, Harry Potter, and Clone Wars sets. But I usually buy some small sets from other themes too, just to have some variety in parts and minifigs for MOCs. That doesn't make any sense.
-
So much for the hopes of a Lego Iron Man theme. I didn't care for the Halo sets, but this, this makes me a bit angry. Oh well, nothing we can do, I guess. Looking forward to your review though.

Thanks for the pic! Good to finally see (prelim versions of) the rest of the Series 2 figs. Hopefully we'll get final ones from Toy Fair soon. I'm impressed to see that the mime's accessories are extra heads with different expressions. That'll be quite useful. Also, his hat, along with the crash test dummy, will make it very easy to create Mythbuster MOCs! It's also great to finally get a yellow bare chest. Hopefully the cop's helmet will be a real cop helmet in the final version, like the one the T1000 had in Terminator 2!

Does Space Police III promote racism and xenophobia?
Oky replied to Sonic Screwdriver's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Good luck finding those in real life. By the way, you forgot Rock Monsters and Robots. -
Yup, here it is, the Undercover Cruiser before transformation: Not bad actually. Still wont buy it though. The only thing that interests me is that sweet limo. Here's the "Brickfather": You can find the rest of the pics here: 5983 SP Undercover Cruiser 5984 Lunar Limo 5985 Space Police Central
