  3. No offense, but that's not much of a diorama. Just some elevated plates on a baseplate with the Endor bunker and RGS next to it. The fact that you provide no story and only one pic doesn't help it either. Perhaps you could expand on the first post a bit?
  4. What about Sonic?! I know, the recent games kinda sucked, but still. Anyway, Corruption was the only Metroid game I played, and I enjoyed it, even though I never finished it. I'm usually not a fan of first-person, but the way you looked around by aiming the Wii-mote was pretty cool and well done. Graphics were some of the best on the Wii as well. Out of the three/four, my favorite would have to be Mario. I have only played the Wii games, but I can already tell this is my favorite. I love platforming games, so the New Super Mario Bros is instant win for me, and Mario Party 8 is the best party game I've ever played (next to Smash of course). Besides, you just gotta love the stereotypical voicing. Mario ON!
  5. Oh, OK, well it's time now, so let's play (as soon as Bob is back that is).
  6. Uhm, okay: "Yes". Seriously, though, I bet they wont, just like the chrome or any other promo.
  7. Yeah, but right now it's out of stock. If they restock it, I'll buy four and get a fifth one for free! It'll be like buying a Silver Stormie Battle Pack with 5 figs. Well, at least we're not one of those people who payed 20-30 bucks just to get it a few days early from Legoland. Hm, good eye. I would have prefered it with a sniper too (I have way too few of those) but oh well. Hehe, you too.
  8. Hey, Bob and ADHO, don't forget, it's daylight savings time now, so we'll be playing an hour earlier.
  9. Right now, in TRU stores (and online) in the US, you get a free Chrome Stormie in polybag with any LEGO Star Wars set purchase of $11.99 or more! Get 'em quick before they're gone! Now I feel kinda stupid having gotten the magnet set at its ridiculous price.
  10. You've been trolling the forums? I don't think that's something to brag about. Anyway, neat gunship. Looks very powerful. Put some (trans) lime green on there and some propellers and you've got yourself an atlantisified RGS.
  11. Can't wait to see your entry, Batbrick! Shouldn't those two things have been proof enough that they are too big? Well, the result is very good! Very nice entry. It has a nice "Classic Whacking" feel to it. Hehe, thanks. Glad you like it. Yes, I was unsure how to pose the minifig myself, but I think it works the way it is now. If any other things come up that need to be improved, I'll try to fix it, but for now, I'll leave it as it is. Thanks for the criticism though. Mmmh... donuts...
  12. Ah, thanks for the link! That's what I was talking about earlier. Yes, I mean the "eBay thing" and the post Etzel linked to, plus their presence on TRU.com.

