I thought they were alive and then some sacrificed themselves in the end to get reanimated. also it mad how June sets have leaked and we’ve only had sneak glimpses of the May wave -

So is the clone BP coming in June then? I like the yellow of the walker. The rest is a bit underwhelming imo might be on my own here but I’m hoping the night troopers are all human and not zombie heads. Even so it’s not the best for me. maul mech looks pretty cool I think the microfighter might be one of the worst they’ve ever done think Lego need to have a rethink of what they want from the microfighter series used to be a cool small build with a figure now it’s a cool figure with a meh build. -

I meant the 3 smaller figures next to the stormtroopers. -

It’s a shame the R1 wave gave us so much and Lego like redoing sets but switching source material, (ROTS ATTe instead of a AOTC one for example) imagine Lego put that in to some Empire and rebel sets give us some things new. All the D+ content has given us so much new Imperial stuff it would sell. Doesn’t even have to be linked to the OT just think these days link it to the Empire. like I said before we have potentially a January and March wave with an open canvas before we get 100 sets with 100 versions of Grogu and Din Djarin in. with that Andor poster do we know who those 3 imperials are above Krennic? -

I was trying to be optimistic :). I know it’s all been shown in the trailer but there might be characters or props or whatever which could. Although saying that they’ve announced most of the majors players and the showrunner has said he’s not one for putting characters in the show for the sake of fan service. Can never be one to predict what Lego do these days but in theory 2026 will have a massive May wave for the Mando film which could leave room in January and March for some more Andor sets. Feel like season 2 is going to be more action packed than 1 and it might get the viewership 1 didn’t especially with returning characters from R1. also am I misremembering but isn’t there another set from the summer we don’t know of yet or did that turn out to be the V19 or the Slave 1 -

I agree but also with the Lego shows they do hold things back for future waves especially for things SW would say that are spoilers. We are getting an Ahsoka bp years after it came out. I have a feeling January will give us more. Am I right and there is no new SW until Mando and Grogu? If so there is potential for more sets -

Glad for those who like the gwp. I like that they keep putting sets with figures as a gwp just this one doesn’t do it for me. I’m kind of glad as apart from the U wing there is nothing else I really want to get to the threshold -

Could they not? I seem to remember being able to fit loads in the old one. I still think it looks too small. I’m surprised we haven’t been able to get more pictures yet or any of the May sets yet. those Rogue one sets are probably some of if not the best wave in Lego. It had everything 2 perfect BPs, a new AtST (which we hadn’t had for ages), a new imperial tank, new tie, a new y wing, every new imperial trooper variant (death and shore troopers) every major character (except Saw). It would be very hard to argue with what they missed. They also didn’t have like Jyn or Cassian in every set, which we know is going to be the opposite with the Mando movie he’ll literally be in every set. those movie waves we got in the 2010s were pretty epic. It’s a shame with the TV show they can’t do the same because of revealing spoilers from the show. These days you have a set you see in the trailer and then the next wave you get your spoiler set. -

I need more pictures of the U wing but to me that compartment looks tiny like I don’t know if the figures will even be able to stand. I agree the rogue one wave was pretty good just a shame SW films are so hard to release to get this level of quality again -

Well I’m fairly certain last few years we found out set names and numbers on April 1st because we all thought it was an April fools I think however we know already more info about this summers set than we did about last years summer sets at this point of the year. we’ve still got all of mays and Junes set pictures to come soon and details of the May 4th gwp -

There is nothing whatsoever in any leaks so far to say it isn’t happening. The only doubts I’m aware of was a case of Eurobricks Chinese whispers where someone was speculating/wishlisting and two pages later people weren’t sure it was happening. Obviously we were here last year hearing rumours of a play scale Death Star only to end up with an ISD so we can never ever rule anything out. But it think it’s coming just don’t know exactly what figures yet. We will probably start to get more details over the next month or so about the August sets definitely too early for pictures. -

They cancelled the UT-AT years ago and look what we are getting now. I would be curious to know why it was cancelled, I also read somewhere they cancelled a yoda vs Dooku set around that time as well but I can’t remember where I read that -

From my experience the guys I work with and my mates from school only started getting the odd Lego sets again in Covid lockdown which is when the adult focused sets seem to really lift off a bit more. Most of them said they had loads as kids and chucked it out so maybe it’s not a general thing then but I thought from my own experience that it was a fair assumption. also with the games I’m married with 2 kids under 3 when Skyrim came out I was in my 1st year of University and GTA V came out I was in my 3rd year of University that’s well over 10 years now my personal hype for those games will come when I see some actual footage of them, but also I have commitments now I can’t sit in my room for 12 hours a day and play those games like they should. Even if I could get time off work my wife would be getting me to do some sort of DIY project or taking the kids to soft play or something like that. Lego is a lot easier to do as a hobby for now until it starts costing more than the mortgage does. i just thought I’d share my thoughts I know it’s hypocritical to be moaning about a new licensed theme when my favourite theme is a licensed theme just miss the old days of Lego. -

