Yep, it's perfect! For those who don't know: In Germany almost all movies are dubbed. The Thrawn trilogy radio dramas feature all voice actors who first dubbed the main characters of the original triology. That's what makes the radio dramas so special. For us Germans, all the original characters are present! Bonus: the whole Thrawn trilogy radio drama in German is freely available at Youtube.

First and foremost I had Bluebrixx in mind because their videos regularly pop up in my YT feed. I guess because I watch so many Lego videos They have a whole Pirates series with various ships, islands, expansian packs, parts packs and minifigure packs. That is something impossible for Lego. As far as I understand all their islands are modular and can be combined with each other. You can take the cliff walls off and combine everything as you like. Could you imagine getting a battlepack with 8 [sic!] minifigures and accessories from Lego? Heck, even the wrecked ship is modular and gets and expansion pack! Then there are the Mouldking sailing ships and all the stuff from Chinese companies. I just watch the reviews at YT for entertainment because I want to stay up to date and because I am interested to see all the Pirates stuff that Lego is incapable of producing. As a moccer i have no interest in the sets as such. It's just a good opportunity to get the parts and minifigs. That's why i selfishly want Lego to produce such sets

I think Lego Pirates is in a very bad state and I am very pessimistic for the future. Every few years they trow us a single big treat to cash in on peoples nostalgia, but that's about it. Meanwhile other companies are pumping out pirate set after pirate set. So there are people who buy these sets, right? There is market for pirate themed sets, right? I want to understand! TLG do you hear me?

General Pirates Musings/Chit Chat Thread
Yperio_Bricks replied to Captain Pirate Man's topic in LEGO Pirates
Here is it. So on the left you can see the old water technique using black plates and trans dark blue tiles. Right is the new technique using dark grey plates, trans blue plates and trans blue tiles. Only downside of the new technique is that there are basically two trans light blue colors One is blue and the other one is a bit lighter and looks a bit more green. You can even see it in the picture. Which one looks better? -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Yperio_Bricks replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, thanks! I didn't notice it is possible to rotate the items now. I was just wondering why they changed all pictures. I feel you. Happened to me too when i was ordering some nice torsos only to learn about the back print after they arrived -
I love that elevated road! It really looks like Corellia The speeders a built well. What i also like are the antennas. Also Karrde's hounds Really looking forward to see how the story continues! (The appearance of Karrde reminds me of the fantastic German audio plays of the Zahn triology. Makes me want to listen to them again!)

Another great addition to the series! The camo scheme and invasion stripes looks so good I also really like that you always share some background information with us! Did you ever think about building a P-47D bubbletop?

A beautiful and cozy courtyard! I like the fountain and water lilies as well as the decorations. The domes in the background are a great detail and create a lot of depth. Like, the world does not end with the wall, there is a whole city behind it! At least that is my interpretation

A great addition to the series! The technic bricks are perfect to create the pattern on the back wall. I really like how you build the board. Lego should give us a big map printed tile! -
LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Yperio_Bricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I often think they act clueless, but Lego is a multi-billion dollar company, so everything must follow an exact schedule which has been planed long ago. At least that's what I would expect from such a large company. I only wish we could understand why some sets get revealed months prior their release date and others, like Jedi Bob's Starfighter, get revealed very very late. Where's the pattern in the chaos? -

*Your entry has earned 19 XP + 3 bonus for a total of 22 XP (S:5, T:7, A:6) The Dagro Episode: Part V: Finale Grande The Republic agent tracked down the villain and action was about to commence in the streets of the district capital! Dark Lord: (With a tad too much pathos in his voice) "I am Darth Ragnagoth the Great! Ruler of this city, the whole planet and the nearby sectors. If you go now, you shall leave this planet unharmed." General Rox: "In the name of the Republic, surrender your weapons and capitulate. We will put in a good word for you in court. Only 10 or 20 standard years in the ore mines of Delrian..." Dark Lord: "If you little creatures continue to annoy me, I'll be forced to activate my lightsaber and cut you a little." General Rox: "Go ahead then, Dark Lord!" Darth Ragnagoth turned his back to the Republic forces... and... activated his lightsaber! General Rox: "Sir, it looks like you just put a wooden stick on your lightsaber hilt, no?" Unfazed by the shenanigans a beggar sat in a corner, asking for alms. After the imposter and his companions were taken into custody, peace returned and everything went back to normal. As it ever was on the peaceful agriworld of Dagro. Nevertheless, the Dagro people would talk about the Sith Lord who ruled their planet for a long long time in the years to come and eventually the spectacle became part of the local folklore. ~ The End ~

Generally you have to host your images elsewhere at a site like imgur, bricksafe or flickr or any other website where you can upload images. But you could also simply use the images from Rebrickable. Just copy the image location and add it to your Eurobricks post, then the pictures should be shown automatically. Btw, the Rancor looks fantastic! Great job
