  1. You are confusing turning radius with turning angle. Small turning radius is when the wheels are angled a lot. When driving in straight line the radius is infinite ie. very big.
  2. Technically changing colour is trivial, but logistic costs must be also considered. Personally the colours are ok for me.
  3. Placed next to the Sian it looks like entry to TC25. ;) Anyway it looks ok, just the colour inconsistency issue... PS: funny typo in the Sariel's review summary: "the wheel is connected to a single rear wheel only".
  4. PU lacks coherent environment and proper documentation. This is what keeps me off it still, even if there is huge potential in the system. I think having position sensors is good. It is possible to actually control the speed, even at low power levels. In PF you just apply voltage and it is unknown what will happen at the other end. Having not compatible plugs are not really big concern for me, it is totally different after all. Not always it can be backwards friendly. Big miss for me is any kind of proper remote, the train remote is good start but something that can control 4 motors with some logic (uploaded to it after programming on smartphone/PC) would be welcome.
  5. This is insane! Hope you can find the missing sets.
  6. Looks nice. The only issue I see (and I have the same problem) is lack of clutch. The steering system can be easily damaged. Also changing form 16 to 8 tooth gear will make steering much "quicker" which will be worse. Can you show how did you mount the motor for steering?
  7. Nice. Looks like first Bobcat's machines. :)
  8. When I first saw the "18+" badge, I thought that people will misread it as something including pornography, violence and drug/alcohol related. Oh well... The "16+" was better, even better was "Expert builder" or "16-99" like on the ancient sets. ;) I second that. There are plenty of special printed tiles in the licensed sets, why not expand it?
  9. Same here. If they will not limit the quantities and make also third colour, it will be showing which version is the most popular. Sure, some will but all version just becaus they can, but many will just choose one. Or will they?
  10. It gives me much joy just to read stories like this.
  11. It is often better to make deliberately different colour rather than have slight shade difference. Still it looks bad with only one piece in black.
  12. This looks like a proper motocycle, the official model is just a brick next to it. I like it very much! :)
  13. 3: 10 8: 6 2: 4 5: 3 7: 2 1: 1 Just a few entries but it was not easy to choose the order.
  14. Bought the same type and they works perfectly.
  15. Every plastic shrinks when cooled. From my experience there can be measurable difference between the same resin with different colour. Making different moulds will mean that each colour will have the same final dimension - possible to do, but very tedious and only advantageous when mixing moving parts' colours.
  16. I was talking about the thin hinges shown by MP LEGO Technic creations.
  17. Different shrinkage for me, don't believe they created different sizes for different colours. Would be interesting to hear weather the other two halves make loose connection - they should.
  18. Same here. This set is discussed so long, it gets interesting what will finally be shown.
  19. Unless there clear reason I never use wet wipes first. Firs I dust with cloth (or vacuum cleaner if the layer is thick ;) ), then wet wipes. I use ready wet wipes but otherwise I will use water.
  20. Cute model, look fantastic.
  21. The small pneumatic cylinders tends to stick to the end position, at least that's what mine are doing. There is no easy fix for this. I lubricated them (Molykote 111, discussed on this forum) and it helped, but not fully.
  22. I know, but didn't want to confuse CoNSpiracy even further. Anyway R3 can be left alone, it's not in the light path.
  23. IIFRC those resistors are 47*10^2 = 4700 or 4.7k and 18*10^0 = 18 Ohm. This will be bridge rectifier. The schematic is on Philo site: PFlights
