  1. anyone can help me find out how fast a spike/powered up hub's gyro can spin? i asked lego service We're sorry for not replying sooner. According to our relevant team, we're unable to provide the technical specifications you requested because it's not sharable information. However, we love to share some useful information for your LEGO creations. Please go to the following link and download PDF file of Large Hub: https://education.lego.com/en-us/product-resources/spike-prime/downloads/technical-specifications Also, there are a lot of blogs and forums discussing the technical specification and their insight. The following link is one of it. I wish you like it. https://thecodingfun.com/2021/03/22/lego-spike-prime-explanation-of-accelerometer-data-and-line-graph-analysis/ Hope this helps! if anyone has info on the speed of the gyro in spike/robot inventor and powered up thanks!
  2. I currently only know that they gyro of EV3 is 440 degrees a second and im planning to make a meltybrain bot (basically a tank drive bot that turns off and on respective motors to "drift" around) does anyone know how fast the gyro of SPIKE essential, SPIKE prime/robot inventor and Powered up hub is thank you
  3. A friend by the name of LowlyfeBricks has gotten this set info on it below I won this Promo as a giveaway for a contest at the lego store i work for in colorado. There was a giant box of random lego stuff and this was all the way at the bottom. As soon as i saw there wasnt a set# or a UPC i instantly decided thats what i wanted! I asked my manager where she got it and she said a few years back at a manager convention in NYC during a NYC flagship store opening. Upon doing some digging the only thing i can find is a brick specialist promo that was used for a ton of different stores. It was a manager convention however so what was given to them may have been completely different form the promo offered to the first 100 shoppers. Box hasnt been opened and you can see everything still packaged up in its plastic. I find it strange i cant find any info on it anywhere not bricklink, or forums, reddit or instagram collectors have been able to help
  4. thanks! time to make my rc car a tracked vehicle :D
  5. also does anyone have a triangle track section that goes onto 3 pin hubs for the ev3 tracks? form set 31313 36 length one piece tracks
  6. woah thats great thanks! my absolutely tiny drift car might not be able to fit but this is great thanks! the tiny drift car can be around 7x 23(frame only without wheels) (actually used to be shorter but i wanted it to be faster than 1:1 pf l motor https://streamable.com/8f2t7u thats my own drift car its so tiny that i had to widen the wheelbase by like 3 studs if not it just flips when cornering, with lower gearing it works fine edit: just curious are there any models that use the universal joints instead of the ones that are used in the model i only have those unfortunately also im very low on half beams
  7. do you have any steering with drive setups? thanks for the wheels!
  8. does anyone have some VERY small drive and steering setups suspension not needed im planning on making a tiny rc car so far i have made one of the smallest if not the smallest fully rc drift car out of lego :D im thinking of making it AWD and maybe driven by buwizz motors if you have a compact steering+drive setup which can use PF servo motors and large motors thanks! also, does anyone have any suggestions for wheels to use when drifting? currently im using the large wheel rims from the ev3 set and on the rims i have 2 rubber gasket type tires for the front, the rear im using rims of motorcycle wheels
  9. woah this is pretty sick! looks easily motorizable too love the suspension :D
  10. allight im done https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TacWT4Muqrw6SEfKowLQGRApWxRfByOJ/view?usp=sharing, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ae7EMRxVLutEYf2PNgU-K_Gw0IsDrboP/view?usp=sharing hope yall like it low effort but works decently
  11. Yooo thanks! ill share free instructions to mod it to rc :D lol I made it rc already and it is very part efficient thus few extra parts are needed ill post updates here when im done
  12. If anyone has could they send it to me I'm making some rc mod instructions using less than 11 parts but I'm lazy to make the actual model first sooo if anyone has it or can make ti greatly appreciated.
  13. i just created some Lego battlebots maybe im hosting a little competition in Singapore during December holidays so far i have made a literal tank of a battlebot (brick on the floor with rotating cylinder) and it works decently here is it going against a smaller bot https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3OTYyNzUxNzczNzYxNjg4?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= thats the fight of 3 rounds also the smaller one got completely demolished lol
  14. i think i found a bug when i scroll flashes of random colors go around the screen stuff gets misaligned etc as I scroll through the thing it moves around https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzQLHH
  15. im finally done with my tank moc! i hope you like it if possible like and share it on insta & facebook (links below) it comes with a detachable trailer and a 3DOF arm thanks @thealvacado for the arm I've improved the bracing of the 8 tooth to the 40 tooth gears as they were constantly popping out also changed positioning of some things there is a 4 pin connector on the end so that its much easier to change the attachment on the end I hope you like it :) spent quite a while making this https://www.instagram.com/p/CdnoQmspEut/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet https://www.facebook.com/544771685/posts/pfbid032Jr1QQfEXsTZbEqxBUDAR7LWMGfGzE9wpor93kkCivLbZfqt3ujtvHVqyUvEDkpzl/?d=n https://youtu.be/5j2kXYvjlAM https://youtube.com/shorts/PzlFRePGSP4?feature=share https://youtu.be/X7KmZLrbvlw https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzQeX3
  16. ah just curious how would i do it if I had 2 ev3 robots? (my project is one bottom tank base with 4 large motors and a top ev3 with a 3 DOF robot arm I might need a little help as I cant seem to figure out how to use the app I've gotten it to somehow work with my Chromebook and bad phone but I cant seem to figure out how the controls work and what the settings do if you could help thanks! by the way the thing I'm trying to do is make my robot work so right now what I want is for w to move the motors b and c and for s to move b and c in reverse and for q to move a and d forward and a to move them in reverse if you could teach me how tobocam works that would be highly appreciated thanks!
  17. i probably will use a raspberry pi also how could you control it? i see in your video you simply watch the stream and control the joysticks but I don't see any wires connected to the phone?
  18. just curious how did you sync the motors to some online controller? (I want to create a sort of minigame in my room using this system and my current moc)
  19. https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzMSjW i think im done with most of this gonna have to change the bracing and things thanks @alvacado for posting the instructions on rebrickable! and sariel for repling to my comments
  20. does anyone know the speed and torque of a medium and large motor?
