I got the game today! Can't wait to play it, but I will have to as I still have some finals to finish. Anyway, I also got email from S@H advertising the game, and it revealed a cheat code for unlocking the Geonosian Starfighter. It's "edenec".

Yes, very nice as usual. Maxi will have to be my favorite. Can't beat the awesomeness of the ancient Greek attire. And your nephew's creation sure aint bad either. My only criticism would be that the blond henchwoman looks too much like Black Canary. Looking at the reference pic, she doesn't really have such voluminous hair, so maybe the CMF Cheerleader/Lifeguard hair or Juno Eclipse's tan ponytail would suit her better. What? No inspiration? What about all the ideas we've been pitching? Are none of them to your liking? From Brave & the Bold to Batman Beyond to Under the Red Hood, there are still so many characters you could recreate! Please don't stop now! Unless you'd like to tackle another DC show such as Justice League, Teen Titans, or The Zeta Project?

There's a an interesting new video on the site that shows how prototype parts are made! Also, on the frontpage of Lego.com, there's an animation of Lightning and Mater being put together.

So many great banners to choose from! But I think I'll have to go for LuxorV's Banner 3. It's nice and colorful, but not overly so. It features two of my favorite Jedi, and the text is big and legible. It really represents the Lego SW AFOL community well since it is divided into two sides: PT/CW and OT. And it has an explosion. Who doesn't like those?

I see. Yes, most likely. And if they continue this idea of villain themes, the others will probably be Poggle the Lesser, Wat Tambor, Nuvo Vindi, Lok Durd, and Zillo Beast, but somehow I doubt that.

You mean have any levels based on the Battle of Christophsis before the "Dooku" levels? That would really make sense IMO since that story takes place in between AotC and Gungan General, and they want to start the game off with the Battle of Geonosis. I guess the makers of the game care more about bundling episodes together under a certain villain's theme than keeping them in chronological order. And I don't think Cat and Mouse is included in this game, however Hidden Enemy seems to be part of it. I'm guessing there will be one level for Hidden Enemy and two for the movie. Shouldn't you know? You're the one who's been playing the game. Aren't you?

Nope. There were some keychains for the HP game which still go for reasonable prices, but they can't really be compared to this Cpt. Jack fig. And yes, I agree, the videogames are overpriced, even if you get a bonus minifig. On the other hand, if you intend to sell it at some point, it just might be worth it considering what exclusive licensed figs usually go for. But it's also possible that these figs might be distributed elsewhere some day. As usual, it's a gamble.

So there's no level for L@PR? That's too bad, but I guess they figured one Battle for Geonosis is enough. And no, one can never have enough epic ground battles! By the way, why don't you deeplink your videos? It's kind of a weird jump, but it makes sense since the pirates arc was the first after Attack of the Clones that featured Dooku as the main villain, except the TCW movie maybe.

I agree with distortme; I'd go for the Death Star Playset. It has: - All the main characters of the OT and more. - Lots of iconic scenes from the OT - Tons of playability - a nice variety of parts in case you want to take it apart and it is relatively easy to display. The only downside of it is the fact that it doesn't really look like the Death Star due to the lack of a hull, so people wont instantly recognize it from afar, but who would want to conceal those beautifully detailed scenes anyway?

I don't know, this looks kinda too random for me. Sure, Ninjago is a very random theme, but not this random. I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be. A vehicle with dragon features? A dragon with a vehicle base? Some backstory would be useful. And I agree with CopMike that it would make it much easier for us to judge this creation with a video. You still have five weeks to make one, so hopefully you will get around to it. Good luck!

Are you asking for spoilers? Since no one has seen the movie yet and Disney is being very secretive about the plot, nobody can tell. You'll have to wait to see the movie. And like Cpt. Time to get back on topic: If you pre-order the videogame at GameStop, you get this neat wooden-looking Jack Sparrow minifig! I'm guessing this is what the printed trophy in the QAR set is supposed to represent.

Dang. I was hoping to get a couple of those Skelicopters, but if they're a TRU exclusive, they will be A) overpriced, and B) sold out before I even find them. Do you remember how much they cost?

I recently noticed again how many SW vehicles and droids resemble certain animals or insects and I was thinking... Maybe we could have a contest where you have to build a vehicle that looks like a particular kind of animal/insect? Like a Fox-starfighter, a Bear-walker, or a Turtle-sub? Just an idea.

It seems you're right. All that's left now is a couple of last year's sets and a bunch of clocks/watches. Way to get our hopes up. If there's anything useful left by the time the sale starts, it would probably be a good idea to order right after midnight.

Hm, I guess you're right (as you always are ). I must have confused it with the Turbo Tank. Still, it's considered a CW set and should be in the game IMO. It was one of the best vehicles in SWBF2 and surely would be lots of fun to drive in this game too. Exactly.

If it's "flat out cool" to them, why are they disappointed? Back on topic: They really seem to emphasize Ahsoka's dark side this season, and then that hint at the end of the last commentary... I believe her end might be coming soon. Maybe even in the season finale? Like Mr. Filoni says, we'll have to wait and see. Right now, I'm not terribly excited for the finale. Maybe it's because this season has been such a letdown, or maybe it's because I don't know yet what the heck it's about. All I got from the previews is that Chewbacca will be in it, which is not that big of a deal for me.

This is a LEGO commercial I made as part of my Portfolio Development class using only motion graphics in Adobe After Effects. I made most of the elements myself, except the brick-built logo which I found on Brickshelf, and the UFO which is from the Lego Indiana Jones videogame. Enjoy! C&C welcome.
