The only way I’d get this Death Star set is if Lego do the win your wish list competition like they did this year and this was the only thing on it andI won it or if I won the lotto/euromillions.

Just excessive, Grogu and pram, chopper, Ewok, K2S0 in one year as well as R2, Chewbacca and C3P0 on the shelves still from previous years I know they might have retired from Lego but most other retailers will still have them in stock for ages they are always on sale. I’d be curious to see the numbers on sales of these sets. Somehow the buildable figures must be outselling smaller sets and making them more profit I can’t see how else they keep making them

I think it’s based on Death Star II so I’m doubting that it’s going to have an interior at all tbh. the guy who hinted at it was referring to Ep 6 we all thought was Endor rather than a Death Star. If it was going to be a remake of the Death Star with minfigures I think the hints would have been more Death Star focused rather than Endor focused. got like 10 months until we find out so time will tell If it is a separatist one I do hope for some droids that aren’t just B1s be great to have a tactical droid or droideka. Chances are there will be a clone and a Jedi for it to go up against (as these sets 90% time have someone from another faction to go up against) we can start betting on who that would be because I don’t have a scooby who they’d choose

Whoever is buying these buildable figures needs to stop lol. Where have all the SW sets that are a reasonable price for kids gone?

Love the MTT news just hope it comes with some separatist forces that aren’t B1s like a tactical droid, droidekas, or a separatist leader. the teasing about an Endor set hopefully wasn’t for a Death Star II if it was that’s disappointing but hopefully the 18+ summer set is the Endor set. Whether that is a remake of the bunker or a scaled down ewok village I’m curious to know

It’s kind of what I was eluding to if there is a rumour of a P1 pilot wouldn’t be to unreasonable to have a P1 commander but aren’t the P1clones all more similar and don’t have unique marks based on what legion their in. yeah I’d love if Lego gave us another 501st set with Appo in to truly troll with us even if it was an order 66 set. Tbh I just hope we have a few more waves with the current P2 to get a few more legions/units or vehicles we haven’t had in a while

He definitely used plurals on the commanders? If so that’s mad. im surprised more people haven’t been going wild with speculation on here about that (or have I missed that?) Although I hope they are P2 commanders from different units and different sets and not just a random P1 commander that’s going to end up in something like a P1 battle pack. You never know could be another 501st BP set with their commander in (I forgot his name)

Is that confirmed we are getting multiple Jedi and commanders or is that speculation? don’t forget about V-wings haven’t had one of those in a while you never know lego could be brave and give us a TBB set

Anniversaries have only been a recent thing we are at point where every year is an anniversary this year was 25 years of both LSW and of TPM the last anniversary was maybe a 20th anniversary of TCW set (if I remember right) and before that was the 20th anniversary wave and the 40th anniversary for ESB. I really don’t think they are going to become a regular thing.

Just seen more pics of the Arc170 and it does remind me of one thing I don’t like about the downsizing is all the pilots are essentially lying down to fit in the smaller cockpits it does look silly. Apart from that it’s all good. The CG gunship was the first one I bought and I don’t see myself getting a replacement for a while

I personally like the downscaling. But I would argue the 2022 Tank wasn’t a downscale. The one before it was tiny. Gunship gets far too much hate. The only thing wrong with the recent sets is the inflationary prices

That’s what I mean I’ve never watched it to me they are all the same I know the commanders always stood out but pilots are all the same why do different prints if the changes in the 3 aren’t like so substantial. Lego could have easily just put 3 plain pilots in instead of two named ones and I dont think it would have made a difference. I still want the set just not at rrp but more of a 20%-30% sale on Amazon come Easter/summer time kind of want

Sorry wasn’t meant in a bashful way just how us Brits banter. I call my wife deluded for liking Hawaiian Pizza and she calls me worse things for liking Lego. honestly though I just don’t like these logo sets maybe they should have their own subtheme rather than wasting slots in SW theme which could go to a different set which could appeal to more audiences.

It just looks tacky. Someone on Reddit described it perfectly the kind of set that you will see on a podcast and that it. The figures aren’t great they aren’t a selling point for a set like that but they have the feature of them popping out so they could have made them a bit more exclusive. I wonder about the mental state of a person who would buy it and the SW one. The ARC170 looks good I’m not hating with this but I’ve never watched clone wars so to me the pilots look all the same but I’ll probably wait for may the 4th to get them depending on the promo

I know you can army build with them but I do think people are that stupid that someone will eventually complain it happens with every battle pack and then there will be a 4 page debate between those who buy 100 sets and have them all stood on baseplates and those who just buy one I’m on the fence I’m probs one of the few who are not really keen on the nighttroopers I’ll wait for pictures. I was hoping they would do a bigger imp drop ship as a set. I guess that saving that for the Mando film or Thrawn film There are enough gimmicks just want normal sets, I know not related but I hope that the LOTR thing is a one off and there are other smaller sets as LOTR needs it

