  1. Some fine mocs there! Thanks for digging this out
  2. Another great octagon! Lush and cozy
  3. Looks like two 10x10 square nets connected with strings with a stud on each end.
  4. No big deal. Is more a funny personal story in my case. I did and do a lot of reasearch about planes and other military equipment for a video game. And the wing fences of some planes, like the MiG-15 or MiG-17 are details that are stuck in my head. Although it plays no role in said video game. Now, when i see the model of a plane i am automatically drawn to the wing fences and my imagination kicks in and i see Lego parts and pieces
  5. That whale and splashing water looks great! There's so much action in this build! The desert with the small oasis looks great too!
  6. Nice to meet you Kristof aka @KrisBrix! Welcome to the forum
  7. I had no expectations for R2, but the build looks great. Cute even I like how they designed the legs. The top, with all the visible grey studs, looks a bit rough though.
  8. I guess every of the re-imagined classic sets has a part in bringing adults back into LEGO.
  9. What are the legal agreements when it comes to unlicensed IDEAS sets? The agreements with the designer of the ideas submission that got selected to become a official set?
  10. Great artwork and build! Hope to learn more about the new era soon!
  11. The price per piece for the Tantive IV hallway set is almost 11c per piece. So it's not a cheap set. But actually i am okay with the price because we get 7 minifigs. I am so happy we finaly got a picture of the set and i can't wait to get the set. Actually i want to get two and connect them as it is planned?! I only build half of the sets i buy, the rest will just be parted out. But this one i'll build for sure!
  12. I like the set Definitely getting two! I also spot some useful bricks that i don't have to order now
  13. Sorry if this has been brought up already, but when and how will the 6476261: Monkie Kid 5th Anniversary Cake be released?
  14. These figures look fantastic! I wish Lego would offer us battlepacks with such figures! Are the spears/naginatas china pieces too? They look great.
  15. Great video I especially like the secret weapons stash. And back in the day there were ladders everywhere, so minifigs could get to the upper levels. Unlike some modern sets But my favorite is the alternate build in the lower right corner of the the page. It looks great! Thanks for sharing!
  16. I am sure it is not the 50-eyed space kraken Summa-verminoth from SOLO How is it possible people know that it is a creature with multiple eyes but anything else about the creature is unknown?
  17. Today i bought two of the LSW Magazines at the local supermarket. They had 10 or more copies! Palpatine's cape was loose in the paper bag. Maybe i remember wrong, but didn't the capes come in a small paper box with previous magazine minifigs?
  18. Nice one! You captured the look of the La-15 well I wonder if, if the wings would be 2 plates thick, it would be posibble to integrate the wing fences into the wing. But that's just me thinking
  19. Pirates board the ship, err, spaceship It will be super interesting to see with what people come up with!
  20. I build MOCs and play the Pirate and Star Wars RPGs here in the forum. At the moment all the MOCs i build are for these two games because i have no time to build something else When i buy a set, it's mostly for the parts and minifigs and more than half of the sets i buy i never build. But if it's an interesting set and build process i enjoy it very much!
  21. First i was confused, seeing the same build twice. But wait, it's not the same build... Great collaboration, you guys! Both builds capture the same aesthetic so well, it's flawless. The waterfall is a great addition to the scene! And i love the creature-drawn bandit cart!
  22. The back is much too beautiful to be hidden in a small alleyway between some modulars! Put it between two streets so both sides are visible and add a small corner building! Anyway, great job
  23. I think the hair piece is this one from Fili the Dwarf from The Hobbit. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=11908&idColor=150#T=C&C=150
  24. And as we can see 40% of the Lego aficionados and visitors of this very pirate forum have not yet bought the EF set for different reasons. So it's not a no-brainer, even in our peer group. But of course, it's just one poll and hard to draw conclusions. To bad we don't have the sales numbers from Lego (Memo to myself: For the next poll about a specific set, add a 1-10 rating poll question.)
