  1. Yes, that might be the case. But it does not necessarily contradict what i have said. Maybe the interest in the general population in Pirates sets is smaller than anticipated. We don't know. What i meant was, that of the people that were critical in online forums some still ended up buying the set. But 50 people in a forum have not a real impact on the market
  2. This series is so good Keep it up!
  3. That's a fun scene! The dragon head is nice parts usage with the minifig legs and leaves! I also like how you build the floor. Also very nice minifig articulation - the fool
  4. Wonderful moc! I really like the color and shape of the roof. I wish Lego would still produce the classic shutters. I also like the interior! But my highlight are the flowers, especially the ones on the back. The dark green and light blossoms work well together
  5. Ok, great! Let's do it We can work that out in DMs.
  6. Diagon Alley i would presume.
  7. I think many of the people that were critical about Eldorado still ended up buying it because the positive aspects still outweight the negative aspects for them. But that's actually an interesting question. Maybe we should make an poll about it?!
  8. They have done solitary sets for other IPs too, so i would not completely rule it out LEGO works in mysterious ways after all
  9. Welcome to the party @FerrusManus12 Enjoy your stay!
  10. I too think it will be a big ICONS ship, either a remake of the Barracuda or POTC's Black Pearl. A GWP or easter egg or Pirates reference in an other set is always possible i guess. And hopefully we get a CMF minifig next year with series 26.
  11. Oh, i love this idea! If we simply transform the Viking Village into a Pirate town, the chief's house could be a tavern, the smith's workshop could be kept or transformed into an other artisan's workshop or fisherman's hut. Treasures could be hidden in the cave. The house above it could be a jail/fortress tower or lighthouse. The viking statue could be transformed into a Islanders statue. Instead of the snow we have some tropical vegetation and a palm tree. Voilà, set finished
  12. Happy New Year everyone So 2024 has come and we want to speculate a little bit about the next Lego Pirates set. Will we get something big this year or do we have to wait until 2025? Will the next Pirates set be a GWP? A Playset? Or will the next Lego Pirates set be part of a wave, released within other themes like Creator, City, Friends or Dreamzz? Tell us what you think! Every voter has multiple choices! Check the boxes/statements that seem to be most sensible to you and submit your vote!
  13. So only 1.5 years. Seems short for such a set?!
  14. Very nice! Happy new year! I wish we would see more Star Trek Mocs. (Yes, i like Star Trek and Star Wars )
  15. A fitting end for this great story and series of fine vignettes. I am sure you are tired to hear it but i love how you build all these diverse mocs at such a small scale of 8x8 and the stories were written really well The spider overlooking the prison yard, the flames behind the window, the activist throwing the freedom bottle or whatever it is called in this location and time all look great! Hope to see more of this stuff in the future. I am addicted!

  17. Surely it is a technical necessity that the boxes contain 49% of air. Lego would never use oversized boxes to make products look bigger on store shelves because as a company they value the environment and going green is not just a marketing phrase for them but an intrinsic desire! Just kiddin' I noticed the same issue when i measured some boxes and content.
  18. Great, thanks again! I might try that next year
  19. I see, thanks! The redcoat looks fantastic too! So one torso with front and back printed costs 6.80€ or does it cost more when you apply your own design?
  20. These look beautiful How do you print them?
  21. Both look really good! the dark blue one is my favorite
  22. Since we got one Dune set, maybe we get more for Dune Part Two? Arrakis is kinda orange