There are so many figures that can be argued need a Lego form and even some that need a new version but at the same time I think a lot of people need to be realistic with some of these characters. This coming year seeing as Andor is the only new SW media coming there is an opportunity to catch up on things that might have been missed. I hope they use it to give us some more Disney plus shows sets. I have a feeling we will probably get some AOTC sets and ROTJ Endor based sets. As last year there was TPM focused sets and we’ve got the UCS Jango slave 1 coming so would make sense to do some sort of tie in. Endor is rumoured to be next years big UCS/MBS so we could get a few tie in sets with that as well. it’s impossible to please everyone though I don’t know how Lego go about it but I do envy them SW is so big now how can you balance covering old stuff for new fans, new content for everyone and stuff that’s been missed but they could help themselves by calming down on the dioramas (they are just system sets with 50% markup), the helmets and the buildable figures. i miss the days of multiple microfighterrs and 4/5 battle packs a year and just plain system sets, we’ve got 3 buildable characters in 2025 one is enough.

The marvel logo set makes my eyes bleed, the only way I can describe it would probably be using words that aren’t allowed here. Star Wars one is just going to be just as bad and Star Wars one isn’t even rumoured to have figures (if I remember right). wonder why we haven’t had the 170 images yet? also when does the 2025 thread open up?

I can’t find the post if it was here or on Reddit but someone speculated the other Andor set could be a buildable K2S0 and now it is haunting my dreams Lego love their buildable things atm even though by summer we will still have C3P0, R2, Grogu and an Ewok. i do hope the 2nd Andor set is imperial orientated seeing as its releasing later in the year I’m going to take an educated guess that it is a “spoiler” set ie something from the finale or later in the show. Re the battle packs should be up to the individual but I’d say vast majority given the prices of LSW sets and the competition with other themes (ninjago, marvel) kids will only get one maybe two. Only us afol might get more I normally pick up a few depending on who is in the pack like the last summers one with the imperial commandos and Mandolorian ive picked up 3 and planning on getting a 4th as it’s fairly cheap in some shops in the U.K. atm. For me that’s because I quite like the figures included. for me a battle pack should have variety be it trooper type, mixture of factions or even a named character.

Forgive the ignorance but with ARC170 is there any actual difference in the appearance of the clone pilots? Do they have different helmet designs or they just the same?

I’ve always been sceptical about Plos starfighter just because I’m not sure when Yodas and Obi Wans Jedi fighters are retiring but we currently have 3 Jedi star fighters on the shelf. Ashoka’s is coming January so that would be 4 in 2-3 years and having 3 republic ships on the shelf at the same time seems a bit overkill. Jedi fighters are iconic but Jedi can appear in other sets, the separatist AAT a few years ago is a good example of getting a Jedi in another kind of set. Ngl we need more separatist sets how many years since we had a vulture droid? 4 years since the AAT set, god only knows how long since the MTT. How many years since a set had a separatist figure that wasn’t a B1, B2 or droideka. Is Lego scared they won’t sell well? Put a random clone with them and they’ll sell

The interceptor looks great. Definitely new design across the board not just the cockpit. The missiles are at the back now and look like they can be taken off without effecting the design, looks like a few new pieces on each wing. Not sure how much it’ll be GBP yet? Has it been confirmed dollar and euro prices don’t always mean it’ll be the same in pounds it’s odd Lego price it randomly. I know it’s a 4+ set but really that Mando set should be cheaper for what it is. Kind of want the R5 figure though Do hope we get the ARC images soon, we are getting images for March sets on Reddit what sets are we rumoured to get for March? Or is it just January and May/June wave for the 1HY?

Unrelated I know, does anyone know when Lego announce what Black Friday sales they are doing?

I see 2025 as a catch up year for the theme. If Skeleton Crew is well received and popular enough we may see a “spoiler” set, and then the only other media is Andor which is getting a few well deserved sets. I’m torn because I want more OT and Mando verse sets but I alsO want more clone wars sets but sets more focused on Separatist forces (with the odd clone to go against them). All we’ve got is variants of B1s and until this year B2s but we are long overdue commando droids, droidekas, even a tactical droid, magna guards etc. and with 2 republic ships coming in winter summer would be perfect for a new vulture droid or tri droid. They could even continue the recent trend of ship vs ship sets by throwing in a v wing to go against one of them. We’ve all collected enough clones and they’ve got nothing to really go up against unlike in the good old days when it felt like there was more balance. 2025 could be a real opportunity to remake/rerelease new ships from factions that just haven’t had the chance (mainly the CIS). If the designs are good enough I think they would sell.

So earlier in the year I saw someone post about somethings to come in 2025, I didn’t think they were a known leaker as they were never taken seriously but some of the things they predicted was LOTR set in 2025 possibly a bagend, a return of the simpsons theme (think it was a Krusty burger) LEGO horizon but not sets and that we would get an Endor mbs. there were a few other things he leaked but they were things I can’t remember but knowing what we know now. Some of these rumours have been also rumoured by other more prominent leakers so Endor could could be coming. Honestly though I can’t remember there name it’s just a strange coincidence that so many of those things are coming to light when they said they were coming months and months ago
