Thanks, guys! I'm glad you like it as I spent quite some time on this one. There are many ways of doing this. I used Photoshop to create the images and then imported them to After Effects to create the animated gif image. You can find many tutorials for this with a quick google search. Hehe, good. Although I gotta admit that I'm not a huge fan of Anime myself, though I do respect it and watch some of the better ones from time to time. In fact, some of my favorite cartoons are anime-inspired (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender, etc.). Sorry. Maybe I should put up a warning? Pointless? POINTLESS? Don't the podrace and Darth Maul mean anything to you? Those scenes along with the Battles of Naboo and Geonosis would be worth the ticket alone IMO, if they're done well that is. The 3D Podrace is also one of the main reasons why I'm excited for Star Tours II. Speaking of which, the opening dates have been confirmed to be May 20th for Florida and June 3rd for California. Can't wait!

That may be true for the OT, but the PT could actually turn out pretty good since they're mostly CGI and can just be re-rendered in 3D. At least that's what I hope they're doing. Otherwise it would really just be lame like you said.

What the... Is that final? The back of the jet looks horrible! Aside from the tail and the ramp, it's practically non-existent! It's as if they just cheaped out on producing a proper hull piece and didn't even bother to cover up the gap with existing parts. I hope that's not the case, but after all the hi-res pics without watermarks, I'm not too hopeful. That would be my guess. Those designers never get tired of teasing us with their limitless supply of bricks, do they? I wonder who had to clean up after that guy. He dropped like half of his bricks. "Who"? As for the missing characters, most of the ones you mentioned wont be in the second movie and are therefore probably not important enough to be produced, but there are still sets we haven't seen pics of, so there's still hope. And what makes you say there will be a 2012 wave? Toy Story lasted only one year, so why would Cars be any different?

King's Tower Defense Theme: Fantasy Era Castle Minifig: Elf The good King and his brave Crown Knights have finally defeated Mallock the Dark Wizard and put him behind bars where he waited for his execution. However, their joy didn't last long, for soon thereafter, Mallock's entire evil army of the undead, with the help of the trolls, besieged the King's castle. They seemed to stop at nothing to free their dark master. And even though the king and his knights fought bravely, they were hopelessly outnumbered by the skeletons, so they called their neighbors and good friends, the dwarves and elves, for help, who swiftly rushed to their aid. And so, an epic battle between all fantasy factions ensued! On the ground floor, skeletons and trolls are climbing to the first battlement using a ladder and some vines, whereas some others have broken through the wall and are entering the tower from below. Inside, however, they are greeted with the painful hit of a defensive maiden's broom. One skeleton has managed to break into a window on the first floor, but a brave knight is fighting it off. Meanwhile, on the first battlement, the king, his royal guard, and a dwarf are being attacked by trolls and skeletons from all sides. Unbeknown to them, the cowardly jester has sealed the door behind them in order to keep the invaders out, completely forgetting that his king is still out there. On the second battlement, an elf and the king's archers rain arrows down upon the enemy. On top of the tower, the Good Wizard is using his awesome powers to fend off those skeletons attacking from above on their fiery winged demon-horses. He is so busy that he doesn't see that his poor owl is trapped inside the burning tower which had been hit by enemy fire moments ago. In the dungeon below the raging battle, a knight is making sure that the evil Mallock stays imprisoned. Please check out this brickshelf folder for a lot more views and close-ups! And don't worry, I made sure that none of the overhang exceeds the two-stud limit.
