Yeah, this game seems to combine things that were good about previous games, such as the memory-locks from HP and the weapon-throw of Batman, and add cool things to it, such as the special moves, epic battles, and scene-swaps. Really? I think it will rather be another example of the scene-swap feature where you play as Anakin and Luminara in one scene and with Ahsoka and Barriss in the other since those things happened pretty much simultaneously. In that image you can also see a cable hanging through the top of the Super-Duper Tank. I hope this wont be a regular thing in this game, especially after all these delays.

Just played through the demo on PS3. It was the same one I played in the store. Pretty good stuff. I like the special Jedi moves and can't wait to see more. The space battle was a bit tedious, mostly due to the fact that the ship flipped around everytime it hit something, and it took a while to exit the ship, locate the switch, and return to the ship. And is it just me or did it get harder to switch between characters? Anyhoo, bring on March!

Yeah, they had a demo in a best buys in Washington DC too. I didn't have much time to try it, but I liked what I saw. The graphics (on PS3) are great, and the gameplay feels more fluent. Still waiting on those images, Sologuy. Oh, and the emperor will be in the game too. Codeword "DARKSIDE".

First on-topic reply: Sweet! Thanks for the pic! The alarm clocks have been known for a while, but I guess this confirms that the clocks are coming to the US too! And it looks like Buzz's wings are detachable, just like the minifig! Interesting to know that there will be watches as well, ones with and ones without a minfig. Even though I'm a LTS collector, I think I'll pass on these. Gotta stop somewhere.

The mountain shrine is looking great, but with only a few pieces more than Skull Motorbike, I don't really see what justifies the extra five bucks. It's probably the spinner though. Same goes for the other sets. I could have accepted $30 for the Earth Dragon, but $35 is pushing it. For that price, I hope it comes with Frakjaw's hat like on the display.

Maybe it would have been more clear if the chrome fig had a clone head, and maybe the body of the chrome stormtrooper instead. I guess you could say that's part of the joke. Then why didn't you just wait until it arrives to take the shot? An alternate caption for this could have been "But we're not sinking, we're crashing!" Quite frankly, I'm surprised you didn't think of that after seeing that speederbike one. She's talking to Mace about color? Yikes, that's a bit risky, don't you think? And if I were her, I'd be more worried about all that (Geonosian?) dust all over her.

Sweet! Thanks for the pics! Wow, Ultimate Mater looks great! All those brown and light-blue pieces! Definitely getting him. I'll also get the small $15 sets, just for the parts and characters. Flo's V8 Cafe is looking better than ever, so that's a must-buy too, even if $60 seems a little steep. It looks like if you park a car right in front of the cafe and hit the roof, the car gets launched. And despite the <insert that tiresome argument> plane, I really like the spy jet set too. Those cars are just adorable! Maybe if it goes on sale... The grand prix is absolute rubbish however. I was really hoping we'd get an actual race track, or at least part of it. This is just a big heap of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces with characters that you can already get in the cheapest sets, with the exception of one. Overall, this theme is turning out great though! Who woulda thought a theme without any minifigs could be this good? No, I agree. The 2x4 tiles stick out too much, and his overall shape could have been more accurate, but I guess that's what happens when you make molds with the motto "One shape fits all". Really? Those have been around since 2003. And I don't think the pieces are all that <insert that tiresome argument>. I hope we get Ramone and Doc Hudson at some point too, maybe with the Ultimate Mater and Francesco. Some sets based off of the "Cars-Toons" would be neat too.

If you have been following this thread you'll know that JD and I have conversations via PM, and one time, he told me he was a James Bond fan, and when I pointed out to him that his name is very similar to Double-O-Seven's, he was more than delighted. However, lately our conversations have been rather slow because JD takes FOREVER to respond, so here is my response to that: James Hands: "Do you expect me talk?"