    Gotham Bank

A penthouse for the Penguin? So, the Penguin will reside in a building that is run by his arch foe? How ironic! Ah yes, that looks much better. Much more imposing and Gotham-like (except for the lack of gargoyles of course). Can't wait to see it finished! So, how about the modularity? I will!
  14. No offense, but the fact that something is over a decade old is usually the reason not to make a license for it for TLC. I personally haven't even heard of it. @ M'Kyuun: I must say I wholeheartedly disagree with you. While a Tron theme would be cool, there's really not all that much that I can see coming out of it, whereas PoP gives us lots of exotic builings, pieces, and minifigs. Besides, Lego can't always make futuristic themes. And IGPX is just one among many mecha-based animes whereas Avatar is a very unique show with an epic story line reminiscent of that of Harry Potter or Star Wars, with lots of iconic vehicles and buildings to make sets out of (Fire nation tank, war blimp, sandbender catamaran, submarine, the library, fire nation or earth kingdom palace, etc, etc). But then again, I'm a huge Avatar fan and slightly biased towards Anime.
  15. Very cool entries. Who knew the Republic employed steampunk technology? If that wasn't such a darn good MOC, I'd criticize it for not being very "starwarsy", but due to its awesomeness, I really can't argue. The reactor control room complements the monitoring station nicely in the way that it's so similar to it. You have a real talent for greebly creations.
  16. Thanks. Well, I got the one with Han, Paploo, and Scout trooper the same day I got these, and I can tell you that they are the lower quality too, though it's hard to notice unless you have the originals to compare them with because the black and brown pieces aren't all that different from the ones from the sets. Even the Scout trooper is hard to differentiate from others. But as I said, there's word that the quality will change soon, so whoever is interested in buying this or any other current magnet set might want to wait a little bit. Either Army Men or Woody's Roundup. You're welcome. Yes, kids surely wont notice the difference - until parts of the minifigs start breaking due to their lower quality. What do you mean "stuffed"? You do realize that that sounds pretty disgusting, right?
  17. "Suck laser!" That never gets old. Hehe, very nice, JD. The pauses between the sentences around the time where Rex is trying to detonate the charges are a bit long, but otherwise, this is pretty good. Can't wait for the big finale! And the bloopers.
  18. Something to drool over: Hi-res pics of (the CG versions of) the Series 1 figs.
  19. Maybe you haven't noticed, but brickipedia is about as reliable as the Lego Message boards. That date is obviously bogus. The sets are apparently already popping up, and they will probably be available on S@H by March 28, considering the catalog with the PoP sets in it is released on that date.
  20. Well, there were rumors a little while ago that there were PoP sets available in some Legoland airport store. We haven't heard anything of that ever since, so I thought it might not have been true, but I guess it was. Either way, all things considered, it can't be long now that they are released officially. EDIT: Corrected, with a link. (Thanks, Etzel, for finding that post!)
  21. That would be great! Hehe, yeah, this reminds me of that bit from Family Guy: Blue Harvest.
  22. Well, I don't know about that, but yes, S2 is better than S1 and the whole show is pretty good. Oh no, I got that, but it still seemed somewhat lame to me. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood when I watched it. If I watch it again, I'll probably enjoy it more. Yup, this episode pretty much finalizes it: the Jokermobile HAS to be MOCed! Oh, shuddupuh ya face! Yeah, the Pluto one was good, admittedly, and Penguin was great. I almost felt bad for him because nobody was taking his big umbrella scheme seriously. Yes, that was pretty hardcore for this otherwise very lighthearted show. Still nothing compared to Batgirl's death though. Oh really? I think I'll have to watch this ep one more time too! Who is Oyu? I think this was quite below average. An average BTBATB episode is better than this. But yes, even though pretty much anyone sounds funny on helium, that bit was extra sweet. Yeah, I guess so. It may have been a bit over-dramatic, but at least it was realistic. Not "Hey guyz! I'm Nightwing now! Thanks for that neat name, Bats! LOL!" Perhaps this ending was meant to be ironic? I don't know. Always one step ahead of me, I see. Well, I'll try to keep an open mind then. What are you talking about? Mallah was there in TT too. And villains with robotic arms with weapons are a dime a dozen. What separates the Brain from other villains is, well, his brain power. I haven't seen much of that from this Brain yet, whereas the one in TT almost took out all the titans simply with strategic superiority, plus his dalek-style way of talking was really cool. But then again, the BTBATB Brain only had a small appearance, so I can't really judge him yet. We'll see. By the way, I never expressed my love for the Musik Meister episode. Even though it was rather weird and I'm not sure if I would want another episode like that, it was great! All the music was composed rather nicely. Dr. Horrible FTW! So, how about that Wayne Manor WIP topic? To the Okymobile!

    Gotham Bank

Ah! Finally! Thanks for adding the robbery so quickly, Batbrick. Some very nice pics. I agree that if you can get the necessary bricks together, you should add another floor, at least a small one, with gargoyles and such. I think the gargoyles should be more scary (Gothic) than cute, though. Try using the horse headgear or the fenris wolf head, if you have enough of them in the right color. Also, I remember that TLG used a very simple yet effective brick-built gargoyle design on 6090 (look at the sides of the big tower). By the way, what is modular about this building? I don't see any technic holes or anything. Perhaps that's something you still need to work on. Looking forward to 2.0 and Wayne Manor!
  24. Yes, but the sets are all based on the movie, not the games.
  25. Hm, too bad the cover doesn't show what kinds of pieces will be included in the set book. But knowing the other brickmaster books, I'm not holding my breath for anything out of the ordinary. I already have two Fistos, so I'm not very excited for him. Hopefully the second fig will be more exciting (if there even is any) but I doubt it. Uhm, I still don't see a tactical droid, only words, and those don't come from TLC, so how is this confirming anything. This has been discussed a while ago by the way.
