  1. Won’t it just be lukes lightsabre or is it a geo just when you buy the barge?
  2. Has the price actually been confirmed yet though? Just think 45 is crazy considering the BP we got in January was 25. I know there’s an anniversary figure so I expect a small increase but not nearly double. I do want this set id even get two to get more fleet troopers but as it could be a Lego exclusive I doubt it’ll ever be on sale and if it is 45 then it’s too much to get more than one
  3. Anything that isn’t a diorama, helmet, UCS, MBS, buildable figure, midi scale ships. I’d say anything that would be considered a normal Lego set 10-20 years ago ie a ship with some figures, or a building and some figures. so this year the RTG sets, the dual on peridia, Saarlac pit, the 3 Mando S3 sets, the Darth maul ship, the boarding set, battle packs and the 4+ set that no one bought from January (I might have missed a set) but basically there the normal playsets
  4. All of everyone is saying is opinion. No facts really except for the fact that SW is one of the top selling themes. There is interest in all age groups but since Covid it’s obvious Lego is aiming more and more sets at an adult audience. From my experience a lot of my friends started collecting during the lockdowns and I’m sure they aren’t alone that’s the aim of the icons line and it’ll be a phase and eventually Lego wilL go back to mostly system sets. kids will always like SW but you don’t hear from them because they aren’t on social media they aren’t on this forum. There are different kinds of SW fans there are those who literally just watch the films and don’t bother with the animated stuff or comics or books and they are still fans as much as everyone else maybe what will hurt Star Wars in the long run is its recent reliance on cameos and fan service. Like showing Zeb in the Mando trailer only people who’ve watched rebels will know who he is others’ll think he some hairless wookiee. I admit it’s something which takes me out of the show, but it’s just Disney trying marvelify Star Wars
  5. If we got a battle pack for inferno squadron, having one with Purge troopers isn’t completely out of the question. Could easily have a commander and 3 troopers and that would keep everyone happy. im of the delusion that they could easily turn the games in to a disney+ series. Fallout and last of us have proven it’s possible to bring games to TV and if they could do that then they would have zero excuses not to do any sets
  6. All I can say is if it’s true more money saved for the 2 system scales we will get
  7. A TIE advanced would be my preference but there have been to many Darth Vaders recently I’m kind of over getting him in a set.
  8. Fair enough well if anyone wants to save some money in the U.K. then they know where to go Does anyone know when the battle pack gets released? And has a price been confirmed?
  9. Really? I’ve never noticed very strange obviously sets are expensive and aren’t really worth what they are at rrp. If they are going on sale so early maybe alarm bells should be ringing at Lego to maybe stop hiking prices up
  10. It’s about 10% on average but it’s not all of the August wave the sarlaac, duel on peridia and droid builder set are still at rrp. I know they go on small sales eventually after months they often go on the odd 10-20% off its just find it strange that 22 days after release they are already on sale. Don’t think it helps that the source material of those 4 sets hasn’t been actually released yet That is a good point smyths are very good at selling sets and they never seem to have sets that have been retired that they can’t get shot of, the local toy shop where I live still has the resistance pod, 1st order at st and buildable jyn, rey and Finn at rrp after like so many year of being on sale
  11. As I suspected some of the RTG and the skeleton crew sets are already on sale over in Smyths in the U.K. its a first for me I’ve never seen a set go on sale the same month it gets released. I’m going to hold Out to see how big a sale some retailers will do on these because i doubt many have bought them for rrp
  12. I checked on the other place for leaks and Gamescom wasn’t mentioned. Not that it really matters but why would Lego reveals sets at a video games conference? Anyways hopefully there some more details for January wave at least. If some sets are ready for January I’d say all of them are so we just got to see how long until stuff comes out. Sorry I keep asking but everytime I ask it seems to get lost in some debate that hasn’t got much to do with set speculation. But anyways when does the fleet trooper and stormie bp come out? And has a price been confirmed, as far as I can tell it’s only a guess that someone has plucked out of thin air and is the set a Lego exclusive and not a GWP?
  13. You say lack of interest the reality probably is all those sets are just too expensive Legos prices have just gone up to much and a lot of these sets kids would have got a lot of these as a main Christmas or birthday present but when inflation and cost of living is so high all of a sudden families can’t afford some of these Lego sets There are images for the Mario Kart and Animal Crossing sets coming in January so odds are in next few weeks we might start getting some more info about the winter wave and if we are lucky pictures.
