Why not? There have been rare minifigs in advent calendars before, and they make "one-off" promotional figs all the time, so why not put one in the calendar? And it would be hard to use this torso for a normal Santa because of the green neck. It might get covered up by the beard, but it would still be odd. If we were talking about a completely new mold, that would be a different story... I've always known that. At least ever since I have known KimT.

Thanks for the new advent calendar pic. Looks pretty neat to me. I don't get all the complains either. Sure, it's nothing too exciting, but when has an advent calendar ever been? I'm pretty happy with the minifig selection as I don't have about half of them and am not interested in the sets that they come in. And considering the amount of pieces used, I think the mini models are pretty accurate. I find the weapon racks redundant, but I hope the people who complained about there not being any minifig-scale models in this set are happy now. What is that brown thing next to Gunray? Is that the walking holoprojector that he talks to Sidious on? Looks kinda odd, especially with no hologram on it.

The banner is a bit girly, but what else could we expect from Hinckley. It's by far not as bad as the Hello Kitty theme though, that's for sure! The green is very nice and I'm glad to see a Toy Story character join the banner. Bring on spring!

Wow, what a great entry! I love the irony behind it! This really proves that the Atlantis crew is only interested in profit, not archeology or oceanography! From the detailed, thematically fitting exterior right down to the individually themed interiors, this is very well done. I especially like the use of the keys as dining tables. Good job Sir, I'm sure you'll do well with this one! EDIT: By the way, you posted too many pics. You might wanna fix that. I'd leave out the last three images and insert birds-eye views of each floor instead.

Quite a few "Leviathan" entries out there, eh? This is one fine looking entry! The sub looks very well designed, especially with all those play features, and the Colossus is great as well. I like the concept of keys powering the monster and the divers having to retrieve them. It has a certain videogame feel to it. Bur yeah, you posted way too many pics. I'm not even sure if that animated one is legal. I'd like to see close ups of the sub's interior, so, uhm, what gallery are supposed to check out?

Shouldn't it be "Attack on the Dojo" or something? Yes, this is indeed a very beautiful entry, and unlike other NinjaGo entries, it really has the NinjaGo look. It looks well designed which is perfect for a D2C set, and while the modular sections isn't something TLG is currently doing in D2C sets, I could definitely see them doing it in the future. The only problem with your entry is the box art picture which is not allowed, and you have one too many pictures since one of them includes two pictures. Remove one pic and remove the box art from the first, and you'll be good to go. Great job!

It's definitely the Spartan for me, although the Elf is pretty neat too. I just love his colors, and he's a better army builder than the elf because you just have to change his head to get variety whereas it looks odd to have an army of blond elves in my opinion. Maybe it's also because I don't like the LOTR movies very much.

Cool, thanks for the pics. I think they're the first we've seen of this set. The Lighting Dragon looks pretty good - lots of nice pearl gold and light and dark blue bits - but it also look expensive. It looks even bigger than the earth dragon, and together with a helicopter and a third minifig, I bet it will be at least $50.
