  1. Yeah, nice work, George! Keep it up! Anakin is many things, but I didn't know rapist was one of them.
  2. Ah, so this is what you've been making instead of whack entries. Looks pretty good, but I'm a bit confused. Is the outpost made out of rock or metal or both? Why is that tree burning? Why is this cargo so important? What's the Death Watch's business with the CIS? Some backstory would be nice. Other than that it's a nicely detailed MOC. Much better than your usual baseplate creations anyway.
  3. I see, thanks. So, if I want to exchange my Sectumsempra for a pet, I go back to being a magus, right? If so, do I loose only 5 wins or do I loose all wins that I have had since I became magus? And don't worry, I intend to keep both of my eyes, unless someone pokes them out with a wand or basilisk fang.
  4. Like CeroKnight said, on S@H.
  5. I don't know, this kinda looks more like this guy to me: The head needs some work, and you're violating a few too many CubeDude rules, I think.
  6. I noticed that the box art pic is composed of the other pics, so why don't you bring those pics back into photoshop, remove the text boxes, and paste them all together so that you get an image similar to the box art pic, but with a plain tan background instead of the desert photo? That should be fine. Perhaps, but of course you would have to modify the engine to be steam-powered.
  7. I was wondering that too.

Very good. Looks very accurate, although all the studs and the blocky dome make it look a bit rough. Nice work. Have you played LSW3:TCW? It's very good for frying hordes of battle droids, or anything for that matter! And I believe they used the same building technique for the reflector dish as you did.
  9. I'd say keep the old thread. As you said, this thread is mostly comprised of repostings from the other thread, and the title of the old thread was better too IMO.
  10. Congratulations, my blue-coated sidekick! You have done well and deserve it!
  11. This is a nice-looking and funny scene, but I'm afraid it doesn't look like a set at all. It has barely any play features and SNOT bases are very unusual for TLC as KDM said. Also, non-licensed sets are hardly ever centered on a single scenario such as a lunch break, and the whole thing is much too small for a D2C set. That's my honest opinion anyway. Good MOC though.
  12. You don't need to withdraw the entry; just post a version of the first pic without the background and you should be fine. Hey, I only added the theme's logo in one corner. According to Bonaparte, that's allowed. And there's nothing "steampunkish" about the biplane. Airplanes like that really existed and were not steam-powered. But then it wouldn't have been a $10 set... What do you mean?
  13. Yeti's Quest FTW! Seriously, this could work, and we could use a new yeti.
  14. It's right here, only 1 1/2 pages ago.
  15. Way to ignore the No-Box-Art rule. This looks rather nice, especially the airplane, but the temple is a bit underwhelming, especially for a D2C set. This looks more like a regular $50 dolar set. Perhaps you could expand on it with some statues and booby traps.
  16. Very cool, very creative. Certainly didn't see that coming. But it's kinda lame that it doesn't have an interior. I mean, who would pay like 250 bucks for a giant fortress if you can't play inside of it? Would be cool if the mouth of the demonic skull at the front would open up to reveal the entrance. Also, the whole thing look a little plain, especially the base. I'd put some vegetation or rocks or bones or something on those plates. And the fortress needs some purple if you have any. And I have to agree with KDM that this doesn't seem like a set. It's too big and has too few play features as I already said. I like your upgraded ice dragon though. Any more pics of him?
  17. Yes, this is very good. I was thinking of making a museum as well. I really like the desk and sarcophagus. Some very good techniques in there, although I would have left the middle drawer out so that a person sitting a the desk could put his feet under it. The two tiles on top of the sarcophagus look a bit out of place too. It feels a bit bare for a museum, so perhaps you could add a second floor with even more exhibits? I also second the idea of adding a roof. Just look at all the official modular building; they all have a second floor and roof, and quite detailed ones at that. And shouldn't the truck be dark red, not dark green? Good luck!
  18. Yes, this is a well-known issue. There have been several threads about it already. The set certainly has its flaws, but it's really not that bad if you don't compare it to the ISD, and at $75, I wouldn't complain.
  19. Hehe, indeed. "Impressed Yet?" General Grievous' attempt to become more imposing by splitting his arms into more and more lightsaber-wielding limbs started to loose its effect after a while. This next one is an idea JimButcher came up with and asked me execute for him:
  20. Can this even be considered a Lego MOC? It seems to me as if most of it is Megabloks. And it's indeed a bit colorful, but it's OK if this is really all you had. It's a neat walker, but I don't understand what that blue thing in the back is supposed to be.
  21. "These Britons are crazy." Okay, back on topic.
  22. Thanks, guys. Looks like the stormie is stealing the show from Darth Gorilla. No, I have never seen that shirt before. That one reminds me of a SW parody I had seen... Not sure which one it was. It had the exact same line. Anyone know which one I'm talking about? And "spelled" is spelled "spelled".
  23. Nice, JD. I'm surprised no one has done that before (although it does remind me of this). @ legojazzbricks: I'd appreciate it if you could add some punctuation and capitalization to your funnies. Otherwise, nice work. Here's another joke about CW hair: And here's one about the new goggle-wearing figs: This one is a bit late, but oh well: On the Death Star, a favorite April Fools prank was it to switch Lord Vader's helmet for a humorous one. Of course everyone who was involved in the prank was immediately force-choked once he found out, but it was worth it.
  24. How did I miss this? This sounds great! It also explains the recent increase in activity in the Dueling Club. So, when LotWW start? Will there be a separate dueling thread for it? I think I'll stick to my current powers and keep striving for Grand Sorcerer! Do any successful duels we've had since we became Auror/Death Eater count toward our duel count for the next rank or will we have to win 6 new duels regardless? Since having a pet tiger would probably be cheating, I guess I'll go with a regular cat. Some very cool new powers too... Looking forward to this!
  25. Already done. Though there's nothing wrong with having your own take on it. Agreed! But that would be a pretty ambitious project. As long as the video doesn't contain preliminary Lego set designs, you should be fine.