It’s more not just Pokemon but like “oh no another one”, had Bluey, peppa pig, Mario, animal crossing, Nintendo in general, all 10 F1 teams and F1 itself, Star Trek could go on just the ones I’ve noticed past few weeks. Just wonder what the next one would be. Licensed themes cost more when it comes to sets. SW is prime example a BP cost 20 quid but a city pack with similar figures cost half. I fear for Legos long term future. It’s a fair assumption to say most AFOls were once fans of Lego as kids so if Lego shifts to being an adult first market where are the new generation of customers going to come from? i think that the Lego we all know from our childhoods whether it’s be the 80s, 90s, 00s is dead and gone and my wife will probably be happier because I’ll probably end up spending less and buying fewer sets Didn’t mean to be as dramatic but I do feel that the rise of more licenses and especially the icons and other 18+ sets has given me the impression that all set prices have gone up (regardless of inflation) if one theme produces set x with x amount of pieces and figures and sells well for 20% more than normal lets give it a go with set y from another theme. Prime example is Jedi fighters. Used to be a cheap and easy £20-25 set with 3 figures and a droid and every 6 months they’ve released one the price has gone up - I don’t think it’s all down to inflation it is corporate greed and for me the more and more licensed themes I feel like the more they will do it and at some point we’ll have 4 figure battle pack for £50 (and the way basic sets are going we’ll be thanking them for it due to our starvation of system scale SW sets) I don’t know for me the toy I grew up with and the hobby I enjoy (and benefits my mental health) isn’t what it once was and I’m not sure what I’m going to do one day. I’d say go back to gaming but I’m a single player gamer and those games are already on the way of the dodo -

Slightly unrelated but just seen that Pokemon and Lego are collaborating now with a new theme. All these licensed themes Lego have now cant see them being cheap can only see them rising the prices again on all sets across the board. Crazy how there is only a handful of themes that are created by Lego everything else is just licensed. To me it really is the end of Lego as primarily being a child’s toy in a way that I remember as a 90s kid. They are fully a collectible now aimed for Adults with premium prices. I’m surprised tbh that all these themes have not cannibalised legos sales seems to have done the opposite. Such a shame that so many themes that a couple of generations of kids now haven’t had the chance of a cheapish classic castle, space or pirate theme. -

So May releases is the U wing, UCS slave 1 (I’m ready for everyone’s tears when Lego doesn’t call it the slave 1). Do we know the May the 4th GWP yet, last I read was something with 3 figures. What else is coming in May? And then we have the summer sets but what is the June wave looking like? Also not one to get too political but seen on Reddit JW sets are getting price hikes just in the US. Wonder if all this tariff and Greenland nonsense might mean there be some price hikes in the US for other themes like SW etc. chances are it isn’t just Lego greed but they are a Danish company and Greenland is Danish stranger things have happened -

If it’s a new range finder for Jango. I presume it’ll be new for all figures going forward? Which could mean the clones coming in the summer may have new ones? -

Re the B1s I’m fed up with them appearing in every set every year in anything to do with prequel or clone wars. Whilst they may or may not need a redesign what they do need is to maybe make some alternate droids from that era. I realised half way through typing this its similar to clones get so bored of them we want a change -

Does anyone know how much the U wing will be in GBP? this is my wild prediction (well I have two) one we are going to get one of those ISB troopers in a magazine next year. And 2 we will get another Andor set in 2026 probably the reaper. We get follow up sets all the time 6-18 months after release I wouldn’t be surprised if we got one or two more. -

I agree it is what started it all but ithas some of the most iconic parts. Other fans would argue what they like has more iconic parts. I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole because we all as SW fans have our own favourites. But again no one area should dominate the line up be that Clones, OT, or buildable droids etc. I agree with most people about the lack of empire and OT stuff and also those who says about the lack of ST and CIS sets/figures but the bigger problem is that there are fewer sets that are in the traditional system scale and more gimicy and adult focused ones and when there are more content each area has a smaller window to be represented. For me I’d absolutely loathe this years line up if it wasn’t for the fact that for me I’ve never had a chance to get an MTT let alone one in the CW style, I’ve always wanted the clone snow troopers in the UTAT and ever since seeing the image of the cancelled set I thought it looked like a cool set. For me unfortunately I’m probably the only one who thinks it’s a great line up. But please believe me when I say after this year I’m done with Clone focused things. We’ve got new content next year hopefully brings around a wave of two of new interesting sets and builds. could you imagine a world where the empire got the same treatment clones had in recent years. Battle packs to cover purge troopers, ISB, even just plain Stormtroopers. Playsets covering drop ships, fighters and tanks that have barely featured in live action. It would be bliss -

I get it the OT is iconic and should always do stuff from it but also we are at a point where we have had 3 separate trilogies of films multiple animated and live action series set in between and during said trilogies and within the next 5-10 years there is a strong possibility of another trilogy or films set beyond what we’ve had at some point the demand is just not going to be there. i love empire sets, if they had sets of imperial troops/vehicles battle packs and ships from solo, OT, Rogue one, rebels, mandoverse, Kenobi, Jedi fallen order games I’d buy the lot. But I do appreciate that there is more to SW than just the empire. everyone hates the current stormtrooper design anyway surely it’s a blessing in disguise that there aren’t any coming? They’ll probably redesign the helmets soon anyway also the same can be said for Clones and CW at some point we’ve got to move on from them as well. -

Compared to the last one where you could fit troops in this one looks like you might fit one or two at best and they might have to sit down. But like someone else said as a display piece it looks nice
