  1. Hello Gents and Ladies! Here is your chance to buy my collection of one of Lego's classic Space themes from 1994: Spyrius. All these sets are in great condition. No fading, as they have been kept in the closet all these years. All instruction manuals are included. This lot includes: #6835 Saucer Scout. Complete with instructions. #6889 Recon Robot (x2). Both complete with instructions. #6939 Saucer Centurion. Complete with instructions. #6949 Robo-Guardian. Missing one 2x2 brick to attach wheel (see picture below). Otherwise complete. Instructions included. I am asking $100 for everything. Feel free to make me a reasonable offer though! As for trades, I'm interested only in Pirates....classic or new (just no POTC). Ships are a big plus. Also....if there is interest, I have the complete Ice Planet 2002 series I may be willing to sell/trade for Pirates sets. Free shipping to US addresses. For international shipping, please PM me, and we can work out a price. All sets will be disassembled and bagged individually for shipping. Please message if you have any questions. Thank you. Now to the pictures.....
  2. Here's the most recent pic of me......I needed some extra cash, so I signed up for an experimental drug testing program........needless to say, the results weren't exactly what I expected.
  3. Finished up my Iron Man drawing that I previously posted.....didn't want to spend hours on it, so I didn't go that far into detail. And my newest project.......say hello to Master Chief. I've got all the basic shape and outining done......this is definitely the most intense drawing I've done to date. So far I've put a good 4 hours and into it have gone through 4 iterations. 3 of them were just getting the shape and proportions right. I'm finally happy with the symmetry, so now its time to harden the lines, finalize the small details, and then to my favorite part, shading In the future, be on the lookout for more Master Chief stuff......he's my favorite video game character, so I'll be doing some more pieces on him. If I get frustrated with my current drawing, I'll probably start another one, until I'm ready to return to the first one.
  4. Wow, I love the ingenuity!
  5. Samurai inspired Predator
  6. Its been a while since I've been on here, but I haven't stopped drawing! Recently, I've decided to challenge myself to try and draw animate objects instead of just cars, planes, etc. So for my first venture into this type of drawing, I decided to do something that is both animate and mechanical..... IRON MAN! Its still a work in progress, I will be darkening all of the lines, as well as add some minor details, and lastly, shade the whole drawing.
  7. Wow, its been a minute since I've been on here. In January, I finally found a job, so for the past 5 months, I've been working and going to school. This leaves me with very little free time, which I spend on other things......

But hopefully this summer, I will be able to start designing again!

  8. thanks guys
  9. Thank you! I'll be adding on to it as I go along. It kind of will....its the same Pirate crew.
  10. Sold a few more things. Also dropped some prices.....I really want to get rid of the Spyrius sets. I'll willing to let them go for cheap, and I'll do combo deals!

    The Chase

189D Well, I tore down Desolation island today. I didn't plan on building anything else, but one thing led to another, and I started on another MOC Here is a sneak peak.
  12. Good thing I am a pirate with morals! American and Dutch ships and people are never to be harmed, and any sailor that does is beaten or killed. The English and French are fair game though!
  13. another +1 for Tragic Banjo.....awesome service
  14. I'd have to say I'm a pretty good pilot.......seeing as the FAA approved my license. I'm also a fairly decent artist.
  15. But I'm an American of Dutch origin.....my great grandfather immigrated here in the 1920s. You wouldn't hurt a fellow countryman would you? In America, no one pronounces my last name right (its Hoogland). They all say "Who-gland" instead of "hoe-gland."
  16. Well, here it is guys. The final installment. The remaining pirates are celebrating after killing all of the islanders. Captain Corweena has arrived The remaining pirates explaining the course of events The Captain The spoils of war that he brought to store on the island. THE END Thanks for eveyones kind words, I really appreciate it. Its been really fun doing the whole comic thing. Now, on to my next MOC, be on the lookout soon!
  17. Thanks for the praise ahahaha. I'm glad you like it so much
  18. School has bee crazy this past week, preventing me from doing any work on the Achilles until today. Here is just a quick shot, I'm just finishing working out the shape of the aft end of the hull. And, I just picked up some books today from my school's library on American Frigates, Sailing Ships of War and a 2-volume set on Ships of the Line. Hopefully, with these, I can make my ship as accurate as possible.
  19. As a pilot, and aviation enthusiast, I'm impressed! I love the functionality the model has, with the tilting rotors, and even the collapsible rotor blades! And the fact that you made it all out of regular bricks is even more impressive. This is one of my favorite MOCs!
  20. Wow, this is quite an impressive ship! For just coming out of your dark ages, I'm amazed! Technically speaking, there was only one thing that stood out to me......that the ship has 4 masts. It just looks a little odd to me, because 4 masts make the deck look a little cramped in a ship of this size. In my opinion, it would look better if you kept the foremast in place, shifted the mainmast back about 8 studs or so (1/2 way between it and the 3rd mast), and then shifted the 3rd mast back a bit, while adding a mizzen sail (thus making it the mizzenmast). I think it would just look a bit more normal, since most ships had 2 or 3 masts. This is just my personal opinion, so don't take it too seriously! Otherwise, I think you have done a great job, and I love your attention to detail, especially with the full interior of the ship. I'll be waiting for more updates!
  21. I can't believe I totally forgot to comment on this I like how you incorporated both classic elements (white walls), and more modern elements (buildings, etc). I also really like your rock cliff face.
  22. I'm glad I provided some entertainment. I didn't plan on doing this at all.....I was just bored one night as I was working on it, and decided to make a comic out of it. I initially had the cannons one brick shorter, but they looked a little awkward in my opinion, and I wanted them to be long range guns, so that's my reasoning. Yep, the last installment should be done by tomorrow. I'm getting excited on my next build. I'm gonna be pushing myself harder...the result will be smaller, but of higher quality I hope.
  23. First off, did you unlock LDD extended mode? If not, do it here.... That should unlock quite a few more parts for you, if you haven't done it yet. Also, if you decide to purchase bricks to build the ship, it will most likely be cheaper to order them in bulk from Bricklink.
  24. I gotta agree with you Cam, the tiling is great. Just one thing, if its meant to mimic a cobblestone street, shouldn't there be no rhyme or reason to the design? As opposed to a pattern as shown? Just something that popped into my mind when I was looking at the pics. Nevertheless this is definitely an impressive MOC, and the builder has quite a good amount of skill. I especially like the amount and diversity of the minifigs in the scene.
  25. thanks! there is one more part coming up Then the island will be torn down for my next MOC (which is in the brainstorming phase right now)