  14. Could be anything atm but I’m wondering if we are getting a Jedi Starfighter, a 4+ Mando N1 and an ARC170, that’s quite a few fighters on the shelves already. I’d rather Lego throw in some more land based vehicles or location sets. with the Mandolorian and Grogu film and the Ashoka S2 and whatever Thrawn pops up in next there is going to be a lot of new republic/imperial remnant sets coming so I’d rather Lego make new versions of things from those shows when they come out rather than remakes now and instead focus on stuff that we haven’t had in a while (like the Arc170)
  15. I agree but never say never Lego been doing some weird stuff of late. They released a set for a show that hadn’t even had a trailer released officially yet. if there were plans for a set I feel like when they mixed the release dates of Andor, Acolyte and Skeleton crew might have thrown a spanner in the works
  16. You never know there is no SW series/films except for Andor next year so Lego has a whole year where if they wanted to release some normal sets on series that they’ve missed then that would be the time. (We all know they’ll release a hundred buildable droids/figures instead) we get Mando S3 sets over a year after release and the same for an Ahsoka set a year after release I know they are “spoiler” sets but could mean that the acolyte will come a year later and then would include Qimir as a figure. I didn’t watch any trailer so I don’t know if his helmet and reveal was a surprise or not
  17. I think commando imperials, and the Mandolorian from the BP are certain to appear, I also think the praetorian will come as well as a fleet trooper. Paz and moff Gideon as well as Kelleren beq have a good chance. outside chance I’d say the B2 droid, maybe jabba and the night trooper from the duel set. I’d be pleasantly surprised if the anniversary figures did come in the magazines and I don’t think they’d put the RTG figures in them
  18. Bring things back on topic a bit. has there been any more info about the fleet troopers vs Stormie bp? I know we’ve seen pics but we still don’t know what the price will be ($45 is only a theory and not been backed by anyone I can see) and is it a Lego exclusive/gwp given that it’s set number isn’t with the normal LSW sets. also when is it due to be released? Feel like this set is the opposite rumour wise we normally get all the details we are missing and then pictures.
  19. So we know at least for 2 of the last 4 months of the year we are getting figures for the magazines? That’s great, I don’t know have we ever had a year with so many figures? To my recollection we’ve only had one mini build this year. I wonder if sales plummet when there are no figures in the magazines? I already have Sabine, is it weird I want the 212th and I’m seeing it as getting a spare Sabine for £2 lol
  20. I know licensed themes have kind of kept lego going but I feel like they have too many now and it’s reflecting in the price rises which are just ridiculous. Surely there is going to be a point where there sales are going to go down to a point where they will lose money. I know Lego is aiming more and more at adults but not all adults have the amount of disposable income to actual buy and collect sets. Im waiting for the August wave to start going on sale, already picked up Junes at 30% off. Do feel if this keeps up they are going to price a lot of us afol out of collecting. on a different note had there been any actual confirmation on the price of the fleet vs stormie bp yet? Only one I’m seeing is £45 which was someone’s guess? It’s weird because we got pics for this sets before we got details like set number, piece count and price, I know the only thing we knew was that it had the droid and some troopers but we all guessed it was tantive extension
  21. I know we are going away from set discussion but does anyone actually like Star Wars here? 90% of posts are just “I don’t like this” “Disney does this” it gets really boring I’m not a die hard fan and there are issues but overall I’ve enjoyed most of SW stuff that has come out. But there is so much it’s impossible for it to cater to anyone I think we are lucky and privileged to be getting the amount of content we’ve been getting. im still not sure about why Mando and Grogu is a film rather than a Mando series 4. But I’m hoping that with a film budget it might be cool, also means hopefully 2026 we will get a whole film wave for the film which is definitely going to have Zeb and the AT-RT in. im not sure why people are surprised about people coming back for Andor S2, the series was always going to end at the start of rogue 1, so we always going to get how he met K2S0, more Saw, the only thing im surprised was Krennic but that’s probably more ISB related. it’d be nice to get a new U-wing if they did more Andor sets, I have a feeling season 2 might have more potential for Lego to do sets of.
  22. I mean I bought the shock trooper one but most of the other figures where ones I already had but for kids the magazines are great. the price rise isn’t the greatest, like for afol the 501st specialist it was cheaper to buy him off eBay or buy the bp rather than him in the magazine. I’ll probably get the TIE pilot I don’t have many of those. I wonder what else is to come for the rest of the year?
  23. That’s cool, which version is it? They aren’t going to be crazy and chuck the UCS one in there are they lol. We’ve actually been really lucky this year with the minifigure in the magazine am I right in thinking we’ve only had one month where it was a small build the rest was figures?
  24. One of the rumors I read was it could be a George Lucas figure, but then I saw something on Reddit saying that there wasn’t going to be one so could be anything at this stage. But for common sense if there was a figure it probably would be a character that is widely known by everyone instead of someone from like legends or a game.
  25. The trailer also showed AT-ATs with rebel logos on, it and like ewok bounty hunters its looks random but kids will probably love it
